The best answer to the COH meta is slugging, injuring and letting someone go is pointless now.
-
Let me sum up Killer's feelings for your plight here:
-
I know a lot of Legions are waiting for the Never Stop Slashing outfit from Rift V (October 2020) to come out, the most asked question on my Youtube videos is "where do I get that knife?"
-
Get a Prime free trial and you can get the weapon for, well, free.
-
You want Dead Man's Switch nerfed?
-
First time I play normally, but if you're being a rude git when I watch the VOD back you go on the list.

Sounds like you're making a big deal out of nothing. The hook spawns before the update could shave off or add a second getting to a hook, the wiggle timer being shaved off 1 second so that people with a disability can play the game sounds fair to me, and 1 second isn't that big of a deal.
With 1 second not a big deal you would be perfectly ok with the new system taking a second longer to escape if you don't hit the greats then?

The symbol in the top left means your ping is between 150 and 300, fix your internet and try again.
-
A building full of coders and you're still doing things manually?
-
I like to look good and I want to support the game, no income = no game.

So, let me get this straight... 10% of your games were winnable had you played right (so we can call them even)... and the remaining 90% you're either winning or losing such that (I'm guessing here) overall you win/lose around 50% of the time?
Seems like the system is doing what it was designed to (which is not necessarily the same as what you're expecting or wanting it to)
if it was designed to deliver 90% of games not being fun, yep it's a wild success.
-
That's all very cute and all but as an end user of the game all I care about is if I get fun, evenly-matched games that I feel I could have won if I played well. That happens in about 10% of my play time, the rest are stomps or being stomped.
-
Not to mention that the player who stole the puck at the other end, the player that ran the puck down the rails, the player that delivered the cross right into the goal-mouth get nothing, while the statue that tapped it in gets a win.
-
Lead more, spray more, be patient, all good advice thanks. I'm too used to playing Trickster and Huntress where ammo is a thing.
-
I expect most Killers have messaging turned off because the vast majority of messages are abuse.

In some ways, I hate events. It brings out the worst in players. Every match has hook-breakers in it. On a normal day I don't necessarily see any, but during events, that's all there is. I put on Starstruck to deal with it, and in the match I just finished I watched all four survivors bleed out in a doggy pile because they'd rather break hooks than get saves. Okay, whatever, they knew I had Starstruck and they continued breaking hooks in front of me, so they chose their fate.
I haven't tried playing survivor yet. I'm sure it'll be just as fun, though.
That's my philosophy too, you break the hook, you don't deserve the hook.

I think this is always going to be a difficult issue....I do think the average MMR is probably the fairest of all the options available. Other survivors who are not in the group do still have the option to dodge the lobby if they don't wish to play that match.
Hours do correlate to skill to a degree...but in saying that, I don't think the 1000's of hours matter, as that's very person dependent. Some people with 3k hours are still not great at the game and they never will be - we all don't have to be great at everything. Some players with 50hrs are pretty damn good and can beat players with 1000's of hours, their understanding of the game might not be the same, but their actual skill can be comparable. (which is why hours are not a good indicator of skill - someone could have 1k hours in 2021 for example and someone else could have 1k hours since 2016, there's definitely an argument there that the player with the most recently accumulated hours will be more in-touch with what is currently happening in the game, hence we're looking at introducing the "decaying MMR").
Average MMR is not the fairest for the Killer, SWF gamed the last system you had in this way and they'll continue to do it with the new system. You are forcing the Killer to play against higher MMR survivors, when it should be the low MMR Survivor volunteering themselves to play in a high MMR match.
-
The matchmaker's job is to generate an even contest, if you lose badly the matchmaker failed, if you win easily the matchmaker failed.
-
I'm pretty sure you're not using the term boring correctly, a Killer that you have to use different tactics to escape is the opposite of boring.
-
If you don't like getting camped and tunnelled maybe you need to pick better perks.
-
At least they're not linked.
-
For those curious about the outfit.

Since the For Honor collab, Behavior want to be Ubisoft.
Connect your game account with an amazon pay service to get fancy skins. Nice deal
You don't have to connect anything, you just get a code for the BHVR shop.

Well this is for Legion, so keep in mind that the ability FF triggers Killer Instinct within your TR when inflicting damage during the ability.
That being said, your best stealth bases around inflicting Oblivious instead of using Undetectable.
-Hex: Plaything is probably the best stealth universally and most notably keeps intact your Killer Instinct benefits.
-Deathbound does a lot here. 1) know where and who is being healed far away, BY WHOM. 2) If they stick together, they're closer for your to FF against. If they split up, they're oblivious to your presence😈
-Trail of Torment helps get the first jump on survivors, and is especially helpful that it'll stay active until you inflict damage (or that gen is repaired), then you can use your TR for Killer Instinct
-Tinkerer, for obvious reasons, but avoid using FF for the Undetectable duration
-Dark Devotion is a unique one. If you basic M1 the obsession, then FF others, you'll get the Killer Instinct highlight from the obsession's false Terror Radius while you are Undetectable. Good for mindf**kery on all killers.
On Oblivious player can't be found with Killer Instinct.
-
Keep in mind that when you have no terror radius your Killer Instinct doesn't work.
-
I love the people that pop up in these threads screaming "grades don't matter" as if that makes up for an obviously massive miss-match and another failure of the matchmaking system.
-
BHVR fixes a buggy, broken Killer after years and now they want a cookie. OK.

Except it is through royalties through the same company!
Everyone that bought the Hellraiser chapter financially supported the NFTs by proxy. That's how the money works, because it went to Park Avenue.
There are licensed Bubba NFTs as well.

Everything is fine.

Nerf the world.

"not toxic" - BHVR.

Try changing your crossplay setting, I get sent to the wrong server when I turn it off.

5.2.0 patch notes: "Changed pallet hit boxes to prevent the killer from getting stunned when on the same side as the survivor dropping the pallet."
So the Killer gets teleported to the other side and then stunned, great job BHVR.
-
It's all explained when I slow it down, no not really, I got magicked over the pallet.
-
So many BMers say it's not personal, how is it NOT personal? You're waiting around for the Killer to show up so you can be rude to them, how it that not personal?

OK, so I should ask why is there a Doctor challenge on Trickster and Yunjin's Tome?

The DBD freebies aren't on there yet, rumour says the 10th of December, it will just be a code to put in the DBD store to claim your goods.
