One of my pig builds is: BBQ, Surveillance, PGtW, NOED. Don't like NOED? No problem! Drop in I'm All Ears.
Thank you! I try to end game before gens pop so I'm gonna go with I'm All Ears version of this build.
-
I see no reason killer getting speed boost after gens are done. If you want speed boost, run NOED and you might get speed boost + instadown at end game.

Atleast I’m not the only one who enjoys the hotfix instead of whining about it lol
I enjoy the hotfixes and I'm sure many others enjoy too! People will be more vocal about negative things than positive. I know it because I also tend to be more vocal when something is bugging me...

I like to play Pig, a lot. I have a few builds for you. But it depends on how you want to play her. Build 1 is more sneak, Build 2 is more aggressive, Build 3 is for controlling gens more
1.) Monitor and Abuse (for a smaller TR), Whispers (To know when to crouch), Nurse's Calling (To give info when crouched), Sloppy Butcher (to go with nurse's but you can change it for something else.)
2.) Save The Best For Last (helps during chases), Ruin, Surveillance, Enduring
3.) Surge, BBQ, Pop Goes The Weasel, and whatever perk you want.
Thanks! Nice to have options for different kind of playstyles. It depends on my mood how I want to play. Sometimes I feel like going on rampage with infectious, sometimes I feel to set up more with Trapper or Hag. Sneak build looks so fun and only need one teachable for it so I'm gonna work on Docs teachables first.

I think you're onto something. I'm a killer main, so I've limited playtime in survivor every day. However, PC central/southern EU, I very often see insta tunnels off the unhook, even when performed safely. And then insta picking up and getting DS'd, even multiple times. And not necessarily strategically.
I don't know what the actual server location is but I'm Nordic EU PC player. I don't play that much survivor so I could just actually be incredibly lucky with killers. Maybe it's time to devote one evening to survivor only and keep a log and see what happens.
-
Never used DS and very rarely I've been tunneled. I guess it depends on platform, time of day and region how often tunneling happens.
-
NOED is fine.
-
This has been suggested before and it shouldn't be base kit. Change small game to have totem counter is reasonable imo.

Goodluck with it.
I'm thinking about getting Ghostface to P3 50 (even though I never play him) which will probably take a while, but the cakes are helping.
Thanks! Yeah prestiging takes a while but Billy is my main so I want to get him bloody.

Decided I'd add a bit on to tell you how much hours I have put into this game, about 680. That's how long it took me to get all the perks.
That is not too bad. Just bought last 5 DLCs and I'm going to unlock all killer teachables and start working on prestige Billy as well. It's going to take a while but event cakes helps with that a lot.

Gotta love these killer mains. Killers who suck so bad that they have to complain about gen speed. And when they don't get their way, they throw "camping" and "tunneling" into the mix.
Bud, the difference is that camping and tunneling are visible to everyone. You can see a killer camping. You can see a killer avoid other targets to tunnel another. With imaginary gen rush, people are literally doing what the tutorial tells them to do! Get over it already.
No, you see, it is the objective for killer so those things don't exist. Get over it already.

Why would you have your profile private?? What do you have to hide?? I mean, if you work for the NASA and you have very important Secret informations, be my guest, but otherwise??? XD I mean, are you jealous of your achievements? i don't know, your profile is meant to show everyone who you are and what you do/did, why hiding? You clearly don't have a good reason, but for being stupid
I like privacy. I don't see any reason why anyone outside my friends would have to see what games I have, how many hours I've played, how many friends I have and who they are.

Thats why then. Why were they disabled?
Bug or hacks that make people receive multiple DC bans for no reason. Tru3 got 72 hour ban instantly on stream and people said it was because of hacks.

Another thing about last second switching. I believe if you do it you can DC without penalty.
DC penalties aren't active for the moment.
-
It does work for me. I don't do last second switch though. I saw it in some thread that last second switch can bug the offerings.
-
There is no DC penalty at the moment and many people, including me, hate playing against Legion. So most likely they just DC'd.

I simply just don't believe I should have to run an item or perk to effectively do an objective while doing solo play, since SWF have all of that information due to comms. It bridges the gap between SWF and solo play as well.
Of course agreeing to disagree, it's up to the devs in the end.
Meh, most of them aren't 4-man groups so giving base kit counter is kinda nuts. But we can agree to disagree.
-
@chase131119 said:
I believe they need to add a baseline totem number counter that every survivor gets, no perk needed. You shouldn't need a perk to effectively know how much of a secondary OBJECTIVE you have to do left (this is solo queue FYI).
That, and if NOED stays the way it is I believe that totems shouldn't be hidden any more than they already are (minus the really stupid spots like the disturbed ward totems literally next to a tree).
You can't tell me "do bones" on maps like lerys or hawkins.
Well we can tell you do bones when you run a perk or map that helps with them. And adding totem counter as base kit isn't needed, just add it to small game. You get help clearing bones and you can see how many are left.

Love when crybaby Killers throw a hissy fit "Waaahhh, I'm being Gen rushed... WAAAHHH" But yet that's literally THE Survivors objective 😂 Grow up and get good, simple as that. When all 4 of us Survivors are melted down by a good Killer I or we don't cry screaming "Kill rush, Kill rush!!! You're not supposed to kill us that fast!!" This game is literally a cry fest. Fist time back on the forums in months and all i see is whiny entitled Killers threads.
Survivors throw a hissy fit daily about tunneling, camping and NOED so you really didn't look at the threads.
-
It's good perk if you get lucky with totem spawn. I've had so many games where ruin is gone in 30 seconds that it isn't even funny anymore. Might try to experiment with multiple hex builds at some point but for now I'll use Corrupt and pop or just pop if I'm playing high mobility killer.

@Splinterverse said:

No. You are incorrect.
By "surviving", I'm assuming you mean escaping.
You can't escape without doing gens.
You can escape without touching a totem, a chest, or entering a chase.
There's no such thing as gen rush. It's called doing the objective. It's a must. This game could be re-titled generator repair simulator because we have to do gens every match and for a large portion of it.
There's no such thing as tunneling or camping. It's called doing the objective.

Great perk. I run it on Billy, Oni and Plague almost 100% of the time.

I have never seen why nurses is praised as a god tier perk. It is very situational and easily counterable. I think plague belongs in S tier instead of her, but that's just me.
I would also put Plague higher. She has Corrupt and Infectious.

Depends what kind of SWF it is, so kinda hard to actually rate them. Swats are untouchable, good swf is hard but manageable most of the time, others are easy.

No No no friend. I didn't mean terrible as bad. I meant terrible as they're all sociopaths incapable of human emotion and empathy.
Spot on.

Billy - chainsaw and lightning fast speed around the map.
Jake - needed calm spirit and just stuck with him. I do like biker cosmetics though.

I don't like the idea of a totem counter as base kit. @Orion suggested in another thread that Small Game could come with counter and I liked that idea.

Looks good.

@PureHostility said:
Both sides can abuse high ping. Dedicated servers didnt help at all, there is just another middle man who handles stuff that you cant see how laggy the game actually is.
Killers hits will have priority, thus you can be hit from 25 meters away by an m1. Also a survivor on whose screen your trap isnt set yet can easily run through, even though it is set on your screen.
Peer to peer was much better to avoid bullcrap on both sides, the issue was laggy killers being hosta (i.e. Any russian player hosting a game as a killer in European zone). But even then, if I saw 200 ping killer I knre how to handle stuff, now I get a server with 60 ping but the killer has 200 ping, in total there is 260 ping in play, because basically... NOTHING is handle serverside that actually matters the most for us.
Yeah I've noticed that high ping killers can hit from pretty far away.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
The Survivor Ping should not matter when setting Traps as Trapper. The Server could have had some problems (or maybe got DDOSed), but if a Survivor with bad Ping is playing, you should not have any problems with setting Traps.
Ok, weird. I doubt server was DDOSed because 3 other survivors could do gens just fine.

@FGC_HELP said:
Yes, coming from someone who has horrible internet during storms I know that lag can be abused.
Well the survivor didn't seem to enjoy it because he DC'd after few minutes.

The thing is, that this is in my book a fair game - the team is just better / more experienced. When a bubba is facecamping a random survivor, it has nothing to do with skill. I dont mind getting camped, but i can see why so many survivors hate it so much.
I also really dont think you can compare loosing vs a better player with loosing vs a camper.
Yeah it is really fair putting killer with 250 hours against team where they have 2k hours each.

How is camping even comparable to an optimal team?
Do you realize one is literally just standing by the hook while the other is actually playing the game? lol
Me holding W is playing the game? Hardly. And I could also use the ever so popular "I'm not having fun" argument here.

Shouln't a killer who is not top 1% loose against a top 1% team?
Yes, that is exactly what I meant. When I'm against swats, it really isn't playing the game when I'm just running around the map.

So basically because I have an opinion about this, you feel the need to attack someone for it? Why? I'm not denying SWF isn't fun to go against at times, but what do you lost against them? You get points regardless. What does a facecamped survivor get? Basically next to nothing.
I'm sorry. My matches have been quite horrible today and I lost my temper and took it out on you.
The thing is with camping, it would drastically reduce campers if people would just start taking one for the team and stop empowering campers. Person on the hook not suiciding, team not going for saves and just popping gens and getting a 3-man escape.
-
@Mikeasaurus said:

Who's on a high horse here? And when did I mention SWF? Are you just going to make the assumption every single team is SWF? Should I start assuming every single killer is just going to facecamp? No, because not everyone is like that. The fact is, facecamping is not fun for a survivor who get's the recieving end of it.
And the fact is SWF is not fun for the killer. I deal with that BS, you can deal with camping. It is that fkin simple.
-
@Mikeasaurus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1396988#Comment_1396988
Exactly my point. Camp all you like as killer, but in the end, it just ruins the experience for the hooked survivor. They get to sit for 2 minutes watching as nobody is able to help. It's not fun waiting for up to 10 minutes in a lobby to be sent right back there because a killer decided they wanted to spend some quality time with you. Sure, a Killer will lose emblem points because of said camping, but what killer really cares these days? There just needs to be some kind of a solution found so that anyone facecamped to death can at least gain something from the match.
And SWFs bullying killers ruins the experience for the killer. Get off your high horse and just fkin deal with it.
-
@CyanideBlaze said:

There is a difference between losing and being forced to do nothing all game after waiting for that match.
Playing against swat team is pretty much doing nothing all game IF killer is like me and aren't top 1%.

I lost today to a 4man SWF swat team and I depipped. I want SWF to be bannable offense.

Just because someone decided to look for an error doesn't make them superior. It just means that person who spelt something wrong spelt it wrong. It does not make them stupid.
Yeah, ignore those idiots. And feel free to ignore my first paragraph too!
