on a marvel rivals vacation right now but i still plan to buy the killer. Will always support the new content for dbd. He look fun to play as at least.
-
for killer: corrupt intervention
for survivor: SB
if it was a survivor who never miss any skill checks ever regardless of the difficulty than hyper focus probably the best. Such a person probably doesn't exist

ooverall yeah. killer pretty fun and survivors as long as u in bare minimum 2stack. The vast majority of the events/game modes are fun as well. The only issue is solo q trash

best chapter with a great design killer.

No, 2v8 needs to come back ASAP
The 2v8 feel like a utopia version of solo q. The vast majority of survivors get their fun from looping in this game and 2v8 provide infinite resources. I commend the devs for making the game more balanced but survival fun have only decreased. You need to win from a efficiency standpoint these days as killers anti loop only gotta strong. It went from huntress 50-50s at pallets to 80/20 in favor of mage hand vector. It's a good thing that skill survivors can't loop killers all day anymore though. They just need to dial back the dead zones a little bit
-
nahhhhh
i mainly love the game because how well they adapt licence killers. SWFing in a 4 stack can be fun but winning all day get tedious. solo q the exact opposite... it's not even that uncommon to go on 10-game losing streaks according to many. This is my favorite game but solo q absolutely dog $hit. Playing with my friend @HerInfernalMajesty in a duo is the perfect amount fun.

Is it possible to get controller fast vaults between windows with a parallel object (i.e a chair), that’s 3 feet away?
Any tips on how to do this? No matter what I try, I can’t nail it. Streamers on keyboard make this look effortless while in chase.
It's one of those i can show u better than i can tell you things. The vast majority of windows can be fast vaulted from any angle regardless of platform. I mainly play on ps5 but can also fast vault most windows on switch. If u legit wanna learn how we can run custom matches.

Nurse- best perk no where to hide. best counter was distortion....might still be
pig- hex face the darkness is probably the popular pick but I'm going with brutal strength. She just get kill by pre drops. The best counter to most stealth killers is sprint burst
wraith- sloppy butcher. Any perk that allow you to reset quickly
chucky- honestly it just gen defense. counter sprint burst
wesker- best perk brutal strength. hyper focus stake out go crazy against his TR
trapper- The popular answer corrupt but i think agitation go stupid on him. You go in the basement against him and he's running bloody coil your basically just dead. He's actually efficient at camping basement unlike huntress or bubba because he don't need to come back to the trap go off. Counterpick wall hacking perks so u can see where he setting up.
Ghost face- best coup de grace. counterpick spin chill
legoin- new legion move faster and cancel fatigue faster so blood favor maybe? get no diff by made for this
skull merchant- battery....because it give survivors PTSD of the old merchant. counter sprint burst
spirit- whatever cause exhaustion. Iron will

If survivors couldnt mindlessly go in a circle multiple time there would be no end of complaints lol. They already don't like sitting on gens, being tunneled (yet they like to be chased), don't like being bored being slugged (even tho they don't mind being bored on the hook). Let them have their scooby doo circles.

Can we have Hag and Deathslinger's smaller ones back, then?
hag definitely. The supposed problem with a 24 M Slinger is Monitor And Abuse but.... that argument don't hold up that well anymore.
and this is going off on a tangent here. Undetectable have been massively power creep recently to the point that any killer can have 0TR most of the game. If slinger tr being low is problematic for gameplay counter then why is undetectable so easily available these days. unpopular opinion i think unforeseen is overpowering bs personally but that whole different conversation.

First off it depends on the killer and the type of survivors you go against and also it’s not really a big deal there’s nothing wrong with it. If it’s killers like nurse, billy, oni or bubba then I can understand why it’s a problem but if it’s a killer like wraith pig Ghostface etc I don’t think survivors should complain because 9 out of 10. A lot of survivors of many tools against M1 killers. Plus there’s nothing wrong with tunneling if you don’t want gens fly by too fast. It’s ok to slug for a 4k there’s nothing wrong with that. And camping for a kill or 2 is nothing wrong with that either. The problem is some survivors expect certain kilelrs to not earn a kill by doing so. So basically you just got to do what you have to do.
It pretty obvious because solo q have 0 coordination which is needed to counter tactics. I would argue all the tactics have sufficient counterplay when the team have 4 competent teammates (so almost never in solo q). Tactics like slugging and camping can be quite detrimental to do if survivors are well organized. Solo q is a $hit show because u often default lose for not having coordinator plays. Kinda make it feel like skill just don't matter. It about the same feeling when survivors endlessly pre drop safe pallets against a m1 killers on strong maps. survivors will never stop complaining about the tactics no matter how strong the tools are to combat it. If you don't have the coordination to use the tools than it dosen't matter. Slugging, camping, etc are necessary evils to keep all killers viable to a certain extent but theere need to be a way to coordinate at base. people been begging for kinderd forever
-
great work devs. I like the terror radius change especially.
-
breaking ######### to be able to proceed constantly is tedious. I feel like bubba in tcm sometimes. I'm not playing to do chores and the turrets can't really be ignored. Being constantly bombarded with flames only agitate me.
Power level wise alien fine but i just don't like using him.
-
The 2v8 just more action pack which i much prefer

What are some of your favorite Survivor descriptions? The introduction text on the Survivor select screen makes them sound so legendary, it’s incredible.
Like for Cheryl it’s, “Cheryl Mason is a young veteran of terror, emboldening both herself and her team.” Wow, that inspires deep respect right off the bat.
Or Vittorio, “Vittorio has endlessly wandered through the fog attempting to learn its secrets, for ages.” I just imagine this mystical traveler emerging from mist. It’s like stuff of legends.
Haddie, “Haddie is a brave and determined podcaster with the ability to see and feel places of great suffering she calls Overlaps” To be this in-tune and clued in to actually see supernatural stuff while retaining your bravery blows my mind.
These descriptions make the Survivors sound like superheroes. It’s phenomenal.
It’s easy to fall in love with Killer design, story, essence etc. but these Survivor descriptions almost exalt (some of them) as agents of light. I just really love how Behavior gives Survivors their own fulfilling showcase.
What descriptions resonate with you? Which are your favorite? And why?
i really like built to last description.
-
forgot about the unknown. they should definitely add him the players love him. Scout will really mess him up in this mode though. constantly knowing his position could make it easy to remove weakness outta chase.
-
sam?
-
i hate sanctum mainly because the main building is full of weak windows that connect into nothing. I actually like sanctum 2 because there way more tiles near the main building from every direction.
for killer azarovs
basically feel like a 2v8 map! pallets everywhere and big as $hit. 3 genning is mandatory so the game just me dropping chase constantly. Zzzzzzzz
-
i never had a universal build for killer. If i playing to win I'll usually equip corrupt and no where. Most of the time I go for Synergy over just strong perks. For survivor my go to build hyper focus, state out, scavenger, fog wise. Commodious wire/swivel.

Actually, Nurse and Twins with instadowns (survivors being injured the whole match) is way more scary.
i just don't see how a oni moving at the speed of light with a better turning rate than blight/Billy is comparable to nurse. I understand that nurses have the best anti loop but we talking about a oni who permanently in his ability. Besides it's not like they guarantee to stay injure! some will heal. Either way oni more lethal in both scenarios in my opinion.
Twins literally wouldn't even work in this mode. Much like hag they whole kit is design off of one tactic and deviating from it will drop them significantly. Every survivors have Unbreakable which means you going to have to actually pick up. If you have to run across the map to pick up every body you definitely gonna lose. gens go way too quick in the 2v8 for that. No deer stalker so you better hope they don't start crawling.

That's my fear as well. There's a few killers I really don't care for, because I don't play them and they're annoying to go against as survivor. Oni is one of them, so he's not a priority addition to this mode for me at all. They'd have to not give him any blood orb add-ons base, and extend the blood orb stall to getting uncaged (like when you get off hook and it doesn't spawn them for a while).
And idk, maybe that's one instance where 2 killers should be banned from playing with each other, Legion and Oni. If you design a killer around being really strong, like S+ tier, when he's in his power, and his power is fueled by survivors being injured, I think a killer whose ability is to mass injure shouldn't be able to be used in conjunction. That's a totally fair limit on killer power, in this instance.
yeah it just a problematic combo. He would be fine with just about any other killer pairing. Oni the strongest killer in game when in his ability so it definitely need to be handle carefully.

I feel like Oni having a permanent ability all game because of Legion and Plague wouldn't be worse than Nurse with those two. Since they keep survivors injured all game anyways, having an instadown could be kinda redundant. And as for his antiloop aspect, Nurse is far more threatening, not the mention the havoc the Twins could cause in a full permanent injured team.
Dredge could be very interesting and scary. Just imagine bumping into a Bubba in the middle of nightfall.
A nightfall bubba would scare the 💩 out of me.

It seems that BHVR has settled in adding 3 new killers per iteration of 2v8. Also, it seems that they have been adding mainly killers that are very popular or that are simple in design and don't require much adjustments. If they want to be fair, they could add 2 simple chase killers and one more complex macro killer.
Based on that, if I were to guess the next killers, it would be:
Oni: Very popular and doesn't need many changes.
Clown: Simple straight forward chase killer.
Doctor: A bit more complex macro killer that would work as both a support or an all-rounder.
Who do you guys think are gonna be the next ones to enter the roster?
doctor and clown should fit fine. i don't wanna see a permanent ability oni all match because of legion. I'm not against adding him but he would definitely need changes.
hoping for dredge, doc, artist myself

I am sending in a video clip now so I don't get banned but I am hoping the community already knows about this and if not well, here we go.
I basically used my power, and it bugged out causing me major lag spikes and server issues. I was teleporting and moving at insane speeds. Even through pallets and Vaults!
If you need me to make a ticket on it I will. I also flagged this game by an in game report as well.
start your DBD YouTube career off with this video.
ttitle- This is what a prestige 100 knight look like.

I think he's alright in the base mode.
It's way more easier to get rid of the infection in the 2v8 compare to the 1v4. The zombie buffs don't really offset that. There's so many pallets they could at least start him off in tier2 for the 2v8
-
these accounts spawn in and just get stright to work. honestly it almost respectable
-
Got to! it damn near common courtesy
A lot of times survivors will be bouncing before the killer even get near the exit gates. That's because survivors mainly teabag at the exit gate to celebrate they win with other survivors. Doesn't matter if the Killer there or not.

I like Trapper tbh. He's cool until he runs out od trqps. Managing traps and survivors is a tricky micromanagement game
i think he just more enjoyable in the 1v4 because of the resetting stone irl. it just to many damn people running around disabling traps in 2v8.
