BBQ, Discordance, Whispers, Nurses calling as Huntress. I don't use slowdown perks, all 4 perks for detection. Probably it's not really niche build.
-
It's boring when survivors give up on hook or disconnect because of iri head.
-
Top 10 anime betrayals.
When you accept farming offer from killer you should always keep in mind he can kill you. Sure 99% of killers will let you escape while farming. But you still can find killer like this legion. You take the risk.
It's not bannable because you actually let him kill you. It's silly to report killer for doing his objective. As silly as calling perks and addons toxic.
-
If you had Sprint Burst in your build, DS was useless even before nerf.
Killer rarely tunnel off hook if you sprint away.
And you already have 3 strong ass perks, 4th could be anything.

Good job man! You're doing great! My dad also plays DBD, however I don't think he approves of me maining Trickster, Probably thought I'd grow up to be a Doctor or something...
With jokes like this you will be great dad.

Russian comunity has some established nicknames, but it more like simplification and it's not really creative:
Borrowed time = Clock
Unbreakable = Boner
Bill = Granddad
DS = Shard
Spine Chill = Cat
Object of Obsessiion = Eye
Dead Hard = Nut (because of adaptation)

I don't know if I'm allowed to say this but I believe it's been leaked that the next rift will only require 500xp per rift fragment instead of 800xp, which almost cuts the number of games you need to play in half. That would mean that just completing all the challenges would be enough to get to tier 70.
I live for this change. I hope it's true.
It will make 10 games to get 1 level instead of current 15. Without challenges it's still 2.5 hours per level instead of current 3.7. Good change anyway if it's true.
-
Bottom perks are mostly situational or help in something that no one struggle with. So it's not so easy to make it better. But I would like to have more strong perks to make more different builds.

I feel you.
Sometimes i wonder if the rocket pass isn't almost too nice.... I mean the ease it allows to get through the whole thing, the rewards, and the fact it gives you items even after lvl 70....its just a joy to go through!
It's just too bad i suck and can barely rank up but hey that's another story
Ranks in RL are actually require you to sweat and learn hard ass pro player tricks. DBD is more rank up friendly. This is probably why people keep saying that rank doesn't mean skill in dbd.
I'm a noob in rocket league as well (silver-gold ranks) but I mostly play casual and enjoy it.

@BlindMole said:
I never did actually. I understood from rift 1 it was unfriendly grindy! Plus I have been playing Rocket league and it has a waaaay better pass that i actually bought. I just want 2 more challenges on this one to get season rewards before the next one.
Sadly I had to complete 5 rifts to realise that.
On 6th rift I got exhausted from dbd for a while. Then I tried Rocket league and rocket pass was so easy to complete compared to dbd rift. So I desided to play killer in dbd just for fun when I feel like. I probably never get back to grinding rifts.

I actually have seen it in steam store when it was in early access or even pre-release. I remember there was some trailers from devs talking how revolutionary this game will be or something. I've been thinking that this game will be so cool, I'd like to play it. But I forgot to add it to wishlist.
Then after couple of months I found series of long letsplays from some guy on youtube. It was 2016, game was raw and had some serious issues with balance and performance. There was insta-heals, brand new parts were devastating, exhaustion perks could recover while you run, facecamp could prevent any attempt of saving, beartraps could be placed right under hooked survivor and on top of that this game could crash any ######### moment. But even then core idea of the game was interesting.
I tried the game on free weekend in 2017. My pc was barely run this game with 20 fps but I liked it anyway.

Shroud of separation. It's only good if you want to lose intentionally.
Survivor's shrouds are also bad.

"Tick tock tick tock the decisive nerf is almost here" "no more useless survivors getting another second chance" there's more these are just 2 I can remember off the top of my head because they're obviously there to annoy survivors
I don't really see why you got offended by first one. But second one call some group of survivors useless for relying on perk. At the same time you combine all killers and call them the worst and toxic.
You just ignore huge amount good killers who never talk ######### to survivors. And killers who constructively discuss the changes. You just generalizing killers in the worst way possible, because some guys make posts that offended you somehow.

Read the titles of their posts then tell me they aren't toxic
May I ask for examples? I don't see any toxic article on first page of general discussions.
-
So toxicity is whining about buffs and nerfs?
-
I'd like to have some emotes for comunication, like crossing arms to say stop, or whistle to call someone.
But bugs bunny style emotes and fortnite dances will make this game look stupid.
-
It's grindy as #########. ~600 xp per match, it's about 14-15 matches to get 1 level. It's almost 4 hours to get 1 level without challenges.
-
As Huntress main I can say that basement is devastating if I camp. So if I catch someone going to unhook, it's not gonna end with exchange, it will end with both survivors hooked there. Basement hooks can be truly effective.
But most of the time I like to try some bbq shots and then go for distant survivors. So if I have a choice to hook in basement or regular hook, I avoid basement. Basement hooks feel like waste of time if you leave it. If you invest your time in basement hook you need to make it work. You have to stay there and pressure altruism.
I personally prefer to pressure gens, so I don't really like to hook in basement.
-
Can confirm. It didn't count at Lery's
-
But DS still protect from being tunneled. I don't see any killer complain. Maybe you meant abusers complain because they are not protected while not being tunneled anymore?
-
When I've seen suggestions about adding a fnaf chapter, I've been thinking this people are massively trolling and it's obvious we never get it in dbd, because it doesn't fit into dbd at all. But dbd going wider and wider in killers admissibility. So it makes fnaf chapter more an more possible after every new killer release. I don't really know how I feel about it.
-
Oh, you probably meant hex: huntress lullaby. I thought you mean huntresses' humming radius.
All I know, huntress lullaby only have effect on gens skillchecks, so beartrap, desicive strike and healing skillchecks will have normal audio cue even if you have all 5 stacks. But I'm not sure about oppression and overcharge, because it's a gen skillchecks afterall.
-
There is no perks relate to huntress lullaby.
-
I main Huntress, but I have long lasting periods of playing another killers. I played Hillbilly for days, now I'm up to play Ghostface.
-
Bully squads is actually my favorite type of swf. They don't do gens, so it means they gonna die. They often do stupid mistakes, because loop with friends always end up with unintended bodyblocking. They are overaltruistic and swarming around you so it's easy to bait them for free hits.
Take every free hit they give you. Bait flashlight saves and don't fall for CJ tech. Eventually you will be ready to any stupid ######### they know and you will kill them before all pallets wasted. Don't be upset and have fun killing them.
If they not doing gens, it means they have chosen death.
-
You should be close and straight behind survivor.
I did this chalenge with doctor. He can shock survivors who want to vault the window or pallet. Then you can come closer and wait for vault. There is important thing, you can't grab healthy person from vault. It's always will be a hit. Also you can grab from window only if it's slow or medium vault. Fast vaults can't be interrupted. Pallet vaults can be interrupted even if it fast, because there is no medium pallet vault. For pallet grabs you can use Enduring. It helps sometimes when survivor messed up.
Healthy person could only be grabbed from gen, from hook, from totem and from locker. And probably from chest, but I'm not sure.
-
Use best add-ons that prolong feral frenzy. When you hit 4 survivors, first one will probably finish mending, so you can hit him again. It's possible to hit 6 and 7 survivors if you lucky.
Main condition, survivors should not spread out too much. So it's matter of luck.
-
I can't tell. Is it devotion level 19 or 39?

Yeah I know. I only mentioned it since they did. If you want to strictly use shards don't get him next obvi
I'm awful with PH. He is probably strong killer, but you need to be extremely precise with your ranged attack. If you don't affraid of high skill ceiling, you should probably unlock him.
I bought him, but I don't have much courage to learn him yet. I like when learning killer require a skill, but PH seems to tough for me currently.
Well, maybe OP will have better expirience with him.
-
I would unlock Oni because I play killer more. And for me playing Oni was fun for a long time.
-
@IWasLeft2Die said:
It sounds like you know what you want tbh. I like pyramid head a ton personally so I'm inclined to say him for killer next.
He is licensed. You can't unlock him with shards.
-
I got it when chase just begun. I hop into a locker with quick and quiet.
-
Weaklings will give up even if stuggle stage will be replaced with skillchecks.
I hate playing survivor only because of selfish teammates that ruin the game giving up early.
They always say they don't want to waste time. But quiting from game early is actually wasting more time than if you tried to play to the end. Why the ######### you playing if you don't want to waste time on playing?
From the bottom of my heart I hate and despise evey quitter personally for that awful disrespecting of their teammates. I would slug to death everyone of them.

I asked If they COULD do it^^ thats what i want to know :)
They can. But they not gonna do this. Every update has a list of added features and fixed bugs. So they can't allow to step back and revert a work. They rather try to fix new bugs, than get back to old build.

Isn't OOO a secret message to the killer for "I want to be tunneled" anyway? 🤔
I can live with same outfits, with twitchshirts, with flashlights, even keys are okay, but a tbagging OOO right at the beginning of the round or even two somehow triggers me. Then there is a lot of love from me and attention. <3
And since they then all still heroically want to save the best in front of my nose, you're right, it's very satisfying.
I remember I was playing as Spirit and get a t-bagging Laurie with OoO. It was so satisfying to phase walk and land a first hit in her face right after match start. Instant karma. Streamer guy who wasn't in her team have seen this moment. He was actually shocked, but then he quickly figured that is Laurie with toxiс nickname using OoO. I saved this replay.
-
When survivors get only 3 gens done, half team died and half escaped trough the hatch. But it doesn't feel like a victory though.
-
Well if they are coordinated, they know how to win. So it's a hard challenge.
Normally Hag is good for defence. You can build a net and survivors will ######### die there.
SWF will destroy your whole net while you carrying survivor to the hook, so it's a waste of time. So just place several random traps somewhere just in case. It will probably work out later. And then just place traps while chasing in loops. If they bold enough to destroy your trap right after placing, you can bait them. Pretend placing trap and let go. Survivor will run into your face for free hit. If they not fail to the bait, they will probably abandon loop.
Good thing you can ignore pallets. So instead of breaking pallet, place a trap. It will make them go for trap or go for another loop.
When you see survivor running into a trap, start spamming teleport button like a maniac. It's always a free hit that only can be avoided with dead hard if they react in time.
-
As Huntress I often feel helpless on Haddonfield, and Yamaoka maps. Most indoor maps give her a hard time.
As Hag I'm devastating on every indoor map. At the same time I can't do ######### on corn maps, unless survivors are potatoes.
-
It do reset anyway. I never get more than 5 minutes ban, and I had several disconnets for different reasons. Not in one day obviously. But I believe I had disconect once on next day after previous one, so it's probably 24 hours to reset.
-
I think now is worst time to have a break.
There still a lot of issues that should be fixed as soon as possible. Changing UI seem thoughtless, but they said it was made to add stuff in a future. It's just require polishing, same as animations. All that was planned long time before, and it was released between chapters for better focus.
Game map with huge amount of god pallets probably require more information to make it more balanced.
Desync issue was probably unexpected even for devs. Same as emblem system failure. Same as bugs on reworked maps. It's all just a bugs and it will be fixed eventually.
So if devs take a break and all this problems will stay as it is, game will probably lose a big chunk of playerbase for a while, and a lot of lost players will never come back because they find another game to play.

Huntress wins on brute force, yes. But what people seems to forget is that Deathslinger doesn't have the brain of a mentally underdeveloped 5 year old girl.
The guy's in fact, a total genius. Pretty sure he would find a way to outsmart her easily. Raw power isn't everything in a fight.
And regarding the huntress tome video, I'd doubt Deathslinger's tactic would be to just brainlessly run at her and get beaten to death like those soldiers did. Nobody would truly behave like that.
Huntress is more than undeveloped 5 year old girl. She was practicing hunting her whole life without any other interests in life (beside kidnapping girls that were dying on her hands, making her rage and sadness bigger). She is strong and absolute precise killing machine. She know how to track her pray. She is stronger than Deathslinger and she as smart as him in terms of hunting. If there was a movie Huntress vs Deathslinger, I think it would be a story about smart cowboy making his tough way to defeat unbeatable hatchet beast.
And if we look at this fight in game mechanic and take "2 hits to down" as a rule, Huntress would win, because she has faster recovery to make next hit.

Well you acknowledged it and what's causing it so that's a good first step.
I would just not play DBD if at all possible haha.
If that really isn't an option however, play with friends as a SWF if survivor- ones that won't let you just roll over them and treat them poorly and will keep you in line if your attitude is being a problem, but not keep bring it up either afterwards.
If you play Killer....hoo boy.....well maybe try playing with literally no gen slow down, now pop, nothing. Just....don't even try to protect your gens and do whatever the hell you want. Have fun with it, you'll start to realize how little a lot of things mean in this game and how much BS and luck is involved too. Literally give yourself so many disadvantages that the concept of winning is a laughable feat.
Take dumb perks, no addons, give the other side so many advantages. It will help deflate the ego side that is often the trigger of anger. Also it will give you the benefit of making your wins have more weight and feel more rewarding.
Probably best answer. I'd like it to be pinned, but luckily it's aready a first comment.

I'm not good with flashlights. I saw them as cheese and put off learning to use them for a while. Just as I was getting the hang of them they went and changed how flashlights work, so I stopped using them once again.
I can stun Bubba. The problem was the killers I kept getting matched up against.
Killers often respect pallets that potentially could stun them without hitting survivor. So for me flashlight was better option. Even if it's huntress, you may drop pallet early, and when she break it, you can put her in a blind streak.
That trick won't work on spirit as far as I remember. Not sure if they fixed her camera while breaking pallet.
-
I just blinded Bubba with flashlight. And then blinded again while he was recovering from first time.
-
Well, Yui has a rift challenges now, so you probably better get her first if it matters.
-
They are memers most of the time. They are playing for fun and never sweating. You can see them walking in crouch like a train. They will probably not gonna do gens. So it's kinda sad that you have to kill them.
Bully squads like to do last second switch. If survivors deside to bully you, they probably not gonna let you dodge the lobby. Bully squads also rarely doing gens. They more enjoy stunning, blinding, clicking and t-bagging untill you kill them.

I have 90k shards and nothing in the store is attractive to me. Hopefully the next chapter releases some nice cosmetics.
Same. But I have half less amount.
I like to unlock new cosmetics if it fits to some piece from the rift to make interesting outfit combos. Yui's shorts from rift fits to her happi coat for example. Together it looks like bathroom outfit.
