hahaha the times when a Killer has had my back have been some of the best in this game. I don't even care if I get sacrificed in the end. If I'm outplayed--especially by someone who values sportsmanship--then that's fine by me.
Most killers play survivor. And most survivors have run into sandbagging survivors. So in solos I just run bond and play keep away. And get my revenge on them if I see their type as killer.
It's the sandbagging survivors that play killer you gotta look out for. They can be found mostly at and around a hooked survivor, making reassurance viable.
-
Most of the killers I win against played nice most of the killers I lose against don't play nice.
As for survivor if your team is good and you played efficient you should always win. If your team bad just go next, noone wins.
-
I love when a survivor is getting tunnelled out and the other three band together to both save survivor and all get out. It's just I know how many times we've all failed in that scenario and finally succeeding it gives me good feels man.
-
Relieved that I can kill a xxxxxxx survivor and noone will care.
-
Bond and windows are pretty dang good together if you're feeling altruistic the current pain res meta absolutely begs you to run sabotuer alongside them.
Built to last is a little on the lower end of usefulness considering the time it takes to recharge.
And of all the other perks youre running I'd rate adrenaline the highest.
Overall bond, windows, built, lucky 6/10
Bond, windows, adrenaline, sabo 10/10
-
Half the player base is on console and can't say gg so you'll never know if they are enjoying themselves. From the way some pc players treat us I dont know that they give a ********.
-
Not as much as I find the mortar sfx from fast actions annoying and the black bubbles blocking my view as immersive breaking.
-
If the player is clearly lesser experienced and just having a rough go of it I am going to ease way up. It's just in my nature to not be terrible to that type. There's no way around it.

DBD Content creators suck.
DBD content creators suck when they DC or give up in front of 1000+ viewers. If only they cared about the damage they are doing. Half of my games are garbage now because the community thinks this is how things should be. The DC penalties are a joke.
-
I'm not sure dance with me needs a buff but I sure as heck would like the utility of quieter footsteps. Parental guidance should probably get a buff in this way. Seeing how trash it is when killer just opens their ears after you've stunned them.

I like the red ones.
I would give you my whole bag of red ones for 10 of your grapes ones. And that's my first offer.
-
Whatever your opinion is, don't let the killer know you're not playing for the team unless youre a crazy person who enjoys long drawn out wars for who can die last.
-
Why stop there? Let the community decide on a weekly in-game vote what killer they don't want to see for the following week. And then that killer has a three month cool down before they can be voted for again.
Have them also pick a killer they want to see and give a bp incentive for them to play it.
Why is flexible community voting strictly holiday based? Just seems like a healthy thing to allow players a choice to not verse nurse when a new killer comes out.
-
It makes me sad even infuriated at the thought of cross progression never even coming before they pull the PS4 plug. I would rather not play than play on another console ever again. And I sure as heck am not starting over. Ever.
-
I've seen how terrible it is at low to mid mmr and Its pretty terrible. Doesn't seem like a fair way to treat lesser experienced players. They should definitely have a better introduction to a game that they are unsure if they will continue to play. It just seems like there is a lot to adjust to in order to get acclimated into the game these days.
-
I feel like crows should break the collision of all survivor and killer to prevent sandbagging.
I also feel like survivors are past due for a perk that hides your aura from a survivor that is harassing you.
And in regards to swf spectators team trolling. plenty of games allow you to opt out of spectate mode for this very reason alone seems like an oversight to allow all of this to go on for so long imo.
-
It is quite literally impossible to play at all against some doctors when they have eruption and the ability to stop you built in to their mechanic. Very bad when doctors typically are seen more at lower mmr as well. Doesn't seem fair to newer or lesser experienced players at all and that's coming from me watching them DC and give up a lot.
-
Careful when using discordance. It can distract you from gaining bloodlust. I typically only heed the call of discordance at the start of the match and when I get someone up on the hook. Good perks to run with discordance is fearmonger, pain res and tinkerer. Top it off with an ability to one shot and you won't have to worry too much about gen progress anymore.
-
Survivors looping the 3 gen on coal tower/azarovs until they are dead. Just kill me instead plz.
-
Op, I think you'd rather have a perk for that. One that hides your aura from the team. I run into bond baggers more often then snitches but I don't care for hatch games so slugs get rescued.
-
Just go by the 2 2 2 rule. 2 totems, 2 gens, 2 unhooks. If you've managed to lead a good chase in there as well, most likely, you won't even need to escape to get a pip up.
Kindred will help you be most efficient with the gens and unhooks.

See, it's kinda weird to me because killer is a walk on the beach right not without needing to hard tunnel like this. I've literally stopped playing killer after 6.1 because it was just kinda too easy/boring. And I never tunneled or camped unless when someone asked for it just for the memes.
So you'd think with all those killer buffs people will tunnel less because they can win matches by not playing like a douche...
Spreading hooks out as killer is not a walk on the beach. However, targeting one survivor in soloq is a walk on the beach.
-
A classic tale of a killer not paying any mind to one survivor and the rest thinking that that one survivor is the problem. Nevermind the countless things in dbd that prevent you from helping: Lightborn, starstruck, infectious fright, chases being completely unpredictable, hooks being so close to one another, survivors actually not wanting help at all, chainsaws, killer instinct. Or nevermind that if the one person didn't do the gens the match was going to go nowhere.
-
Zanshin tactics for killer. Cutting your first chases shorter by knowing the shorter routes in chase is only countered by smart windows of opportunity players.
Lucky break. If all survivors played lucky break all our vs nurse games would be so much more feasible.
-
Urban evasion is still a perk?
-
You're telling me. I played my first killer match after over a year and I got a swf with all the meta perks and all the map knowledge.
I played over 300 survivor matches at least and I still get the crouch behind rock watch me do gen and run killer teammates.

What are the devs supposed to do to prevent people constantly giving up/disconnecting?
Allow us to move on with our lives.

Game changer perk like unbreakable but you'll only get to use after you've given up bringing it because its never used over hours of play.
-
I agree except for the 95% Wesker part. It's more like 3% with nurse at 85% and the rest at 12%.
-
Nemesis hits through windows and pallets, is it really a contest?
-
Higher nurse rates than new killer rates even twins was a higher pick rate than this.

If I was playing with someone who stealthed all game, I could see a situation in which I would let the killer carry me around to find the last survivor.
If my teammates were stealthing all game I can't see a situation where I don't struggle here. You stealth and show no love to me, don't expect me to care what killer perks are in play when I give in.
Luckily I get bored of being in matches with sandbagging survivors so I just loop and gen rush then on to next match.
-
Unless behaviour can add maximum incentive to spread hooks out camping and tunneling will forever be.
I was thinking there could be a way to work the entity in there where she can make things more spicey when the hook count goes up. Something more imaginative than min/max what's already there.
-
New rpd is the same as old rpd with a higher spawn rate and less intrigue to go.
-
Grape is the best jolly rancher flavor.
-
Load times.
-
Spoiler alert, they had every intention of doing it before the dc. They just got to 3v1 faster.
Killers just so you know we all know you've won at this point thank you for humoring us by not camping and tunneling condemned 3v1 survivors

Killers.. from a fellow killer main.. please please please stop slugging and bleeding out the last 2 survivors for the 4k.. it’s really not that serious. 2 games in a row I had to sit through the bleed out timer because the killer couldn’t fathom not getting the 4k.
Just hook the third, and if the 4th gets hatch, they get hatch. It’s still a win. :)
Have fun and see you in the fog.
Killers.. some of us survivors actually do appreciate you and would show it if it was implemented in the game. The community is long overdue for some way to give each other props and mvp bonus..
-
Low profile is going to be the key to life and death in most solo queue matches. I love the improvements bhvr made to low profile and it almost makes up for the blatant murder of iron will.
-
Reassurance will be super useful to survivors who often lose killer in chase and killer camps to try and get the time/pressure back.
This happens often.
-
Maybe not pay to win but definitely grind to win. If you don't have things unlocked to use like items or perks then better get some friends fast.
And just forget playing killer until you've got some gen regression unlocked.

Meta shake up omegalul
As magical as shaking a snowglobe with no snow.

Yes good unless the game is killer sided because newer players can't get aleg up while veterans dwindle their supply grinding for more. Good for player base deterioration imo.

Okay, it's still anti-fun and we should try to limit it as much as possible.
I figure if we make it so that Killers do not need to camp or tunnel, we can then remove their ability to.
I just don't think a player should have the ability to completely prevent another user from playing the game. That's dumb.
Emotionless killers do not care about their need to camp and tunnel. You could extend generator times to max and half the killers I run into will still do the thing survivors hate most of all.
When mettle of man released I thought we would be going in a right direction from camping and tunneling but I'm convinced nothing stands a chance to this mechanic in dbd.
-
What if the survivor on hook is a gigabrain and knows by what they see upon the hook the outcome of the match? I like to prove those types wrong but I've yet to be proven wrong myself. I mean I've gotten hatch before but God I hate playing for hatch.
Tldr; Gigabrain will stay in match for you but everyone will die.

SOLO PLAYERS, WHAT DO YOU WANT DONE TO IMPROVE SOLO?
1) KINDRED BASEKIT FOR THE LOVE OF NEA. (no killer aura reveal)
2)FINALLY A PURPOSE TO THE CHANGE OF THE HUD.
100 times yes
-
The change is fine if there weren't certain killers that can just put you in deep wound to negate all of it's worth.
-
@NinthCrystal said:
Some really good suggestions there.
Another suggestion is to let players ban a certain killer when they queue up. Then those who like to go up against the Nurse can, and those who don't aren't forced to. This will increase que times, but I know most would happily que a bit longer to get a game they actually want to play rather than one where people instantly kill themselves on hook.
This solution sounds most appealing solely because I'm tired of survivors not wanting to play a match because of a killer. And I can finally play nurse games in a 4v1. Also rip hag.
-
I concur, and if 1 dcs everyone else should be able to without a penalty.

aaaaand what do you want me to do about that?
Please can someone give me ONE good reason as to why I, a solo queue player, should sweat my absolute ass off in a game just so we can all get 4k'd at 4 gens left because the killer ran 4 slow downs??
Nobody ever gives me a valid reason.
"You not wanting to sit through a 30 minute solo queue game is the reason solo queue will forever be dead."
I'm flattered, really. But I think the fact that killers got buffed to perform better against SWFs while solo queue got zero buffs or quality of life updates is the reason solo queue is dead.
But no, the problem lies with the players for wanting to enjoy the game and totally not on BHVR for neglecting the majority of the players who play solo queue lol. Y'all are so unserious.
"B-b-b-b-b-b-but what about your team??" And what about them? Idk those people. I'm doing them a favor. The sooner we get out of slowdown city, the sooner we can all move on to another match.
Its not your actions it's your mental state of you're saving us all by pulling the plug and that mental state is widespread because you are simply not alone. You and others are not conveying enough empathy and patience to defeat a challenge. Instead you are making things impossible. You know the games will be challenging so if you are not up for it just go do something else. Simply put.
