Bottles should share separate ammo. Reloading will reload both
Oh yeah, I meant, reloading should reload both, but then giving separate ammo. I don't think it would be op.

Awesome. Also, please buff urban evasion and make it 10% faster.

Make the power button (CTRL for pc, LB for Xbox, L1 for Ps4) throw the piss bottle. But how would he reload?

No that was a reply to someone else and I forgot to quote the message.
I don’t think nurse needs any major overhauls but I agree with your original post.
sorry, I was already writing the answer while you edited.

I would be super happy if all that was done was you can see scratch marks during frenzy and basic attacks no longer deplete power gauge. Both of those would be a huge game changer
yeah, if at least some of those got to live I would be pleased.

The only killer that I think is even somewhat add on reliant right now is Ghostface and maybe Nemeis before Marvin's Blood (Is that the name?) was nerfed . Everyone else can perform relatively fine without add ons as long as the player is good.
This includes Spirit, who is the third best killer in the game and needs one of her red add ons nerfed.
Also trapper, myers, wraith, trickster, doctor, clown, billy, pig... legion would be too if all of his addons weren't so weak.

@sizzlingmario4 said:
Perhaps, but the thing is, Nurse existing already makes it difficult to balance perks because of how they might perform on her.
If you buffed I’m All Ears to 12 seconds, would it be too strong on myers? Nah. Would it be too strong on nurse? Yeah, probably.
edit: replying to @fulltonon , forgot to quote sry
So what do you mean? Does the nurse need a deeper rework? So the other killers can be properly balanced...
-
@fulltonon said:
since she can't hit anything without her blink, I would say no.
I think removing entire capability to utilize specific kind of perks just because is not very good thing.
Yeah, but they already started reworking several perks to scratch the basic attack condition, like Eruption, Remember Me and Blood Favour. Jolt is one they didn't touch yet, but it would be nice if they would, since other slowdown perks are usually preferred instead of it and other killers could benefit from it. It would most affect the exposed status effect, which is something the nurse definetely doesn't need.
-
It's not about criticizing "holding W", it's about how effective this can be in certain maps, against certain killers.
-
@theblimp said:
boons just need to be able to be destroyed permanently instead of the worthless snuff mechanic.
Yeah, they could make it "press the button to snuff/hold for breaking" (similar to clown pressing to switch or holding to reload), then give an animation equivalent to kicking a gen .
-
But seriously, after EGC has started, the killer should be able to just press "Continue" and get to the next match.
-
They are incredible needy and require your attention. They can never leave in the cold of the fog without saying a last goodbye to the killer.

Nurse doesn't need a buff, the only thing i would change is getting rid of her light burn. That thing is crippling if a survivor knows how to do it, it's a super rare occurance someone try's it so it's kind of pointless to exist as well, but it's damn panic inducing when it happens.
As for eveything else (outside maybe some pointless add-ons), Nurse is pretty much fine, she shouldn't be reworked, nerfed or changed because there are player's who know how to use her and other player's don't try changing how they play to avoid her. There's also enough new stuff that survivor's can use to counter her.
Last note, your probably going to see more nurse's than sadako (besides the obvious adept achievment trys once reset happens), but more because Nurse player's are getting that rust off.
It's very hard to lightburn a nurse successfully. But lightburn on Wraith must definitely go.

She's definitely not balanced considered how bad are the vast majority of the other killers! She requires the survivors to act as a team, while the other killers struggle to go against ONE survivor. That's what DBD became when you play with weaker killers, 1x1, because they can't compete with 4 survivors.
The only thing that makes her unfair is the range and recharge addons, she do not need them.
Yeah, I don't understand how they nerf Marvin's Blood, brown twins addons and others just because they were "over used" and yet nurse still has her recharge addons which 99.9% of nurse mains use in every match. She indeed doesn't need them. In fact, I wouldn't oppose making her base speed slightly faster if she had longer recharge and no recharge addons.
-
I think DS could be buffed and nerfed at same time. Remove the deactivation conditions, or at least allow unhook and heal actions, but make it so DS can't be used if you are catch by a grab, so you can't just easily go into lockers to force DS. Add 30s to the timer if you go down while DS active, except if EGC has started. When EGC starts (or if already started), DS timer loses 40s.
-
Actually, making DS 45" would be a reasonable nerf if they didn't put all those conditions to use it.

I thought about her phasing through stuff and although that'll be fun and different than other killers I see a scenario where players are complaining Shes op
I mean, she would have to go through an animation and de-manifest. People will always complain. There are already people complaining she can mori without a hook.

From the SBMM perspective you are playing 4 simultaneous 1v1 games. If you kill 1 survivor your rating goes up, but unless the other survivors DC (probably) or get the hatch your rating will go up or down for the other survivors too.
2 kills does not guarantee your MMR stays the same as higher MMR survivors that get killed and lower MMR survivors that escape affect your MMR by a greater degree compared to those that are around your level.
This is why current MMR is dumb, as it doesn't consider the team as a whole, while still allowing people of various MMR ranges playing together.
The way I see they have 2 reasonable choices:
1 - Keep the current MMR system, but only strictly allow people with the same MMR range to ever play together
2 - Apply a MMR avg to the whole survivors team. Subtract the number of escapes from the number of kills and multiply it the by the team's MMR to increase/decrease the killer's MMR (those numbers can be normalized by adding a multiplier/making them a fraction). Number of kills/escapes should also affect every survivor in the match, the MMR you gain in a match being 50% related to you surviving and 50% related to how many teammates survived.

While I agree, people have recently been advocating that REGULAR gen skill checks should function as Overcharge currently does because they feel it is unfair to have coincidentally triggered a skill check the moment they are letting go of the gen.
As for Overcharge...it absolutely should force the person to finish the check on the gen. Seems a lot more balanced than Meg Sprint Bursting across the map while still hitting the skill check. It would be a nice QoL change.
The problem with regular skill checks could be addressed by giving the sound alert a little bit earlier, like 100 ms or so, so they don't let go or just cancel the skill check if they let go right at the beginning, or a combination of both. But letting go after a skill check has started should definitely explode the gen, specially with overcharge, since it's already a weak perk.

honestly shes pretty bad. she has nearly 0 chase potential and on top of that her teleports are limited. her chases are weak, and if you hit someone and teleport that tv will be cut off and you cannot teleport back there for a limited time which forces you to walk over. in my opinion she needs more buffs, and these are my suggestions.
- make it so she speeds up a bit when demanifested or gain a speed boost when she manifests. (This will help her more in chases)
- make it so she does not cut off her tvs when teleporting (this will require survivors to actually make a choice "do I want to stop her from teleporting here or keep letting her teleport?")
- make it so it takes longer to insert a tape. (Right now, you can be condemned and insert the tape even after being hit and still get it. this will stop that)
- (This is just an idea and DOESNT NEED TO BE ADDED TO HER) what if you make it so she cannot be stunned by a pallet while demanifested? the pallet will still stop her on the other side but will not stun her
- I think they didn't do it so she's not much Wraith-like. But slight faster speed while demanifested would be nice.
- At least the cooldown could be shorter.
- Yeah, it could be a feel seconds. At least the duration of breaking a pallet.
- You know what would be fun and different from all killers? If she could phase through dropped pallets and walls, but at slower speed, say like the duration of a normal killer vaulting a window (she still must manifest after). But I would keep the pallet stunning.
-
I think it is a mistake to establish that all boon related perks must have the same radius, cause the effects are so different and the radius impact a lot. Like exponential is never used because its radius is not enough, but CoH would still be used even with half of its radius and it's too strong in current state (no, the speed debuff wasn't enough).
-
Yeah, it's so stupid that you can hit a skill check while off the gen...
-
They're either op or give no value. I don't like the design of boons, it was better when they didn't exist.
-
I respectfully disagreee. Every exhaustion perk in the game is supposed to provide some distance, and the distance of DH is much less significant than the other ones. But the invincibility on demand messes with so many killers' powers, causes validation issues, it's buggy and it would be so easier to just be removed, from a technical POV. DH only for distance would be a fair and simple exhaustion perk, and it would remove the cheap dash in the killer's direction to either correct a mistake or just because it's 100% safe against powers or an ongoing lunge in its current state. Without the i-frames, the dash can still be used to dodge hits or projectiles, but the user must be aware to choose the correct direction and not just panic 'E' to safety. For instance, you could still dodge a huntress' hatchet, but you need to dash away from its trajectory.
-
I think the most reasonable would be to ask for the opposite so the killer don't see survivors' names. Seeing a killer would be would be problematic, what if they're streaming, then you can see their entire build and prepare for that.
-
Both iridescents are fine. For Tombstone Piece, I would make that only fully stalked survivors could be moried.
-
You know what would be fun? If it could activate when any gate switch is more than 75%/85%/90% open (not sure about the percentage). That would prevent the 99' stategy and require better timing for opening gates (do you 99 and risk BW or leave 75 and wait until no one is down to open the rest). But in this case I would make visible that the exits are locked from outside the exit area.

Then...there would be absolutely no need for unbreakable, tenacity does more things than unbreakable, give tenacity the one thing unbreakable had over it and BAM, unbreakable now a F tier perk
Maybe they would use unbreakable and tenacity to pick themselves up twice lol

I love trail of torment on twins especially paired with opression. but i dont want it to be too opressive. i think making it every twenty seconds would be good. mabye 30
Edit: i change my mind. it would be fun to kick a gen mid chase to surprise a survivor. the meta is stale so why not
I don't think it needs a cooldown, since the gen already turns yellow indicating the killer went undetectable. They just need to touch the gen.

I would love Sam and Dean! That would be so perfect. Not really a specific killer for that license so I imagine it would be just 2 survivors like how Ash was alone.

The shows more memorable antagonists would probably be a bit out of place in the entities realm; I don't know how you would explain the presence of Archangels and literal Gods in the fog. Not like there's a shortage of other potential killers mind, but they would be in danger of being a bit anticlimactic.

You're right, I would have loved to see Amara or Lucifer but I understand what you are saying but maybe a mixture of one of the archangels/gods and something less memorable like a vampire/wendigo/werewolf but introduce it as one with the looks of normal enemy and maybe one power of a archangel or god dk
Yeah, that's why the killer should definitely be Azazel/Yellow eyed demon. He is not a god but a demon, a common supernatural creature that fits the realm (just like spirit, hag, wraith, oni, and now onryō) and probably the most remarkable character like this in the show. Perhaps Crowley could be a legendary outfit for him.

I'm all in for a Supernatural-Chapter!
I even have a Killer-Idea!
Supernatural-Chapter:
Sam+Dean-Survivors
And a "Azazel"-Killer (yellow Eyed Demon) who can leave his body as black smoke that can fill human bodys lying around the map.
This way Azazel could fly across the map, spotting Survivors/marking them and then enter a nearby body to hook them!
OR
He could possess them to move them toward a body (or hook?) while having to master skill-checks that become rapidly unbeatable!
(Maybe he could be less powerful in the bodies lying around or he could use his perks only in his "main-body")
Oh boy, the black smoke traversing the map would look really cool.

Remove the cooldown from Trail of Torment

That woulda been beautiful

Apparently they had plans to let him use his gun to grapple onto things for mobility. Honestly not a terrible option atm
That would be the closest to having Batman as killer in DBD

It would not make it worthless, they can find another totem and very rarely the killer will have time to break 5 totems (which would be enough usage anyway).

I have several ideas, one of them was to activate the mettle of man using the object of obsession, the problem is that I couldn't be seen by the killer otherwise he would focus on me, but sometimes it takes time to find a match that I'm not the obsession
Oh I see... maybe you can try it with the addon plus For The People and Blood Pact, that should reduce the odds enough, unless you need DH or something. But I see the point of your suggestion now.

I might be confused. With this add-on, you don’t want to be the obsession; but with Object of Obsession, you do. That’s the only perk it really matters, aside from the BP gained after escaping or dying as the obsession. The OP wants to run unspecified obsession perks without being the obsession, due to this add-on.
That’s all I was getting at.
There is Blood Pact too, but this one already guarantees you don't start as the obsession. Perhaps he is just afraid of being moried by Rancor or tunneled because of Remember Me lol.

@GoshJosh said:

Object will still go off for killer aura reading perks, whether or not you are the obsession. You just have to pay extra attention when the 30-second timer is about to go off.
then why?
-
@GoshJosh said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2827617#Comment_2827617
There’s also Decisive Strike, Mettle of Man, and Sole Survivor that all increase your odds of being the obsession. You obviously would want to be the obsession if running OoO.
Not really, if you want to figure out what aura perks the killer have, it can be useful not being the obsession. I don't see other reason for someone not wanting to be the obsession - except the perks you mentioned in the previous comment, but like you said, nobody runs those.

Yeah, you must use Tombstone Piece or Judith's Tombstone - don't use memento mori or devour hope. Tuft of hair is not required tho, if you can manage to make someone almost fully stalked, then go to someone else and 99 the T3 and then go back to the first person, get T3 and mori them. It's never easy tho.

"What you Talkin about Willis" Chests are still as powerful because I never used them to get keys. I used it to find Medkits, Tool Boxes and Flashlights of the purple variety when I'm running low or the RNG of the bloodweb doesn't spawn them.
Also Medkits are not useless. They stack with CoH and if CoH isnt in play or when not near it you still need to heal up.
Nah, I say nerf CoH and give us more chests. The feeling of opening a chest is so much better than blessing a totem. It's like "What am I gonna get?"

No then they would have to make the split coin more powerful and would make the Survivors counter part would be made pointless. Chests are in a good place tbh
Why? since the key nerf chests are not that powerful. Even medkits are pointless since CoH exists.
