If that's true I wish the icon was iridescent instead of silver

At this point I would legitimately be SHOCKED if the perk wasn't completely reworked with a different ability
Maybe. We'll see

Notice how every gen regression perk is on there apart from 1
Call of Brine
Potential Call of Brine meta incoming?
Yea I noticed that too. Maybe they're going to have gens take longer to repair?
-
One change I was thinking is another survivor has to take a protection hit before dead hard activates. What do you guys think?

@dspaceman20 said:
Is it just me or am I skeptical it will really solve a lot? A lot of people overreact on the forum.
I don't think I'm overreacting. I really do believe that if it gets changed or nerfed it will help killers. Mainly M1 killers end chases in a reasonable time and survivors will actually have to outsmart the killer when it comes to looping.
-
@ColonGlock said:
I would suggest trying Unrelenting for a few matches. You will get value from it. It won't stop the distance use but you can get them before they can get to another safe tile or window during a chase many times.
I could but doing a killer build with that and exhaustion perks like blood echo just to counter 1 perk is ridiculous

Yes, we're planning to share what was testing afterwards. If we find anything interesting, we're hoping to share some stats on the tests as well.
Awesome I will say my killer matches have been more fun. 2k to 3k averaging with some matches were everyone escapes.
-
The maps are a major factor to me. If I'm The Trapper and I get sent to Red Forest I know I'm screwed.
-
The way the MMR system is working for me as killer right now is I'll get like 3 to 4 matches with sweaty survivors with meta perks and 1 to 2 matches with potatoes
There's no in between
-
Pretty sure it's Pennywise
-
Favorite part - the game
Least favorite part - the playerbase
-
I don't know about you guys but I actually play worse with swfs because we tend to goof off and it usually gets us killed
-
Fastest hit was with Legion. Hit all 4 survivors within 15 seconds since they used an offering to spawn together and were relatively close to me.
-
You got destroyed in 25 matches? That seems like a stretch to be honest. I usually have 1 in 4 good games when I play killer.
-
@supersonic853 said:
Sorry to ride the trend but like other people now that it is becoming popular i'm seeing it more and more. 2 games in a row against pig was afk kills. Me and one other survivor couldn't get the trap off because we were "unlucky" so i just took the L on it. Like people ride tombstone for being bad but at least michael needs to do something for it. Its minimal but it's something. This one i can get a 4k by doing literally absolutely nothing. Maybe rework the red addon into something more interesting or put contigencies on it? Idrk how you'd fix this problem.
Why did you guys do gens with a trap on?

It goes fine, actually, I do not mind him too much on console. I am not the best Blight in the world, but I think there are worse killers on console.
He ranks in the middle for sure on console when it comes to killers

@Yankus said:
The majority of people who want the other side nerfed have never played the other side.
Very true

@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
"to play The Blight on console" - I don't think this is good defense lol.
Anyway - Blight base kit is fine, fair, balanced and strong killer.
However some few evil add-ons should get nerfed.
I think it's because survivors are afraid of a killer catching with them. Even with Dead Hard.

Killers are so desperate to get a 4k like it's a DBD tournament every match
No. Killers are desperate to have a fun match.
-
Survivors are so desperate to get a 4 man escape like it's a DBD tournament every match
-
Recently I've seen Boil Over used mainly by bully squads who just want to make the killer's match a living hell. They don't even care about working on gens. They will purposefully go to the second floor of any building on the map and stay there.
Sometimes the only option is to bleed them out.
-
Tunneling and camping is an effective strategy in most matches. I like chases and snowballing. Honestly these survivors just wasted a perk slot because I didn't tunnel at all.

He doesn't have any slowdown and relies on hex that doesn't do anything early game. It's super RNG build.
Problem with Undying is that survivors are told it's active when they get near dull totem, so they will know there are two totems to find.
That's the thing I didn't run any slowdown perks and these swfs want to run all meta second chance perks. I was lucky to get 2 kills.
-
4 Decisive Strikes is overkill if you ask me

Definitely not fine, freddy is more or less M1 killer and he don't have any innate slowdown, quick chase ability or map wide pressure.
while chasing first survivor for 40 seconds or so (which is pretty much mandatory btw thanks to pursuer) devour hope gonna be cleansed and at least a gen gonna pop, after that you are pretty much no perk m1 killer which only has dream palettes as his power... I can't believe he got 2k with it, that's unbelievable performance for such build I think.
Thanks man. All these survivor mains in the forums commenting like they have any idea what it's like to play killer.
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Let people run what they want. You can always spice up your build too if you think their meta is too much
It's just the same builds over and over with survivors. I bring stuff like Devour Hope instead of Ruin and don't run any gen slowdown perks. They act like this is some dbd tournament.

The DC penalty is not a sentient being. It can only see that you DC'd. Not why or how.
So next time just play with the hacker like everything is all good
-
@EvilJoshy said:
You got a dc penalty because you DC'ed. The game can't distinguish if it was genuine or salty. All it can see is you quit a match.
So I'm I supposed to finish the match and risk getting banned because there's a hacker in the lobby?
-
I think he means Matthew played killer the Hag I think against a Korean swf and got beamed by flashlights constantly. There's a video of it somewhere on YouTube.

The Twins for me took a minute to get used to that playstyle but once I did man, they are a force to be reckoned with!
My friend just started playing the game and his most hated killer is the Twins.
Not sure if that really answers your question but thats my perspective.
What build(s) you using? I'm currently using:
A Nurse's Calling/BBQ/Oppression/Brutal Strength
Awesome man. This is the build I'm using.
Corrupt Intervention / Hex:Ruin / Discordance / Deadlock
It's pretty nasty

NOED and Dead Hard
Two perks that lazy/annoying to go up against

If some people are unironically calling Myers "cheap", then current DBD is way worse than I thought it was.
DBD is nowhere near the scariest it was in the earliest days. There were map offerings to make the map darker which was awesome.
-
Behavior will do the bare minimum unless they get competition
-
You get no rank reset. You get SBMM.
-
I'm looking forward to the new Pig addons the most
-
I play both sides but noticed it's easier to get higher mmr with killer. With sweaty survivors at high mmr it can become a nightmare for killer which will put players off.

If you don't mind me asking how was he on release? I started playing when Ghostface came out.

Legion got plenty of feedback and still shipped.
Trickster also got plenty of feedback but was still awful on release.
Twins got plenty of feedback and I don't even know if their bugs were fixed on release.
Legion still sucks imo

I don't agree totems are objectives, they are perks.
If survivors can bless infinite totems now since it's an extra objective for the killer. You are wrong.

Nothing its just a taunt, just like hitting survivors on hook
I may be unlucky but it's been literally every game I've played as killer. I'm a pig main and will do things like trying to get them to boop the snoot. They just teabag in front of my face and leave. Just leaves me feeling sour after the match.
-
That code was a nightmare to type in on console. Glad they rereleased it this year and made it easier.
-
If I get gen rushed playing killer it doesn't really bother me. Here's the stuff that bothers me during a trail that survivors do that is solely to irritate the killer and has no gameplay advantage
1. Teabagging at the exit gates after they're opened
2. Teabagging after throwing a pallet
3. Teabagging after vaulting a window
4. Flashlight clicks during a chase
5. The instant flood of notifications after a match of toxic messages spam.

When you use the new Video Tape addon

I want it to be like the saw movies lol. Never know when Amanda might show up.
