Detective’s Hunch is such a great and extremely underrated perk. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in a lobby unless I’m the one using it. Tapp himself is a rare sight to see, so maybe a lot of people don’t even have it unlocked yet? 🤨
It's in my main build and usually in every build I run. The information from it is fantastic.

By default, the interaction button (Healing, Victor, Snapping, Repairing, Cleansing, Searching, etc) is M1, and the Vaulting and Dropping buttons by default is space.
Even when I stick my controller in, I can split them apart:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/O6JSC280NKAR/image.png
(I use a PS4 controller so RB is R1, RT is R2, A is X, B is Circle, and X is Y)
Not really important, but that's an Xbox controller.

It's exactly the nerf I expected.

Isn't it true for this case? My girl Rin has more Kill Rate than Nurse and you feel like a total chad playing like her. While playing Nurse i just get stressed af and has a chance that the game cucks her more with bugs that will never be fixed.
By that logic Freddy is the best killer in the game. Nurse will always be the best killer in the game. Nobody can touch her potential. If we're looking at who gives the most reward for the least effort Spirit beats Nurse, but the highest potential is always Nurse.

And that's why I love the DS change because now if they go to a corner and self-care they get punished for it , DS doesn't deactivate if someone else is healing you until you are fully healed and if you're fresh off hook self-care probably isn't the best idea anyway.
They're called medkits my guy. You've moved off and think you're good. Start healing and a stealth killer hits you out of nowhere.
At the topic. I agree, it should be changed to deactivate on full heal.

Basically advertising the game. That's about it.

It's an incredibly lazy strategy.
In terms of chases, it's almost no different from chasing multiple survivors. The main difference is that you're starting a chase with someone who's already injured. Regardless, "lazy" is just another word for "optimal", at least in this situation. Good players trying to win make optimal plays.
I can't really agree. If you need to resort to those tactics you aren't good.
I'm not referring to you specifically when I say you.

if the Killer wants to tunnel me, they are objectively bad and only want to make the game as quick and insufferable for me as a Survivor.
Your opponent is not bad for winning with a certain strategy. Quite the opposite, in fact. Can you name one game where winning makes you worse at the game than the guy who lost?
It's an incredibly lazy strategy. Like a 4 man swf with 4 BnP. They're almost certainly going to win, but whether they are better at the game is debatable at best.

tunneling is the same as it has always beem
new DS stops tunneling the same way old DS did.
"
you just can't ######### abuse it now by gen tapping and healing mid ######### chase and baiting on totems.
Less people are running DS. Which means less games with an obsession. Which means killers joyfully tunnel because there's nothing to stop them. It's not hard to follow.
-
Nothing. There's too much garbage clogging up blood webs already.
-
She's not that bad honestly. You either get the baby Nurse who is no danger to you, or a solid Nurse. If it's the solid Nurse I enjoy those games because it's fun to try to beat them.

There has been more than enough chance. Yui could have been Indian, My not Felix? etc etc
Because it's not a diversity check list? Understand i have no issue with them including people of every background. I'd just like it to make sense and happen organically rather than feeling like a mark on a check list.

Ah yet another thread bitching about Dead Hard.

Inner Strength is my favorite healing perk. I always cleanse totems so it's just extra value for me.

In all their complaints about bloodlust and specific killers and add ons this is one fact the survivors seem to gloss over
I don't think anybody seriously doesn't think those maps are awful.
As for the original topic, yeah that list about covers it. I can't really disagree that just running is boring, but in some cases what else can you do? So many of the maps have giant dead zones weak pallets it's your only option. Add to that the killers whose power is countering loops why would I actively play into their power?
-
The conventional wisdom is around level 40 depending on how lucky you are with the blood webs.
-
Go watch Bronx. He's a Demo main and does very well with him.
-
I'm left to wonder if console players are so bad why does the PC master race leave crossplay on?
-
How are you going to get the game to tell it was the survivor trying to take a protection hit? I don't think that's possible.

Most of the items are trash without add-ons, except purple flashlight, purple/red key, and maybe medkits.
There was this whole debate awhile back about killers being able to get their add-ons much more easily and make more BP, so therefore they lose add-ons.
Nah, the medkits are fine. Commodious is still okay, the rest is pretty meh though.
-
Common, Trapper sure, but how is Hag going to carry a gen. So unrealistic. I swear you aren't even trying.

@AChaoticKiller said:
If keys just took time to open hatch and fairly alerted the killer they would be fine.
One issue with key's is that they simply have no counters against smart survivors as smart survivors usually last second switch to keys and drop them in an easy to find place. Tunneling also doesn't get rid of the key as other survivors can still use it nor does franklins since you can drop the key to avoid it being affected by franklins.
Because of the above I hope that when they do rework key's they also lock survivors loadouts at like 30s left on the timer so if a key is brought the killer can at least try to destroy it with franklins.
Why should the killer get an alert if they are opening the hatch? Having it take time to open would make sense. An alert wouldn't.

I've been assured standing still is a mind game.

I feel this mentality is BHVRs fault. Survivor's are used to getting what they want because they are the majority. It's not just killer's and their add ons that cause people to quit. I've had people rage quit because they were the first one to be found. I think we need a penalty for giving up on your first hook. Put in some requirement:
- If your on your first hook, you struggle to kobe and fail, you do not even bother to struggle then you get a dc penalty.
- If you were on the hook for a good amount of time and you struggled, no penalty. The killer could have been camping or your team just did not attempt the save.
- If your killed within the first 4 mins of a match, dc penalty. You either suck or you gave up.
- If your the last 2 people left in a match no penalty. I've gone an entire match without being hooked. It was down to me and one other teammate. I got caught. The killer was doing well so all gens weren't complete. I gave up on the hook so my teammate could find the hatch.
Uhh no? You want to DC penalty everyone who gets downed and Bubba face camped?

I never bring anything but a brown medkit so im not losing much.
I drop my item when killer lets me go. Like went against a huntress and 3 of my team hatched out with a key. She found hatch first but let me open the gate and escape. I dropped the toolbox i found in a chest to say thanks.
I could have tbagged but i didn't want her to think i was mocking her or being toxic.
I've found dropping once and doing a little bow works to convey thanks as well.

When DS gets nerfed to be a true anti tunnel, Unbreakable probably won't be as powerful. With the DS change, unless you are actually tunneling, there will probably be less slugging. So Unbreakable might not see much use. Unless the killer is running a slugging build.
I doubt it. Slugging is still a powerful in general. It might see a drop, but I don't expect it will be much.

Plague = Vommy Mommy or Pukettess
Huntress = Bunny Mom
Ghostface = Ghosty Boi or Tunnel Face depending on how they play.
Pyramid Head = Pointy Head

I think I earned a kill when I down a survivor FIVE times and only have two hooks after a BT, DS and wiggle free from of body blocking. Are you one of the survivors who wonder why killers run NOED?
I'm the survivor who gets rid of all the totems so they don't deal with Noed.

But frankly, I think my viewpoint is the more pragmatic on.
Probably. One can dream though.

Yeah. It sucks, but yeah. A lot of people just don't feel like they even have a chance of winning any other way and others think that kill=win. Which, I guess good for them, imagine how amazing it would be to facecamp skemkne to death and genuinely think you accomplished something.
It's sad that dbd is in such a state where killers feel like they have to play dirty in order to match survivors.
That's because alot of killers suck at the game. Of course so do alot of survivors. In an ideal universe everyone would just play a chill game and not worry about winning and just try to have fun.

She definitely is harder to play than most killers. I worded it poorly I guess.
I meant it as in I dislike how people justify all the mediocre Nurses that miss a million blinks but make up for that by team-slugging at 5 gens until all 4 survivors are finally on the ground using this exact reasoning.
Ah, fair enough.

I'm not seeing the difference.
Both are examples of Survivors failing to reach a timer.
Egc there's no reason they can't leave, other than blood warden. The other is at least partially outside of their control. The killer didn't actually kill them, so they don't deserve the kill.
-
@Yamaoka said:
I think most people like or respect Nurse because she's "hArD tO pLaY" but I despise her more than any other killer in the game. Close 2nd is Spirit.
She gets to tunnel for free (I know how funny this sounds due to my current profile picture but even Pyramid Head has to do something to get the tunnel. He has to torment you and get to the cage before you get saved allowing you to hide) as the distance you get from DS is worthless against her.
Pallets and windows are worthless as well and if the map is relatively open you can't even break line of sight quick enough so at that point your entire input as a survivor is (nearly) worthless unless the Nurse player is a complete beginner.
She can pressure gens, she can end chases quickly, she can tunnel for free, she can slug everyone even if it's a mediocre Nurse player as it's nearly impossible to recover from a slugging Nurse once she gets the ball rolling due to the fact she can keep slugging people and create distance between them at the same time making it near impossible to get someone up before she downs someone else and returns to said slug. Most of those slugging Nurses run Sloppy Butcher as well further contributing to that playstyle.
Due to the distance she creates between the slugged survivors she can also chase the next survivor and miss her blinks numerous times and still win which is why I don't accept the "bUt ShE tAkEs SkiLl" argument.
Obviously that's just my opinion so don't feel personally attacked if you main Nurse. It's just 1 opinion afterall.
I mean, she is hard to play. At least for me trying to learn her and understand why my blinks get cucked for no reason.

Your wrong then.
Noed decreases the time it takes to kill someone via one health state, adrenaline gives you an extra health state.
Both give a speed boost.
Both have no activation requirements other than exit gates powered.
Adrenaline useless against instadowns, noed useless against injured as it only takes one hit anyway.
See, are equivalent.
Not hatch
Noed Isn't useless against injured survivors, the speed boost still helps alot. Also since Adrenaline is a reward for completing the gens and Noed is a catch up perk I don't think they are equivalent.
-
No. If for nothing other reason than it's too easy to die from a frame drop.

This already happens during the end game collapse once a door is opened. How is a time limit for the match itself any different?
Because if the end game collapse has started and the survivors fail to make it out they earned their death. A timer would award a killer a 4k if they can just stall long enough. 3 gen impossible skill checks doc would be basically an automatic 4k.
