  • Yeah, but thats what people were complaining about.

  • I think i saw something about matchmaking changes. In the last survey, they asked about if people would accept longer wait times for fairer matches.

Maybe they tried something like that, and now you have longer waiting times because its searching for fairer matches? So you have to wait because you dont get a full lobby as survivor, while there are plenty of killers with this update.

Even more, if you have characters at P1,they are going to be P3 in the new patch giving all the perks to all other characters.

Why is that? i thought prestige progress depends on the perks the char had?

I have all perks on all killers, but none is prestiged, and i thought they will go to prestige x automaticly. did they change that, and do i need to go to p1 to have them at p3 (at least?)

  • I prefer solo survivor, but i have to see how the changes work out. If its too harsh on solo, i might just return to swf (or stop playing altogether)

  • I play. i personally changed my playstyle a lot. I only hook every survivor twice, then i just slug them until i got them all. Then i let one wiggle free and let them all go. This way, my mmr gives me games that are still fun, and i end up with 30k bp in any case. I just trade the last 2k bp i would get for sacrifices for 20k bp on the survivor side for escaping.

U can try meme-builds and stuff, because i am not outclassed every game.

However, i am a solo survivor main anyway, and thats i am such a bad killer in the first place. But i play killer side for a change and for a chill game, and thus this tactic is the right one for me.

  • I will try how it workes, and if it doesn´t work well, i might return to playing swf, as a first step, then see how that works out.

I don't want to talk to my friends, I want to talk to my solo queue teammates.

It doesn't take that much work to implement voip, I think it's an Unreal Engine plugin. The moderation it needs is minimal, games have voice chat all the time and they don't need massive moderation apparatuses to ban people being mean.

The game should already be balanced around communication if it's as easy as you say it is to communicate already. If adding voice chat leads to survivors dominating every match a full rebalance around voip and the addition of a callout system like Warthunder's should result in matchmaking being better for everyone and a more fun game.

But they may not want to talk to you.

The game was designed around a lack of information, and thats why i for example play solo survivor main. But once it is introduced, as you said yourself, the game needs to be rebalanced around that, and then there is no way of opting out without a big disadvantage.

In the other hand, on my servers play a lot of people i dont share a language with (russians, italians, spanish, some asians), so voice chat would help none of us, yet the game would be balanced around that...

No, i dont want a voice chat ingame, because for some of us they provide no advantage, but the needed balance changes would kill the game for us.

  • hmm, i dont like the knifes at all. but i like the end, because the survivor become part of the dredge, thus, everyone wins

  • So, i think about artist with an active noed. So one knife is enough to down a person, and he he finds mulitples even at a distance, they just go down? Yeah, doesnt sound op at all.

I don't get why people were using Self-Care over CoH anyway, it outclassed it in almost every regard

because if you play solo, even if you light up a boon as soon as you can, people will still break every totem they find, and if the killer snuffs out your boon, they run straight to the place to destroy that totem, too. And then you have no reliable way to heal yourself, because your allies will heal you until they wont, like run to an unhook instead of finish healing you, run away if they hear a heartbeat (if you run too, be prepared to be bodyblocked by your "teammates"), or they just keep you injured to be bait for the killer, so they can get away (if you work on a gen together, for example).

CoH is way more effective in swf, where you can count on people not to destroy your means of survival for some bps...

Self care provides reliability when your teammates or other perks dont.

  • i got 1082, one 3rd on Dredge, one 3rd on Nemesis, since i leveled both during the event, and the last 3rd on several survivors, mostly on both the resident evil survivors.

On that note, i still have about 160 Cakes from last year, and even 7 from 2 years ago.

Same and the lab can stay gone that map was horrible and proved how powerful booms were on indoor maps

I really miss that map, i liked it in both roles. But i like indoor maps anyway

  • I had a concept for that. The problem is that hooks dont affect the teams ability until the point the first person is out. So, instead:, the first time a survivor is hooked, he get a gen speed malus, the secend time a smaller one, and the 3rd time the remaining survivors get a bonus out of his dead. That way, there is an incentive to spread hooks.

  • I had an interesting experience. I choose the clown, one of the many killers i play next to never. My MMR with him seems to be lower than my average killer mmr, so i got pretty easy games vs realative noob survivors. I got in chases quick (because they didnt know how to dodge bbq), and i could down them fast because they couldnt loop.

However, i only hooked everyone twice, then i only slugged them, so all go out, to keep my mmr low. Its a good thing for challenges and such to have a low mmr killer that allows you to "play around".

Got the emblems easy enough that way.

  • because they cant. swf is swf. Solos can opt to play in the swf-queue (maybe for some bp-incentive, maybe because they like it), but even 3 or duo-swf cant play in solo queue.

duo is not a problem, because you end up with 2 swf, the 3-1 combination is the only one that might need some help.

  • @Avocium said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3029648#Comment_3029648

separating the two would not work because no killer wants to play against 4swf, they would all choose solo queue.

Increased communication would not fix every problem, but it would at least give survivors the potential to play in harmony and increase their survival rate if they choose to use it. If the game was balanced around teams using a system like this together instead of just solo queue 4 swf would still be overpowered but not by as much.

making the maps truly random while maintaining balance would be unrealistic. It would be better to have 20+ unique versions of each map handcrafted by the devs and randomly chosen. Moving the pallets wouldn't be enough, it would require moving buildings/ruins around as well. For some maps this would be more difficult than others obviously.

Killers with high MMR get 4swf very frequently and it actually kind of ruins the experience because 4swf can be almost unbeatable a lot of times. I don't want to screw over solo players obviously but there must be a way to nerf 4swf while also making games somewhat fair for solos. There are plenty of ways to do this - they could just increase gen repair time for teams that have have more people playing together for example. Honestly that wouldn't be enough, but it would be a start - but it would also require balancing because you don't want to discourage people from playing together either.

i often read the claim killer would just choose solo queue, but i dont understand why.

Remember, my idea means that both queues are balanced seperatly to make both forms equaly fair, so in solo queue, the killer is much weaker than in swf queue, where they would be way stronger to compensate for the swf.

So, if a killer would have to choose between 2 equally fair matches, with the same chances of winning or losing, why do you thing he would only choose one of them? Just give me a reason that doesnt ignore the sepereate balancing.

  • I actually disagee about the communication for solo, because it would only solve one of the problems solo queue has compared to swf. People not playing in a team is another one, as well as some people having their own agendas, be it challenges, bp - and thus, hook - farming, or just want to screw people over.

I think seperating solo queue and swf queue would be the right way to go, while balancing both for the task at hand. Meaning killers can get nerfed if they so to the solo queue, but buffed if they choose to face swf-teams (compared to the now-standard). That would make fairer games all along.

Sure, balancing maps would be great, but i doubt you can, especially if you want a)better placement of things like pallets, but b) more random maps...

So, but we don´t have different queues for solos, and we dont have balanced maps, so your main take is screw the solos because swf is too strong, do i get that right?

  • Stealth is heavily nerfed by the map reworks, you want to nerf looping more than already planed, and pallets are only good once, in the beginning of the match. without looping or any way to conserve them, they are gone fast and then there is no protection anymore.

Since solo survivors can not coordinate well enough in most cases, how do you expect them to be able to win? (if you agree with me that the possibility should exist in the first place, maybe you are not).

i would be very interested in your thoughts on this, and this has to include killers like blight which you cant just escape with holding shift + w.

(and just to make it clear, i am a solo survivor main that does play both sides, and i dislike looping in both roles. To me, its the most boring aspect of the game. as survivor, i prever stealth, because making the killer lose you in a chase is much more satisfying for me, however with map reworks there are very few options left to do that, and with the iron will nerf it becomes harder again. so i see that looping is needed, since there is nearly nothing left for solo survivors).

  • @Souplet said:

    Its adressed in a way

If gens take longer and survivors odnt have 3 health state anymore, there wont be 2 gens pop 1st chase then 1.5 second chase

Thats the issue right now. Thats why killers camp and defend gens around hook. Try to play killer at a decent mmr and see gens fly, you will understand that camping and tunneling is the only way to win a game nowadays

If gen speed problem is adressed, i think camping will be less frequent

Why, though? If it is an effecitve strategy while gens are flying, it doesnt become worse with longer gen times, does it? So the most effecitve way might still be camping, and thus more than enough killer will still do it. But that can easily push the balance in the opposite direction.

You find skillchecks "fun"? If the devs insist the only way to progress the game should be to sit next to a gen instead of looking around for parts or something, I'd at least want to not have to pay close attention to it.

Also, looping is the exact same. CHASE is nerfed. Not looping.

Yeah, skill checks are just boring, we need the time to just run in circles, but we still need the benny-hill-chase-music for that, because that is really fun.

  • It depends on the killer. that map offering is the number one thing i go for in my bloodweb for the doctor. who cares about pallets if the survivors can´t vault them? They become your friends.

That's what I'm saying, FFS, they gave 6k shards to everyone who thouched bubba at least once for 4 cosmetics that were gained passively for free, and now we get ######### for something that I had to spend tons of bloodpoints to do?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3026327#Comment_3026327

I did prestige like that, that's why I don't have all my characters at P3.

Still, I had to lose all my event limited offerings and items in the process, and that is a pill that is hard to swallow right now since I could have simply kept at least one of each for collecting purposes.

And FFS, playing with whatever perk you had at level 50 was a pain most of the time, especially since they ######### up the RNG bloodweb generation for perks.

For me, it was a good change for the most, because i had to try perks i usually wouldn´t use. However, if your goto-perks are not available, it really hurts, so you are kind of right on that.

  • well, in the matches i play, only 1 or 2 out of 5 nurses are really good. The match is over in 3 minutes then anyway, so nothing really lost.

In the other 3-4 chases the nurses can be outplayed to various degrees. Some will get you, but can extend chases, some break the chase after 3 minutes they couldnt get you, and some seem to learn that this mouse-thingy on the computer is doing.

so, god -nurse is rare enought to just lose a game to them once in a while. no big deal.

I have 9 characters right now I never prestiged because I had no interested in the bloody cosmetics. These characters have EVERY SINGLE PERK IN THE GAME AT PURPLE TIER.

How stupid do you think I feel right now? My options are throw it all away, or get screwed out of the special reward.

This is true for all of my killers. All of them got all perks (i have), and never got prestiged. (i only missing pig and the ring-chapter).

    @Lycidas said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3024860#Comment_3024860

From what you write I guess you never prestiged anyone, did you?

Saying "it's not like you lose anything" is idiotic and stupid.

When you prestige you lose addons and offerings that you PAID with bloodpoints, and you need to spend MORE BLOODPOINTS to get back your perks. Sure, your reward is the bloody cosmetic, and that's why it was worth it, but guess what? Everyone gets that now for free.

So yes. I did lose something: a ######### heap of bloodpoints, items and offerings, including event themed ones.

Well, i thing you prestiged wrong, then. while i never prestiged a killer (i am a survivor main anyway) i prestiged a lot of my survviors. And it was not that hard, because i would prestige one, spend the 1000000+ bp i had (bloodpoint limit + unclaimed challenges), and leveled them to lvl 50. Then i chose the best perks they had, and played with them until all bp-offerings and all good items were gone. There was not much left to lose. Any additional bp could be spend by starting another char without bpofferings and items on his way to prestige.

So basicly, if you already burned their good items and offerings, there was nothing to lose.

  • @jesterkind said:

    Agreed.

I think a lot of the "this update kills solos" uproar comes from people assuming that specific perks are necessary to stand a chance in solo queue, and not perk types. Solo gets a buff in the form of not having to worry about their teammates farming or simply not having BT, they get more viable stealth and chase options, they get a neat new form of information for when the killer is coming at them (info that's much less useful in a SWF)... gens taking longer is gonna hurt, but clearly it needed to due to how fast gens were going.

Tunnelling got addressed very effectively, which helps solos since it's harder to coordinate a defence against that right now. Camping not so much, but hopefully that comes soon.

Ok, what stealth options do you talk about? (unless you mean something like hidding from the killer whenever you hear a slight heartbeat.

Because i like stealth, and usually if i get in a chase, i try to lose the killer instead of just extending the chase. however, that got harder with each map rework, because in a lot of places, there are either no los-breaker at all, or there is simply nothing where you could have gone. In everyone else, iron will was crucial, because you could try to turn a corner, and then double back next to the killer. But now, he will still hear so, so that is not an option anymore, so i am really interested in these viable stealth options.

I had the discussion with the haddonfield-rework, where people said it was super for stealth (and it is, if you are not in a chase. if you are, there are just 2 buildings to go and hope you get the mindgame-advantage there)

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/330252/time-to-quit

Ah I knew it, the "all change is bad" guy. They didn't increase gen speeds. They actually LOWERED them, now gens are 12% slower to repair. Generators are so insanely fast to repair that you basically need to bring slowdown and regression perks to avoid genrushing, and even then you still get genrushed.

"Every survivor meta perk decimated" are you saying that Decisive Strike in its current state is fun? BT as base kit is a nerf?? They actually buffed BT and now made it part of base kit, how is that bad in any way for Survivors? Did you actually even read the developer update patch notes at all, because they literally only somewhat decimated Spine Chill and Iron Will. If you're saying nerfing Self-Care, Spine Chill and Iron Will was this gigantic nerf that will destroy solo queue you're lying.

If you were playing DbD like Sam Fisher and avoiding chases, spamming DS right infront of the exit gates then this game is not for you. I think we're better off with less players who react negatively to a meta being SLIGHTLY, VERY SLIGHTLY nerfed and don't actually read the changelogs.

    Thanks for quitting the game.

To be fair, they said they look at the reasons the perks are used and wanted to adress the underlying issue.

I am a solo survivor only, and i use self care, because all other self heals are not reliable, and random teammates aren´t either. (i could tell you about teammates that let you heal them, and then instead of healing you they run off to get some sweet hooksafe-points, leaving you unprotected, or people not healing you so you are the easy target might the killer show up). And did they adress the reason self care is used? I dont think so. And for everyone saying CoH is better anyway....yes, if you are an swf. If you are solo, some guy will still break all totems he find, just for the points, because he nees some points since he stays away from gens and killers alike.

  • Mine is lethal persuaer, BBQ, Devour hope and Undying.

Thanks to nemesis you get into a chase almost instantly (and is hell with the "start with nightfall"-addon), and after your first hook, you often have an idea where to go next, and activate devour hope in the process.

This let you snowball so hard.

But there are variants, you can change devour to make your choice and just go back to the hook someone was freed from, or change bbq to thinkerer or Thrilling tremors. Due to his high mobility, he has very few downtimes if you get any use of your information perks.

  • @Akumakaji said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/330406/iron-will-finally-has-a-counterplay

Iron Will has finally counterplay, and thats why people hate it and say "it got ruined" or "its completely useless now" or even "100% or zero value".

Thats what happens with crutches: people get used to them so much that they can't see the forest for the trees anymore and become blind to how impactful that thing is and how much it hinders a fun game.

NGL, I lost a few quite cool chases, just because I couldn't hear the survivor after I hit them. And then I would tunnel or camp the one THAT I found. Making the game less frustrationg for the killer will improve it for everyone in the long run. And yeah, I am not saying that the survivors shouldn't be allowed clever plays or that they should just roll over and let them be killed, but with 100% sound reduction, a lot of those clever plays weren't actually that clever, they were just mechanical superior.

The thing is, the game losses some options. I run iron will, because i dont like looping. instead of running in circles, i used line-of-sight-breakers to juke the killer. Often it was only possible after you either stun the killer (not possible if all pallets already got used up by your teammates) or you got hit. But now, there is no point in it, because he can still hear you. So ending a chase using stealth is no longer an option, and i basicly have to run in circles to extend the chase time, then run to the next loop. It just streamlines the game into a form where you basicly got the same match every match. We will see how this works out. (or not, the day stealth is no option anymore other than hidding when you hear a heartbeat i might very well quit).

there are several nerfs/reworks i dont agree with, but most, i dont care. Self Care, Iron will and Ruin and Tinkerer are the ones i dont agree with.

  • I had no problem with legion before his last changes. Now, however, the game become very boring, even if noone dcs. The thing is, neither side progresses. No gens get done, but legion also doesnt get hooks, most of the time. Every little progress takes ages. Its just boring, really.

  • There are some killers that dont tunnel or camp, even if its losing them the game.

The problem is, while they get my respect for doing that, they often get teabagged by my teammates.

Also, i think camping and tunneling is mainly done by killers that have to substitute their lack of skill, and this is one way.

  • for some killers, only a 4k is a win. Maybe he meant this.

Its ok fi you dont feel attacked, but the gesture of teabagging was invented and designed to humiliate and insult defeated opponents. It doesn´t originate in dbd, but it was adepted.

The teabagging person means to be insulting and disrespectful, and thats why a lot of people react to that. Its the intention that counts.

I know a poc that don´t care about racial slurs, but i know a lot do. Disrespect is disrespect, no matter which form it takes to express itself.

  • @toxik_survivor said:

People want to play this game with there friends, cross platform came out so other people can play with their friends on differnt platforms. Bhvr would loose so much money getting rid of SWF, and I don't see why people care about going against them. Swf for the most part are fun to go against because you know everyone is on mic and you can show off, and obliterate them.

The main reason people hate SWF is cause of mic, and I get that, but how much does that really help? If a guy in a friend group runs you around the whole time it's because he's good, not because he's in a SWF. Most of the time SWF (ussally 4 man) intentionally try to be toxic, and you can take advantage of that because toxicity leads to stupid plays.

Overall SWF will not be removed, ever. Money is a huge factor in that. When people look at a game they look for "cross platform multiplayer" and things like that. If that isn't an option that buyer will skip the game and move onto the next.

Also, I would like to hear some reasons killer mains hate SWF, just generally I would like to understand that more.

If you dont understand the power of swf and communication, try it.

I play only solo survivor, but i used to play swf. The amount on information you get is crazy. For example, take a stealth killer. You know you dont have to worry, because the one guy in a chase - even if he is just average at chasing - will just run him away from the position you are doing gens at.

Also, you know where people have checked for that damn ruin-totem, and everyone can just check one corner of the map, making it very efficient.

you next to never find yourself in deadland, because you know where your teammates threw pallets down, so you know which areas to avoid (a simple "shack pallet is gone" is a lot of information).

How often did you have the situation where there is only one gen to fix, but the survivors were on 3 different gens while the last was in a chase. How often did that happen with swf on comms?

Also, even if the killer is just preparing, OoO basicly works for the whole team, as well as every one having kindred without running it.

So, you were hit, have exhausted your perks and need a moment to refresh? Well, here are your teammate you signaled that either just takes a hit for you or even takes over the chase. In a good team thats basicly unlimited health states.

Even if your team is just doing gens while you are in a chase, what happens if you spot a hex totem on your chase? As solos survivor, nothing. In an swf on comms? Its gone in 30 seconds.

So let us reevaluate the Question "but how much does that really help?" My experience says: "a lot".

  • Yes i can, because a game is supposed to be fun and not a chore, no matter how many bp you get.

  • I personally don´t play her anymore because yes, she has good addons, but now she needs those addons to be viable. I disike such dependencys, because they are not always availible and i tend to play different killers, so i rather skip her.

Also, i dislike just running in circles, but since her nerf she does just that, while other killers have better options.

  • But still wont help you against the group you cant get a single hook from, does it? Play like you want, but at least rembember this when you open the next thread crying about ds, genrush or swf.

  • No, swf shouln´t be removed from dbd. However, solo queue should be seperated from swf queue, and both should be balanced seperatly, because solo might need the killer/survivor balanced put a little more in the survivor direction, while the balance is different in swf and should make killers a little bit stronger(or survivors weaker).

However, the end goal would be that both modes give equaly balanced matches, so it makes next to no difference for a killer to play either mode, with the exception of meme builds that don´t work against communication.

  • @Crowman said:

Silent traps are one of her best addons and franklins helps counter flashlights which destroy her traps. This isn't some "toxic" build as much as taking advantage of things in the game.

But also the killer is not responsible for your fun. Stop treating killers like they are your personal entertainment.

Sorry, did you ever play with other people in real life? Because yes, you are partly responsible for the fun of the others, otherwise they won´t play with you anymore.

The fact that online games have a large pool of players who can´t choose not to play with you anymore doesnt make you free of that responisbility, you just choose to ignore it.

Lobby dodging killers are punishing other killers, maybe without even realizing it.

Also there are lobby dodging survivors, who just leave for some random reason.

But if i try to play hag (which i cant change in the lobby anymore) and see a squad with 3-4 flashlights, which can negate my whole power, i might want to dodge with that killer, while another killer simply might put on lightborn and deal with them.

  • Ok, i completly misundertood your post then (not a native speaker, after all), so nevermind.

that's very extreme, like i annoyed a lot of individuals in many games but i never got anything like

the best one which is more toxic than any game would be LoL and even in that game i never got anything like this

the best one, was one person adding me saying oink and unfriending me which just left me confused and laughing

I am a grown man, but the extend to which that person followed through really really shocked me, and crept me out. I play games my whole life, and online games since around 1997, but i never experience a toxicity like this in any other online game i ever played.

And ever since then, private profiles it is.

  • As a solo survior, i love it. Because the last weeks, i have games with people that aren´t allergic to gens, and sometimes even know how to run the killer (way better than i do). It feels good not to lose by default just because you have bad teammates. However, i think i tend to escape way too often, and mostly through camping and tunneling.

But i have a lot more good matches than bad ones (meaning the killer spreads his hooks out, and while gens get done, there are snowball situations where you have to come back from as survivors, and so on.) Fun games, up to the point where it doesnt matter which side wins, because it was a gg all around.

but overall, i think the killers get the short end of the stick in my bracket, because the random teams just funciton way better than before.

  • I am a survivor main that does play both sides, and can only say i like him in both roles.

As killer, he is very fun to play, and his mobility makes him feel good.

As a survivor i like him, because you can avoid his anti-loop better than the artists, and you can handle his teleports.

I love the nightfall-ability, because its scary and fun.

Its fun if you are in a chase and the killer goes to a locker before you but you predict it and just changed directions, or if you teleport to a locker and the survivor tries to hide in it.

All in all, i dont find him unbalanced in either way, but that might change once better killers than me expands his full potential or if survivors just learn how to counter him better.

  • Let me Copy and paste for you what i recently wrote in another thread:

The reason i have a private profile is that i, when i started this game 4 years ago, i used the same name for my online-persona, meaning i used the same name in games, forums etc (it was not a common name, and i have a gaming history back to 1998, there are transcpits of matches i played in starcraft around the internet).

When i started this game, a very salty killer started to stalk said online persona, registering in forums i am member of and sending me messages, and entering other games i played to find me (and if possible backstab me).

I learned, and since then, i use a different name for every forum, game, or whatever.

And yes, i keep my profiles private if possible.

Every time I hear the whole "just do bones" argument, I just have to ask you all: Have you ever played solo Q before?

Sure, let me just get my three random teammates, who I can't communicate with in any way, to realize that the killer is only running three perks and that therefore NOED is in play so someone needs to to all 5 bones. Also, you don't know how many bones are left in the match so a teammate might go searching for a totem already done. Now, if said killer turns out to be running pentimento, I guess you are just screwed.

"Just Do Bones" is the most Killer-Biased Statement the same way that "Just Wait for DH" is the most Survivor-Biased Statement.

In just one statement you clearly show case a complete and utter lack of understanding of what the other side has to do in order to win.

If you unironically think that "Do Bones" is a legitimate strategy against NOED, I can say without a doubt that you do not understand the balancing of the game. For example, Why survivors even think NOED is in play before the endgame in the first place? There is no warning before it activates!

It does not shock me that the people who support NOED have no understanding of the games mechanics because only bad killers use NOED. If you are good at the game, other perks can be far more effective. You use NOED if you are either using an End Game Build, or you can't keep gens up and secure a kill.

Full Disclosure, the main reason why I hate NOED has everything to do with how BHVR balances their game and Wraith. They love their statistics, especially their kill rates. Guess which perk heavily screws with that data? NOED. Guess which M1 killer got nerfed after being just decent because a bunch of people played him with NOED? Wraith.

I am sorry for being so rude, but "Just Do Bones" and "Just Wait for DH" are my two personal most hated arguements that I keep seeing pop up again and again.

I am a solo survivor that is able to do all bones, but i have a very hot take for you; Run any totem related perk, either boons, or better even Overzealous. The moment you can use the totems for something good, i assure you every random teammate is out to do bones, at least that happens to me when i tried to test overzealous.

You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference.

Hmm, so do you believe this growth only happens during the endgame? So, even if a killer uses noed, he cant learn anything in the games where he indeed finishes of all survivors before gens are done?

And even if endgame comes, a kiler hasn´t grown during the game?

If a killer uses only noed in a game, instead of the full array of metaperks, he is still risking nothing?

So, is the best way to grow in this game to be afk and only play the endgame, because thats where your growth is happening? Or is this just nonsence to push on a personal point of view?

I mean, noed is only relevant in the endgame, so how does it prevent you from improving during the rest of the game. maybe i am wrong, and you can explain that?
