They just want to buy an extra 24 hours of quiet before they announce MFT/Buckle Up/vault nerfs and 90% of the killer roster is playable again.
People was saying 90% of the roster was unplayable way before that tho.

If you look at the most popular perk picks killer seems a bit odd on Nightlight, the 8th most popular choice for example is Lightborn and no other perk and the 11th most popular is all of the Singularity’s perks and no forth perk.
The Survivor perks seem a bit more reasonable but it still looks like a site where there’s just not enough information.
i never seen lightborn even in the top 25 on nightlight. I don't monitor it every day though so I'll take your word for it.

"Spread pressure" - on Disturbed Ward where gens are miles away from each other
"skill issue" - Yep, playing around 3 god pallets, need to break a stupid breakable wall next to the god window and outplay a junglegym is clearly a skill issue
"I main Nurse" - Yepp, clearly a skill-issue on my part. I havent figured out how to teleport through walls with Wesker. Need to improve and to get good, I guess. Unfortunately, I just run around walls.
"play a better killer, he is overplayed, idiot" - I assume there are more than 2 killers viable against these SWFs, aye? Or are 30 killers just sacrifices when you face these kind of teams?
While all 5 gens were powered after 5:03min. - I assume this is a long time and I just have to get good
Clearly skill-issue, right, community?
"he's ugly and annoying" lol who be making these type of players man.

The MFT arc is quite hilarious. The only time i ever seen mathematicians from across the world all come together on the dbd forums to discuss a perk. Quantifying every step and breaking down every nanosecond.

My match time was 3 minutes. 3 gens in 50 seconds, 2 in 2 minutes. How am I supposed to fight that?
I guarantee you that didn't happen. not in that time frame

Better off just gutting one thing about her kit than waiting for a whole rework that might never happen. The devs shouldn't waste much more time on her.

NA the bouns shift constantly throughout the day. Maybe I'm just lucky

Because in statistics, population is everything.
An English website that tracks volunteered information and is, at minimum, subject to user bias in submissions should be taken as exactly that and no more.
It's an interesting read, but to extrapolate that it's somehow better and more accurate than BHVR's 100% of the player base statistics is insane and grossly incorrect.
The margin of error can be incredibly large. Nightlight doesn't even usually include self care in the top 10 perks. BHVR consistently has self care in the top 5, usually the top 3. That's a massive difference.
fair enough. perks like spin chill and self care are well off the mark. I still feel like it pretty accurate
-
"Creating a patrol path often feels like piloting a bumper car in a hedge maze."
omg that exactly how it feel
-
I don't understand why people continue to disregard nightlight numbers. Most of the time they are only a couple percentages off from behavior stats. Within the margin of error

Trickster: Allow him to hold the main event already.

TCM
For killer I'm happy that i can play with friends. survivor with friends meet kill with friends!! For survivor i like that it muplite ways to excape. Keep the game fresh and it allow u to constantly change up your gameplan. Most importantly camping a area or focusing one survivor with the whole family for to long time can be extremely risky.
dislike how clumsy opening and closing doors can be.
DBD
The number 1 thing i like about dbd is the chase. That split second decision you have to make arouund a loop. The constant testing of your reflexes, the misdirection, the doubling back, and all the rest of the endless mind games. DBD GOATED!!!!!!!!!!
Dislike the grind. Even tho behavior give bloodpoints away like it candy these days the grind to get every character prestige 3 is insane. you need well over a 1000 hours and probably 1500 if u mainly play survivor. Honestly the time probably way more than that.

mommy merchant!
I'm fully expose come track me down

i can't!!! ps4 baby

I'm in support for any buff involving billy.

At a very causal level the game could be kinda impossible but for the most part all the roles are winnable. My main problem is the absurd amount of time that is needed to even be ok at this game. Also the match making which almost guarantee you a lopsided trail every few games. Solo q is winnable but a terrible experience because half of the games are already chalk from the beginning.

i wonder how difficult it would be to get a character that big tho?

MFT should get the endurance remove in my opinion or possibly rework entirely.
With that being said do yall remember when otz imply that scavenger was still broken after the ptb nerf........yeah?
Think for yourself guys. Play with/against these perks and come to your own conclusion.

deathslinger my favorite but Billy probably the most fun once u get pass the learning phase

I personally would love to see Maps and Keys more useful.
In the COH era i was actually seeing maps an ok amount of the time. Like once every 10 games or so which isn't bad. Now i can go 100 games without seeing a single map on average. I still see keys a little bit just because of the wall hack bloody amber addon. I think the keys should just be remove for a more modern item.
left behind, clairvoyance, even the map with a certain addon can find the hatch. We don't need keys.
-
Survivors need new items PEROID! At least one new item a year. I know the bloodweb already crowded but survivor need something new outside of just perks. Every 3 months killers players get a new new edition to the roster with different mechanics to interact with and master. Survivors remain the same despite being such large amount of the community. Things like plot twist and chemical trap are super interesting but they are all perk.
-
Haven't seen it do anything crazy yet. The perk alright but it just to random for me. The gen gotta pop when u chasing someone at main building to get any real consistent vaule in my experience. At shack or a jungle gym the survivor just get to the pallet still. It can be powerful randomly or useleas half of the time. Not for me

feel like a damn maze under the dock in both swamp maps. That my only problem with them

i play killer about 60% survivor 40%
I definitely consider myself a survivor main but killer just more fun most of the time. Play every other day for about 5 hours. Ending the week around 15 to 20 hours total most of the time.

E still going strong baby!!

Meaning they didn't pick her to be toxic, run the most obnoxious builds possible or force hour long matches?
Because I honestly couldn't tell you one fun thing about her kit. I hate Blight with a passion as a survivor but there's no doubt it's a blast ping ponging around like a madman. I think Nurse is busted but for sure teleporting and predicting survivor movement is extremely engaging. Even Trapper you can get creative with the trap placement, you herd survivors into your traps.
But SM? Just press a button at a gen or pallet and walk away. You hit a button to place a drone or you look at her radar or you move a little faster and that's the extent of the interaction you have with her power.
Most of the skull merchant players i went against really enjoy her oddly enough. Also most of them was pretty nice and rarely camp the 3 gen. I'm definitely in the minority as i seen plenty streamers get the most toxic version of her possible.

Survivor is easy though. If you run Sole Survivor in your build you will escape the majority of the time even when your terrible solo q teams bite it. Because you can open the gates so fast the killer can't stop you.
Windows of Opportunity allows you to run safely very easily and if you know how to loop at all the killer will l leave you or he will throw the match by over commiting to you.
Between Windows and Sole Survivor I lose maybe 1 out of ever 5 games.
Then you have 2 flex slots. For MFT for chases, or Clairvoyance to find hatch. You can also use any of the busted endurance perks for extra health states if you aren't good enough to loop right
are you another one of them dbd forum users who win 90% of their solo q matches? Yall really gotta stream man so we can stop watching JRM go 6 in 15 everyday.

Any reasons why they say that?
Blocking aura really isn't that impactful to put it short. The main reason why people say it bad? They can't see when they getting vaule from it. If a survivor is hinder you can see the speed decrease or if a survivor is oblivious u can sneak up. These status effects the killer can see are working. For blindness you just hope for the best and even if the survivor was running aura reading you wouldn't know into the end game. People tend to downplay perks they can't physically see working. That why perks like leverage and overwhelming presence never get use. Yeah they got bad effects but u also don't see when they are helping. That also why it took killers years to start even noticing windows of opportunity despite it pick rate being pretty high since patch 5.3.0.
-
killer:
mini corrupt- the strong killers can down fast already so this will mainly help the set up killers
grim embrace: Buff the duration but it only can trigger if all survivors are alive.
Survivor:
Mini variation of soul survivor- Allow both of the last two survivors to receive the repair speed buff. (less hatch hiding hopefully)
poised- Mainly to help the last two survivors again. Just trying to reduce hatch hiding.

For me it's Cybil. She's one of my mains and I rarely see her ever- granted you have to pay extra for legendary characters so I get that.
I also have a soft spot for Haddie.
What are some survivors/killers that you play that you don't see much?
For survivor definitely jeff! The one fit with the mask cover being the main reason why. The cosmetic spoke to me!!
For killer it trickster simply for his trick blades. i despise going up against him but he pretty fun to actually play. Same with knight but he's way more popular than trickster

Not even a killer. Bunch of useless survivors just chasing looking for a flash light save instead of doing a generator. Half the time they don't even realize the dire situation the team is in if they don't start doing anything productive in the match.
Wish they nerfed this item to oblivion instead of medkits 💀
*Edit
In fact I think Flashlights are really good but most survivor don't even know how to use it without throwing the match and is way too 'altruistic' for their own good. Only do saves when you're in the vicinity, Chasing after the killer and survivor getting chased is just free pressure.
95% of the time in solo q they miss. Hilarious
-
two or more flashlights in the lobby = dodge.

It certainly is okay in some situations. If my "team" never so much as looks in the direction of a gen in the first 5 minutes and is instead off trading hooks and trying (i.e. failing) for flashlight saves I see nothing wrong with bowing out. If they aren't going to put in some effort to progress the match, I'm under no obligation to stick around and help them lose slower. Making moral absolutist statements about a mostly gray situation is pretty silly. There are situations where they're obviously wrong, like going down 20 seconds in and trying to suicide immediately. However, in my experience that's fairly rare. I actually see DC's more often, oddly enough. I guess if they're "that type" they're more likely to take the quick twitch reaction of hitting "Leave Game" than wait until they're on hook to decide.
P.S. Apparently censored posts get uncensored in the reply box when you quote them. Weird.
fair enough. If the team look completely hopeless and your 5nins in i could understand that a bit more.
-
hopefully tombstone peice
-
you could nerf windows but something would need to be done about the massive learning curve of maps. Killer can load into a game full of bots and learn the layout of of each map but survivors can't. Learning pallet spawns in a real match can be difficult as u trying to focus on other things. Give survivors a way to practice too! everybody don't have friends to play custom matches with.
-
sheeshhhh
-
i don't care what excuse these players give... it will never be ok to ######### over your team.
