Yes, the bug was a neat thing that should've been studied and implemented intentionally. It was a cool idea.
Agree, I found it interesting that it affected ALL skillchecks too and was quite nice on pig with razor wires and interlocking razors
Granted it isn't supposed to affect killer powers but it wasn't broken or anything and instead added a bit of skill to it (exactly what jigsaw traps are supposed to be)

Why should we suffer from another survivor's mistake? Make it a hex perk.
What is with the terrible suggestions lately? Seriously
-
@RainehDaze said:
Thana is already dead because of how stupidly specific its requirements are to get its full strength. If it's at full strength, you are sitting around injured too.
It doesn't need to be a hex. All the debuff and pallet-relates ones shouldn't be. Maybe Huntress' Lullaby if it kept going when you break it, just stacked tokens only whilst it's up.
This is exactly how it was like with the bug lol
But no instead of making it a feature they patched it so I think we can safely say that any huntress lullaby buffs like that are out of the question because if they wanted it buffed they could've just let the bug persist and update the description lol

I tend to disagree. For one thing this would inadvertently nerf a few killer perks like No One Escapes Death. But for another, it unreasonably nerfs an entire series of survivor perks. Which on the surface might seem like a killer win, but I would argue the opposite. If the survivors are filling up their perk slots with boons then it also means they aren't running other arguably more annoying perks. Boons also take up survivor time blessing in the first place and snuffing out the totems is often a win in the killer vs survivor time management game. Killers generally aren't going to run to the other side of the map where gens are done to snuff out a totem but if survivors are wasting their time running to the other side of the map to heal at 50% speed then they losing a lot of gen progress. And if survivors bless a totem in an area where killers are active then the time spent blessing the totem is usually easily lost without the killer spending too much time searching for and snuffing it out. Now if your argument is that blessing totems should take an extra 10 seconds then I would tend to agree.
It's at 75% speed, since the healing it provides stacks with the self heal
So not as much time as you'd think unless you're running mangled

@Defend said:
It's usually just Circle of Healing that is the problem more than boons in general. Dark Theory, Shadow Step or even Expoential doesn't have as much of an issue that COH does. 2% haste isn't that noticible especially when the range is limited, Shadow Step is nice for the same reason but still has the range limit and you can still hear grunts of pain, and even if survivors got downed within Expoential range, it's not going to do anything if the killer doesn't slug. If there was an nerf to COH to limit uses (for example, after a total of 3 health states are healed while in the radius, COH deactivates), I think boons wouldn't become such a hassle to deal with.
Yeah I'm really not sure why the community keeps suggesting basekit Shattered Hope when it's the most god awful idea you can do to nerf COH because not only COH exists
-
@Rickprado said:
I think basekit Shattered Hope (without the aura reveal part of the perk) would be a nice start. Then the perk could show auras of survs inside the radius and give some debuff, like Hindered, Incapacitated or even Exposed for some few seconds. Boon would become some high risk/reward strat.
I was playing a match against a Doctor, everyone was spread out and injured, and then... a random boon CoH appears. The doctor instantly lost all his pressure, as everyone healed while one was being chased. What the killer could do in that situation? Snuff out the boon in the other side of the map instead of patrolling gens or chasing people?
CoH really needs a rework as its changes complety the game style of killers, and make killers like Twins and Hag unviable. Maybe it could be something like a Vigil with the ability to recover Exaustion while running while inside the boon radius. But giving infinite medkits to a team inside an area doesn't seem a good idea.
You're only mentioning COH here and you want to nerf all boons? Lol

Hex vs Boon
Hex perks are (supposed to be but not always) super powerful killer perks with the downside that they can be taken away. A high risk high reward. Each Hex is 25% of a side's perk load out and once it's gone it's gone.
Why do boons get to be different? Unlimited heals for the whole team, the ability to pick yourself up indefinitely, team stealth that can cover multiple floors... Those are some abilities that are as strong if not stronger than some Hex perks. Plus they're only 1/16th of the team's perk load out.
So many situations where a killer has to go out of the way to snuff a boon, wasting time that's 4x more valuable than a survivors, only to have the boon right back up the moment you move away. True, boons need to be set up while hexs don't (minus pentimento). I think the tradeoff for that should be that the boons can be set up multiple times, but only once per totem.
Please make it so going out of the way to snuff a boon actually means something. Especially when it comes to out of the way locations like Badham basement (and others). If I take the time to eliminate it from a high value area it should be gone. It's fine if the survivors want to spend the time searching for a new totem and taking the time to reboon there instead... That time investment seems fair to me, but it doesn't seem right that eliminating a boon isn't permanent like eliminating a hex unless I dedicate 25% of my load out to shattered hope.
Boons get to be different because 1, they take time to set up, 2, they make a bunch of noise, and 3, are limited to a certain radius
Don't like boons? Run shattered hope. Don't want to run it? Well tough luck
Even as killer I don't have much problem and don't really care about them doing COH, plus I'm not even actively trying to win by hooking them
I don't know why this keeps getting suggested so much when that would make literally all other 3 obsolete
I also like how you tried to make it seem Exponential and shadow step is OP, lol while forgetting about dark theory, idk how anyone can make that seem OP it's pretty much a cosmetic haste effect

Hey all,
I'm thinking it would be nice to have a killer that can disguise as one of the survivors that are participating in the trial. Imaging the killer has a power to choose the outfit + item of one of the survivors and wear it for a limited amount of time. And while wearing a survivor outfit, the terror radius is reduced (or removed) and the killer can also fake like he is working on a gen, vault and drop pallets, entering lockers, pointing, ...
Survivors can 'unmask' the killer which returns the terror radius and removes the fake outfit.
When the killer is 'undercover' and close to a survivor for an amount of time, the survivor becomes exposed (or maybe other status effects?)
I think it would be really cool to add the psychological aspect that you might not even trust your own survivor teammates.
Additional ideas:
- when the killer wears the outfit of one of the survivors, this survivor wears the outfit of the killer (and maybe gets the terror radius?)
- when the killer fakes he is working on a gen, the repair progress is stalled
- changing outfits can be done in a locker?
- blinding (if not using perk lightborn) or stunning the killer with a pallet will remove the outfit
- when a survivor tries to reveal another survivor, they both get exposed
- not sure if the killer should be able to attack while he is wearing the survivor outfit or not
- the survivor of which the killer is wearing the outfit gets a temp buff (eg haste, endurance, ...)
- each time the killer wants to switch outfit during the trial, he can choose a different survivor
- the killer kan only change outfits with the obsession
What do you think about this idea?
Only useful on solo queue

Why should I get Exposed for free for completing an objective?
Yeah, hexes are not in a great spot and I’d love some changes on this front, but this is not what they need, at all. They’re not meant to be a lose-lose scenario for survivors. Some of the weaker hexes need direct buffs (for one, I think Lullaby shouldn’t light a totem at all until it has its first token and no warning sounds should come at 3 or 4 instead of 5, and Crowd Control needs a buff too), and I think maybe something like making totems unable to be seen/cleansed for the first 30 seconds of the match would be good, along with improving several totem spots and getting rid of near-guaranteed totem spawns due to map creation logic, but they do not need to punish survivors for cleansing them when that’s literally what survivors are supposed to do to counter them. Haunted Grounds exists if you really want this effect.
Heck even when it had its glitch "buff" it still was mainly a gimmick, despite it being uncleansable

Two things to enhance the mori experience:
- Multiple moris for each killer where you never know which one you will get
- Give survivor an interactive ability where they actually have a tiny, tiny chance of escaping it - kind of like how you want your character to respond in defense to the action. That would be very engaging.
2 wouldn't really work well in the programming I don't think since if you start the mori, the survivor always ends up dead no matter what
That would be like if a teammate could pallet stun during the mori to save them. Even though it would make sense, it just doesn't work because of the mechanics

ill have to run a montage of them reall fast. let me check and get back to you...
final judgement for the executioner and inexorable stare onryu.
they're both extremely boring because at least with the early moris they had alternate viewpoints for survivors and killers. later the moris seem to stopped having the extra effort put into them with the clown having the most unique mori in that depending on your character's sex the clown will choose a different finger. but newer moris - like spirit for example are the same regardless of viewpoint and offer little in terms of content.
pyramid head and sadako have better moris outside of the two i mentioned, but the exections for their powers are underwhelming.
a lot of people have said trapper and wraith and such, but those moris actually had distinct viewpoints for survivor and killer. so i find them more entertaining than... blight whose kill is still the same regardless of which player is killer.
I think that's just because those are meant to be quick, and therefore less interesting
However I do find it cool that if you have a tape it takes a little while longer for you to die of the heart attack than if you do not hold a tape

-"Billy's position in the game should not be related to another killer's position in the game. Billy is pretty bad. i'd give Billy higher priority over LF."
This is a logic fault. First let me say I feel that all the killers should be within 15% power level of each other from the best to worst. The only exception is if some killers are "allowed to be bad" and would have MMR caps. Imagine for example if Trapper could never actually go past 1450 MMR keeping you out of the high tier bracket. Would that be fair? It might but why not make him competitive so that he's a B+ killer base kit insted of a D killer requiring an iri addon (bloody coil) to be viable. Trapper with the Bloody coil base kit would be "tolerable". Let him have 4 traps in hand base and that would be a good start to make him decent. Change the purple sack back to +2 traps in hand (meaning you also start with +2 extra traps).
-"leatherface at high-level is based around catch-up with chainsaw in the chase. LF at 110% would be worse at catch-up and worse at pallet break zoning"
I am fully aware. I am suggesting to retune him so that he's 110% but the saw is better - yet more necessary to really start a chase.
This would make LF a unique chainsaw experience very different from Billy. LF would be more of a pouncing charger and in some ways would be like Wesker (although since he came first Wesker is really more like LF around loops).
Much like Wesker mains do LF would also be doing more "chainsaw for distance". Two could be changed to do things like have a longer paced slower saw charge OR be a more intense shorter charge.
The biggest problem with the game is that it always feels like killer is an afterthought. LF is super low on the priority list and might never get fixed if they are going to lose him with the TCM game coming out soon.
They already confirmed he is staying, so idk why you're bringing up he might be removed lol

Hello!
Why Leatherface has very strange code in his Chainsaw Sweep movement speed?
Now Leatherface reaches Chainsaw Sweep maximum movement speed after 60% duration of his first charge.
This code exists since December 2020 | Twins DLC. They changed way how Leatherface reaches his Chainsaw Sweep maximum movement speed. They nerfed Leatherface very significantly and we didn't get a information about it.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LPA6G7EG92LX/image.png
What is a problem with his acceleration someone can ask.
With default Bubba first charge duration is 2 seconds. It means that he reaches Chainsaw Sweep maximum movement speed after 1.2 seconds.
Acceleration nerfs all duration addons on Leatherface.
1) Award Winning Chili - because of this code he needs 1.5 seconds to reach maximum speed.
2) Chili - because of this code he needs 1.35 seconds to reach maximum speed.
3) Because of that we got a very huge problem with his Ultra Rare addon - Carburetor Tunning Guide.
He needs 60% of his first charge to reach maximum movement speed, right? With Carburetor Tunning Guide Cannibal has 1 big charge. It means he needs 4.5 seconds to reach maximum movement speed
(7.5 seconds * 60%) = 4.5 seconds
It means Carburetor Tunning Guide doesn't work like intendent and this addon needs to be fixed or reworked.
Question is - how Leatherface's acceleration should work? How acceleration was working before Twins DLC?
I have screen from Wiki, how Leatherface should work and it would be very healthy for his addons.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CTWGGKZR6B2N/image.png
He was reaching maximum speed after 0.6 second always. No first charge duration or something.
It was really good, because Carburetor Tunning Guide wasn't bugged & Chili addons together were a good combination for Cannibal. Now with double Chili addons Bubba needs 1.65 seconds to reach maximum movement speed - it's garbage. He is so slow at the start.
Can we get old acceleration back on Cannibal? It would fix Carburetor Tunning Guide & make him much fun to play. If someone say that he is too strong and he deserved to this nerf - I completely dissagre with this.
It's very easy to counter his power. A lot of invisible Hitboxes on certain maps, lockers & windows & more & more.
What you think guys?
As if bubba players even used it to chase anyway, lol

Just imagine a killer turned survivor as bait for the Predator who has come to the earth for an intergalactic hunting expedition. Everything lines up. They even had a news conference which seemed almost like an April Fools parody when discussing the new killer. Adriana is almost like a Feng Min cosplay compared to the real predator. That is because she will just end up being another survivor we can play. But a really cool survivor but only a placeholder for the famed Predator. Please do not be discouraged folks. yeah... no. would rather use jolt. of the three. if i'm forced to use only the two i'd use pain resonance since basement hooks are scourge and basements are easy bait zones with certain builds. i don't have time to kick 7 gens and chase a survivor around for 30 seconds just to make them explode 1 time. would rather focus the area i'm in and if it's a map like meat factory i'll be more effective than with either perk using jolt.
Basement hooks are not Scourge Hooks without monstrous shrine
-
@JakeTheDohg said:
Yup, just like that
Which one do you feel like is more unfair / too easy to use as killer?
I post this because I mainly play killer, although I also play survivor. But I don't like eruption because a 3 gen becomes unbearable to defend, mainly because of how easy/boring it is. I like PR because at least I feel like I deserve that gen regression (I hate that hooks tend to spawn so randomly, but whatever)
And when I play as survivor man, killers going full COB, Overcharge & Eruption is boring as hell. Doing gens feels even more tedious than ever.
So my question is: what do you guys like to use / play against?
I don't love either, I don't really like hook killing and prefer to kill them myself 🤷♂️
And if they genrush me that's fine too because I have rancor lol

That would be too easy. You want a solution which is fair to both survivors and killers. Deadhard is not run by everyone so making it a solution to block ghost hits would not be OP. Since it is taking up a perk slot it should be a useful perk against any hit, not just the main killer. It works on Nemesis zombies, why not Knight's ghosts?
