I had this happen once, they were on my shoulder when the timer ran out and it bugged.

The way you confirm questions is very annoying...
Using Dead Hard as a way to bait a hit is absolutely stupid, and no one with a small amount of skill does that. Also, the way dead hard works is like any other exhaustion perk, it is made to increase chase time. There are no second chances involved, the perk just helps you increasing looping time. Also, all survivors use those perks because they are the most prejudicial to killers, they delay the game more. The way DS works is related to how the killer behaves when chasing survivors, and since tunneling is very effective because you need 4 survivors to have a chance of winning, Ds will forever be a perk. And honestly, survivors hook bombing is good for you, you dont even need to look for survivors or patrol gens, they just give you free kills and you are complaining
Loop hard is a second chance perk because nobody is going to use it just to do one more round of the safe loop... they use it in a situation that they screwed up in to reach the next loop or correct a mistake
They should be dead, hence a second chance perk.
-
to the survivors going WAAA! NOED BAD! Is it really that hard to open a door and leave?
Your swf carry squad should usually have someone waiting at the door before the last gen is completed anyway so... ######### are you doing, to be downed by a single killer, that is still subject to physical barriers like pallets and windows?
-
You balance mettle of man by leaving it as is and forget about it.
Use your purchase as a reminder to never buy anything in this game within a month of release or for a single perk.
-
Wait till after they nerf her.
You are better off putting your time and energy in spirit.
-
Hillbilly has been confirmed to be the next to suffer the nerf bat.
They are going to change his addons to useless trash so he can't "insta saw" because that is the main thing survivors complain about and probably just give him meme iridescents like nurse that nobody would ever run unless they want to derank.

The higher the rank, the stricter the rules to pip, sadly.
This explains why i am getting a safety pip if all the gens get done but survivors die after 3 hooks each and the one that escapes is on 2 hooks.....
This kind of destroys survivor arguments that killers should be happy with 2 or 3 kills, the game literally tells you that you did bad and need to kill all 4 before the gens are done if you wish to advance rank.

I hate that you completely ignored the purpose of the subject and concentrated on the DC'ing part
I dont usually DC as you imagine, but a killer exploiting and gaining an unfair advantage will make me DC 100 % .
I hope now its more clear and easier on the brain to comprehend :)
so it is fine to DC when haddonfield loads expecting balanced landing?
That is a clear exploit to.
-
The consistency is just an excuse to nerf the better killers.. They are going to take away the good add-ons and replace them with pointless status affects and have harsh negatives to anything good that they had.
-
I don't have an issue with the fact that they are charging money for items. What i do have an issue with is how they go about it.
The prices are to high for what the item is.
The way they cost their items so you are always left with some small amount of auric cells left over instead of being genuine and charging round numbers that match up with the packs they sell (this is my main issue, the mobile like psychology is predatory)
The extreme grind required to buy a piece for free.
Charge less, make more things to sell and sell them in lots of 1000 instead of 1028 while selling auric packs the way they do, and i wouldn't have such an issue.
-
Thats the point.. base characters are always made bland or ugly so you pay up to look somewhat decent.

These ######### killAr mAinZ tears are the best.
Do you want to stop playing killer? That's A-W-E-S-O-M-E;
for a killer main like me it means I'll finally find games faster (because, ya know, even if you're so delusional to always say "Devs aRe SrvivorS faVoUr'd!!!11", there are too many killers compared to survivors now).
For everyone else with a reasonable iq, let's see on the PTB how these changes will affect the Nurse in general. If it's too heavy, let's give them feedback for a slight tweak (buff) and that's all.
This was a "slight" nerf, so a "slight" buff would be giving her the base power back.

I still think she’ll be good, if she isn’t then she can always be adjusted before hitting live.
nice joke.

If you make the survivors unique, then everyone will play the op ones and nothing else. We already see this with claudette.

I play killer and survivor on and off mostly, and I dunno what the problem is with adrenaline is. Gen times could be better tbh, or at least more tolerable on both sides, and decisive is honestly fine as it is. It punishes you for focusing down and being an dick to someone
The decisive comment is true, but it can also be weaponised by survivors.
SWF in particular use decisive in conjunction with borrowed time to get saves that they should not be able to get, or they use it to interfere with a chase and block the killer from downing their team mate.
It is also just plain unfair when they just run into you because they were not looking and you can't do anything but leave them there or eat the stun and lose emblem progress.
As for the topic, spirit is boring to play against if they have decent sound equipment. They can hear you moving or groaning if injured.
If they want to balance her then they need to force the chase music to continue to play while in phase mode if it was already playing when the spirit entered it.

Agree a second objective is quite necessary and the objective points that comes with it should balance survivor points more.
But that WGLF needs some love. It is no where near BBQ, has no benefit other than extra bp and most of the time can't even get stacks
What benefit would you give wglf that isn't second chance perk #200 or is detrimental to the killer?
The only thing i would agree to is merging wglf with kindred.

While I agree it's mindgameable, it would be vastly better as a tile if you couldn't clearly see through every single wall from both sides.
This, ######### can you see through the shack so easily? it should be solid.

I agree but since I’m not finding any good use for portals I’m personally not feeling it too much. Portals to me feel like well let’s teleport here to see if someone’s around. And if no one is there I’m now searching for people wasting time when I know I could have walked to areas where I know there is a big possibility that they would be there but dont have a portal in.
at least with Freddy I can fake teleport people off gens or chase someone into a gen then teleport to it and if they see it I can always cancel. Once you go into the portal for the demo that’s that. Can’t go back or anything.
This is one of the main things that destroy demogorg, the cooldown on his ability. There should never be a cooldown on an ability that can be destroyed.
-
points 1,2,3and 4 offset anything else. chase mechanics are more important than oh they can't hear you on this wide open map with swf using coms.
-
well... if they update billys add-ons, say good by to anything decent and hello to +30 seconds of blindness.
i would rather they leave insta saw alone.

@AetherBytes said:
If this happens, killers need a buff to keep up and equilize it. Survivors will get their info, killers will get enough power to deal with SWF.
I don't really care what happens, but solo survivors have been left in the dirt and it needs to change.
-
Nerf sound so even people giving themselves hearing damage can't pinpoint survivors during phase.
problem solved.

It makes no sense that Plaid Flannel is such a rare add-on. Experienced Nurse players don't need it, inexperienced players do, but they're not going to have it on her because it's so rare... Very backwards. By the time you've gotten a few in your Bloodweb you don't need them, anymore.
(This isn't really directed at you, I just wanted to complain about Plaid Flannel for a moment.)
And again, to all the people talking about crosshairs you can use on your monitor... that doesn't help console players. We can't install a nifty little crosshair, and I doubt most of us want to draw on our televisions. It's harder to aim on console than on PC, and it's also harder to get a crosshair on console than on PC. So we're just getting screwed both ways.
You can use a monitor with a console and the crosshair is programmed into the monitor and does not need a pc to use it. even cheap ones have it now $80-150
-
anyone that complains about this probably abuses ds+bt combo to make saves with their swf group.

Survivors command and bhvr execute
Well they do buy all the cosmetics, just Look at the ratio of killer cosmetics to survivor.

Seriously this is one of most annoying for me thing right now, i play on console,i have to deal inconsistent fps, and lower sensitivity yet, now also this.. please change it
It did get changed, survivors went WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! and it got changed back.

Swf destroys this.... this "plan" sums up to just do stuff and stuff happens.
this can also only be accomplished with specific killers like nurse or specific killers that also require specific add-ons like huntress and iri head hatchet.
or plain old potato survivors
-
Plenty of cheap monitors have a crosshair you can turn off and on now. many huntress mains use it in streams and it doesn't show lol.

Pretty hard to apply any map pressure with a killer like Clown. But that's the point, this isn't a gen problem, it's a Clown problem. In my opinion at least. He has no way to apply any proper map pressure.
This is the problem tho.. there post after post from survivors complaining about diversity, and then you basically say its his fault for not playing one of the big 3.
We need to make all killers viable, while nerfing the strong ones once that is done.
Then we get the cry posts that the game is not fun because they can't "play with the killer" any more.

I haven't had this exact issue, but I've had issues with ranking up too fast and not getting back fast enough. When I was grinding Doctor for M&A, I got a ton of 4ks in the scrub ranks because teams just could not handle the skill checks.
The game clearly thought I was awesome and I moved up like 5 ranks, only to get smacked right the ######### back down once I started encountering teams that were unfazed by my game-prolonging shenanigans. It took a couple days of play to derank about halfway and I'm still not sure I am where I should be, but I'm no longer getting roflstomped quite as badly as I was before.
Really looking forward to rank reset so I can level up my other killers without having panic attacks.
Play without ruin and non meta killers, and you stay in the green/ purple ranks quite easily.
-
You bought that dlc for ash not the perk.
-
I have this on base ps4 (not pro) and pc. The base ps4 has trouble with framerate...
Survivors on the ps4 are at full pc strength, there is no difference between playing on console or pc as survivor
Killers are handicapped on ps4 and it is quite unfair, between the forced limited turn speed and framerate issues, it is not a good time.
Imo they need to put limitations on survivors so they can't move so freely on console.
-
nope.
We are not going back to the era of no hooks... if you want to save someone by sabotaging, then you need to sacrifice YOUR TIME and risk yourself by being at the hook when the killer is.
-
You need aussie killers to get aussie killers.
-
This would take time away from making $10-15 cosmetics so it won't happen.

I use Knockout a lot lately, and even against a coordinated SWF on coms Knockout still simultaneously creates stall and extra pressure if none of that team are running aura reading perks or keys. Sure they can communicate where they are but it’s still a little more difficult to find the downed survivor.
I am also using it and for me swf just players get picked up as if i was not running it. They only need to say "right, left a little, run straight" and when they get within the radius they light up like a christmas tree.
-
@FriendlyGuy said:
OoO gets quite balanced with the new status effects. You can't see Wraith, Pig, GF and so on when in stealth mode. Knockout is quite good for slugging, but if you don't want to get slugged, just run anti-slug, there are enough perks against it.
You can see them out of stealth, and being in stealth has penalties.
There is one perk against knockout that you will get to use once in a blue moon. the fact is knockout still does NOTHING against swf because of coms and forces solo survivors to use 1/4 perk slots for something they may or may not need.
If we want to shorten the gap between solo and swf this is one perk that must go.
-
i just go afk if i see OoO they want an easy game, they can have it. I don't watch the lobby and dodge swf so i run into this bs often.
-
They made these perks specifically so they can say "just equip x" but forgot to add 16 perk slots to accommodate them.
There is a thread on here asking to make it take 1 second to stop gen regression after a killer kicks it so survivors can't just tap and go, and a dev is defending it and saying "just use x perk" and "you did it wrong then". Probably forgets SWF exists and solo should not be thought of with balance discussions.
-
A better question would be, what is the survivor pip rate?
Answer these questions.
Do you care if you die when you know you have secured your pip?
Are you more likely to do stupid things that result in your death?

@PoisonHurts said:
Even trutalent someone who is a killer main but still plays both sides a lot, said that some of her addons are overpowered and extremely reduce the amount of skill needed to play her. If you're good at nurse, this "nerf" won't do anything.
They are changing her base kit to. Their version of "slightly" is not slight at all.
-
@GrootDude said:
Legion needed a nerf, the nerf was just too much. Nurse is getting her base slightly nerfed and her add ons reworked. Some add ons will be better and some will be worse.
#NURSEISN’TDEAD
In other words they are taking her power, stripping it down to literally useless, and putting it in the reworked add-ons. AKA deleting her from the game.

We have not even said what we are changing yet. The only thing that we've mentioned is that we'll mostly be focusing on the add-ons. The other changes could be very small for all we know.
Changing blink range destroys her map controll
Making her weak to pallets makes her wraith level
removing her power and putting it in add-ons specifically the pink ones, that are the only ones to ever do anything, destroys her like it has done to every other killer.
There is no way that you can "tweak" her base kit without giving her the legion treatment.
-
Play a killer that can't be looped, aka nurse.
Every other killer will fail against survivors who know the limitations of the game unless you have the best of the best add-ons. even then....
-
I think it is a bug.
Last week i was having issues with pallets where i thought the dev's had done a shadow buff or something. My character would just freeze mid animation the second they started dropping the pallet (they start to reach up) and wait for the pallet to finish dropping before the stun activated, i even had some instances where i was on the survivors side of the pallet and i would get frozen half way through a quick attack, float back through the pallet, and then get stunned.
After this patch tho, i have been landing hits when i should.
-
MYC... so you walk away from the hook and phase back to down the one saving?

If that many survivors believe nurse is broken in the first place, that's a problem. But see for yourself. He's been going against lots of survivors who have been trying their darndest to escape the trial.
They believe she is that broken because they don't play her and keep going against nurses using double range add-ons..
Plus the standard MaH LoOpINg No wOrK!!

Idk what you all were thinking with these pig skins, I really wanted them until I had to realize how damn expensive they were.
Get use to it.. the brain damaged mobile generation say it is ok...
-
If the survivors know about the experiment, then why would the try hard against a killer they all want nerfed to dust?
