Honestly just message them pregame asking for their help. I've found they're usually more than happy to help you out. It helps with the good will if you burn a bps.

I've always steered clear of David because I find his grunts irritating af. It pains me to play him--the only survivor I feel that way for.
If I was a content creator, I'd 100% make a video playing David titled "If I get injured, the video ends."
Yun-Jin's struggle sounds are up there.
-
I don't remember ever seeing him that much. He's loud asf so that may be a factor.

What's the beef with dredge just put of curiosity?
I do think there should be a way to end darkness early for survivors. It's a bit overly long
I don't like it's esthetic but Nightfall is the worst. I can't see a thing and can't hear anything because of that godawful wailing.
Also it attacked Maurice which is unforgivable.

As for the topic I move we delete Dredge first. We then can turn our attention to other matters.

To be fair, most survivors I face hate 3/4 of the Killer roster so I honestly stopped caring what people like facing or don’t. They don’t care about your fun, don’t care about theirs. Try not be an a**hole and play fair and that all the matters, imo.
Tbf alot of the killer roster suck to face. My personal number one is Dredge. ######### that blob forever.

You do you. Just don't expect anyone to be happy to see her.
-
You're allowed to be wrong.
-
Sadly probably not. Honestly they could just add them for a couple of weeks post anniversary mid chapter. The gens and hooks looked cool and a bp event is always nice.
-
I mean it depends on what you mean by worth it. I wouldn't expect alot of value from it but it could be fun.

I want to do that now. Make a topic then reply to myself and see how long it is before someone notices.

Provided you have a decent headset and decent hearing, she's easily your best bet for a killer that's easy to use while being strong.

I thought its longer than that now since any self heal takes 24 charges now? And selfcare makes you heal at 35% slower.
I believe the extra time only effects heals with medkits.

It's a shame that survivors feel that way when they are the first one down and DC before the blood is wiped off the killer's weapon.
I wasn't referring to the people that do that.

IMO, killers have always camped and proxed at the same rate. The real problem with the game is the playerbase giving up or disconnecting in match. So many matches are winnable but are loss due to one survivor throwing a tantrum.
There has definitely been a rise in the hard tunneling. The question becomes even if the game might be winnable is it worth the effort. Most of the time it isn't.
-
You can't actually against something that can level the playing field for hard of hearing people. I can't hear very well. It's part of what holds me back as killer. If anything there should be more things like this to help killers as well.
-
@Mr_K said:
Survivors: Selfcare takes longer. Can no longer use Boons to heal yourself.
Killers: All gen regression perks have been gutted like selfcare.
Now what has really changed? Before Boons did you run selfcare? Because selfcare sucked even then. Face that survivors crutched on easy heals for awhile now and you're back to pre-boon gameplay. Same goes for killers btw. Many killers crutch on gen regression. Now they have nothing but Pop which is weaker than pre-boon Pop.
So what's the issue? The new killers? Do you really see them that often? See your teammates perks? Ha, I imagine lobby dodging on the survivor side to increase. Not running the meta or some random perks? Dodge, who wants to play with that loser. In the end of the day a survivor with good perks can still play poorly. BHVR can't program in a better person.
CoH nerf wasn't that big of a deal ultimately. Making medkits take 24 seconds and nerfing every addon is what really hurt. Add to this killers proxy camping and tunneling even hard because "it's the only way to win" and it's not hard to see why solo-queue got worse.
-
Demo is in a decent spot though. Solid B tier.

@Seraphor said:
This can't be serious.
We all knew that as soon as DH got buried the other exhaustion perks were next.
-
It's difficult to say without knowing more. For instance what killer do you main or need advice for? Eruption is still decent. Jolt is good for basically every M1 killer. Corrupt is still solid early game slow down. Deadlock is good passive slowdown.
There are tons of options depending on who/how you are playing. Another approach is to focus on chase perks to end chases asap.
-
@Sava18 said:
I mean if you haven't preformed a conspicuous action for 60 seconds then your aura should be straight up revealed. I really don't think there's a valid argument for why that shouldn't exist. Crows can be easily circumvented. Imagine if the killer could stand still and all gens would be blocked during that time.
That would be easy to dodge. Tap a gen and walk away. You could tap cleanse a totem indefinitely.

Its not 2 seconds. Its much higher. Stack that with other gen perks, plus a toolbox and a BNP makes a difference. All of those are factors. Not including Great skillcheck bonuses. May not be much, but they do add up.
Of course it gets insane when you start stacking everything. By itself PtS isn't nearly as strong as people believe.

Well I disagree, Stealth is the best way of playing for me, it makes DBD like an actual horror game.
I didn't say it was a bad way to play. Most killer players hate it though.

I don't know where you're getting 2.6 from. Base repair speed for 2 survivors is 52.94 seconds and 46.04 seconds with Prove.
You are correct, I had a brain fart when I did the math. 7 seconds is still quite minor.

Ryz said he is indeed a Survivor main, and it was previsible since no Killer main would spit on Survivors that fear you and cower in terror.
I did miss that then. However you are absolutely wrong. Killers hate stealth plays. Especially if most of the survivors play that way. It's boring to them and makes it hard on the players that don't want to tunnel.

Definitely a Prove in there. And yeah, having everyone be solid enough in chase allowed them to be patient on the slug pick ups. Especially if you know the killer isn't going to hook. No real urgency to get them up if the killer isn't downing quickly.

I guarantee it. He didn't really mention their perks. Just their items.
You realize the actual time saved with PtS is pretty small right? It's literally 2.61 seconds faster.

they may not be perfect but i always bring my 'comfort' green toolbox with brown addons into every match with me lol, that lil bit of extra gen progress gives me the strength i need to carry on
I mean if your green toolbox is a Commodious and you use Scraps with the Clean Rag it's a very solid toolbox.
-
Basically it's a way of saying you got me. Kill me or not. Whichever you prefer.
The other scenario is at the gate you drop your item as a sorry for the rough game you had. Or another way of saying gg.

This time it is, the hospital is the best map in the game, destroying Third Seal shouldn't have been hard.
Are you high? Indoor maps are the hardest ones to find totems on.
-
He's not bad to play. It's facing him that sucks.
-
Because there's only so much they can finish for each update. That said I'd like to see it be made a higher priority. If each mid chapter and chapter release had a few under used perks buffed each time that would be great.
-
It does seem that people are getting worse and worse about making the game as miserable as possible.
-
@Wilx said:
What's actually wrong with the map(s)? I've never had a problem with them personally.
Most killers struggle due to the size. Fractured Cowshed is infamous because of it's ridiculous setups.
As for the Op's question, the maps aren't bugged. If we're just banning things people don't like I'd like to submit my list.

To each their own but I find him boring to face.

Community: OMG BLIGHT OP U SEE IT????? NO WAY IT IS POSSIBLE GAME IS SO KILLER SIDED((((((99(((99(
No one really thinks that with hard tunneling on 5 generators with 4 slowdowns, any good killer will win, perhaps, 980 games out of 1000 even with Trapper?
And it's not about how tunneling is OP, it's about how 80% of the players are absolutely terrible at this game. That's exactly what he said on Twitter btw.
How are they going to attack people's lack of skill when they stack 4 slow down perks and tunnel as Blight. Not saying they should be bullied but they seem like a total douchebag.

Nobody wants to play against this killer. Every match people just DC or kill themselves on hook, and honestly, who can blame them?,who would wanna spend 45min to an hour on a boring match were the killer just holds three gend all game?, even when the knight came out he was still tolerable and you could still have fun matches. But SM is just a shocking display of bad killer design, to the point I think just removing her and remake her could positive for the game in general.
Is not even the killer's fault that matches are boring, I mean, what else can they do with this boring lame killer other than hold a 3 gen? She is so poorly design she is good for nothing else.
I disagree that it isn't the killers fault. They chose to play her. They chose to employ a three gen strat. Everything that makes those games a nightmare are down to the killer players choices.

It can be both.

Agree with terrible map and killer. But bad survivor perks? Fogwise is amazing for a solo q player like me, and I think Potential Energyn is pretty good too. Super useful for helping to break 3-gens.
Fogwise is nice but hardly game changing.

exactly my point arguably maybe a third of the roster...now which ones do you use and can consistently get 3ks?
oni/twins are sluggers
blight/huntress/spirit require high level skill and are map dependent for the best results
hag not so much with this update
plague only if the team cleanses(any large map/pallet dense map turns her into an m1 killer without the cleanses)
wesker/pyramid head i dont play so concede on those two
A third of the killers being A tier or higher proves my point. There are lots of solid choices. I didn't even touch on B tier which will still do well the majority of the time.
As a side note Hag was definitely buffed by this update. Her traps can't be removed mid chase and hit and run is much more viable now.

please name which killers are viable at higher mmr levels ...once i reached gold going into iri the only ones that were viable without depips were the s tier killers dredge and skull merchant for myself
lower to mid mmr sure plague/legion/doc/wraith are fun but then not so much
Nurse. Blight. Spirit. Wesker. Plague. Huntress. Oni. Hag. Twins. Artist. Pyramid Head. All of them are A tier or higher.

There were balance changes for both sides in this most recent update. That said, this really isn't a fair comparison. You're trying to link balance changes for one side to something completely unrelated on the other. You could apply the same logic to absolutely anything to create a constantly moving goalpost that we can never possibly reach. In the end, there's only so much time in between updates for us to make changes. If we waited until we changed everything we could ever want at once, you would be waiting multiple years before seeing any changes at all. That's simply not an option.
If you feel like The Blight is too strong, you can always say that. Give a couple reasons why you think that's the case and it'll stand on its own. But bringing up something completely unrelated doesn't help your case.
While most of us understand there's only so much that can be done for any given patch, the priority list seems questionable.
