Forgive me if I'm not feeling generous when Survivors would rather die than let me get an invitation.
-
You want to punish the players because BVHR can't code a matchmaker properly?
-
They dropped that Killer nerf into Hot fix 5.5.1: Wiggle progress will no longer regress when not actively wiggling, with both the new and old wiggle interactions.
Wiggle never regresses, once you drop a Survivor slugging is your only option.

"unsportsmanlike", lol.

My magpie friends are super-jelly.

If you’re playing as casually as you allege, it shouldn’t matter how strong your opponents are. Casual ought to mean you’re unconcerned with the outcome of the trial, regardless of how you play.
So maybe you don’t approach DbD as casually as you think you do.
Ah, my mistake. I should have asked you what casual meant before posting.
To me a casual player wants to enjoy the occasional game and not lose every game with the accompanying teabags and ggez.
-
You couldn't be bothered picking your teammate up or doing the last gen?
-
Most game Devs have realised that the toxic arsehole demographic, while huge, is not enough to sustain a modern game. BHVR hasn't quite got that memo yet.

This is often how I am rewarded for going out of my way to try not to hook the same person twice in a row if I happen to run into them like right after they've just been unhooked. I make the mistake of not taking the opportunity presented to me, and they make it out as a result and still taunt me on the way out or insult me in the chat anyway.
Yep, I avoid tunnelling and what does the Survivor say?

There is a certain etiquette to being killer too, you know. And when you break it, this is usually the reaction. If they are 'abusing you in endgame chat' you're probably complaining about them cussing you out for something you did ya? Or did you just get so utterly trounced that they decided to tell you how bad you are at the game? Honestly curious.
No, I didn't know, what are the rules I'm supposed to follow?

BHVR's matchmaker doesn't work. Happy 6th anniversary!
-
Next game flashlight macro and teabags, awesome.

You need to complete generators/get hooks for them to appear. BHVR "forgot" to mention that ealier.
@Mandy said:
You don't need EGC to see the glyphs. But what you do need to do is play the game normally for them to appear, for killers that means hooking survivors and for survivors that means completing generators.
These glyphs are not like previous ones which automatically spawn on the map, they need the conditions I mentioned above to be met first. So as a killer, if you have the challenge selected, once you've hooked a survivor a green glyph will appear on the map - the glyph locations are the same as totem spawns BUT not necessarily where they've spawned in that particular version of the map (there are many spawn locations for totems on a map). For survivors, have the challenge selected, complete a generator - then you should be able to find your green glyph.
In EGC the glyphs become more visible for a few seconds.
-
Is anybody still not clear that BVHR has no regard for solo Survivors?
So many challenges are trivial in a SWF but torture solo.
-
I guess I'm being hit by the all-your-Killers-get-dragged-up-by-your-top-Killer system. I play a lot with just a few Killers so I get screwed trying out new ones.

If I have to keep moving to keep crows from spawning on my head and the killer can't find me on a map that has boundaries thats not my problem. I don't do this for the record. The killer always finds me or someone eventually. Even that one guy who spends the entire match slow walking between lockers. Yes even they get found eventually.
Surrender option is the answer to this in my opinion.
Tha makers of the game have specifically stated multiple times that this behaviour is a reportable offence, your solution to players breaking the game developer's rules is to allow the Killer to surrender, right?

Don't you remember? Everything is the killer's fault according to survivors
I feel that it's my fault for 6 genning them.

Survivors can't hold a game hostage. They can only hide until you eventually find them. Matches like this are why there is constant tension between survivors and killers.
Do I believe you or Peanits?

Sorry for all the great artists, I hope you can still get your entries in. BTW BHVR posted a tweet 1 hour ago saying the contest closes in 24 hours, use that as evidence the contest closed a day early.

Damn
That's tragic.
Did the killer want to farm from the start or did they just give up?
I guess from the start, probably trying to do a Twins challenge.
-
Some good logic being used by our experienced forum users here.
@tippy2k2 right, no tunnel scores are too high.
@Wampirita right, I'm solo Q top two are SWF.
@Brokenbones good logic, could have been the case.
@A_Skinny_Legend farming was indeed involved
This is what happens when you're the one survivor wanting to play the game while the others, including Killer, want to farm blood points, left on the hook to die.
I expect this to happen a lot with the P3 rush.
-
Tunnelling: a subset of the delusional thinking that Killers must play by Survivor's Rules.
-
Thanks GoodBoyKaru, your summaries are the highlight of any Dev stream.
-
You will notice the previous contest had very few location restrictions, are we to pretend that laws have changed in 90 countries in the mean time? Or is BVHR too lazy to bother including artists outside of their main markets this time.
-
More tentacle weirdness.

"One hook for the match because matchmaker."
I'm curious about this comment. Bsides you only getting one hook, what else happened during the match that makes you think you were matched incorrectly?
This isn't having a go at you personally but it seems like when people have a bad match they instantly claim it was due to bad matchmaking.
I'm playing a killer with zero total kills and I'm matched with 800 hour survivors. Would you consider that a bad match up or a good match up?
-
Next game was against a flashlight so I was blinded every time I switched back to Charlotte, such fun. Challenge done though and Twins back in the vault.
-
As far I know only my own videos.
-
Now ask yourself why BHVR didn't fix the Challenge description in their latest patch when they're well aware it's misleading.

Every game that you get stomped or stomp is a failure of the matchmaking, it's on BHVR to fix it.
-
"Explore the Fog in style with exclusive Dead by Daylight cosmetics and offers, only for Prime members."
Sounds pretty exclusive, I have no problem with that.
-
What did you think would happen when you get salty and message someone "Dude whats your problem?"?
-
I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing 'Hallelujah.'
But you try and tell the young people today that... and they won't believe ya'.
-
I wouldn't put it past BHVR to have a bug that makes Green Glyphs invisible if you're cloaked as Wraith.

yes because it was a situation where the game couldn't finish under normal conditions, she'd get stuck and then could be taken hostage indefinitely.
The last Survivors hiding in that Midwich corner means the game will not finish unless someone disconnects, in my game the last 2 Survivors were in there, looks like with no collision.
-
Same, Survivors even played a Midwich offering.
-
Completely safe.
-
No, I've never had a Survivor help me get a challenge done, quite the opposite in fact; back when the challenge to get 4 basement kills was up Survivors would DC after 3 kills every time.
-
A ttv SWF doing nothing wrong? Good joke.
-
A mimic. "Hey, I'll just check this chest, ahhhhh!"
-
Tome numbers were nerfed to make the rift less frustrating for new players.
-
David's just not that into you.

Try a plan so crazy it just might work, run away.
-
"The killers who play normally and hook one after another"
You get to decide what's normal for Killers, right?
-
Could he have the red turned up any higher? Might as well have a beacon on the Killer's head.
-
It falls over badly when it tries to censor phrases, start a phrase with "you blah blah" it wil block the blah blah, same with "blah blah yourself", not every time, but most of the time. The censor was obviously outsourced to the lowest bidder.
-
For multiplayer-kill-games apart from DBD I play DayZ. For other gaming I have a mad number of hours in Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky, over 500 in each.
-
Apparently not, if you complain about the matchmaking setting you up to get stomped you just get a chorus of git good, there is no place in this game for someone that just wants to play a few hours a week and get a fair game.

I stopped reporting when I found the videos I spent time making and linking to the reports had exactly 1 view, mine.
