I got the swamp 5 times in a row.
I genuinely feel bad for you, I'd go on a week long break after having to deal with Backwater 5 times in a row good lord.

LOL why are you talking like if I am good? Im a survivor main that NEVER PLAYS KILLER. I literally played bubba for the first time in my life, and again, -i have about 1 hour of TOTAL killer experience in the past 5 months. I AM AS LOW MMR AS YOU CAN GET.
LOL why are you talking like If I am good?
Firstly, I'm not.
Secondly, If you acknowledge that you are not good and play at the lowest possible mmr then how did you expect to make any kind of point by playing 5 matches as a killer notorious for noobstomping then crying for nerfs?
-
I like it, I think Hellshire Iron could have a more interesting effect but apart from that these look like very welcome changes. It's a good balance between pre-nerf and current Slinger.

nice try on the deflection but there are 2 Gold ranked survivors, 1 silver ranked survivor, and 1 bronze survivor (with full purple perks) vs an ash killer who has about 1 hour of Killer experience in the past 5 months.
I'm not even gonna bother, if you still don't understand that rank has no effect on matchmaking and that it's all based on MMR, then there's no point trying to discuss anything.
-
I DON'T PLAY KILLER AT ALL.
So you're playing against survivors who have as much time in that role as you have as killer?
And it's fairly well known that killer is easily the more powerful role at beginner level so I don't see what you're trying to prove here, Bubba is OP at the lowest level of play?
-
Here's to hoping the Twins rift will come with some love for the most tragic killers in dbd, both lore-wise and literally.
-
I only hate facing Blights if they're the stereotypical gen slowdown stacker.
Fools ruining the good reputation of Talbot Grimes.

It's not really feedback though, it's just a perk synergy idea.

I love the classical buff Blight again when he’s easily top 3. With Nemesis and Twi s getting nerfs
What are you talking about?
He specifically states he's talking about mediocre killers, not a word said about Blight here.
-
Never played against anyone unfortunately, maybe to do with the fact that I'm all the way in Oceania servers.
Maybe one day I'll be blessed by the sub-par matchmaking and somehow get matched against Sluzzy.

I'd love to see just a regular guy running at mach speed, bashing his head into walls and waving around a cane.

During the last tome, barely got to rift level 30. Doubt I'll be finishing this one either.
-
It depends on the killer alot, Nurse, Blight, Hag, anyone who can get around the place easy won't struggle as much. But 110 Killers with no mobility like Huntress and Trickster won't be having much fun.

Same with twins and instead of fixing them they just nerfed them
Honestly I agree with @Travis_Bateman this one sided meta nonsense needs some serious work.
"Accessable for casuals" my ass
Yes, Twins are heavily buggy, but they don't have a bug where they get stuck permanently and have to basically forfeit the match.
Atleast not anymore.

They disable killer meta, but not surv meta, truly biased, don't even try to hide lmao
They disabled her because she's bugged.

Now the map is an issue for everyone! Now that's what I call balanced.

10/10 flawless list 👌

Lag isn't a killer only issue it's an entire console issue stemming from the game being far too CPU intensive man
Yet you don't really see many people complaining about console lag specifically from a survivors pov, because it's alot more of an issue for killers.
Not to say that it isn't an issue for survivors still.

its not even just console, it affects PC players as well
Clearly you've never even seen console dbd, let alone played it.
-
Picking up Blight was the best decision I've ever made on this game, just use Shadowborn and you're good.
Also, he's not short anymore.

As the title states, are there any impending nerfs for Nemesis T-Type? His entire kit is crazy broken. His tentacle strike, which while extended, is still a MELEE attack, is capable of hitting across walls and pallets, and his basic attacks have next to no cooldown after hitting someone, making it nearly impossible to try to get away when downed. I understand that he's still a fairly new killer, but he's also been out for a good amount of time that I'm sure all of these notes have been brought up multiple times. I'm still fairly new-ish, played a while back, took a long break, and came back, but this killer is egregiously OP when you compare them to any other killer, even killers with ranged attacks.
I'm still fairly new-ish
Clearly.

You are reaching almost Sluzzy levels of notoriety for bait, my friend.

What if BT protected the unhooker as well from a hit that would solve his camp game
That used to be how BT worked, there's a reason it was nerfed.
-
Then cheaters who can bypass cross-off will go out of their way to harass console players.
-
Blight has a lower skill floor, higher skill ceiling.
Nurse has a high skill floor, low skill ceiling.
Plus Blight still has to deal with pallets, windows and bad map design.
-
I'm obsessed with Soulsborne so here's 1 from each (except Demon's Souls bc I haven't played it yet):
Artorias - Dark Souls 1
Fume Knight - Dark Souls 2
Soul of Cinder - Dark Souls 3
Father G, Maria, Gehrman or Orphan (there's just so many options for Bloodborne)
Corrupted Monk - Sekiro
-
In the current CoH meta, Spirit by a mile.
-
I used to think the Swamp was just barely acceptable.
Then I became a Blight main.

@Science_Guy said:
Killers aren't using Blight with his busted addons and "techs" because other killers are too weak, they're playing Blight because he has busted addons and cheesy exploits. I know this forum be quite defensive when it comes to Blight, but buffing any other killer isn't going to change the actual reason Blight is so obnoxiously common.
They're playing Blight because he has busted addons and cheesy exploits.
??? Most of us play Blight because he's fun, viable at high mmr and rewards skillful play.
And if you're referring to hug tech as a "cheesy exploit" then you're just objectively incorrect because it's an intended feature that McLean confirmed himself, and it's not even that it's uncounterable you can very easily tell when the Blight's gonna use it and simply move away from the loop and he won't even see it.
Unless you're talking about lag flicks and actual cheats, which I absolutely agree should be removed.

Nothing better in this world than a well made brownie.

It’s just very repetitive and boring you know? Same power, same perks, same add-ons. As with survivor, you can experiment so much especially if you have friends, like doing locker saves, CJ’s, making a vault speed build, a stealth, build, a healing build, I just feel survivor offers so much more.
It's just very repetitive and boring you know? Same power, same perks, same add-ons.
You have literally just described the survivor role.
I just feel survivor offers so much more.
Right, because having 26(?) different killers, all with entirely different abilities, add-ons, designs and playstyle opinions offers far less variety than survivor does.
-
C'mon Sluzzy, really? another " but what about x?" post?
We know you can do better than that!

For Blight:
Shadowborn
Lethal Pursuer
Agitation
BBQ
Enduring
Fearmonger

I think it's probably going to be one of the lowest participated PTB's in a long time.
Ringu isn't that hype of a license and people aren't happy with the game right now. Likewise, Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring release at pretty much the same time.
Lord when Elden Ring comes out I'm not going to so much as think about dbd for a long time.
-
From everything people were saying on the PTB I thought she would end up being really fun, almost a second main for me but when she came out, turns out she's really not my thing, haven't played her since about a couple weeks after she came out.
-
I remember I was a Wraith main when I started, I used to hook someone and then cloak and camp nearby way more than I really should've been.
-
I'm only playing for the Blight skin on the tome, as soon as I finish the set I am gone until there's an actual incentive to play the game, since fun isn't much of a motivation anymore.
-
I was really anticipating Candyman for the 4th anniversary, I actually watched all the movies (and loved them) because I was so sure it would be him.
Still to this day I await his arrival.
-
In no particular order,
Wraith, Hag, Legion, Twins, Ghostie, Trapper, Oni, and probably a few others I'm not remembering rn.
-
Blight is still very good on console, just takes a bit getting used to the less-than-ideal fps and the fact that you can't make instant 90 flicks like on MnK. I'd say he's mostly the same on Console as PC.
I'd put Twins in my top 5 depending on how willing you are to play as nasty as possible and if survivors have and make use of CoH, since it hurts them real bad.
-
@DatFastBoi said:
because he’s rewarding if you play him efficiently without jund teching every pallet
I've never seen Scott play Blight so I'd love to know what the jund tech is

Dead Man's Switch is a meta artist perk, as a general Killer perk I'd consider it still pretty niche.

As some one who has played with a ######### PC for 2245 hours (yes I kept track of that) with a PC that could run the game at 20 fps at the absolute lowest settings (including messing around with the config) yes, I know exactly what its like. I remember being able to tell if it was a Doctor straight from the get go because my frames would get even lower.
So, tell me this. What the hell does this have to do with Blight?
Do you still play at 20 fps? Have you experienced Blight with 20 fps?
If not, then you don't understand that it has everything to do with Blight because he is affected most by bad fps and lag than any other killer.
-
I really like the Coldwind audio cue, I was hoping to hear em on other maps too.
-
Blight skin.
I am happy.
-
It's common knowledge at this point that the PTB is to generate hype, instead of actually taking tested feedback.
-
It's just started, alot of people are still downloading it.

dying light is a good perk, but it can be so bad too. Especially when you throw resilence, and a killer who can't use it effectively for whatever reason. The payoff isn't crazy imo. Thank you for response :)
Definitely more of a detriment than a help in most cases, it's not too bad on Plague and Legion but still very much a niche option.
