Small game isn't viable for that. If you run small game there is a chance you will run up against a trapper, hag, or Freddy. In which case small game will be going off constantly due to the belongings they leave behind in which case it will be pretty useless in determining if there are totems still in the game. And maps are not a common item, you cant use maps in every game unless you've been collecting them for a very long time.
And detectives hunch can only be unlocked through a premium character or the shrine of secrets on the rare occasions its available. I'm not spending five bucks to get a survivor perk solely to counter one crutch killer perk.
And why is it when somebody mentions a problem in the game some body always brings up a perk to counter it. We only have 4 perk slots. It's impossible to counter everything. If I want to counter camping gotta use bt, if I want to counter tunneling gotta use ds, if i want to counter an overpowered spirit gotta use iron will, if i want to counter slugging gotta bring unbreakable...
small game only works for opened traps I've tested it so it would still be useful
detectives was in the shrine 2 weeks ago meaning you had the means to get it and if you didnt then it's your fault.
it's funny how you're okay with survivors not having to use perks to counter killers but killers have to use perks like ruin, pop or corrupt to slow down the game .
as a survivor you literally dont need perks , sure it helps but you can escape without them.
you also didnt mention the fact that you could use a map or learn how totems spawn. (which these two things can be done with any survivor and do not cost $5)
In the end you getting hit by noed is your fault, if it can glow it needs to go.

I honestly don’t know why it’s not enabled , survivor is fine on controller and I personally find it even easier to 360 and juke on an analog stick , and for killer the only killer I can see that will benefit is nurse, and she’s still extremely hard to learn due to her nature and the unnecessary base kit nerf. So, why isn’t m/k enabled ?
it would also benefit killers like huntress , oni, Billy,

Demogorgon's add-ons are better then Oni's and Nurse's at least.
what? demos are definitely not better than onis.

You, like many others, have failed to address the actual problem being discussed in this thread. This isn’t a problem that survivors should adjust to, rather it’s an inconsistent feature of the game’s perk system. No survivors shouldn’t have to bring an item for totems, and no they shouldn’t be put into a position where they have to expect a particular perk to be used by a killer. Case dismissed.
you could always run detectives hunch or small game , or learn the spawn points for totems . they usually spawn in separate areas and those areas have totem spawn points that you can memories to make checking for totems easier.
Also a killer shoudnt have to expect a survivor to use DS or adrenaline or even Dead hard .

There should be an indicator somewhere on the screen that let's survivors know how many totems remain on the map. The biggest issue I have especially as solo survivor is you don't know how many totems have been cleansed. Noed is suppose to punish survivors for not doing the second objective but how are survivors suppose to know if the objective has already been done? I'm not going to search around the entire map looking for a totem that might not even be there.

No the trap clipping is purposely left in, in many places, I’ve seen several mods and devs confirm it as well as players who also read confirmations of it and discussed it.
And once again, hit boxes are broken as hell so Dead Hard is needed to counter that, and since hit boxes will never be fixed, Dead Hard will stay as it is.
Also there is no skill of timing since lunges literally are the distance of a Dead Hard and some Killers like Freddy and T3 Myers have an even bigger lunge.
Dead Hard is also a perk that can only be used while injured, is an exhaustion perk, and is useless against instadowns. Even if this game’s many flaws were fixed Dead Hard should still stay as it is. Most perks in this game don’t rely on skill anyway.
also freddys lunge has been tested several times , it's the same distance as other killers. Myers t3 is the only one with a longer lunge besides oni while using his ability .

you're wrong about it purposely being left in , the traps next to the building on gas haven were patched awhile back and those traps were fully invisible.

adding on to what @toxicmegg said , ralph is a really good huntress too. I would watch him as well.
-
Why though? isnt the killers main objective to kill? why should they get punished for doing it fast?
They already get punished for killing survivors really early in the game (like all of them in one hook)
-
Honestly if they just decreases the charge time and the penalty for cancelling your chainsaw he would be in a much better place.

it took me awhile before I got good , if you need any tips I would really suggest watching otzdarva play . his youtube videos and streams are very helpful.

Maybe unhook them before struggle state next time and don't be such a chicken hiding in a corner of the map
there are certain times where it would be more beneficial to the team overall to let the survivor sit on the hook for a sec, especially if the killer is proxy camping.
One reason a lot of people will leave you on a hook for a sec is to finish a close gen, another reason one might not go and help you is because they are on death hook. you cant just say stop being such a chicken when there are dozens of reasons as to why your team is not instantly rushing to your hook. stop complaining and think about the whole team.

Agitation is in a healthy spot imo. it doesnt need a bff nor a nerf.

I say NERF WRAITH for sure! He’s nearly 100% invisible man. No heartbeat. That’s messed up. First time I played as wraith I was thinking no way is this fair. I’m running up on people and they have no idea, not to mention they can’t even run away because killers are, in my opinion WAAAAY too fast. They shouldn’t be able to keep up with survivors AND be invisible AND have no heartbeat AND deal with so small of a stun duration from pallets or anything else. If I stun you as a survivor it should be for a lengthy amount of time. The maps are too small and there’s too much work to do as survivors. 5 gens is a lot of work on these small maps. I’m not crying or complaining because I’m a “survivor main” I’m just telling the truth. Friday 13th has a bigger map, 1 killer still and SEVEN survivors and MULTIPLE ways to get out. So WHAT happened here in this game? Nonsense. Killers are too OP.

Maybe survivors should stop, wait in corners of map, and then start their objective when the killer is ready. Is that better? Would that sound more reasonable? Gen rushing is the stupidest term ever created in a game. Sorry, next time we will wait until killer says “go”.

So now you're assuming 2 people are using it now. And the speed boost is minimal. Its maybe a sprint burst equivalent. I didnt forget it, I ignored it.
And if you slug 2 people to go for the last, instead of hooking one of them first, is on you. Unless you are worried for the hatch, leaving 2 slugs isnt the smartest idea. Hook one, slug one, find one. The one on a gen will either get caught, try to save, therefore not finish the gen, or finish it, leaving you with a hook and ONE adrenaline use.
Let's go more hypothetical. What if the killer is using NOED? Speed is added and now the health state is irrelevant.
Or rancor? Bitter murmur? Now you know where they all are AND can insta down and mori one.
you would slug the last two to pressure the last gen otherwise you are straight out of luck and they finish the last gen. i can tell you dont play killer that often because you would know how devastating it is to have every survivor on death hook and lose all your momentum because of one perk without a counter. if iwould have hooked one the guy on the ground would have gotten up and would have been healed by his teammate. and they would escape. great job. you just safety pipped.(not a win in my eyes or to even others)
The difference between adrenaline and NOED is that noed is fully in the hands of survivors, they can prevent it before it even happens. you cant even prevent adrenaline. "stop the generators from being repaired" thats like saying " dont get hooked and you wont get tunneled".

@Carpemortum said:

Possible, yes, but they did survive until the endgame, and got one state from it. Unless you were camping them, theyd likely get away regardless. And if you ARE camping them, it takes one extra hit. Hardly impossible before they get out.
If that one health state, on one person, throws your ENTIRE GAME, you likely didnt have a good game anyway. With 1 or 2 alive, that one person probably cant heal and get to the door, when the other has just been flagged by a then going off. If 3 or 4 are alive when 5 gens are done, you've already failed, one person getting away from adrenaline isnt going to change that, and at that point in the game (4 gens done, 1 survivor on hook), you should likely be worrying about a different survivor ANYWAY.
And people ALREADY get rewarded for not doing any work. Hide and escape, hatch, using others as a distraction. Their BP and pip will reflect that.
Youre also forgetting that person will have a speed boost which will allow that survivor to make distance on the killer, then when they get hit they get another speed boost. and by the time you get to them their teammates are taking hits.
Also the devs have stated several times that the game isnt "over" when all gens are done. so you really didnt fail, especially if you are using an endgame build.
also what if you have 2 people slugged and youre going for the last guy on the last gen when suddenly he pops it and he gets a speed boost and the people on the ground get a health state and a speed boost?

Adrenaline screw the killers last second?
Or maybe it rewards a survivor who decides to finish the last gen instead of wasting time looking for a heal. Especially if theres one or more dead already.
5 gens get done, and they get one free health state. Oh noes.
What about a survivor coming off of a hook fully healed? they didnt finish the last gen, hell its even possible they didnt work on a gen the whole game.
-
I really enjoyed playing against old nurse, going against her because you couldnt loop her. instead you had to try and juke her which was really pleasing and kept the game exciting. I still dont understand why they had to change more than just her addons.
My favorite killer to go against now would probably have to be huntress, having to dodge hatchets and knowing when to throw a pallet down and vault a window at the right time without getting hit keeps the game fun.

Hes just an awful, awful cheap killer. The go-to killer for campers.
I'm done. I gave you multiple reasons why he doesnt need a nerf. instead of saying you were overreacting you keep making excuses. have a good day.

@ClickyClicky said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1040914#Comment_1040914
And even ghostface players know his reveal mechanic is completely busted and not working as intended.
that's not a problem with players Its the game itself, instead of calling for a nerf call for them to work on the mechanic. because I can tell you after playing ghost face for several hours stalking doesnt always work .
-dedicated servers makes leaning impossible sometimes
- you cant stalk through corn but survivors can break you out of corn (and behind cover)
-you can get broken out of stealth even from behind cover.
Also a lot of survivors dont know how to break him out of stealth, you have to make sure he is directly in the middle of your screen. make sure your character is not in the way at all.
so in the end players are not abusing ghost face like survivors are abusing DS. it's the devs who messed up with the reveal mechanic. so instead of asking for nerfs ask for them to look at it .
-
is this all you post? bait

Also lol you’ve done nothing but complain about DS because it’s “unfun” to you.
false. I complained about DS being abused. even the devs have stated that its not being used as intended .
Also there are several people who dont mind playing against ghost face myself includer (rank 3 survivor and rank 1 killer)

Hillbilly because he has too many strengths with little downsides and Ghostface because he’s hands down the worst killer BHVR has ever created. While not specifically OP he just sucks so much fun out of the game I’d rather drink acid than play against him.
so because hes "unfun"to you he should get nerfed?

Sucks eh?
once again there are things in the game that help you in countering it and finding totems .

I would suggest watching videos on youtube of how to loop (how to run from a killer basically) . there are some pretty powerful areas on maps that you can run around for awhile . doing this will buy your teammates some time to do gens .
