With the addition of counterforce, popularity of hex perks will most likely fluctuate rather than decrease indefinitely. Much like with the population of wild animals: Predator population may increase, leading to a decrease of prey animals, and subsequently leading to a decrease in predators, and therefore increase in prey.
Essentially:
Use of Counterforce goes up
Use of hexes goes down
Use of Counterforce goes down
Use of hexes goes up
Use of Counterforce goes up
And repeat

Are you sure they didn't just have a Styptic or MoM?

Pro tip, crouching reduces the noise you make. So even with stridor, you make 0 noise with iron will.
Actually that isn't true, even with Iron Will, crouching against Stridor doesn't remove all grunts of pain. According to DbD's way of calculating percentages it should, but it doesn't.

I personally really like Oni and Pig

You seriously dont see the difference? the clothes are spot on. I know the texture artists are better than this, they've done nothing but A+ work for years. They've more than enough talent to fix said issue.
Again, you're talking about the animations here. Animations determine how the actual layout of the skin moves, if you put Cybil's skin with Cheryl's facial animations, it would produce something similar to that. Wait until the RE chapter releases and he'll look just fine.

Animation has nothing to do with texture painting. The High resolution texture which was clearly shown in the trailer is not on this model. Lighting/shading no matter the animation speak for themselves and this was a clear bait and switch.
I personally see hardly any difference between the two, the only problem that I see with it currently are the facial animations, which are planned to be fixed with the release of the RE chapter

Whats the source? I'm browsing around and can't find any news on this..........thing.
The fact that his store animations make him look completely different to how he looks in game kind of shows that his animations aren't working as intended.
Here's how he looks in game
-
This would actually be really cool, in Silent Hill, Lisa's "death" actually involves her beginning to bleed from her face, would be cool to see that recreated for her skin in dbd
-
Apparently he looks better when he's in a match

But that's a 50/50 guess not a mind game or something you out play.
It would still be a 50/50 even if they got rid of the stand still mindgame, most good Spirits don't even do the stand still mindgame and there's still nothing you can do to try and extend chase.

He looks exactly like the image in lobby, but in game he looks better.
Just checked and you're correct, could possibly be a bug (hopefully)

That's my point.
But if you suspect a Spirit is faking her phase, all you have to do is leave the area, it's the least problematic part of her power.
-
That was caused by the fact that dataminers put Jonathan's model with Steve's animations. He was never intended to look like this image.
-
@Kirkylad said:

But no other kill can be standing still but actually be behind you because they're phasing. I've had issues with spirit in the past but I'm over it tbh, I just think it's silly that one of her best mind games is standing still because the survivor has no idea if she's phasing or not.
No other killer gives 0 visual feedback about what they're doing with their power either though.

because it takes away the opportunity to actually play the game from the opposite side
It's only bannable if you force people to partake in it.

I don't hate Shelter Woods. It's design is boring but at least it isn's bad gameplay wise, unlike it's sibling. Yes, I am talking about you Suffocation Pit.
Not bad gameplay wise? The map hardly has any resources for survivor.

Thenthey should buff killer. Give the 8.0 ms or sum
I refuse to believe that this isn't bait
-
You fail to mention that the three perks you selected also have additional effects, it's on par with saying that NOED needs to be brought more in line with Iron Maiden seeing as they both inflict survivors with the exposed status effect.
-
To be brutally honest, I doubt we'll see him ever. Nemesis is arguably just a better version of Mr X, being more lethal with his attacks (even having the capability to perform ranged attacks and infect people with hi tentacle) and being much more resilient in comparison to Mr X.
In the original RE2 it only took a few handgun bullets to stop him chasing you for a significant amount of time, he was only really made into some sort of a threat in RE2's remake. Nemesis on the other hand was practically a bullet sponge, you couldn't really fight him, your only viable option was to run.
-
I think the difference in quality probably comes down to the fact that the RE models were used in games that only came out within the past 3 years whereas Cheryl's original model is almost 20 years old. Dbd has a clear artistic style and remodelling certain characters to better fit that style isn't necessarily a bad thing.
The only gripes I personally have with Cheryl are the length of her neck and the colour of her hair, why is it bright yellow? Blonde ≠ yellow.

well at tier 1 you have more leeway on when u want to use it
Not really, you get to decide the exact moment you use it at all tiers, tier 3 simply lasts longer if the killer doesn't decide to kick the gen the second he gets over to it.
-
That's where Counterforce comes into play

its another perk that's better at tier 1...
How? The trap deactivates as soon as it is kicked. At tier 1, if the killer knows you've trapped it, they don't have to wait as long for the trap to deactivate itself.

Never played survivor and went " wow Shadowborn is carrying this killer" the only time i even see the perk is on huntress but you probably think survivors not having to waste a perk slot to be on comms is fine
Don't see how either of those things are correlated in any way but whatever. However seeing as how there is a perk dedicated entirely to increasing a killer's FoV, I'd say that it's clear that the devs don't intend on adding an FoV slider.
I don't understand why you're making accusations about me just because I pointed out that there are certain killers that would be made objectively easier to play by adding this feature.

Ormond has million pallets, how it is good? It was so bad before but now it is just bad. So i have to be happy because it is not so bad anymore, just bad?
Half of those "million" pallets are on absolutely tiny loops though.
-
Pretty sure the devs addressed it and said that they weren't planning on changing it. Pretty weird if you ask me.
-
Really the only thing you can do is put obstacles between him and yourself, it's pretty boring but there really isn't much else you can do.
-
Probably better to have more consistency in the game, having to remember loads of varying stats for each killer is difficult even for experienced players.
-
I remember someone on these forums saying that Azarov's Resting Place was a survivor sided map. Some people who play these games really don't understand how to play effectively on certain maps.
-
How the hell are 4 gens getting done in 2 minutes? Are you even looking for survivors?
-
People always forget that an increased FoV is a HUGE advantage for stalking killers

No it is for sure an issue, i've had 3 remaining crowd the hatch so my only option is to hit one and even still if i try to grab it just slices and and i have to wipe my blade cuz there's no interrupt
Then that's an issue with KEYS not the hatch. The current hatch mechanics are the best iteration we have ever had.
-
Whoever gets to hatch first, gets hatch, it really isn't that big of an issue. You got 3 kills, one survivor escaping isn't a big deal.
-
How do you mean? He isn't even on live servers yet.

Why are people so toxic towards me? I just want to have equality with a hetero flag or just stop putting real life society problems into this game.
I'm "toxic" towards you because you're quite clearly an ignorant person who refuses to recognise why the LGBT pride flag exists, it represents generations of hardships and discrimination that the LGBT+ community have faced for decades. Just because people are more open about their sexuality and gender identity nowadays and refuse to be belittled and discriminated against by heterosexual people does not mean that the LGBT+ community does not want support or union with one another.
This charm is a way of expressing support, and therefore helps people weed out the homophobes from the community. If you are actually so ignorant as to want a heterosexual flag, I hope your time on these forums are short, because most of us don't want you here.

yes, video games and real life are 2 different kind of things. A video game should stay a video game without putting our latest political issues into it.
This game has a HUGE LGBT+ following, the devs recognising this means a lot to the community, people like you spoiling it is ######### infuriating.
-
I really don't think that PGTW needs a buff, it's nerf didn't really do all that much, just changed the perk into a "take it or leave it" sort of thing. It's previous duration of 1 minute did allow some killers to snowball pretty hard, downing another survivor, using the perk, and the having it again.
-
I personally use BBQ, Corrupt, Pop, and Enduring and it seems to work pretty well, 2 perks to help with gen defence and 2 perks to help starting and finishing chases.

But what would be the point of inflicting torment if you're attack never hit's a survivor.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/253293/pyramid-head-needs-some-buffs
These are the buffs he actually need's, That would make him feel less of a chore and you could possibly enjoy playing as Pyramid Head, I've heard tons of streamers disclaiming how long it takes to use his ability and survivors can literally run around do a spin and still vault a pallet or window before you can activate Rites of Judgment, it's really embarrassing and unfun.
If you aren't hitting you POTD attacks, that's on you, not the game. That's similar to someone saying "I can't hit hatchets as huntress so she needs buffed" when Huntress is already a strong killer.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
I think you've got that backwards.
As survivor, you will get stuck on and slide off the hay bail. As killer I have never had this issue.

Actually Midwich does as well, the exit with the large fan in the wall is on the East side of the building.

Cheryl needs some chapstick

Trust me, unless you're playing SWF most of the time, you'll be back eventually.

I highly doubt they wouldn't give us some, Claire and Chris are very popular characters, leaving them out would be a missed opportunity.

and survivors have the ability to negate that completely
Yes, at the cost of most likely giving the killer a free hit.
Pyramid Head's trenches work in 2 ways
- Allowing him to bypass hooks
- Zoning survivors
Both of these can be used to great effect, this doesn't change the fact that he doesn't need little helpers walking around and injuring people when he has great potential in chase.

Sorry didn't mention the didn't need to attack just serve as background attractions, but they could help body block windows and vaults are set as jump scares
That would be a pretty cool idea, seeing more enemies from SH2 would be awesome
