  • it would completely depend on his power, I dont really hold any particular attachment to horror genres so as long as his power is fun then I'll pick him up

    NO

i think demo still holds that crown

could you explain how demo is the worst killer? cause as far as I can see hes very middle of the road from a balance pov. I feel like thats the general community perception of his "rank" goes.

I mean only the gameplay, his looks, attacks and blades are awesome.

in terms of effectiveness yeah I'd say its pretty undeniable that hes the worst killer in the game right now

  • multiple things, remove the random large houeses that just act as giant loops, obviously remove that great walls of Haddonfield, the house of pain that can still spawn the infinites need to go as well as the multiple god windows that can still spawn for no damn reason. Honestly if it was up to me I'd nuke the map but with it being a licensed map I have little hope that it will get any substantial changes like it needs.

  • hopeful that they just leave it as is

If you'd like to get people's honest opinion, writing a relatively slanted description of the subject matter immediately above the poll is not constructive :)

He was not nerfed in literally every aspect. His base kit is very similar to before. The overheat mechanic is rarely a factor unless you're running engravings; as you said yourself, it's not that harsh. The devs stated they wanted to deal with his problematic add-ons without affecting his balance much, and I feel they achieved that. His add-ons we probably even overnerfed on the whole but his base kit is still strong enough that it's not a concern for balance.

I've never particularly enjoyed playing as or against Hillbilly and these changes did little to change that. I do think he's well balanced, though.

As of late 2020, which was after his nerf, Hillbilly's kill rate was 55% (1% below average) at all ranks and 70% (2% above average) at red rank. Like all killers, he does not fall off at red rank.

as someone who used to one trick billy and ran him almost exclusively addonless his base kit was absolutely hit pretty hard I cant even play him anymore, i'll admit partially because im vindictive about them changing his base kit to begin with when literally no one wanted it to touched only his few very problematic addons, but the fact that he's legit less fun to play now is in my opinion completely undeniable, and the fact that billy's pick rates has tanked is plenty evidence of that

  • Survs spawning completely separated isnt a guaranteed loss but its basically free 2-3 gens making the early game basically an instant loss unless your nurse or spirit or maybe blight and billy. If your someone like myers or legion youre gonna have a rough game.

  • Has no map pressure outside of just slugging which any killer can do, don't get me wrong his tier 3 can be snowball pretty well but i'd argue his snowball isnt even that good compared to like half the roster. His early game is probably the worst in the entire game and its not even that close. He also has a complete lack of anti looping powers even in tier 3 his extra vault speed really doesn't help that much. All those things just add up to make a remarkably meh killer in desperate need of a rework.

  • only on killers I play a lot since I hate having to click through the extra menu when going through bloodwebs

  • I hate the twins both to play as and against but they are objectively more efficient as a killer.

  • If a survivor just has to escape then the killer version should only require a 4k, and sure you can just use a mori but lets be honest moris are nothing compared to what they used to be and are not nearly as much of a crutch as they used to be, plus survivors can keys escape to get theirs so i'd say its fair

  • i've seen like 3 twins since they were released

  • whoever votes trickster in his current state is trolling

I was thinking more like if you couldn't find it for a set duration, the aura of totem will be revealed to the survivors. That way it lasts more than how much it does now but at the same time it isn't too oppressive if the totem spot is insanely good. Duration is again based on balance but something more than 60s.

maybe make it so that the the range at which it can be seen slowly grows with time like for the first 15 seconds its normal then starts to grow at like .5 to 1 meter a second though since they've never done something like that I doubt they'd ever do something like that

  • It doesnt really matter as I know that they plan to take it out so i dont plan to learn how to do it to begin with

My preferred solution would be to keep the tiers, but give the first tier for free. Meaning, if you have the teachable, then all of your characters immediately have tier one of that perk without you needing to grind for it. That way, you'd still have a reason to level up the perks in the blood web, but you'd also be able to play around with different builds right away.

    i'd accept either change

  • indoor areas in every map that has them are always the most annoying parts of that map, indoor maps are awful imo, haddonfield has a ton of really annoying houses, ormonds main building is also annoying, dead dawg's main building is very annoying as well though it also has invisa bushes too. Basically indoor maps are my bane and even if they arent really all that survivor sided I still tend to dread them.

Why has it been so long, and they have not even touched keys but have completely took moris out of the game? Both are game changing, both are annoying and both are not healthy for the game. Yet keys are still enabled, and moris "rework" is out, but its been a long while and nothing has happened to keys.

Why have they not just disabled both the offerings, or just outright scrapped them, few would care if they totally removed them I would wager.

Really annoying being in a game, and having the survivors use a key to escape when you are starting to gain leverage in the match, only for you to realize that they still have not been touched and the reason you don't see moris anymore is because they basically have been nerfed so hard that you could say they are only good for challenges.

it took them 3 years to just change a number on how many hooks mori's take to be usable, they're giving keys a full rework so itll take them at least until next chapter, if I were to guess. I'd be shocked if it came with the mid chapter. Im just annoyed that before it got its reworked they decided to add key on easy mode with the hatch offerings.

  • When they reworked it during the mid chapter(I think) and added several more safe pallets when it was already filled with them to begin with so now it just has a few more god pallets and more safe pallets then not. I played a match the other day on wraith and broke ######### you not at least 15 pallets only like 1 or 2 was mind gameable and by that point it was endgame and I'd only gotten like 2 hooks, and there were still like 4 more pallets that I saw and didnt break. I'll admit that I didnt exactly play it as well as I could have but I was just chasing one person that was just pre dropping almost every pallet and I just wanted to see how many pallets i'd have to break and just accpeted the L.

I don't get it, why does he have to be so slow to throw some weak ass knives?

a survivor can run around me with a tree and I'll never get close enough to hit them with these ######### knives.

    fix this ######### already

cause he sucks and I guess the devs were terrified of making him too strong or something

  • @Zeus said:

First off, I'm not saying the perk needs a buff or a change. It's just an idea I have that I wanted to share. Kind of like a rework to it. Probably strong but who cares, just spitting ideas here.

    • There will be 2 hex totems like now and if you break one, you become exposed until you break the other totem. That's it.

I don't see any cheese you can do with it like defending the totem because if you are defending it then you aren't going for anyone else. It might be a bit too strong with full hex builds but a full hex build is already memey on its own anyway. Maybe changing color of fire to indicate its a hex totem if it turns out to be too strong. But that's my idea. Have a nice day getting facecamped by bubba :)

cool idea though I'd say that the other totem should have its aura exposed within a certain radius maybe 12 meters to survivors

The latest chapters we have gotten have been, uh, interesting to say the least.

Descend Beyond- I love this chapter, everything about it, not only was the art and design good on this, but so was gameplay and sound. Really good chapter and a shame that this quality isn't in the All-Kill chapter OR Binding Of Kin.

Binding Of Kin- Worst chapter so far, not even art and design was that good. The only thing good out of it was reindeer elodie and the music. Just overall bad.

All-Kill: Definitely better than Binding of Kin however Descend Beyond is still better than this chapter imo. The art and design is really good in this chapter but the gameplay is.. not so much. Still really good though.

Hopefully the anniversary will be good, which most likely it will.

    Buff Trickster, GoobyNugget.

Blight is dope, Felix is meh. Twins are tied for my least favorite killer to play as and against, Elodie's scream is kind of annoying but also probably the most realistic scream in the game. Trickster is just not an effective killer, his art and sound design are pretty good though, definitely needs some buffs, yun-jin is fine I guess. perk wise the only "meta" perk to come out was hex undying which was already nerfed to being off meta i'd say, still decent but nowhere near its admittedly over tuned origin, oppression is ok and I haven't played with tricksters perks yet so no comment on them. Survivor perks are mostly memes but kind of fun I guess with desperate measures being imo the best survivor perk that's come out from the 3 chapters, maybe smash hit but I still think that other exhaustion perks beat it out though I do really like smash hit from a balancing aspect.

We need more grils in killer's club

Can we have a feminine killer next patch

    I've just dreamt with it

Certainly wouldn't mind having a killer that I don't mind getting smacked by.

I was wondering if there were any particular characters that killers just have it out for? Ever since I've been playing as Kate Denson, I've found that I've been incredibly unlucky with camping and tunnelling. I know not all killers are like this, it just seems like in 70% of matches I play now, when there are plenty of options to go for other survivors, I get the rough end of the stick and get tunnelled hard. Is there bias against certain characters that I don't know about? Maybe I'm just unlucky 😅

blendettes, I find immersed survivors to be super boring and they're the king of it.

  • @scenekiller said:

Speaking as a survivor main, the DS change was needed, for sure. However, it doesn’t do virtually anything to prevent tunneling (not that it fully did in the first place)

I suggest, in addition to the conditions set so far (touching a gen/totem/healing someone/etc), DS should remove its timer and be active indefinitely until another person is hooked. Some killers are completely abusing this nerf lately and negating any of the anti-tunneling purposes of this perk by just going on massive slugfests, and something really needs to change.

While not a perfect solution, I believe removing the timer is completely necessary now that the conditions are more strict. And if you aren’t a tunneler, this change should not face any opposition from you.

thats not a "small" buff that'd be a pretty big buff

  • the only thing I find kind of toxic is when survivors or killers abuse bugs like for instance parts of the map that killers cant access(none in the game right now that you can actually play).
