i love licensed chapters. like playing with survivors that are from a tv show that i watch (like stranger things) and killers from my favorite movies (michael, freddy...)
-
sprint burst can work on demand if you 1% your exhaustion bar. also good for distance. creates bad habits at first like saving it when going for an unhook but youll overcome them eventually
-
basically removes iron will. theyll still have 50% less grunts of pain noise but it makes no difference
-
borrowed time, spine chill, resilience and dead hard/sprint burst (preferably dead hard since its easier to get used to than sprint burst, switch to sprint burst later on)

It makes no sense to survive a match a derank.
Same for killers that get 3 or 4 kills and also derank.
sucks cuz you are forced to derank if the killer is afk cuz you cant really do much except for gen rush.
for killers, well it depends how they got the kills. if they only downed everyone once and let them bleed out on the ground then they deserve to depip
-
bait it or eat the stun. the stun causes them to be exhausted and the 3 seconds will only give them slight distance
-
seeing neas face in the ui is scaring me. but fr i think her face is a bit too scary (not really girly like) and her hair is just ugly
-
1 doctor (just read his backstory)
2 ghostface (stealthy as hell, read his backstory and his well planned killings)
3 trickster & the pig (idk they just seem to have the same intelligence)

So Nurse is fine?
she may be annoying to go against but atleast she doesnt give me the mental pain like the spirit does
-
but dont vpns disable the lock? also i play on EU but would like to play on NA just to see what its like
-
good build to have fun with and be immerse but ultimately forces you to throw the game
-
nurse is 4k hungry, sweats, likely to 4 man slug, doesnt waste a second of barbecue and chilli, immediately goes to the nearest gen being worked on, but isnt that toxic (usually)
spirit: hits you on the hook for no reason and stares at you for 3 seconds, nods when they down you, rubs the fact that they mindgamed you in your face, throws the game just to ruin it, call you trash in your steam profile comment section,
overall, nurse sweats more, but spirit is more toxic.
-
tapps cosmetics make him look like a rapper i guess.
-
its supposed to be tool for lower rank killers to get used to the game. if you are at purple ranks and use it, you dont even deserve to have your rank. it guarantees you one or two kills, sometimes even a 4k. noed also kills half of the perk adrenaline cuz the main benefit is an extra health state, but if the killer has noed it doesnt matter cuz u can just get downed. if decisive erases a killers entire progress, just how am i supposed to escape hook campers? if it wasnt for camping bubbas and farming teammates i wouldnt even be running it. searching for totems isnt a good strategy either since you are wasting time on preventing a perk that the killer might not even have from activating instead of doing generators and helping out teammates.
-
thats kinda lame. but the only time i would understand dcing is when the killer has iridescent head
-
survivors: ash and steve
killlers: deathslingers laugh
-
1# decide to remove DS from my build for ONE GAME, and get facecamped and tunneled. ds is just a must in solo queue
2# doing so much for the team and then dying to noed and being left to die on my first hook

depends on the person who uses it. if youre the average self care user who goes to the other side of the map just to heal against sloppy butcher, start using iron will or inner strenght. it can be good in a lot of situations where time isnt your main concern, for example the killer is guarding the exit gate and you are injured. use self care. i dont use it but it can be good in certain situations

Actually, Ghostface is a young adult, not a teenager. Around 25 years old.
Also, Ghostface is a lot smarter, stealthier and faster than Trickster.
Trickster put evidence at the crime scenes that were deliberately obvious, just for the sake of it, and broke into random people's houses with a baseball bat in the middle of the night.
Ghostface stalked specific people, mapped out their daily routines, put on specific colognes for the occasions, then broke into their houses and deliberately made his presence known while inside the house specifically to brawl with the inhabitants and make the signs of struggle obvious, and then took photos of himself outside the house to put into the newspaper.
trickster just seems tougher. also the age depends on which ghostface you're talking about, i was referring to billy and stu from the movies
-
ghostface is just an edgy teen running around with knife and a mask on. basically, he's just the 5th legion. the trickster has those little knives that he can throw like a machine gun. i think its obvious
-
unfortunately no, forcing survivors to depip is okay

On Michael I use Monitor & Abuse, Bamboozle, BBQ and PGTW. For Legion I’m currently using Ruin, Undying, Thanatophobia and Bamboozle.
dont really agree with bamboozle but seems like a good build

@TicTac said:
You could use Thana, Ruin, Undying and Monitor for Legion.
Gens regress while survivor are mending and totems and gens are slower bc of thana. Monitor shows you more survivor when you hit someone in frenzy and you can get easier near injured survivor and down them. But you could still have problems to down survivor who play really safe. So you could switch Monitor with something which helps you with that. But i found nothing better. Instead of Ruin/Undying you can also use Pop/Thrilling.
For Myers i use Corrupt, Pop, Monitor and BBQ/Thrilling.
Corrupt bc good teams can make the early game hard, but you can use stalking speed addons, too.
seems good

Funnily I main both Myers and Legion.
My builds for them are;
Myers: Ruin, Undying, Corrupt, BBQ.
Legion: Surge, Pop, Tinkerer, BBQ.
same, but i dont really agree with the myers build. id switch corrupt or ruin for thrilling or discordance
-
@MikeyBoi said:
The best Legion build arguably right now is: Pop goes the Wiesel, Thrilling Tremors, Surge and Enduring.
Ive 4kd many good Rank 1 SWF teams with this combined with good map knowledge/ sense.
seems like the best build on this thread

Legion Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher
I usually switch the other two around, so the other two are up to you.
sloppy butcher doesnt work when he's in frenzy so thanatophobia

his power only injures survivors he is a basic m1 killer when downing survivors.
that means without chase perks you will still struggle, think of wraith but after you get your free hit you never use your power until you down the survivor, obviously that sucks and that is how legion is played.
good point, but i was assuming that the survivor would be healthy
-
@AChaoticKiller said:
I use ruin, blood echo, enduring, and spirit fury on legion.
As long as ruin isn't cleansed you can regress gens enough to get like 3 downs normally until ruin is cleansed and if it stays up long you will most likely win. This is assuming you are pretty good at the game and know how to mindgame and manage survivors correctly.
seems like a decent build, but i dont think enduring and spirit fury are necessary considering he can just vault pallets

Ok but that doesn't mean he is weak it just means you haven't faced a good deathslinger it's like saying nurse sucks when you haven't faced a good one.
he is a pretty strong killer when it comes to 1v1 chases, not when it comes to map pressure. i have only faced one red rank deathslinger and he demolished me within 10 seconds

You're free to have an opinion like that but have you ever actually faced good deathslinger ? He'll down you sooner then trickster ever could dream of and quite possibly even faster then good huntress if he doesn't miss.
not really, most deathslingers i have faced are rank 14-17. his harpoon is insanely accurate yet i still dont get how people can literally miss trough a scope

HE IS LITERALLY DEATHLINGER
same TR, same gameplay but with more "counters".
Deathslinger isn't OP and doesn't have map pressure.
he gets 60 knives when he only has to hit 7. deathslinger has to reload after 1 harpoon shot but this guy can fire all he wants.
from my experience, id say it goes like this: Deathslinger>Trickster>Huntress
-
unfortunately you dont get any compensation for farming killers.
-
are you sure hes weak? he has insane map pressure on the survivors pov. his terror radius is also insanely small, hes practically the new myers. sometimes you mistake him for a survivor. his hex perk demolishes TL and shack loops. his power is decent and it destroys certain loops.

My guess is they chose Tapp because Danny Glover was the "biggest name" Survivor from Saw. Most of the other actors were relatively unknown at the time I think, except Jigsaw himself of course.
I would've preferred Dr. Gordon as Survivor for sure. Or even make Amanda the Survivor and have Jigsaw be the Killer. Oh well.
my guess is that they chose him cuz his perks would make the most sense
tenacity- in the movie he chased jigsaw with an open throat
stake out- he snuck inside of gordons house while zep was in there holding gordons family hostage
detectives hunch-idk
again, none of this makes sense if you havent watched the movies
-
shouldnt reward them but it should atleast guarantee them a black pip

Diversion most definitely is not next to useless, but you need to know how to utilize it properly.
ive never used it but from what ive seen its a meme perk
-
survivor shrine: windows of oppurtunity is good for a looping build, diversion is next to useless
killer shrine: thrilling tremors is basically that perk that you wanna use if you dont have barbecue and chilli, still a really good perk.
haunted grounds is meh, you kinda just have to hope someone finds it at the start of the game
-
jumpscare myers
-
i dont think detective tapp fits in dbd (even though he already exists). as a saw fan hes probably the least iconic character in the movie
-
f13 would be the best one but theres like a 0.1% of it happening
-
that would kill 70% of the perk. you could just get downed again and not get the chance to use it. basically it would make it no mither 2.0
-
what do you consider a win? a 4k? 2 kills? a decent amount of bloodpoints? a pip? anyways, here are some tips:
dont rely on noed- its very unhealthy and overall just makes you a worse killer
you can get a pip by not even trying- okay hear me out, im not saying dont try at all, but ive had games where i literally go friendly mid game and farm points with the survivors. only do this if you are struggling with ranking up
play survivor and think like one- try to predict their movement when you are mindgaming a loop, it will be easier if you try out survivor
-
myers and legion. i play them about 50/50

Why do you guys think it’s necessary to sweat so hard against a killer who is being laid back and not trying to win? Decided to not try to win at all today and got a 4 man swf all rank 2 who were clicking their flashlights and tbagging. Also typing trash player in my messages(Xbox player). What’s the point of doing this? What do you get out of it?
as a solo queue main i cant really answer the question
-
yeah, i enjoy kicking that little fetus and i have a slugging perk (tenacity) which really comes in handy
-
legion
myers
i only play them

As in slugging for a 4k at the end?
That's fine as well within reason. I mean like....it takes both sides for that to happen really. If they slug you and look for you, do you just hide to stay alive or let them kill you? You hide of course, because you want to try and live and maybe get the other person up, but they want to try and kill you not let you get hatch.
I mean, you could just let them kill you, but you don't want to do that because why would you just let them win? Well, they also don't want to just let you get hatch. It's just a stand off situation.
I don't begrudge it, I just see standoff problems as a bhvr design problem not the killers or survivors fault.
Personally though, I generally don't do it because I find it tedious and boring roaming around trying to find immersive blendette unless I saw them on BBQ or have whispers or something, I might slug for a 4k but if I can't find them and they lose me, I will probably go and hook the person.
no, slugging all 4 survivors when theres still 5 generators left. but i have found a way around it: i use tenacity to recover and crawl towards a teammate. if the killer comes back for me he cant find me cuz of the 50% speed boost
-
if anything they should be complaining about noed, devour hope, ruin....etc. not barbecue and chilli
