I may be wrong but isnt the first disconnect 1 minute ?

Here is my poorly made tier list.
S tier are the survivors with the best cosmetics, A is the survivors with above average cosmetics, B is average cosmetics, C is the people with ok cosmetics and D are the survivors I don’t wanna play.
why you gotta do my boi Jeff like that ?:(

Its likely a jab at the way internet providers are set up in the US, a series of companies has basically split control over different regions. It's rare to have options of providers (at least in the rural areas im used to) which allows for bad price gouging
yeah that makes sense

I heard it was "another surprise" similar to the hype surrounding the new chapter.
I would say that is overhyping it. Not like it matters, I'm just giving it a rating.
Peanits stated in another post prior to the stream that it had nothing to do with the new chapter.

@ClickyClicky said:
The biggest surprise was seeing Peanits for the first time and him looking completely different to what I imagined. Had him down as more of a viking like his old profile pic.
same! i liked his shirt though!

We won't have any more details on the next chapter, but we may have a slightly different kind of SuRpRiSe.
what time is the stream today? sorry if youve already answered this.

i think its going to be my student loans holding me back . feels bad ma.

The devs have stated camping is a valid strategy.

People think because the numbers are slightly lower than before that the name "Forever Freddy" can't be used. It's really annoying and doesn't contribute at all to the actual discussion lmao
Same thing when people say "Insta-saw doesn't exist anymore". Yeah no ######### old insta saw doesn't exist, we're talking about double charge speed add-ons. Of course you knew that, but just gotta derail a conversation you don't like somehow. We're not going to call it "Significantly faster saw" or "Slightly less forever Freddy". Grow up.
you realize you can wake up right?

@Elvenmonk said:
Look, just stop it.
To the people saying just buy better internet needs to look at internet pricing and speeds in the US.
I lived in a major city and it was $70/mo for 4Mbps. The next highest was 100Mbps at$250/mo. Oligarchies are fun!
Esp for a game most probably picked up on sale for like $5.
Not everyone can drop 250 every month. Just like everyone can't drop a lot of money on the ever growing resource costs of dbd.
Then if you live in a smaller city you'll be lucky to find a 4Mbps connection and in some areas it is dsl or sat net.
I play MHW just fine on my laptop but dbd lags. For some reason Senran Peach Splash does too, but it's also a very poorly optimized game. I can also play mgsv on it too.
I can play games that should cost way more in resources than DbD with bigger maps,AI eating away at my cpu, higher graphics and tons more. Yet DbD lags and crashes,once every like week or so, but the other games don't.
Before I moved I had to switch to my desktop for dbd which is made for super high end gaming,programming, and video editing. Which shouldn't be needed,especially for a game that runs on the switch and cellphones.
Asking for people to pay for big upgrades,and expensive monthly ones, isn't cool.
Accuse away of them lying but quit the poor shaming on a game that heavily sells at budget prices.
It's not like we bought star citizen.
A lot of people game for fun and as a cheap hobby. Pay$15 for a game to play online when you want is a lot cheaper then paying $15 a week to see movies, plays, going to the club,etc..
not sure how that's an oligarchy but ight .

@ClickyClicky said:
How do you know they’re disconnecting?
Unless you’re using a mori or map offering, something which would cause them to disconnect then it’s very likely the infinite load screen.
because when the game starts it says a player has disconnected .

no. i watched him the other night, he is definitely in red ranks.
-
@kidmaxx said:
They do play but have you watched them? Even the 'good' ones kinda suck. It's like that in a lot of multiplayer games but usually they listen to their best players about the direction the game needs to go. Instead, BHVR has decided they want to make their game 'fun' instead of 'competitive', so they actually take their own experiences into account.
I've watched a couple, for example I watch peanits almost everytime he streams and I can tell you hes pretty darn good. especially with huntress.

Wasn't my intent, I just think this is a cool idea for a killer. Remember, I don't expect these changes to happen. It's just how I would've made him.
it's a very interesting idea , I liked the part where the survivors aura would be shown . maybe they could take that part of your idea and make it into a perk instead .
-
so you would make him a basic m1 killer ?

@KornySon10 said:
Why do people think clown is bad? He is add-on relient sure, but with a proper build and some decent add-ons he is an absolute monster in the chase.
It's probably because people follow the stupid builds streamers like otz put out for him, with devour hope and haunted grounds and all that other RNG nonsense; instead of using their brain and creating one for themselves.
I usually do corrupt + bamboozle + brutal + pop goes. Bamboozle and brutal makes him terrifying to be chased by, corrupt for an early game slowdown, and pop goes for a mid-game slowdown.
There is literally nothing you can do against a bleach clown with bamboozle except feed him pallets non-stop, and with brutal you will cut through them like nothing.
I think the reason people find clown weak is because he has like zero map pressure , plus if the survivor is smart and throws down the pallet early to make distance there is not much the clown can do.
Also it isnt nice to criticize people for following people they like. I dont mean to be rude but if every streamer/youtuber and every player is saying he's weak (including survivors) then maybe it's true.

@BenZ0 said:
You do realize that the survivors always died in seconds in a chase? He cant chase them quicker as he did there, he barely ######### up any blinks and was always doing something, never wasting is time. The only thing that hold him back was the cooldown on the blink.
But ye.. just apply pressure i guess :)
when did i say apply more pressure?? obviously he didnt do as well as he could have, he played too nice and suffered the consequences. he slugged and they got back up. dozens of mistakes made by him, as well as the survivors. but it only matters when the killer does. bc thats what makes or breaks the game.

@Nicholas said:
Every suggestion is just about benefiting The Killer and improving their quality of life. None of them really address the core issue of tunneling. There are still cases where you can be tunneled beyond the 60 seconds and then what? And what about the second hook? If you want to narrow the scope of the perk, it would have to be effective in accomplishing the stated goal. Every suggestion is just a worst version of the current perk with too many additional prerequisites that are often beyond the control of the Survivor.
I see where you are coming from , I personally have never seen anyone with DS run a killer around for a whole minute. especially since they're already wounded .
but remember it would work after everyhook not just the one you hit the skill check on (which I'd consider a buff). DS is meant to be an anti tunneling perk according to the devs and I think this change would fix it.

He got 9k points in the whole match, he was doing terrible.
Just like killers dont have to make the game fun for survivors, survivors dont have to make the game fun for killers. flashlight saves are in the game for a reason mate.

Tunnelling is when you purposely go for survivor. Not every case of the killer meeting a hooked survivor again is tunnelling.
Your idea allows the survivor to not touch a gen, go straight up to a killer and T-bag him multiple times. Take hit for other survivors etc
Or perhaps I purposely leave a survivor and I happen to find him again. We're supposed to perpetually turn the other way now?
Every unhooked survivor would purposely not do gen and go straight to the killer to make full use of their perk.
you bring up some really valid points , thank you for not insulting me. what if it kept its 60 seconds?
-
@ClickyClicky said:
Agreed, The Ghostface mains would never have it though. Then they might actually have to pressure survivors rather than sitting around hooks.
just out of curiosity, what rank are you ? on both sides.

it's fair for stealth killers but Freddy naturally being immune to it is dumb in my opinion

@emptyCups said:
Genuine question
How many do you need ?
Survivors definitely need some to survive but how many do u NEED.
how would this give them more second chances? if you're tunneling you're literally asking to get DSed, you know at least one person in the match has it . if you choose to tunnel it's your fault for getting stunned , this change would however prevent them from making stupid plays with it like unhooking in your face only for you to grab them and get DSed.
-
that's a pretty cool idea!!

@emptyCups said:

Yet survivors scream about killers being over 60% kill rates whenever it's mentioned that killer is weak. Odd...
either way you shouldnt use those statistics, not sure what you were trying to get at lol. both you and those survivors are in the wrong.
-
@hex_genrush said:
lmao the bias is real, look how u refereed to killers and not just survivors as there are the same amount of survivor dcs as killer dcs, seems that every single one of your post and comments are Aimed at de grading killers lol
yeah, this guy is probably one of the most bias people on the forums.

@Dwinchester said:
Nurse is a bad killer. Even with a mountain of pressure and fast chases, she spends the majority of the game in fatigue, so it gives them time. She needs to either have the fatigue or the cooldown, not both. There is a reason she's got the lowest kill rate and its not the brutal learning curve.
lol I love when people bring up the kill rates even though the devs said they dont mean much and should be taken with a grain of salt .

if you want a punish, Do the penalty on bloodpoints 70% or 80% or even 90% less bloodpoints to the ona that DC for the next "x" games (3, 5, 10, 15, etc)
or better, give more bloodpoints to the 3 other survivors for doing objectives if 1 survivors DCs.
Without the DC penalty i always wait more than 5 mins, even to 10 mins ( i PAID a game not a lobby simulator ) now with the penalty imagine the wait time...
Devs are killing the game for not thinking well the penalty...
if you break the rules you get a punishment , that's how life works. if you dont want to sit in a lobby longer than you have to then dont DC.
-
bruh what? ruin is pretty easy to work through now . especially if they're camping the totem
-
as a PS4 player I can assure you , you dont want dedicated servers.
-
The real question is , why haven't they tried to sell some that the average person could afford ? they're really missing out on some big money
-
@Pulsar said:
Because lobby dodging shouldn't be hurting anyone.
If there weren't a shortage of players to match with at Red Ranks, nobody would care because it wouldn't take long to get in a match. Also, because you lose nothing when someone dodges.
If you don't want to get dodged, I have found that not bringing four toolboxes increases your chances.
or a key
-
I think the majority of DCs on both sides are from players just not having their way, and I believe they should be punished for quitting.
-
It gets boring after awhile , dont get me wrong I still run borrowed time and adrenalin but I hate having a crutch for when I mess up. also I've noticed that having DS makes me play extra bold which I dont like.

And I mean right infront of the survivor so basically face camping
not necessarily. I've had dozens of games where they are all on hook and a guy decides to kobe off in front of me.
-
Honestly it's not even that op of a perk. half the time it doesnt work or the survivor dead hards into a wall. lol
-
I would be fine with DS working after every unhook, as long as it cancelled after interacting with anything like a gen, totem, and a hooked player. oh and turned off during the EGC.
-
dedicated servers makes it pretty hard to use her. you'll hit people with your puke only for them to cough and not get infected. also it sucks that survivors control your power, and when they use all the fountains they reset :(
-
@Almo said:
Ruin did not "exist for a competitive means". It was just a perk like any other, and we didn't like the way it warped the game experience. So we changed it.
I can assure you it had nothing to do with how we felt about the game's level of competitiveness.
how do you guys feel about object of obsession ? doesnt it give too much info to players? especially on a SWF?
-
@deadbyhitbox said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1078428#Comment_1078428
Yeah, and never did I say that you said it benefitted them. Stop complaining about a perk that doesn't have any real benefit to survivors. Would you rather them be using Dead Hard? I swear man, people will literally get so in their feels and complain about literally everything that poses the slightest inconvenience toward them. It's an average perk that has counter play, and actually adds some different gameplay opportunities for both sides, while maintaining the ability to be entirely countered by the killer.
If you get "buLliEd" by Head On, it's your problem.
you still didnt answer my question , what if a killer had a perk to bully survivors ? wouldnt you be complaining ??? I bet you would.
-
Honestly I would be fine if DS worked every unhook . as long as they made it to where it disabled after every action such as unhooking a survivor, working on a gen, opening a chest and cleansing totems
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
I mean, Killers can destroy 4 Survivors to get rid of Adrenaline. But other than that, every one of those Perks has a Counter which does not involve any work from the Killer.
DS-->Dont go for the unhooked guy.
Unbreakable-->Pick the downed guy up. (In fact, its the Killers decision to slug... unbreakable is the counter to this decision)... And if someone does not go for the unhooked person right away, they also dont have to deal with that "either get DSed or Unbreakable"-Shenaningans.
BT-->Hit the Unhooker. Usually, if they are really hook-rushing, it is a Trade, because you can easily get a Hit before the Unhook and most likely after the Unhook as well.
I think unbreakable is fine , it's really when you pair it with DS where it gets pretty powerful. you really cant win in a chase with someone with DS and unbreakable.
