Sorry to disappoint you but killrates have 0 to do with killer strength
-
Better then it used to be but still pretty bad.
-
If you sweat nurse you're a bigger problem then the dcers. You bought the game and have every right to do it but don't get mad when people don't want to play against you.

Why keep condemn as a mechanic at all then if it is not supposed to be used?
The mechanic itself can probably be implemented in a way that doesnt reward you for constantly slugging and teleporting. If they cant figure out a way to do that, then honestly I hope they do just get rid of it.
-
Killrates mean nothing and never have. People kill themselves so often for such a variety of reasons, not too mention map rng plays a heavy role in how hard the match is gonna be for either side plus popularity and ease of use are also factors in killrates, all of those factors tend to sway killrates far more then how strong a killer is or how balanced the game is as a whole

Auto dh is pretty easy to detect just do a stupid swing and it will automatically use there auto dh
True but that's only if I notice they landed a few weird dh in the middle of nowhere first or if I got the chance to bait it out. So its easy when they make it obvious

No. But don’t worry DC penalty’s are turned off so if you don’t want to deal with them you can leave with no penalty.
Btw changes are coming to eliminate cheating. I haven’t run into any
I've run into a few and also im pretty skeptical about their attempts to curb cheating. Afterall I doubt they werent trying before and where still losing to cheaters. Im also sure that I had a couple that I didnt notice since some cheaters are just doing small cheats like auto dead hard.

He's around mid, high or low idk but he's no where near top tier. Killrates are just useless and always have been.

So you just want ez mode sadakos so you can bully her and escape easily with no hooks? Lol
Its the ONLY thing keeping her from being worthless, it might be boring to you can say the same against a slugging high mmr nurse
No I want her to get buffed and for her condemn build to be removed. I dont know why people thinking a super dumb boring build is healthy for the game. Her killrates being so high is probably more indicative that her condemn build makes people just want to quit

Its her only strong build tho, can you really blame them?
Her only strong build makes her one of the most boring and annoying experiences in the game so yes I can

What do Sony or Microsoft have to do with Bhvr's design? Are they supposed to hop on in and make him viable?
What are you talking about? Aim assist is what I was talking about which is something that is already in the game and could be increased if the game detects a controller being used. Many fps games on console do it already. Also it's something bhvr would do on their end so idk why you brought Sony and Microsoft up.
-
Trust me brother as absolutely hilarious as in game voice would be, it would not help much.
-
In just the last day I played with someone who had over 4k hours and someone with like 360. People play sweatier because of mmr and it's for zero reason honestly.

Blaming BHVR for controller's imperfection and lack of precision. Send your criticism to Sony or Microsoft
I mean sure, however there are many ways to make it more bearable on controller. Not like aim assist isn't already in the game anyways.
-
A lot of people were having technical issues that would crash the game or become unplayable, and it was on bhvr's end hence the map chooser has come back.
-
By your logic there's no reason to ever make a balance change ever again. It's defeatist and also just not true. Sure there will likely always be someone complaining about something but the size, seriousness, and validity of their complaints and arguments will lose merit evrytime bhvr fixes something that's unbalanced, broken, or just unfun.

Okay, what buffs will killers get in this scenario? It was rivers of tears over .2 second faster weapon cooldown and pallet breaking
It would depend on how well everything responds to solo coming closer to swf. That's why I said "and if you need to". I'm killer main but let's be real most of us win most of our games and there's a reason for that. When was the last time killrates actually went into the below 50% range? Don't get me wrong I'm really dreading the unbreakable changes cause I don't think it's the correct way to buff survivors.
I also have issues with the mori system too though.

I would love to see them do it. Especially how long the transition time between soloQ buffing and killer balancing would be and how good the game would survive what would (from previous experiences) be probably half up to a year or more.
The game has survived worse
-
Yeah I had a gen on dead Dog do that to me but it would just be muffled while I was working on it.
-
I get that people are tired of dead hard since as it is right now it's strength in a skilled players hand can be almost as strong or even stronger in a few scenarios but it takes a significantly larger amount of skill to actually use and its way easier to bait out now.
The perk should still be good, it feels like people just want it six feet under and I don't think they'll ever do that.
-
I play survivor for challenges and swing with friends other then that I play killer. Solo queue is mostly just boring and frustrating, watching other people be dumb can be entertaining too but I usually get a better view from killer anyways.
-
Fairly often but I almost always say it unless they're all non-pc and since I can't tell if they'll see it or not I just don't bother. I find the more I say it the more I get it back.
-
Nems just not a well designed killer to begin with. He looks cool and the zombie are a cool idea but terribly implemented and his tentacle is just boring
-
I'd be fine with it honestly. However I'm not a fan of flashbags sometimes not making noise when they're dropped
-
Kinda weak but really not fun to go against I don't really like playing him either though.

I wouldn't say worse than Freddy IMO, especially since her condemn build actually exists while Freddy has practically no addons
Yeah but Freddy at least has a power in chase, not a good one but something that does actually help end chases or at least get through pallets faster. Unless you do pallet Freddy which is definitely weaker but then you have to consider BK Myers so I dont really count the meme builds.
-
Because bhvr are held back by creativity and technical limitations. Not sure which is the bigger problem.
-
I usually understand why they did it. Teammates being potatoes are the biggest reasons however when I was doing the nurse rift challenges the amount of people who killed themselves first down skyrocketed. I get that too though honestly.
-
1 post about nerfing a killer. Either it's bait or someone just got really mad at a Ghostie tbagging him.
-
She's probably the weakest killer in the game outside of her condemn build. However if you use her condemn build more then once to try it out then I don't like you.

Oh, I 100% agree. Perks aren't the answer either. Perks (baskit or not) should be to enhance play, and not to deal with balancing issues.
However a lot of things that should have been made base kit or solutions to many problems were made into perks like kindred for instance. I'd still rather they made kindred base kit then then unbreakable.

I would love to see more variants for Dead Dawg Saloon, Midwich and Lerys.
Rework 2 out of 3 McMillain-Maps, Eyrie of Crow 😑 and The Game.
Can we just toss eyrie in the trash honestly, that and garden both of those maps have the jankiest hitboxes in the game.

It wasn't that long ago. I think Mandy said it under one post about hugtech before that they said nothing and we only had that one ex dev that designed blight that said he did it that way intentionally but nothing official.
And since we all know dbd has some weird spaghetti code it's no wonder it takes time to fix that otherwise his while collision could break or idk clows bottles stop working suddenly that code is really strange
Well ngl not very reassuring. But also that's no excuse for not nerfing his addons. I like blight a lot he's in my top 3 killers but 3 or 4 of his addons are insanely oppressive. I get the techs will take awhile to fix(if they ever do that is) but his addons should've been nerfed ages ago.

And survivors aren't entitled to escape even if their teammate dc'd.

Personally, I really don't like the idea of the devs just slapping on baskit perks to try and balance things out. I really want to see them steer away from this.
In favor of what though? Cause I really dislike them making solutions to long standing problems a perk as well.
-
@Starrseed said:
Well actually yes. Atleast when it comes to hugtech they said it is an unwanted exploit and they are looking into it. I think it just needs a lot of time to fix without breaking everything else when it comes to his collision
How long ago did they say that?
-
Easily the worst overall realm. They need to just remove its variants have 1 maybe 2 instead and make some massive changes.
-
Obligatory "this games history is a series of unfortunate events" joke

@Lastchild said:
I don't see the problem reported here.
If you stuck the survivor, he is hit.
If another survivor comes for Body block, you hit them first.
You don't have to hit from a distance if you need to get close.
Problem solved
The problem with auto aim is more then just with bodyblocking I've had many, many times where I would've hit a survivor rounding a corner but then auto aim drags the hit into the wall.

1-2. Just crouch walking isn't a good way of countering her. The most optimal way of countering the Hag is to approach her traps, trigger them from the edge of their radius, outside her hit range, and quickly run away before to make harder for her to get a hit. If you keep successfully doing that, she will fail to build her web and won't get many hits from triggered traps, and without a web, downing survivors can be quite hard. Is it easier said than done? Sure, but countering a killer's power is not supposed to be easy anyway. The Hag too has to be really precise in other to counter skilled survivors.
3. Begginer and more average Hags might play quite similarly, but no, not all Hags play the same. Skilled Hags know there is more to her power than just placing simple traps and then camp. The Hag CAN be played offensively. She can put traps where she expects survivors to run, and also use chases to push survivors towards traps. With the right build, she is also great for sneaking up on survivors, as she is small and doesn't have a very big TR. There are also multiple ways you can use your traps: instead of just teleporting and hitting, a experienced Hag knows how to bodyblock doors, spin survivors away from loops, and pull them to get stuck in corners.
I know how to counter her power it's just not fun. Sure if you know everywhere she put traps down then you can trigger her traps but in chase that's near impossible and trying to do so will more often then not just get you hit anyways. Also no I've watched literally some of the best hags in the world play mostly the same, better decision making and planning but the overall gameplay loop is roughly the same. Setup an area in the early game and play almost exclusively in that area and proxy camp your ass off.

How would it only be fair for survivors sir?
To clarify, it'd only be fair if survivors also weren't able to change items or perks once in the lobby. I'd also note that I don't think either are good ideas.
-
People land it all the time. The perk is fine as it is and is still pretty strong. You have to use some amount of prediction sure but being able to reaction dodge was the problem with old DH to begin with.

To my mind it shouldn't be a thing the whole game. Because in endgame the game is basically over. Sure you can get some points for escaping but basically you can't play the game for 10 minutes.
If you're just camping then you aren't playing the game either.
Edit: after rereading I'm not sure what you mean?
-
If they're doing gens then their winning you the game more often then not. Plus a smart killer will avoid the strongest survivor on the team so this would just penalize them for doing well. If you apply this to survivors that aren't doing gens, healing teammates, unhooking teammates, getting chased and are exclusively hiding then sure I'm all for it.
-
Sure as long as its re-enabled the second they're unhooked and this feature is disabled in endgame.

I've never understood why most people hate going against Hag. You trip traps. They don't even injure you guaranteed like Trapper's.
1. Her traps scare the ######### out of me or give me almost zero chance to counterplay. She just has the same problem as trapper but hag is stronger.
2. Her counterplay is just crouch walk around or hope she hadn't setup traps there.
3. People all play Her the same they stick to one area and never chase outside it and God help you if you get hooked there. She doesn't chase she just waits for you to hit a trap you didn't see and get a free hit.
Does she have counterplay? Yes, it's just not fun to play against.
Also trappers traps are significantly easier to see and are much harder to for the trapper to reposition and set.
-
Bhvr already struggles to balance killers as it is add balancing each individual survivor would be an absolute nightmare.
