Played against a Leatherface last night named (This Strat Works).
I don't think I have to elaborate on how the match went.
-
In my experience, we don't always stomp any Killers.
SKILLED Killers can stomp solo Survivor teams even using Killers like Legion and Trapper, (emphasis on skilled).
-
Time will reveal everything. Get off Twatter, it's garbage.
-
2nd game Wraith camps every hook.
Am I just being matched with low rank baddies? I can't tell.
-
1st game Huntress downs and camps my friend on the ground entire match.
######### is going on?
-
Three DC's in one match and, I'm assuming many more in other matches and the OP still can't believe there might be a problem.
-
LOOK AT THE BONES!!!
-
Would be nice to know currently how many Red ranked Survivors compared to Red ranked Killer's.
If the disparity is as wide as I believe it is. You Killer's will be waiting a long time for a MMR que.
-
A lot can be achieved by simply securing a favorable 3 gen.
-
Just give up the Saloon gen, why would you want to try to protect that thing? Total time killer.
-
We can't separate the players on skill, The 2k try hards won't have anyone to smash.
-
We already got Trickster.

Failure to create new content outside of a new survivor/killer every 3 months. The last new thing added to this game, and the only thing in memory since the games inception, was the Archives/Rift, in 2019?
Definitely agree with breakable walls. Dumbest idea that won't die or be removed because it's some top developers baby. Just an idiotic time waster that forces the killer to lose a chase.
We did just get a killer with AI so, I give them a little credit there.
-
Springtraps chase music...
Dumb dumb dee dumb dumb
Dumb dee dumb dee dumb

A failure to incorporate playing both sides of the game.
We have two entitled sides that meta game each other. Largely because they are so invested in that one side of the game.
If more players actually played Killer for fun. Que times would be better and more games could be casual.
It's too late now, the stigmas are set in and, people are dead set in the side they want to play.
If the game had selected which player to be Killer randomly, we would all share the experience of Killer and, we would all know the pros and cons of each side. That ship has sailed, the community would never accept it now.
-
Don't quit just Alt-tab, take a piss, watch some memes and, check back in few.
-
Their power would be to force me to Alt-tab.

No, you're asking why we can't have mediocre killers. Implicitly, you're asking for killers who are inherently capped so no matter how good a player is, their performance will be limited by the character (i.e.: inherently bad killers). Again, don't change the subject to players' skills.
No, I'm saying that Killers that don't live up to the current Meta get complained about and demanded buffs to compensate for lack of skill.

What's the point in playing them? When you can pick x killer and do much better?
A challenge? Would you prefer Survivors just roll over and die on their own free will? Would that be fun?
-
I've been wrecked by a good player using Legion.

What does that have to do with anything? You're literally asking for mediocre killers, so I'm addressing that idea. Don't change the subject, please.
You said the Killers were inherently bad. Many people think Trapper is unplayable, certainly not S tier yet, a skilled player can win with him.
-
@Orion said:
Do you think it's fun for players when they can't do well because their character is inherently bad?
Is the Killer bad or the player? Just watch Otz play Trapper.
-
The "benefit" is to lessen the pressure on the Killer side making the match easier for Killer.
It's also why DS and BT are so popular.
Nothing much to be done about it though. If you get tunneled, gg and re-Q.
-
It's a map style that certainly wasn't designed for a game of DBD and, I find it both refreshing and frustrating.
-
Loop Til Daylight.
There are some good tips here but, if you want to be able to enjoy Survivor, you will need to learn some looping techniques and map awareness. There are just too many ways to break a stealthy player and your team will often need you to take some heat eventually.
I'm sure you can find some videos explaining the basics on Youtube and, the tutorial bot match is a good place to practice against a bad Killer with no pressure.

Nice! I never thought about that combo before!
Just be warned, the stars really have to align for it to work and mostly you just wasted two perks, lol!

I don't care about winning. I care about 'IMPROVING' while having 'FUN'
I would love to find a different and fun build with Blight, but because I'm not running slowdown gens get knocked out really quick.
Agreed, the comment was directed at those who sweat to win and, can't let go of the crutch perks or try something new.
-
Making a great save play for a teammate always feels good!
When the stars align and Breakout / Sabotage pays off!
-
Only YOU can change Meta gaming.
When you let go of "winning" and find other reasons to play.
-
Balance cannot be achieved. Just look at how much tournament competitive matches need to control the situational aspects of the game to try make a fair competition.
Play for fun and try not to be a jerk is about all you can do. I know that's asking a lot.

Yes, it still is. Survivors purposefully running the old object of obsession to be able to relay the killer's location to their team mates while happily juking and looping the killer has shown that quite clearly.
Having your aura revealed as survivor is no danger, the killer still has to actually catch you. All it does is tell the killer where to look for you, that's literally it.
I don't know about that. Spirits main downfall is that she can't actually see you while phased. If you gave her that information because you are revealed, she is way faster than you while phased.
It was really more of just a thought, should this mechanic have a counter? It's one of the biggest gripes on the forum, that Spirit gives no information and has no counter.
Wraith and Freddy invisibilty has no counter until they are very close. I understand some information Perks already exist, many people seem to think that is enough, possibly it is.
I'm not ignoring other information Perks, this is an idea specifically and only to reveal Killers while they are invisible and also reveal yourself to them. I think a counter like this makes sense given the game has adopted a system of counters for everything. It would also open doors for other Invisible mechanics for new Killers and concepts that wouldn't be too oppressive if there is an actual counter for those situations.
Spine Chiil tells you nothing when a Spirit is mindgaming you for example.

2x better than normal dbd. But normal dbd is a low bar, so that's not really saying much. It's like saying "Well this poop tastes terrible but it's better than it used to be! Cheers!"
It's good enough to play and interact with forums though?

No. Just normal human sizes like Pig/Ghostface/Legion
Oh, totally fine, no problem.
-
I think if you had predictable Bloodpoint bonuses every weekend, the game would be dead during the week. People would play something else and wait for the bonus on the weekend.
-
Well, Victor is not much fun as Survivor.
I know some people advocate for Chucky... I really can't go through hundreds of matches of that, I just can't.
-
The point is to make you suffer, one way or the other.
-
I would marry Kate.
Ash is my favorite though.
-
So, we are shooting for 75% Kill rate?
-
Well, I get it probably more than others but, my in game name tends to trigger people.
-
I disagree it was 2x better than normal.
-
During daytime, (non-peak), Survivor Q is pretty short, within a couple minutes. During the evening, (peak hours) it can be around ten minutes. Which would be fine if matchmaking actually paired me with similar ranks but, it doesn't.
I'm not surprised you dont face many Red rank Survivors, I honestly don't think there are that many to being with.
-
Twins are in a bit of a unique situation.
I would trade a shorter CD on succesful pounce for an actual CD on Victor that isn't like 5 seconds long. You kick the damn thing and he comes right back.
But, I am severely biased in the fact that I don't like anything about Twins since I first saw them in PTB and, nothing about Victor respawining in her chest makes any sense to me.
-
Nemesis isn't that powerful.
He's not bad, He's not great. Overall, I think he's fairly balanced.
-
Just food for thought. I think the main reason I think this could be reasonalbe would be to finally end the debate of no counter to Spirit without nerfing Spirit altogether.
-
I'm not sure why the game can't handle more Zombies, maybe now that we have some AI, further development can be worked out.
I've seen the Devs have interest in Walking Dead I.P. Sounds perfect for adding zombies to every match and, some loved Survivors.
More Zombies with tools to counter them sounds like fun to me.

Wraith is visible though?
Only within a certain distance, at that point it would cut off.

Ehh, no. As a Killer, it'd be pissed if a Survivor had a gun that could stun me over range in an instant. Like an insta-flashlight I can't avoid.
That's a free rescue from a carry, that 4 survivors can bring into a match, each. No way. Never.
Understood, I would worry about guns effecting Killers as well, could be too much.
Thats why I would like to see a zombie focus to weapons.
-
@Pat00tSack said:
I always say how I wish there could be an ultra rare gun item that's single use (one bullet) that's an aim-to-stun deal. Now that flashbangs exist, it's easier to explain cause they'd basically have the same function. Just an idea that could be neat. Item description could sorta explain away the empty holsters (entity is a toolbag and it takes people's guns and has a sort of gun lost and found box that ends up in bloodwebs or chests)
One shot stun might be too much, maybe if you had to land 3 shots to stun or a head shot.
Otherwise, add zombies to every match in a Walking Dead chapter that we can shoot at. Nemesis would benefit from having his own two more zombies than other Killers.
Shooting also creates a notification for the Killer.

Thanks
i don’t know any thing about Ash, but i guess there are a bunch of killer ideas. Maybe someday at least via Legendary skins, like CryptTV!
In the Evil Dead movies, the Survivors get possessed by a demon. My thinking was that the Demon would be Invisible and have to stalk a Survivor until you possess them. While Possessed you would control the Survivor for a set time, undectable to other survivors. The possessed Survivor would have a flurry of skill checks and each succesful check would reduce the amount of time you are possessed.
There is a lot more to work out than that but, that was my general idea.

Thanks, I like your Ideas of possesion. I thought Ash should have come with a Possesion Killer. Always had a hard time trying to work that out.
