Distortion not working with Ranocr Dredge?

We just had an endgame dredge gamer. Rancor, Nemesis, Blood Warden, No Way Out. Both iri add ons. My distortion never triggered even though rancor should block my revealed aura versus the killer. Is this a glitch or a hacker?

    Rancor is not aura reading. It just reveals your location.

    Rancor doesn't reveal the aura of survivors to the killer - it reveals the location of survivors, which is distinctly different and not what Distortion blocks. It's that static outline that happens when Doc makes people scream for example.

    Rancor is an aura-flare-up, which is different from an aura, thus distortion won’t do anything. It just shows the location at that exact moment - it doesn’t follow the player around like a typical aura will.

    The only part of Rancor that uses an actual aura is the killer aura reveal to the Obsession.
