BHVR sacrificed their game health for a small player boost
Ever since the game was free for a week on epic game store, the amount of hackers has tripled, was it really worth it?At this rate, the hacking issue will have to be adressed before it becomes an issue that will drive more players away.

Its just an assumption but you can tell there are a lot more hackers now.
The number of hackers did increase a lot.
They also broke the game with CoH in order to sell Mikaela DLC
A guy named Choy made a video talking about the Epic games fiasco where he spoke to someone who knows a lot about the 'dbd cheating scene' and they were told that many people abused the hell out of it being free to make hundreds of accounts easily with scripts and such
Meaning people who are determined to cheat could potentially have hundreds of accounts
I have to wonder if cheating is more prevalent in some regions than others. I've noticed the frequency of cheaters go down a little, but I also never saw that many to begin with.
Of course, it's hard to get a good bead on how many people really are seeing cheaters since it's just their word that it totally was a cheater, but still. There's probably some accuracy to people's complaints.
and knowing how incredibly fast, easy and efficient our reporting system is, we are never going to get rid of them. ever.
Maybe BHVR are working on sophisticated new proprietary anti-cheat engine and this was just a chess move to get more hackers to test it on.
lol so positive
LMAO that's a good one
Lol
That was her selling point
Its sad this is the fate of most successfull games, the sacrifice their own game health and balance for an extra buck.I get it from a marketing point of view but I dont think its worth it in the long run.
