And play at the 30 FPS with a dark ass television color correction that I already play at? And all the frame drops and lack of graphic options and No Nvidia filters to make the game not an oil spot. I wouldn't wish them to come suffer with us.
I just said that because I'm constantly told to just buy a PC when we discuss any problems on console. But it does make me laugh that PC players spend so much more for their frame rates.
-
Killer is way easier for beginners, that's for sure. And then when killers actually start going against survivors that know how to play, they lose their mind and think the game is unfair for them, not realizing they were never good to begin with and didn't really earn those kills.
-
When will PC players stop making posts about post-game chat?
-
Just buy a console.

If you know you can beat them, then beat them. If you know you can beat them, yet you lose to them, then it's pretty much your problem lol
Killers are doing this in bad faith and you know it.

It's not that deep. It's a video game. You're not entitled to victory.
You know that the killer is wrong in this situation. They take advantage and get a farm they didnt earn and four kills they didnt earn.
-
I mean, I wouldn't even take that as a loss. It's someone who is so bad at the game they had to fake farming to get kills. I see it more and more and I no longer interact with killers who farm. I'm just bored with it, and I"m not helping anyone because they're bad at the game.

Are we seriously still complaining about DS?
It's never enough for most killer mains.
-
Who decided survivors should be punished for playing the game and have DS deactivated for healing or tapping a gen?
Who decided to tunnel? It really is a shame that survivors have a chance to counter a killer who camps and tunnels. How tragic.
-
If you play survivor, neither of their six perks are worth using. Demo seems like he is worth getting though as a killer. It's up to you if you want to spend the money for Nancy and Steve, both who bring nothing to the game unless you're a fan of the show.
-
That's me whenever I play Claudette. I'm actually pretty good at this game, and I'm like, aww, this poor killer isn't going to know what to do when he finds out I'm actually good at the game.
-
Not at all. Once any halfway decent survivor knows you have those perks, it's not a problem. Three of those perks are a total waste against decent survivors, so please keep running that build.
-
I don't mind NOED. Low skill killers use it and they don't get much BP from getting three downs the entire game. I had a game the other day where a Wraith couldn't get a single down the entire game and got three kills because of NOED. It's my teammates' fault for letting him. It's kinda sad they think kills are all that matter, but that's the mentality of the overwhelming majority of killer mains ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Almost every killer camps and tunnels. The only time killers seem to truly leave is if they're running Devour. Don't let it bother you. Just like most survivors have no skill at the game, most killers don't either. There's no reason for them to not play cheap and easy.
-
I am constantly pushed off gens and totems. You might not be aware of it but that doesn't mean it's not happening.
-
I agree. Let them leave. Let me leave. If the game has been more than seven minutes long and my three teammates haven't managed to do a single ######### gen in all that time, I want out. I am forced to stay in or get banned, and I can't kill myself on hook anymore. To be honest, I play the game less and less because of these things that only help killers and reward them for making the game worse for survivors.
-
@ZaroktheImmortal said:
Then the killer decides to go for you instead like I'm on a gen and someone runs around where I am and the killer comes after me instead. It makes me wish more people ran bond so they could not keep leading the damn killer to me.
People do it on purpose. Most survivors have no idea that it might be better to get hooked if it means a gen gets done. Survivor is all about give and take, but most people are too selfish and unskilled. I recently got Nancy and was using Better Together, and several times a game, other teammates would come to me on my gen while they were being chased. Instead of them leading them away and giving me time to finish and maybe getting hooked, I'd get injured too, one of us would go down, and the gen did not get finished. That's NOT the play, chief. But again, if you're playing solo survivor, you're working against the killer AND your teammates.

I tend to hover between ranks 4-6 and I feel what holds me back is my inability to run a killer for any more than 30 seconds at most. I have watched one friend who is really good at, and have only gone from not being able to loop, to be able to loop once or twice for those 30ish seconds. Also, were you just immediately a godly looper, or did it take you time, and if so how long? My best loops are usually the Demogorgons! Note: I refuse to use dead hard after listening to everyone complain about how broken the perk is. All feedback is appreciated.
Dear Hard fails constantly. It works maybe half the time, the other half of the time you're exhausted on the ground. But if you want to refuse to use perks that are in the game and can help you do what you want, that's far more noble than any killer you would be.
-
You're rank 1 and you want to go all the way back to rank 15. Jesus Christ.
-
It's honestly shocking how little they do when this is a horror game. I guess they have no reason to do anything. We all keep playing, don't we?
-
Yeah I had a Bubba game the other day which I normally like, but he came to me at the start and I didn't have a pallet or window at the gen, so I went down. He stood over my the entire time until I bled out. I would have been fine with that but someone came over and also got downed. I feel sad for people like that, who feel so bad about themselves in their real life they need to ruin games for people for fun, but I am also mad that the devs put a DC penalty in place and now I have to just sit there and let them get away with it.
-
Blast Mine, Quick and Quiet, Red Herring, Head On.
-
I'm ######### tired of losing add ons because killers are AFK and want to derank, and the devs had to make that change to punish survivors, so if you're AFK, you should be banned.

After reading a lot about Dead Hard, I was wondering what exhaustion perk you would run if it doesn't exist. I mean, if DH is the one you use/would use.
If we had no Dead Hard, I'd run Sprint Burst. I already switch a lot between DH and SB. I like the fact it's useful outside of chases: you can run faster to sit on another generator, to make a save, to escape through the Exit Gates...
And contrary to DH, I can use it when I'm healthy.
What would be yours? Explain the reason of your choice, I'd like to know it!
Dead Hard hasn't existed for console players for months because the RE chapter broke the game for us.
The only exhaustion perks we can use without it freezing the game are Sprint Burst and Balanced Landing. I've been using Balanced but it does suck since there is at least one map that has no place to use it.

I'm not talking about being slow or inefficient I mean legit not touching gens at all.
I just had a game where none of my team even went near a gen at all, 10mins into the match I'm still the only one to of touch gens and lead on chases. They're all just walking round the map not doing a thing
I had a game on Red Forrest the other day where 7 minutes and 20 seconds into the game, I was the only person who had touched a gen. I ran up to the Clown and killed myself.
-
My teammates are just as braindead no matter what. It made no difference to me.

Yeah, survivors should be stuck in games so that killers can feel scary and powerful and have everything happen the way they want.

Why did you watch their stream? Why did you watch BOTH of their streams? Why do you read the post-game chat? Why did you respond with things that are going to get you banned? You're not going to get banned because you were "out numbered, " so if you are banned, it's because YOU chose to say things that are bannable. All of these things YOU chose to do.
People constantly tell you you're unlovable? I've received a lot of messages and hate via in-game chat in other games, and not once have I ever been told I'm unlovable. I have a feeling I've been playing games longer than you've been alive.
I'm glad you're taking a break from the game because I don't know why anyone plays if they're not having fun, but you also admitted you did things that might get you banned, so maybe you should have stepped away sooner.
And hackers are a part of every game you play on PC. It's just the price you pay for those great frame rates. Companies that are much bigger than Behaviour struggle with hackers.
I dunno, it sounds like this post was just a whole lot of excuses, but I hope you feel better after a break. I didn't play this game for nine months because I wasn't having fun.
-
I'm still waiting for any of the people who make these posts to tell me why they still play a game they don't like. They literally never answer me. I guess I'll just ask the next person who makes this identical post, saying it's so stressful and unfun to play killer.
-
This game has never been easier for killers
-
Haven't bought a tome since the first one. I'm not givng devs money for something that makes the game worse.

As we're nearing the release of Pinhead, I've found myself feeling quite disappointed at the sheer lack of substance on display with the next "chapter".
To start, I don't mean to sound ungrateful - Pinhead has clearly had a lot of passion and effort put into him and I'm very glad to see it. I'm genuinely looking forward to learning and playing him.
The lack of communication as to why the next "chapter" is essentially a paragraph really irks me though. The devs clearly know of it too because in the PTB survey they asked if not having any survivor content is a problem. If you ask me, it is. If they're so insistent on sticking to their content schedule as BHVR has always insisted they are, why are they now deciding to stagger the content like this? Why are we supposedly seeing a chapter's worth of content divided up?
No new map, no new survivor (until the next mid-chapter if rumours are to be believed) and no clear cut communication as to why.
To make matters worse, If the next chapter had a lot of other balance changes bundled into it, I would be more than satisfied with it but no, not even that. Very minor tweaks to Nemesis aside. We're not even getting another realm beyond update which is the main reason we had three chapters that came with no map to begin with.
If any of this comes across as entitled or ungrateful, I don't mean it that way - I just wanted to rant about something that's been bothering me and see if anyone else feels the same.
Eh, not the first time the devs are giving us only a killer. It's boring for survivors.

Moris are not bad anymore. If i get moried its usually when i'm dead anyway
I didn't say anything about moris. I'm taking about the 'get two kills with whatever killer' challenge. I've always thought it contributed to killers facecamping. It's a killer they don't like and play regularly but they want the challenge done, they get it over by facecamping. I don't blame the killer, I just think the challenges are to blame for some of it.
-
And in how many games as a solo do your teammates do more harm than the killer?
-
I don't know who that is but I hope so. Far more complicated games run on those "old gen" consoles without any issues. And those "old gen" consoles are still what the overwhelming majority of console players are using. I think maybe the only way to get the devs' attention would be to hit them in the wallet.
-
The overwhelming majority of killers camp and tunnel. It requires no skill and a lot of survivors have no idea how to counter it, if they are even willing. Demo at least usually portals away before coming straight back to the hook. Most killers never even do that.
-
I just hope it's not indoors.

I think it’s easy to agree that survivor perks are significantly more game changing than killer ones. Ruin Undying? Hard countered so easily by so many things.
NOED? Killer has probably already lost the game by then. I can’t really think of anything else that’s a huge game changer for killer. Maybe tinkerer but that’s only as good as it is if ruin is up.
There’s nothing as close as impactful as perks like DS/BT/DH/Unbreakable/etc that’s for sure
Killers trying to kill rush get slapped by every survivor perk in the book but survivors can rush the gens penalty free just about
Do killers not realize their job is to stop us from doing gens? To win, we need to do gens. Why should survivors make the game easier for their opponents?
Toolboxes have been nerfed into the ground, I see no reason to even search chests anymore. I am not afraid to play injured, I'm not looting the chest in the basement, praying for a medkit. Small Game has been nerfed into uselessness now, I'll do totems if I come across them and YOLO the risk of NOED now instead of taking the time to find all five before the last gen is done. Dead Hard breaks the game on console, it's unusable, and doesn't even work half the time anyway, and DS has been destroyed. I hardly ever see anyone run it anymore. And thank god there is a chance to counter a killer who slugs. I don't know why there shouldn't be one, other than the fact killer mains don't like it.
-
The overwhelming majority of my games as a solo survivor, all three of my teammates will heal nonstop, and stop playing entirely when there are two gens left to do. It's up to me to run the killer for 3-4 minutes and finish the last gen entirely alone, while injured, if I want a chance to escape.
It's not gen speeds that are a problem, it's same skill level SWFs vs solo queue. It's impossible to balance this game on both sides for all levels. Some games will be great, some will be garbage. All of my friends quit playing this game because I was a red rank survivor and they were noobs, and every game gave us a red rank killer. We couldn't even get two gens gone most games. I literally had six friends try the game and quit because of this.

And the queue times certainly reflect the high demand for the role......
Whether it's the hatred of basically every map in the game, from maps where every tile is LT, double LT, or cabin, or maps where there's probably actually 40+ windows, or maps where every gen is totally safe and inside a house, 2nd floor or basement... i.e. MAPS that just feel like an auto-loss...
Or games that are going fine, struggle on both sides, then BAM, all of a sudden everyone escapes. Guess they had a key, maybe even found it in a chest...
And god forbid simply going against good Survivors, rather than Survivors that run into you all game because they don't know what a terror radius is... And feeling the sheer helplessness of an actual 4v1 video game...
It's just not fun anymore...
And don't say something like, "Take a break," or, "Then play something else."
These types of responses don't properly bring attention to the game's legitimate issues. Because like I said, the fact that Killer queues are instant 24 hours a day really speaks volumes. In a game where you need 4 times as many Survivors, but there are always enough to instantly fill a lobby...
Please just... stop... being dumb with this game...
If you don't like playing killer, stop. I'm not being a brat here. Why are you playing a game you don't like? Not to mention the fact that the game has never been easier for killer than it is right now. I'm not sure how long you've been playing, but loops have been reworked, windows have been removed, survivors perks have been destroyed, End Game Collapse exists at all, just to name a few major changes that help killers.
If you're not having fun, take a break. Don't but the Tome so you feel like you HAVE to play. Or try survivor for a while. Why are you playing a game you don't like? Because you used to like it? I promise you, they're not changing it back.
-
@Clevite said:
Maybe they had a daily, try not to take it so seriously
I still wish they'd get rid of the dailies for kills like that. I don't blame killers for just wanting to get it over with, especially if it's a killer they don't like or ever play, but it creates crappy games for survivors.
-
@MrDrMedicman said:
We all got more bp than you, how's 1 kill feel?
I went against a Trickster who brought in three ultra rares and actually lost BP during his one kill game. I don't get it either. But most killer mains seem to think kills are all that matter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
LOL
-
The fact that survivors can cleanse and that NOED rewards unskilled killers are not mutually exclusive. But it's not earned. You "earned" three kills when you couldn't get a single down the entire game because you chose to rely on a perk that bails you out? No you didn't, but it's too bad survivors didn't cleanse.
-
@Kyxlect said:
You don't need to apologize for playing the game bro. It's incredibly Survivor sided, they're spoiled rotten and what happens when you do that? They get super entitled. Playing Survivor is easy. Playing Killer is not and it's tremendously stressful. You do what YOU do as a Killer to Survive.
Playing killer is laughably easy for newer players. Then when killers rank up before they actually learned the game, they're shocked when survivors are actually good and they never realize they weren't good at all, the survivors were just really bad.
If playing killer is stressful, stop playing the game. It's a game. It should be fun. I'm a survivor main and have a lot of fun playing killer. But yeah, you're right, it was easy to run a killer for five gens and then get left on my first hook without a single teammate even trying to save me :):):)
The game has never been easier for killer.
-
@fogdonkey said:
I tried to play nice and "survivor friendly"... But it just doesn't work. I can't afford 4 people to sit on gens. Survivors are not playing "killer friendly", they are just pushing gens without even healing. Especially these SWFs are completely destroying me.
Maybe it is also because I play weaker killers like Trickster. Sometimes it takes a lot of time until I manage to down a competent survivor. And if they run to the shack, I am usually just forced to give up the chase, because the gens will be flying.
Anyway... I just start to hate this game.
No you don't.
You choose to and that's fine, but don't act like you are forced to do it. Just yesterday I had three games where a survivor DC'ed. One was just a disconnect right after loading in, two were rage quits right at the start. It doesn't matter why though. If killers ABSOLUTELY have to camp and tunnel to get one person out of the game, why do they still do it the overwhelming majority of the time when someone DCs without having to camp and tunnel? You're down a survivor with no time at all invested except maybe one chase, which is way faster than three hooks would have been, and yet damn near every killer still camps, tunnels, and slugs in those situations. Another thing that happens almost always, is that when I want out of a game, killers will not hook me. I get messages saying they knew I wanted out but refused to do it.
So no, you don't HAVE to or NEED to. You choose to. That's fine, but it's your choice and no one else's.
-
The overwhelming majority of killers camp and tunnel. It's easy and requires no skill. Most survivors don't know how to counter it and are unwilling to try, because it's easy to let your teammate die and requires experience and the right perks to make the save. The devs will never do anything about it because it's a choice killers make every time. I ALWAYS run Borrowed Time now since the devs destroyed DS. If it's a killer like Bubba, BT probably won't make a difference. Let them get their one kill, and three people should do gens and get an easy escape. If it's a killer who can't insta-down you, then you have to either run BT to give them a chance and take hits if you can. You could also try to trade, but most killers just slug you so they can tunnel, and then they'll come back to you because chances are you teammates didn't pick you up. Solo queue is very hard because of this. You're working against the killer and relying on your teammates to actually help you, which most are unwilling to do.
-
@TheMadCat said:
Not everyone plays to farm. Booping the snoot? OK. Then, back to the game.
Of course they don't. The overwhelming majority of Pigs are playing for real. But if one is crouching and not trying to hit you, and she says, "Roar roar roar," they're probably just having fun with killer and not trying to get kills.
-
Legion.
I find it absolutely shocking how many of my teammates go down because they don't mend, or how many throw pallets when he's in frenzy, or how many spend the entire game self-caring and never even looking in the direction of a gen. I kill myself as fast as I can against Legions now.
-
Have you played solo queue lately? I just had a game where I was the only person working on gens and not a single gen popped in five minutes because people CANNOT play injured. Not one gen got done, I got slugged twice and my gen got kicked twice and I killed myself on hook. No, the game doesn't need even more slow down.
