Well bubba is easy and so is pig, there powers aren't that strong but if your team waste pallets against a bubba then yeah he's stronger but in general that's it, pig is rng traps and her dash etc. Suck, I have no issues with any killer I love versing them all and have never wanted nerfs to happen, even the spirit and nurse ones, just nurse and spirits are stronger at high skill. Basic M1 have nothing compared to those two if you know the safe spots to stand at etc. Not saying they're op because they're arent just stronger and obviously more top tier. Escaping is team effort not solo.
Yes as bubba I focus more on not hitting the wall than the survivor because I'll often just hit them anyway and if they mess up and dont stun me they gotta find another pallet quick

Nope, just versing spirit and nurse all day would be boring. I dont mind any killer at all just actually want to verse all the killers, some need to be buffed tbh but the game would be boring with such little killers. And not all but most people do. I want range of perks and killers to be seen not lack of them, if I only see 3 killers out of all of them that's a big issue
There are good huntress, billy, blights sometimes oni as well its not always gonna be nurse /spirit

I see a lot of threads about killers dodging lobbies for this or that reason, but as survivor, when you look at your team, does anything make you dodge that lobby? If yes, what is it?
I usually dodge team mates with keys (they're more than likely going to leave you behind).
I also dodge blendettes (claudette with all dark clothing) or default megs, neas, and bills.
Only if the killer wanted to farm thankfully they often tell the survivors giving enough time to dodge

Pallet vacuum it was basically dead hard at every pallet

I personally think it's kept as a handicap to help newer players/bad players have a chance. Similar to DS, BT etc
Just my guess.
I would love to see kill rate stats for a weekend that has NOED turned off. I don't think people realize how much NOED single handedly alters the games kill stats. I think it's pretty massive.
You also got to think how any of those people were already injured so the only affect they are getting is a 4% speed increase

Did you read the post i asked what you say when it doesnt activate. But good seeing the eyes of noed killers i guess.
Ohh I didn't see the dosent activate in that case ohh well can't complain they did bones

@supersonic853 said:
How do you respond when Noed doesnt actually activate? I feel with the constant "nerf noed" id like to see the other side of the spectrum on the people who do run it and actually get outplayed. I never run the perk its a perk i have banned myself from using but in most cases id probably just say "respect,You did more then gens for once" lol. Anyone else? (Also side note with detectives hunch+inner strength ive healed myself 5 times a few games do the dang bones!)
I say f it if they haven't done the totems I deserve an extra kill for them ignoring the secondary objective

What I'd like to see more of:
More skill based killers.
IE Blight, Nurse, Huntress etc.
They need to be aiming for killers that make survivor play differently. This is how you keep the game fresh with only 1 game mode.
We don't need more killers whos counter play is to just circle the loop or drop the pallet early.
I also like this I said stealth killers because of the scare potential but this is also good
-
Stealth killers normal killers barely ever scare me unless they do something so crazy that it dosent make sense

I do but I got the game when he came out so my timeing of when the perks came out was off

DS/UB has been in the game for like three years, but DS has also gotten three nerfs since launch. Undying was nerfed fairly quickly, yes, but with good reason in my opinion.
If you compare the changes to the meta over the years more broadly, though, killers have had the best of it. Since Dead Hard was released in July 2017 no survivor meta perks have been released. In addition to DS's nerfs, Dead Hard and Sprint Burst were also nerfed pretty heavily when exhaustion was changed to not recover faster while crouched and to not recover at all while sprinting. All of these were good changes imo, but still, survivor has gotten nothing new and a few consequential nerfs to the meta in the last 3.5 years.
Meanwhile, killers have had several meta perks added since Dead Hard. Pop, BBQ, Undying, new Tinkerer, Nemesis (meta on Bubba for a while), Corrupt Intervention (Trapper & Hag), Infectious Fright (Nurse, Oni, etc.), Spirit Fury (was the M1 meta for quite a while along with Enduring and still gets a lot of use), Discordance (probably meta on Legion, strong regardless), etc. Sloppy's buff was after Dead Hard was added as well, and while not meta, it's definitely a staple.
Survivors had a huge advantage to start with imo, absolutely, but in terms of balance changes, I don't know how the "devs are anti-killer" thing comes in.
Sorta like we want to see smart plays that really leave us like wow that was good you got me not ohh guess I deserved that you were healthy but what ever out played me and you forgot bt and unbreakable were released after dh

Think - Ruin Undying got nerfed in practically 4 months. I think the nerf was deserved.
DS UB still hasn't gotten a nerf despite the forums being spammed with DS posts, SWF groups rolling even good killers with the DS, UB, SG combo, and countless good players some even being tournament players prove that DS alone is too strong.
Now think, how long had DS UB been out for? A year ish?
2 nearing 3 from the time it was changed

BHVR does care about killer players. They are just not catering to your demands. That’s a difference.
That's why a killer metta that was dependent on rng was nerfed in 6 months ok you heard the other part a million times already

I understand what you mean.
I am going off of things like when they said they were going to introduce a “trial warm up” about a year ago, and now people are getting bent up about that because they are either impatient or just flat out don’t understand how working on games works.
I don’t know why they don’t share everything but my personal feeling/opinion is that they don’t keep secrets because they don’t want to share. The fact that they showed a visual along with the colorblind feature announcement just shows that they wanted to share a visual... meaning they didn’t wanna just tell us about it. Which if you’ve noticed they often do that.
But a lot of people also forget about it
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
From my experience many developers specifically choose not to share certain things in regards to changes to the game, mostly because many times those changes are in very early stages in the works.
Imagine if they had announced that color blind feature was coming soon, only to later find out they weren’t able to make it possible.
I’d rather find out when they are ready to announce.
They they say hey we had to drop this bdue to lack of color blind staff or something

If it's being looked into it's being looked into that's that better than possibly

The community is never going to be happy. "If you've got a date already, why not focus efforts and get it done sooner, this is important!"
This Issue has probably been in their backlog for over a year, if the Aura changes back around July are any indicator. But its likely dev work needed to be spread over new Chapters and content updates, which may have kept pushing those stories back, in addition to the actual work needed to develop and test the color choices against several types of color blindness.
I get that people are always annoying wanting things sooner but like I would rather want to know hey this is a thing that will be coming out possible rather than have over half the community upset over something they have been working on probably for months

Try to keep track of where she's placing traps and keep triggering them also pro tip look at the trap when you trigger it so you you dont turn your entire body and get stuck within lung range

Yea I had a gf game I almost got them with a bw play just ds and non stop ha ha get good when they had object and constant callouts they were all good I even told them they were good but their ego was higher then their IQ

I often see the statement that dbd comunity is toxic. And it's often based on in-game bm actions such as t-bag and clicking from survivors, facecamping and intended tunneling from killers. Personally I don't consider it toxic. As survivor I don't do it because I understand most of killers can be offended by that actions. As killer I trying to treat everyone equally. Flashlight, t-bags and even keys doesn't make me mad and I don't really change my gameplay. Well maybe I can slug key user if hatch spawned. But most of my games I don't do anything that someone may consider toxic.
I personnaly think that only toxic thing you can do in-game is intended sandbagging, which is rare since Ochido was banned. All the rest of player's in-game actions is not toxic in my opinion. True toxicity only happen in post game chat and by sending messages directly or into profile commentary.
Sometimes survivors call me camper or tunneler. They can leave -rep in my steam profile. I don't mind it, it's fine. I play a lot and I very rarely get toxic messages in post game chat. Maybe once in 25-30 games. It's not often in my opinion. Most of time people just send nothing, or just respond gg to my gg. Last year I have seen "ez" maybe twice. Also I often play vs Russians in my region. I noticed they often considered as most toxic people in general, for some reason. But actually they are no different from EU players in my expirience.
So I want to ask. How often you get toxic messages in your games? How often other players mocking you? Or do you respond to speech you don't like?
Depends who ami playing ds ph nurse spirit every 3/10 games
Everyone else 1/15
Michael w tombstone 5/10 games
(I play with cross play off)

Male killer tie between Michel and ph
Female killer personally susie if not then probably Amanda without the mask

I can't help but notice that both sides of the game do this, Killers what some survivor perks to be nerfed and Survivors want killers to be nerfed.
From my experience survivors are much more vocal about the changes they want. maybe not on here but trust me every team I play on complains about Killers being OP and wanting to nerf them into the ground. yet these are the same survivors that loop very well and toy with killers every chance they get. If they can't do it they get upset but when they can they're laughing their heads off
I think it's a no win situation at this point, what one person is going to like another is going to hate. I've been in some dev streams and every other comment is nerf this, change that.
I do agree though that the DS Unbreakable combo is too powerful. you pick them up they get away, you leave them down they get away.
It would be too hard to program but for situations like that it would be interesting if they had a conflict system. If you're using DS you can't use unbreakable ect.
My idea was if you have ds active you suffer from a 50%reduced recovery rate the timer is 2x as long when down because if the killer is tunneling you they should be punished either by the stun or or wait time making ds unbreakable less effective and if any progression is made to affect the match the timer empties 2x as quick(includes lockers)
Because how can you say your being tunneled when your doing an obj that's like saying why did you shoot me in cod when you defusing the bomb its stupid

They are not invincible when going for that hook save. You can down them at the feet of the hooked survivor. At that point, how can you say two survivors incapacitated is detrimental to you? Is camping not an option in this case? So what if they pop back up? Smack them back down again. By then DS timer will be expired.
Doing gens in the killers face. You know you can still hit them? Aim away and lunge back. You can avoid a grab this way.
Ahh yes let me stand still for 60s while the gens take 80s and 3 others could be doing them so if that's the case in the time it takes to re hook them 3 gens are almost done and that could happen 4 times technically 12 for each hook state see how ridiculous your statement is

Well which legion nerf are we talking about? If your talking about the one where Frank's mixtape was OP then that wasn't because of annoyance, that was because it made Legion incredibly busted. No matter how many pallets and vaults you found he would still down you quickly because of Legions fast movement speed and the ability to vault pallets and windows quickly.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that just because something is annoying doesn't mean that it doesn't need a nerf. I just don't see a solid reason as to why D-strike needs a nerf.
Sure ds will be nerfed when freddy's snares do damage

Change my mind, but in my opinion Ghostface is the weakest killer in DBD by far. I can perform with every single killer well, even against strong SWF at rank 1. Ive watched a lot of streamers playing him and Ive also tested many builds. Nothing works for me. I try always to 99, but the survivors always reveal me too fast so that I become a naked M1 Killer :( Only on indoor maps Ive a chance to have a good match. As GF was released I got most of my matches a 4k... now Im happy if I get 1 Kill :'D Any good tips from experienced killers for me? Thx in advance :)
No legion is still weaker yea he can get the first hit so can gf

People complain about ######### that the devs already said they're looking into. For example ds and keys.
And there are things that people complain that the devs said they won't change, like tunneling and camping.
Just keep posting about the things that are confirmed to be changed, and in the opposite side on the features that won't because bhvr has a reason, doesn't help.
Complaining about keys is meaningless since it was leaked they'll be nerfed. Complaining about tunneling, not being a bannable offense is also meaningless, since not only "tunneling" doesn't have a proper meaning, but because the devs said they don't want to make it bannable.
/Ok keys gonna be changed
(When)
(How)
Sorry no further available info
/ moris are gonna be changed when
(When)
(How)
Right now these are now useless unless you like to be dramatic and waste 7k bp and this is our final product
/ When is ds gonna be changed
(We can't say that its only been looked at for 2 years but long enough)
/ Can undying be nerfed
Yea here it will only save one totem and this is close to our final idea
/ can blights POV be fixed
(We know about the issue so until then here's clown buff new bottle)
See the issue they either say for killer yes the perk will be changed and never tell us when Or how or something will be changed and was barely ever brought up (billy change/ pop)
Or they will hop on something within weeks for survivors not to mention they won't back step if something was bad (twins)

I've noticed with more regularity since this last patch.. how frequently I am getting blinded by what I can only surmise as ghosts, because literally no one else is on my screen. I'm looking at a wall, and I get blinded. What? Survivors at a 90 degree angle from my face should not be blinding me, period. I can't see them, how is that fair?
Get it out of the game please. If I were able to hit survivors THROUGH walls, it'd be hotfixed immediately. This should not be a thing either.
But hey survivors can blind you while crouching ready for impossible angles to be possible
-
@snozer said:
Erm... you know who developed this game right?
Do you remember the "QOL" update that they did where they made it so you could stun or blind the killer at any point during the pick up animation because they thought it was too hard for rank 20s to do?
Yeah.. these same devs previously did an update to reduce the blind from 180 degrees to killer fov size (30 degrees?). Survivors naturally balled their eyes out on the forums and scared the devs into reducing it and they made it just outside the killer fov, but only just.
It seems they have been slowly increasing it back to 180 deg in the hopes killers don't notice.
you can see it in action on tru3tallents stream yesterday where he turns away from a flashlight and it continues to blind him when it shouldn't.
I wish I would show my clip I was playing demo and someone tried to blind me I stared at my toes counted all However many demo has and got blinded ######### is that

Wait anyone remember when the dev's said they are going to look into dead hard when they also said they were gonna look into fixated
(oml that may of been the change they were going for and now are gonna say it off as a bug to look like they aren't gonna favor survivor)
