Ash has the worst survivor perks
Ash is the main survivor I play (I’m a huge Evil Dead fan), and it’s a real shame how he has some of the worst teachables in the game. Mettle of Man is basically a waste of a perk slot and hardly ever works because it’s way too difficult to get, Flip Flop is a cool idea but it suffers from being way too situational to be any bit useful and most killers just immediately put you on a hook anyways, and Buckle Up basically suffers from the same issues as Flip Flop. Wish all of these could get reworked or buffed at some point, hopefully soon, because it sucks to have such an awesome licensed character suffer from terrible perks such as these 3.

Yui has some pretty bad ones imo. Besides Break Out but even then I haven't seen any SWF run it.
mettle of man is atleast useable a bit more buckle up should be buffed though

I am glad his perks are crap. Him, or his perks at least, should have never been created in the first place.

Not if you bring self care after care or bond and you can remember where the exit gates are instead of wake up
I consider pharmacy to be better than self care
Pharmacy is only better in the beginning but you don't get med kits after that unless rng got your back and plunderer builds but its still kinda a waste self care is slower but unlimited
What do you got against Ash?
- Perks revolving around rewarding you for having failed (same deal with Bill).
- Annoying voiceovers in lobby/menu that you cant disable.
As much as I love Kate, I think her perks are the worst in the game. Boil Over is bad, Windows of Opportunity is meh and Dance with Me is too niche / requires other perks to combo with it unless you're in an indoor map and have LoS...like Lerys against Nurse or something.
Kate perks need buffs.

Hey buddy, I love flip-flop. It's personally one of my favorites, while I do agree it's situational, it's still really fun. Just that really small percentage helps too. I personally wouldn't use it if they changed it, unless it's another gimmicky perk. Lemme tell you, I have more fun with gimmicky perks than the meta. And Ash has a lot of gimmicky perks
But it isn’t anymore
Mettle of Man is actually pretty easy to get and profit from now. The others need buffs but devs always focus on killer buffs. Oh well.
Flip-flop is still good
Just because a perk can be used doesn't mean it's useful.
It is really good at endgame, especially with DS. I’ve had it used on me several times.

Open Handed: Useless on it's own, you need to bring another perk with it
Up the Ante: Luck doesn't affect chests, you can use Deliverence to 100% get off the hook instead
Ace in the Hole: Eh, decent if you wanna plunder, not really helpful though
He has 2 useful perks while Ash has 1.5 at most
Yeah the killer has the option to slug, but how often does that happen? Why waste 1 of 4 perk slots for a perk that doesn’t come into play all that often?
