It’s frustrating to get dodged for ages but it’s also frustrating versing a coordinated team.
Maybe give killers some sort of incentive to actually verse these SWF teams.
I've suggested an end of game blood point bonus for each swf player. 100% for 4 man, 75% for 3 man, 50% for 2man swf, and 25% for 1 2man and 2 solo players.

BHVR already said it's not going to happen. And I don't think this would be a QoL improvement. It would probably get worst. Maybe reflect on your in-game behavior, maybe people don't wanna play with you because of something, I dunno...
No. It's not my game behavior. Nice try though.
-
Should I buy this a Cadillac or a KIA? Same cost.
-
Bloodpoints obvi.

Nobody is obligated to play against people they don't want to...
This is exactly why less info needs to be given to killers. They just don't want to play against certain people. Could be that they loaded in together, could be items, could be cosmetics. Sad. Meanwhile I got dodged again numerous times. Just boring.

How about you go play a different game. You're the one opening up threads complaining about dodges. Instead of talking about the real reasons why people are dodging.
You're basically asking the Devs to dick over killer mains by forcing them to play against try hard survivors with toolboxes, just to appease your desire to overwhelm killers in this game.
Again. How about YOU go play another game if you don't like it. It goes both ways.
Nah. I just switch to killer and play. And I don't dodge, because I'm not soft or afraid of to-to-to-tool boxes.
I played 3 survivor games in 2 hours last night. And abouy 12 killer games in a little over 3 hours. If you don't think that's a problem, I don't know what to tell you.

The reason why you're allowed to see what they survive or has it so you could somewhat adept your build around it.
Four flashlights you might run lightborn or Franklin's demise same thing if you notice a bunch of medkits or various items.
As a killer lightborn is so meh and situational literally there's not much point in running it as a general part of your perk build. Hell I wouldn't equip the Perk unless I actively know that there is more than 2 people with flashlights
Yet instead, clearly players don't adapt, they just leave.

You make it sound like us killers don't have to wait for ten minutes ourselves. I don't want to wait ten minutes, only to pop into a lobby with three toolboxes and a key. You might think it's fun to gen rush a five minute match and teabag out the exit, but I don't. Is it too much to ask for survivors to suck it up and leave your toys at home so we can have a decent ten minute match?
I play plenty of killer. Outside of early mornings or when the servers are messed up, there is zero wait time for killer matches.
-
Yeah. This should be a casual game anyway. You think I want to just gen rush and have 5 minute matches? I'm literally complaining about spending too much time in lobbies.
-
Lol at some of people cool with 30 minute wait times. "What's the harm?"
The harm would be people migrating to other games. For a healthy player base, it would probably make sense for players to actually find matches.

Yes, it is. Why play a game if you aren't going to have fun?
Then go play a completely different game.
-
@Pulsar said:
Is it hurting anyone to dodge? A lot of Killers just want to have a casual game, not a tryhard mess.
Personally, I don't usually dodge. If I see four toolboxes, I'll bring Franklin's and some good add-ons, maybe a Ivory Mori.
Is it too much to ask for killers to suck it up so players don't have to wait 30 minutes to play a 10 minute game?

@Galklife said:
@underlord99 some ppl dont want to play vs 4 toolboxes, maps etc, well i when im playing surv i dont want to play vs ebony mori, can i dodge that? nope
You can dodge moris. During the loading screen.

@underlord99 said:
I think it's because some people do not want to go against 4 toolboxes , or keys . beats me tho
Exactly. The developers need to make changes to certain add-ons to appease the killers and hide information from killers.

It was an out-of-state bank.

Survivors - hate getting people who spend first two minutes farming with unhooking each other until they die.
Killers - face campers and tunnelers. Sure, you might say it's tAcTiC, but it's really braindead tactic. Plus it's literally preventing (at least) one player to have any chance to play the game. Forget exiting or something, just playing. I've just had three games where killer decided to chase me, only me, ignoring gens, other survivors, just 100% after me. Team completed 4 gens and eventually I died and killer just stood under the hook.
There should really be some kind of punishment for the killer or reward for survivor if that happens. 5min non stop chase? Come on game, give me something, haste, BP bonus after the game, anything. Losing rank in that situation is not my fault, I literally can't do anything.
Lol. The game already gave you a god loop, a couple of jungle gyms, and abouy 10 pallets during your five minute chase. The game doesn't need to give you anything else.
-
BT is strong enough, but it probably should just be determined by meters and not terror radius.
Just my take.

In a perfect world, absolutely. Although people can (and do) use it to dodge lobbies, and that's not something we want to see return.
Cool. Then can you guys do more to prevent killers dodging? Maybe show them less info. Not at all uncommon to get dodged multiple times and have to wait 20-30 times before matches on PS4.
-
Whatever you do- Don't. Fall. Asleep.
-
Death is not an escape.
But feel free to DC or suicide on hook at your convenience.

There shouldn't even be a path. There should be a list. You check the objective you want to complete and go for it.
Also, the lack of rewards for doing the challenges is just not even close to enough. 700,000 total for this difficult tome? Oh wooooow. That doesn't even get a level 1 survivor to level 30.
Those are really the two simple fixes that I expect not to happen anytime soon because $$$.
-
Nevermind. I just had to turn off my game and turn it back on.

That then ain't an issue, easier on pc as console not everyone can get messages (privacy settings)
I play on console.
-
As killer if I have interest in farming (bp, trophies, challenges, etc) I send a prematch message asking "farm or regular"? If they pick one I go with what they say. If they ignore me I just play regular.
-
This is correct. A+ post. No sarcasm.
I don't mind difficult challenges, but the reward needs to match the difficulty level.

@AngryFluffy said:
That's why I wish there was something in the lobby, telling the killer how many swf people are in there....
I have stopped counting how many times I got tunneled to death and mori'd, because a killer thought he's going against a full strong swf team, while I only played solo or with one friend.
It's frustrating and some killers even apologised in the chat after realizing they assumed wrong.
An indicator in the lobby would not only help the killer prepare, but also help the survivors not to go against the strongest builds and "sweatiest" killers when playing solo.
Nah. We would just get more lobby dodging. No thank you.

Dont forget EGC. Turns a lot of previous 3k's into 4k's without balance changes. That alone could explain the increase in killrate. I dont feel anything has changed balancewise.
EGC is a balance change

Freddy was just a school groundskeeper.
-
It probably doesn't even need a cooldown at all. Most killers break pallets or they simply don't need to.
-
Yeah. It should have been implemented years ago.
-
I'm sure it is random, but almost everytime I'm wraith it's at springwood.
-
Both tomes completed. Tier 52.
-
Lagging out while struggling or having teammates that lag out while struggling. Really dumb game mechanic that probably 95% hate, but it stays in due to reasons.
There are other things that can be improved, but that one is such a no-brainer that it boggles my mind that it's still in the game.

For real? Oh snap! Ggs
How is it like to face it on the survivor side of things?
It's a good build as I like jump scares and it forces survivors to play different instead of run to pallet to next pallet.
That said, I've just been running into it a ton lately, so just getting a little sick of it. I just like variety.
VGG though!
-
You just killed me with it. I was the Tapp. Gg.

Slug.

34 all tome 1 done
-
Those guys are turds. But it's just as scummy as killers that ask to farm and then 4k which happens too. Not really pointing this out to the OP, but just towards the general tone of the remaining comments. People are jerks sometimes sorry you had that happen to you OP.
-
Instead of a weak DC bonus of 650, it should just take however many points that dc'er has accumulated and give 50% of that to the killer and split the rest between the remaining living survivors.
Or 100% to the killer if the survivor gets put via hatch.

Again you can use BT to safe and have the full effect but you will not get the event "Safe unhook".
Yeah we understand. It's just a really dumb idea.
-
Is wlgf still broken right now?
-
Nope. Just playing like I usually do with some slight adjustments depending on if I'm doing a challenge or not.

Because the devs want to take away every advantage killers could possibly have. Down to the finest detail and mechanic.
Lol end game collapse might have been one of the biggest killer buffs in the history of the game. Sorry you're only going to get your 4k 90% of time instead of 50%.

If they wanna buff killers to be able to deal with swf, then Spirit is the best balancing ground since she's perfect for that. Ironic
Fwiw I don't think they need to nerf spirit.

You made a clear statement, as it is a fact they wont nerf SWF.
Yes they have to, since 3/4 man groups are to powerful. There are definitly ways to nerf SWF.
The game has some ballance issues, and this is one part of it. Same with Killers like Nurse (still) and Spirt, they are simply to strong.
Am i wrong here or what?
Yes. You are wrong.
The devs have said before that they are not nerfing or getting rid of swf.
They have said that they would like to bring solo players up to swf bit haven't really done anything to acheive that.
Also, they just need to buff killers and rework most of the maps. If they did this then they could leave swf and it would still be a win to killers.

It's actually 6k every time you do one cause of double BP. Then if you are running BBQ / WGLF it's actually 9k.
9k for a hook or gen is pretty good.....
Wglf isn't even working correctly right now.

I expect more farming to occur.

Bruh just stalk someone to ew2 it’s not that hard honestly
and spine chill is a good perk but it’s not that popular
I don’t think he is that hurt by this change
Spine chill is definitely a popular perk. Almost a must as a solo player. Used plenty with swf. Maybe not meta, but I would be shocked if it wasn't in the top ten of survivor used perks in terms of frequency.
-
@thrawn3054 said:
Why is the retort always about a killer being bullied? OoO was a high risk, high reward kind of perk. You took the risk of giving the killer perfect information in exchange for perfect information on them. Which is not to say that toxic people didn't use it. They absolutely did. But it wasn't like the killer was left helpless. As for the new iteration, just disable it when a killer is in stealth.
With the amount of pallets and loops and with how fast gens get done, is it really high risk?

My hag has a basement build and even with that I haven't hooked all 4 in the basement at the same time. I've gotten all 4 to the basement but usually one has already died.
Dark sense one is pretty hard
Noed one is relatively hard since it's usually cleansed or people just say "Noed, imma head out" and leave a guy on the hook.
