As others have said, adding lithe will help. I've yet to try the combo myself, but I absolutely love lithe and look forward to trying out the others with it.
-
Probably pig. She starts slow for me but once I have them scared it's great.
-
Well I'd say I don't, but that isn't allowed apparently.
-
I suppose it depends on how you define a crutch perk. Technically every perk is a crutch. That said:
Killer: Noed is the only crutch perk to me really. I suppose I could argue rancor as well. But rancor is so limited I'm not sure I'd make that leap.
Survivors: Old Ds and arguably adrenaline are about it to me really. I know people have argued exhaustion perks to be crutches but I see them as strategy the same as most killer perks.
I guess I'd have to say survivors then.
-
Maybe it could be a speed boost based on the number of gens left. Like for each completed gen the killer gets a 1% speed increase. That way the killer gets slowly more powerful and is at their peak of power at the end game.
-
Agreed. I always feel like I'm going to tear the controller apart when I wiggle.
-
Slower repair while injured as a base effect would be an interesting idea. I would love for them to try it in the next ptb and see how it goes.
-
I think Tapp mains are like bigfoot. There's been reported sightings, but no hard evidence that they exist.
-
I'd say they lose it once they enter chase. That'd allow for more surprise hits and might keep overall chase times down a bit without being op.
-
I think a direct buff like that would be too much. I think a perk that did it might be okay though.
-
@Master No, I say that using an item is looking for an easier match. Which is fine. Because why even bother having items if you can't use them? The same goes for killer addons and offerings. Both sides are trying to make the match easier for themselves. Dodging because you see a toolbox or dcing because you don't like what a killer brought is the problem.
-
@Maximus7My point is neither side can complain about what the other is bringing without being hypocritical. Both sides have broken things. But dodging or dcing because you suspect they're running them is just cowardly. Sometimes you'll get wrecked because of some op crap. Just play the game, shake of the bad game and move on when it's done.
-
I see people pointing out that survivors bringing tool boxes, and the like are looking for an easier game, and the irony of them accusing killers of dodging for an easier game. To this I say it's the same as a killer bringing addons. Should I dodge every lobby where I suspect the killer is running strong addons or a mori? Or should I just suck it up and play the damn game? I think just playing the damn game is the better option for both sides. That includes the little bitches that DC all the time.
-
@pemberley Why would they leave when streamers are used? They'll get double blood points too. My first match with pig, I used a pudding and somebody used a streamer and an envelope. Those end game blood points were amazing.
-
@Chi To be fair to the wraith, their internet might be good. It might be they live too far away from you to establish a solid connection.
-
I think a cool down would make it more viable.
-
#########...the title alone
-
The easiest thing would be neither side has access to any information until end of the trial.
-
Had a pig give me the hatch after I'd been downed nowhere near it. There were two DC's so I think they felt bad for me.
-
I wish it worked that way. Unfortunately it would make dead hard useless.
-
I love lithe personally.
-
I've never done that, but I feel your pain with daily rituals. I had one as Freddy last night. All I needed was two sacrifices. Usually I have no trouble with Freddy getting at least 2 kills. It took me 8 games. Between my game being bugged and all the Cold Wind Farms maps it was, well a nightmare.
-
If I think it's viable to get them off I'll go for it. If not I'll rush the gens. Best way to discourage camping is make them depip.
-
I thought I was just imagining that there seemed to be a ton of pallets lately.
-
I assume they'd wait for 10 minutes. Close out the search and try again. And have been doing this for 2 hours.
-
Solo is painful alot of the time because your teammates are terrible. I'm pretty bad at the game. So when I'm anchoring a team were in trouble. Earlier I played a single game as survivor. I had a daily to do. Everyone was higher rank then me with full perk loadouts. I am using a single perk Tapp. They got demolished. I performed 6 unhooks. Finished two gens and escaped through the hatch. I might have gotten more gens but as soon as I unhook somebody the next person went down. To be fair to my team it was a rank 2 killer but still it was ridiculous.
-
@nunadventures Yeah mine was actually in game. It looked like that but alot worse. Every time I'd sleep a survivor they'd disappear.
-
I should point out I don't have a problem with noed. I find it annoying. But it is what it is. I don't use it because I feel like if it's come into play I've not done my job.
@Wolf74 Noed Gives the killer extra kills they wouldn't have gotten. So it does boost bad killers. That's not to say good killers don't also use it. But bad killers are artificially boosted by it.
@thirdsixteenth They are playing at a deficit. But how often have you encountered a really good killer using noed vs. a bad one?
-
Noed does generally boost bad killers. Just as ds boosted bad survivors.
-
@Bongbingbing Exactly. I don't need a bunch of flashlight addons if I'm not going to use flashlights.
@drunky26 I only have suggested this to relieve the grind. If there were an actual point to the grind I wouldn't object.
-
I'd rather killers be able to keep addons. Maybe they keep one if they pip and the second if they double pip?
-
I just was watching Puppers stream a bit ago where this exact thing happened. He found a purple key. Found the hatch. Him and the other person escaped. Killer instantly left after.
-
Lithe
Kindred
Empathy
Self Care
-
I'd say neither. Under perfect conditions it would be a 2k.
-
Why is it anytime a person raises a concern on this forum there's always at least one ######### who thinks they need to mock them for it? Seriously every damn time. It's always "blah blah blah git gud". No wonder this community is labeled as toxic.
-
I thought it seemed a bit harsh as well. Maybe they could just add more pips required to rank up.
-
I know it's not a lot of extra time. I don't think a counter will suddenly get people to cleanse totems though. Also given how momentum driven this game can be it'd be hard to say what the impact of people actually cleansing totems would be.
-
I don't think noed would be made useless by a totem counter. In the worst case it doesn't activate and you bought extra time as a killer.
-
I personally don't think the audio cue for dull totems is unreasonable. As for noed I don't care for it but don't really have a problem with it.
As a compromise maybe make noed give you instadown only on survivors you've already hooked. While adrenaline gives the heal to only one person while keeping the speed burst for all. This might put both of them in a fair spot.
-
I've noticed it lately as well. Not sure if it's a bug or latency. I had a game recently where my character had the option to wiggle while not on the killers shoulder. I couldn't properly turn unless running. This makes me lean towards a bug rather then latency.
-
I do cleanse the ones I find. But if the rest of your team doesn't noed can still bite you.
-
The only problem I see is it can boost bad killers. I don't particularly like it, but I don't think it needs changed either. I wouldn't mind having a totem counter though.
-
Maybe the changes to the ranking system? I know I've found it frustrating. Killers trying to rank up while survivors feel like they can't so the don't try. I'm not sure if that's the case but I've noticed the dc's and campy killers have been going up lately.
-
I think because it's really hard to stealth around him. The 7 seconds gives you a lot of time to get to safety, but you will have a hard time evading him. Add in if he does lose you he can find you again easily and he can be annoying to face.
-
Campy hags are annoying. I get placing a couple of traps, but some just go absolutely nuts placing them near the hook.
-
Kinda hard to cleanse one's you don't see.
-
@NathanExplosion You shouldn't be. Nor should survivors be punished for doing their job too fast.
-
The hatch is fine. It makes sense from a lore perspective. It does need a rework to make it a bit more interactive and fair to the killer.
-
@Blueberry Sorry, I was referring to fat shaming in general not your comments specifically. But also trying to explain why I have an issue with it.
