I'd buy the majority of them too, yeah. I'd love Kate's and Joey's in particular
-
Hell they should do it for all the sweaters
-
I actually really like the red eyes tell. It's noticeable from the front but also ties her in with the Oni, so it has flavor as well.
-
This isn't constructive.
Also not a poll.

My point is that wraith with his addons being reliant for viability or not are overpowered and shoud be given a look, honestly none of them should stack imo and he should be given a drawback to his wallhacks and silent bell. They make it way too easy to find or sneak up on survivors to the point of it being unfair to where there are only two perks to basically consistently counter him
He doesn't NEED a drawback though because his benefits aren't these uncounterable mega OP things that you think they are. Killers don't need a drawback for every little thing they have. Coxcombed is pink and he still needs to actually uncloak before he can hit anyone. This is an awareness and/or Spine Chill thing.
He's reliant on addons but those addons are not broken whatsoever. Wraith has gotten no changes in a long time and people are just now calling for nerfs. Adapt.
-
Assuming this actually isn't bait...no. Wraith does not need nerfs and it amazes me that now all of a sudden people want him nerfed because Tru showcased a build that was already good (he didn't "create" this build); people just didn't really play Wraith. Now more people are playing Wraith and survivors want him nerfed. Go figure.
You bring up his addons but try playing Wraith without any. He heavily relies on them. And those wallhacks are short and he must use a purple addon and be in cloak to see them. Speedhack? Windstorm? The addons that give him any semblence of map pressure?
What can Wraith do that Ghostface actually can't? All of the stealth killers have their strengths and weaknesses and all of them can use the hit/run build well. It's a different meta than the standard looping m1 build and survivors just need to deal with it. If you can't handle stealth killers, run Spine Chill.

I think the best compromise is to nerf the wraith and demogorgon when I’m playing survivor but hotfix a buff when I play killer.
I love this.
-
Bhvr did good with the Forever Freddy nerfs. He's in a great spot and didn't need that much slowdown on top of all the other slowdown perks in the game.
It's a far cry from what they've done to killers like Nurse and Legion.
-
As much as I love Kate, I think her perks are the worst in the game. Boil Over is bad, Windows of Opportunity is meh and Dance with Me is too niche / requires other perks to combo with it unless you're in an indoor map and have LoS...like Lerys against Nurse or something.
Kate perks need buffs.
-
They are live today. Close your Steam and reopen to start the download. Make sure it's updated and you should see them in the store!
-
The devs do care about this game. They absolutely do, and they really are trying to fix its issues. There's a lot of things wrong with this game but they will be fixed with time (lots of time :p) and the game is still fun despite it.

I do agree with that too, I’ve also made a lot of friends that way. I guess maybe DbD needs a chat filter, cause having to disable all chat messages because of the stress in post game chat sounds problematic.
A chat filter would be fine. Could also have the chat feature default to being disabled / make it a toggleable setting
-
Same. Nothing to do with fearful, really it's just for flavor or thrills.
-
Red ranks in general are stressful and I don't blame you for taking a break.
However I don't think your suggestions would work / should be done.
They don't need to take away endgame chat...it should be on you to hide it. Yes a lot of toxicity can occur there but I've met new friends and had pleasant social experiences in the lobby as well.
And until queue times are improved in general, I don't think they should make that solo/swf change. I'm tired of waiting over 10 mins as it is. It does suck being the odd solo in a 3m swf group. But someone's gotta do it.
-
Oh when you said hero complex I thought you meant the survivors in endgame that refuse to leave their teammates behind so they end up giving a killer way more than a potential 1k for example. I'm generally one of them.
But no you're talking about farmers / hookrushers that just zerg the moment someone is hooked. Those aren't heroes, they're just bad survivors and / or jerks.
A lot of the times it's just that. Especially if they're running WGLF and BT. They just want their tokens and points. Some others want to farm and then be chased by killer because they hate holding m1 the entire game. Still others just have no awareness and would rather call the killer a camper because they didn't run across the map immediately.
But most are just farmers and do it for points.

I immediately thought of this song when I imagined that:
Personally, I'd either use Monitor and Abuse (Zero terror radius- I can be a stealth Killer while not actually playing a stealth Killer, then have a gigantic terror radius that confuses the hell out of survivors when the chase starts), Thanatophobia (16% slowdown for every injured Survivor would be nothing to scoff at), or Fire Up (16% increased action speed for every completed generator).
That song did fit that lmao.
But wow I didn't even think about fire up. T3 Myers might as well just run through the window.

Because this random number doesn't have to do anything with the balance of the game. It inculdes people who play for fun, probably people who DCs and who knows what else.. we all know the balance is gone when facing COORDINATED swfs. This number is just a number.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/906944#Comment_906944
I disagree. You can. I personally wouldn't mind not having games so easy when I play with friends. Because it is much more easy than when I play solo. This is not at all about punishing anyone..it's about balance - not being overpowerd over everyone else.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/906952#Comment_906952
I have already answered that. Not much realistic, imo. And if you take (for example) one perk off of each survivor, I don't think that would be the reason swfs would stop playing the game suddenly. They would just be less overpowered.
I will not be penalized for playing with my friends and being forbidden from picking potentially some of my favorite perks. This also affects meme builds, not just the meta. Not really "elegant" at all.
-
Tru thinks he invented a new meta and made Wraith viable. This is funny because Wraith has not been changed and Tru is on record saying Wraith is the worst killer in the game.
-
4 times Urban evasion makes you crouch at 7.2m/s
-
Yep I agree with you. Surprised advanced settings aren't a thing yet.
I'll also tack on the fact we don't have really any accessibility settings like color blind support as well.
-
No.
And I'll echo @The_Second_Coming@The_Second_Coming
You can't nerf SWF directly. The best way of handling them is to buff solo to their level and then buff killers. Adding incentives to go against SWF would be nice as well.
But again you can't penalize people for playing with their friends. That will kill this game in a heartbeat.

So then you do want to chase out the rest of your killer players lol. As it stands right now if solos got buffed to be as strong as SWF then I think gonna lose a lot of the remaining killers. Because very few of us trust them to bring killers up to snuff, given the changes they have made in the past and their completely disregard for any killer concerns. They try to placate issues being sticking Band-Aids on them rather than addressing it at the core
If you want to quit and call it being "chased out", be my guest. The only truly miserable experiences a killer could go against are 4man swat teams on favored maps such as Haddonfield. Other than that...most swf teams are mediocre at best and then a lot of solos get stomped by either a good killer or their own bad teammates. Nothing but good comes from closing the gap and balancing accordingly.
You don't have to trust bhvr if you don't want to. While they take forever to make changes, we are in a far better spot than we used to be. Balancing is only getting better and better. I think everyone will be fine. Including these scared killers.

Lmao the kindred buff is NOT the right track, the long and short of it is with the current game mechanics you should not be able to just wilfully provide information. Information is literally one of the biggest hindrances to killer baring any OP perk called DS lol
Very many people see the Kindred buff as an incredibly good change, even killer mains. Anything that makes solo survivor actually bearable is a good move in my book.
Information perks are strong, yes. But something like Kindred is only active while someone is on the hook and helps improve survivor coordination and make it less likely for someone to get 1 or 2 hooked before dying. When survivors are more coordinated in general, we can then buff killers accordingly. I do think buffing solo close to swf is the way to go.
-
Like @StardustSpeedway said, you should get Kindred if you're going for saves. It's an amazing information perk.
Otherwise I'd choose Empathy to help get into position / know where the injured person is getting chased.
-
Did you get this from Zubat?

My best friend ended up getting me into this game over 2 years ago. We played other games like WoW and OW but every so often she'd go off on her own to play DBD and Steam broadcast it for me to watch her play.
At first I didn't think it was my type of game because I'm not that into PvP in general. I bought it and tried to play it on my old PC, but it couldn't handle it so I refunded DBD. I rebought it when I bought a gaming laptop and stuck with it ever since. My best friend and I still play it alot; it truly is a unique game and ended up being a cornerstone of our friendship. And I thank the devs for that.
We'll ignore the fact that I've spent over $500 on DLC and cosmetics between me and my friend for these devs :P
-
An overflow emblem sounds great.
-
These queues are god awful, yes
-
What're the chances that your internet is cutting out or having a spike for even a second? Idk any issues for consoles, but I used to have the same issue as you on PC and it was invariably caused by me having a random ping spike that was enough to drop me from the game but keep my points and give me bonus points from the survivors.
I had this issue before dedicated servers, which is why I think you have the same issue.
-
Kate.
-
I don't think they got -worse- but sometimes you really will get hits like that. The servers are remarkably inconsistent with what will or will not hit. It's sometimes insane.
Though I suppose consistency has never been DBD's strong suit.
-
Ooh them not running when they're dead is actually a good, flavorful idea.
But anyway yeah you're supposed to be running with your item. In my experience, if you're not running with your item, it means the game ate it and you lost it which is a current bug.
-
Jesus I never looked at a side-by-side comparison. Never mind just how bad they made Meg herself look, let's also look at how close they made her to Quentin in addition to how bad Legacy looks.
-
The Meg hate up in here o_o
I don't like most of her hairs, though. She also needs more hats.
But that pales in comparison to Kate needing a cowgirl hat.

The biggest problem with balance right now is the audio bugs for killers IMO
Yeah I don't include bugs when it comes to balance...balance assumes everything is working as intended.
All bugs need to be squashed, for sure.
-
I'd almost argue for the two perks to be merged and even still not be terribly strong. But yes I think Surge should combo with all other regress perks except Pop.
-
@altruistic said:
I try to use fun perks, get punished for it.
Bring DS and Unbreakable? I get opportunities to survive against the sweaty killer I am playing against.
It’s fine the way it is, just equip it every single match.
This is exactly how I feel. Whenever I don't bring those two perks I get tunneled into oblivion.
-
It's a horror game but in the end it is still PvP. PvP games need ranking to help keep the new players away from the seasoned ones, especially if the game doesn't have a casual mode and bases queueing off the ranking system as well.
-
So why was this listed as a poll? :P
The game is extremely hard to balance. They're on the right track with the kindred buff, but solos will never have the same power level as SWF on voice comms unless voice was added for everyone, which I hope they don't do.
That said, I do think the game is more balanced than it's ever been. Various outliers still exist, but they're not as pronounced as people want to believe.
-
Yeah the increase in dc's are definitely frustrating and I do see the correlation between rift challenges and the increase.
I'm going to add that there are other factors contributing though: DC punishments are imminent along with the fact people dc over literally anything these days. DC rates will probably go down once punishments actually make it live.
As far as the challenges themselves go...I generally don't like the single trial stipulation on a lot of them, especially as survivor. It does feel bad when you miss your chance to complete a challenge and it isn't always in your control. Survivor challenges in general rely on luck, teammates, and the killer. I only hope their next rift has not only better designed challenges but also better PLACEMENT of those on the Auris web. Biggest issue with a lot of survivor challenges are the fact they're bottlenecks and require everyone to do them at the same time.
-
Medkit charges are currently bugged and do not actually add charges to the kit.
-
It's their last huzzah for dc's.
-
Wraith because of his running and bell animations. They're just too cute for me!
Pig has the cutest stun squeek and then angry grunt at the end.
And Billy is -kinda- cute when he bumps

@Seanzu said:
Killers have ran out of things to complain about because it's all been nerfed into the ground, now it's time to ask for everything to be re-nerfed because killers still haven't gotten any better despite all the positive changes for them.
If a 5 seconds stun is the difference between you "winning" and "losing" you were probably playing pretty terribly to begin with, honestly.
I rarely have DS used against me, it's super easy to avoid, and of course there is always going to be some games that go badly for you, but if anyone posted a video of a killer slugging everyone within 3 minute players would say it's fine and that the survivors were bad.
Pretty much this, at this point.
Guys, DS is fine where it's at other than maybe abusing locker grabs. Everything else is a simple slug away from not eating that stun and losing your game over.
I play red ranks with both roles and I'll admit I get hit by DS every now and then, and it's completely my fault regardless of whether or not I actually did tunnel. Is it annoying to get hit with DS after hooking someone else? Well yes. But you really should try and mentally keep track of who you've hooked in the past 60s.
Just. Slug. If anything needs nerfing when it comes to DS, it's locker grabs. Stun duration and activation timer are both fine.
-
I've had a game where an actual meghead reported me and said "3 genning should be bannable". I was Doctor and played Hawkins but they played Coldwind and we got Rancid Abbatoir. They ended up 3 genning and I was running double calm/unnerving. They couldn't get those gens done and Meg swore up and down it was all her team's fault, none her's whatsoever.
I hadn't laughed as hard as I did in awhile before that.
-
Licensing. I'm sure they'd love to give Freddy cosmetics
-
Dont see how "gen rushers" are stupid since they're just doing their objectives. It's on the killer to force them off the gens.
Being insidious camped sucks but it's a perk and does its job. Insidious camping -should- lead to killer losing because no gen pressure, but solos typically get fooled by it anyway
-
Tier 60, none bought. Just chilling until level 4, now.
