It sounds like your Adrenaline popped right before you finished mending; therefore it removed your deep wound automatically, but left you injured. This is intended.
-
I don’t really mind it that much, but I would not care if it was removed. Getting rid of it would not make him overpowered
-
I agree that it’s too strong, but I feel like 8 tokens max is a good number for the perk. I’d rather keep that and instead reduce the bonus per token to 4% (up to 32% maximum).
-
Survivors drop too many blood orbs when vaulting iirc. Instead of 2 you get like 6 or something. The addons that increase the amount of blood orbs when vaulting also don’t work which kinda proves it’s bugged.
-
Imo the only problem with selfcare was the ability to make it not that slow by stacking healing perks, and yet now you basically HAVE to do that to make it worthwhile.
I still think coh is too strong though.
@mischiefmanaged said:
I mean just switch to running Bond and get a teammate to heal you.
I've actually been wondering since the update. Does the self-care nerf also affect CoH? CoH self-care speed was calculated by doing (1 + 0.5) * (1 - 0.5), wouldn't the new formula be (1 + 0.5) * 0.35? Which puts the healing speed at 0.525 charges/s which gives a self-heal speed of around 32 seconds?
I haven't been able to test the actual speed and I haven't heard anyone mention it.
It’s not affected; in fact they actually changed coh’s description to clarify that it is at 50% speed.
-
At this point I don't even want new maps. I want the existing ones to be improved because we have so many badly designed maps in this game
-
It makes it so when you unhook someone they get 15 seconds of haste and endurance instead of 5.
-
I played against a blight earlier who was not using C33 and they said in endgame chat that it didn't work for them either.

Maybe for you but i actually have no issue with the map as once you learn the map you have the upper hand as most do not know it well enough and it is great for killers like dredge or onryeo. Just like most things i found if people dislike something or it is too hard they want to get rid of it and will complain until is.
I know the map pretty well and it definitely helped me out, that still doesn't change that it was boring to play on for me. I actually like most indoor maps unlike a lot of players. Just not this one.
-
Agree with #2, 3, 5, and 6. Especially the action icons.
I do think something needs to be done about tunneling but your suggestion is a bit too much imo. I’d rather they buff the basekit BT + movement speed bonus and change DS back to 5 seconds (keep the other nerf it got) and see how that goes. I also think hook stage duration should be increased.
I don’t think totems need to be faster; it’s only 14 seconds which isn’t that long and there needs to be a fair chance for the killer to defend them. Hex perks aren’t really in that good of a spot as it stands. That’s also not a solo queue buff, that’s just an all-around killer nerf.
I would be fine with basekit kindred that simply just showed your teammates and had no killer aura reveal. The killer aura reveal is what the perk should do.
Unsure how I feel about #7.
As for #8 we now know RPD is getting split in half so I have no further opinions on that until we get to see it.
As for the Artist, I'm in the minority that actually likes her, so...yeah we won't agree on that one.

What if the hatch would spawn after gates are powered?
That's still skipping the objective (exit gates) and shouldn't be a thing. Endgame perks exist, and just because the gens are done does not mean the survivors have won the match or deserve a free hatch escape.
Hatch exists because it has to exist for the last survivor as a way of bringing the match to an end and not encouraging them to just hide until the killer finds them since they most likely won't be able to finish the gens at that point anyway. It doesn't need to be available as an escape option for anything beyond that.
What I would agree with is key addons receiving some changes to be more useful (other than blood amber) and/or keys possibly even getting a secondary function without addons to make them a bit more appealing.
-
"You had to do the objective before it spawned"
Except you literally didn't. That was the problem with it. You'd have 1-2 gens left and 2-3 escapes for free with nothing the killer can do about it. There was nothing fun about matches ending prematurely. Hatch is fine as it is now.

I don't think I worded it well. It's not 4% when everyone is healthy. It's 4% when someone is injured PLUS 3% for every injured survivor.
I see. I still think 7% is a bit too high for one injured survivor tbh. I'd maybe do like, 6/10/13/15 or something similar. Obviously the numbers could be fine-tuned.
-
90 second gens are fine. It's some of the slowdown perks that are too strong.
-

Whiners won. Hard to believe people still didn't learn the map after an entire year.
Still, it will be cool to play those new outdoor parts.
It's not just learning the map. It's miserable to play on for both sides whether you know the map or not.
To me, it doesn't feel like it was designed for DBD and the gameplay suffers a lot because of that.
-
The nerf is fine, it was absolutely busted on artist.
-
That’s kinda what I wanted to see, although I don’t think a 4% base penalty with no one injured makes sense. It shouldn’t do anything if everyone is healthy. But I agree with the general concept of rewarding the first 1-2 injures more than the 3rd and 4th ones, this way it lowers the maximum penalty and lowers the value legion and plague can get from it, thus making it a bit more consistent across all killers.
Also yes please make it affect blessing.
-
See, I wanted it to do this when it had a limited number of tokens. But not now. I actually think it’s overpowered as it is. I’ve been running it a lot, and 99% of the time I have never had my aura revealed once (the exception was an amanda’s letter pig). Map-wide aura blocking that lasts the whole match is not balanced.

I agree completely. I feel like I've been arguing at a wall with people who have powerful and unshakable convictions that one should never heal vs. Legion.
Of course you can heal vs. Legion. So long as it is efficient to do so! Denying an entire killer perk slot at the cost of keeping one person uninjured is very much worth it. And not even difficult in any way.
It's not that healing against Legion is always a bad idea. It's just that a lot of the time it is a bad idea and a lot of survivors heal against legion when they shouldn't.
With new thana, yes, it absolutely is worth it for one survivor to heal just to severely cut the penalty.
-
No, I agree with you. It's no longer worth it on legion imo. Plague at least can get a fountain out of it if someone does cleanse though.

But what if every perk was as bad as poised? I mean if you think about it, IF there were never any meta perk to begin with and know one really knew what a good perk was and every perk in the game was bad, know one would think it would be bad because there was never anything to compare it to (if there where never any good perks in this game).
Obviously that's not possible because there has been and still are meta and good perks but I'm just throwing out "what if" theories
If every perk was as bad as poised I think the game would just be a lot more boring for both sides because every perk would have to be nearly useless for that to be true.
Even your example of SB only working while healthy would be better than that.
-
I wouldn’t want to play with perks that don’t feel like they’re doing anything for me.
I will agree that the power level of some of the best perks in the game is still a bit too high even with DH finally being gone. But perks can be decent without being overpowered. Perks like Poised are just terrible and need buffs. NOBODY uses that crap.
-
Mfw when Dying Light might legitimately be better than thana now
-
Sloppy Butcher is pretty good on him. Thana is trash now though
-
It’s back, but Dead Man’s Switch is being nerfed to 30 seconds.
-
@SkeletalElite said:
In addition to that, doesn't this just make the combo even stronger?
Because now the gen interrupts, meaning merciless storm will block it instantly. Basically instead of having a chance to potentially hit 40 skill checks in a clutch moment you instead just get a big chunk of progress lost, a blocked gen, and the middle finger.
Like what? It makes no sense.
Exactly. These changes don't make any sense. PR + Storm was literally not an issue at all.

I have honestly never encountered that combo and didn't know it was a thing until now, but I agree, it doesn't sound problematic at all. I don't get why they would revert a change to something that just requires to do many easy skillchecks vs something as problematic as PR+DMS
I think I played against it once and still completed the skillchecks just fine. Never would have thought about it if I hadn’t seen it though.
-
I don't see why pain resonance + merciless storm was even a problem at all tbh, storm is a terrible perk as it stands.
I'm fine with the DMS nerf though only because it nerfs it on Artist, even though it's kinda going to suck on most killers now.
-
Thana is dead imo except on plague. Legion now you just need 1 survivor to heal up and it mitigates most of the penalty. Not worth it.
I think Mettle of Man change is a nerf. Sure you need 1 less hit but you have to not progress the game in order to use it once it’s ready and the killer can see that you have it since they see you before you use it now, not after. Horrible rework imo.
I don’t really see why pain resonance + storm was a problem, but okay.
DMS is also pretty bad now on most killers. But I’m happy camping as artist w/ it won’t be as strong anymore so I don’t really mind too much.
-
Dredge is hilariously better than Sadako in almost every way and truly shows how underpowered she is. I’d say Dredge is high B tier (possibly low A) and Sadako is in D tier.
-
This isn't a bug. The killer has to be able to see your aura for OoO to work and Distortion prevents that from happening. You're not meant to use those perks together. When OoO’s 30 second timer is up, it simply attempts to reveal your aura to the killer (which Distortion blocked); it doesn’t guarantee that the perk will actually activate if this fails.
It's not just Distortion either - anything that would block the killer from seeing your aura (eg. a Shadow Step totem) will also prevent OoO from activating.
-
I thought this was an intentional change considering this was in the 6.1.0 patchnotes:
I’d love to be wrong though, it seems kinda stupid for it to work like that tbh.
-
So what? Just because it was buffed to 5 seconds because of Enduring doesn't mean it needed to be changed back to 3. It's a bad perk now.
-
I hate to say it because I like using it, but I actually think it's too strong now. 95% of the time when I use it, the killer never sees my aura even if they have multiple aura perks. Imo, it should be useful for hiding your aura, just not for the entire match.
But even if the killer doesn't have aura reading that itself is worthy of a perk slot imo. Knowing the killer doesn't have certain perks or addons is extremely valuable.
-
It's a niche interaction, but it is intended.
-
He was nerfed like 9 months ago. He hasn’t changed since then
-
I loaded into a match as Myers and started looking for survivors when I see two of them just teabagging me from far away (in a friendly way). They just stayed near me and I couldn’t bring myself to kill any of them so I spent the whole match farming as a tier 1 myers.
-
I agree. It just feels extremely awkward to use now
-
They barely addressed tunneling (5 seconds BT has really not been that useful at all) and camping was made stronger. It's pathetic honestly.
-
Rancor is an aura-flare-up, which is different from an aura, thus distortion won’t do anything. It just shows the location at that exact moment - it doesn’t follow the player around like a typical aura will.
The only part of Rancor that uses an actual aura is the killer aura reveal to the Obsession.
-
It was horrible for the game and I’m glad it’s gone. There’s a reason it was as popular as it was and it severely limited the effectiveness of several killers far more than one perk ever should.
As survivor I refused to use it because of how strong it was and I also didn’t want to have to get used to playing without it later knowing it would eventually be nerfed.
-
@Header said:
just make slowdown perks stack multiplicatively instead of additively
They already are multiplicative.
Stacking thana and pentimento for example is 45.4%, not 52%.
-
You don’t deserve to be rewarded if your teammate DCs.
-
As mentioned above, you cannot summon crows too close to a hook - you need to walk 10 meters away before you can use your power.
-
I’ve always seen it a lot ever since it was buffed. It’s nothing new for me at this point
-
Bump the range up to 64/96/128 meters, instead of 32/64/96. There’s no reason for it to not be map-wide at tier 3.
The healing speed does not need to be buffed at all though. It’s not meant to be the main appeal and it’s already a very good perk especially if you have another healing perk. Personally I like to run it frequently with autodidact to get stacks, but that’s not the only way to use it. Survivors are sleeping on it imo.
-
BBQ is a good perk but it’s also one of the most counterable aura-reading perks. You know exactly when it’s going to activate and can play around it accordingly. It’s fine.
-
I do think it should work with the basekit BT as that’s not a perk.
It should not trigger OTR though, cages have never worked with hook perks on either side and they’re not supposed to.
-
It bugs and doesn’t trigger WGLF if you use FTP as soon as you start healing. If you wait a moment and then do it, it works properly.
-
@Mandy said:
FWIW, I think it should work as it provides a nice synergy...I have discussed this with the Team so we will look into it.
It does work if you heal for a moment. It’s bugged and doesn’t work if you try to use FTP instantly.
