Don't forget Dead Hard and unbreakable. I've had that happen before. Someone's traded hooks, unhooked themselves dead harded the first hit, unbreakabled the second hit, decisive striked the third hit, and then used a syringe and escaped. I'm not sure how you're supposed to deal with that without some sort of hyper mobility option + insta down option.
You won't, survivors are allowed to escape for free.

Bad quality bait.

The game is not explicitly meant to be played like that. It is nowhere written that you have to tunnel. It just turned out that with the current game mechanics and rules this is often the easiest way to get lot of kills.
every side of game mechanics encourage you to do tunnel, especially hook system.

I don't think they enjoy it.
It's more of a "I feel miserable, because so and so (other survivors, bad game experience) and I'm going to at least make someone else feel the same way by tunneling.
Definitely not, in fact, people feeling unhappy for tunneling is definitely not normal because that's just how game is meant to be played.
-
I'm looking for nurse sidegrade with 3 slowdown perks.
-
Lower MMR as much as possible with 4 escape and bully super weak squad.

I think killers attack cooldown and survivor injure boost is unfair? remove both and game will be fun.

Every bad word should be perma banned from internet.

Survivors will have bad time even now if there is a weak link. The weak link gets tunneled out with 3 hooks and usually it is a very hard situation after that.
With my proposal: If there is a very weak link, survivors can decide to not unhook the person. Or they could wait until it becomes really safe to unhook. The weak links need to learn to play extremely safely and stealthily.
Survivors should be punished for having weak link though, they are team.

Honestly chasing survivors is pretty much all the same no matter what character they are. If I'm chasing a Meg and she's looping drops a pallet i break chase,loop,pallet,break,chase,.....
Really the only difference is skill and when everyone is pretty close they are still the same loop.
Unless your a mobile killer with ruin defending gens is kind of pointless gens go so fast. Non mobile killers survivors will just work through ruin because most the time you can't get around the map fast enough.
And even then, if ruin is dead only option remaining is tunneling.

Fair enough but in that video for example, everyone was injured but still went after him. I guess if your on death hook it makes sense to ignore other injured survivors and go for the kill but being chased from the early game despite others being injured can be frustrating and annoying.
I mean, hooks does not matter till you finally kill a survivor with third hook.
Injured survivors/slugged survivors can give somewhat same pressure as hooked survivors, without dropping a chase and getting a chance for "reset" of the progression.
As long as he has more than 1 hooks, it's only logical to chase for him, because that's the only way to progress through objective.
-
So killers can FINALLY chase other survivors with peace, instead of scaring of generators popping up every 30 seconds.

Because in that situation she's actually present and playing the game?
Did you even read my post? I specifically mention I was talking about how AFK Pigs should not be getting kills for going AFK. If she's actually playing the game then idrc.
In that case, AFK as is is already a reportable offense and you don't need any changes for things?

No it doesn't do the "same thing". Without the add-on the Pig actually has to chase and down someone before trapping them. By that point if she camps the box it's fair game. She won the chase and earned the kill.
The Video Tape allows her to get kills by literally AFKing at the start of the match infront of a box with ZERO effort.
Apples to oranges comparison...
I'm specifically talking about situation where pig uses video tape and camping around box.
It's same thing as afking in front of box, but for some reason you seems to be fine with it.

Sadly those changes are not here yet, so we need a temporal fix ASAP. And even then we still get team mates that are just potatoes and theres no fix for that.
SWF will still be the best option
It will be, but game will be balanced for those "best option" because survivors CAN choose to do so.

Oh yes, entirely doable, that's why we get a lot of complaints daily on the forum on how solo q is TERRIBLE and lacks of info.
You're just ignoring the reality, If solo q struggles to know when to go to the unhook, you expect them to have this level of coordination? that's delirant.
And who told u solo q agrees with plague cleansing mechanic? i always try not to cleanse but they just keep cleansing the second they're infected. That's why I hate plague as solo.
And no, players shouldn't adapt their gamestyle just because some players are BREAKING the rules and abusing a game design error, this is a mistake from devs and they should either ban these players or make it so the key works like pyramid head cage.
Stop defending this game abuse.
If solo q struggles on when to go unhooks, that's called "skill issue".

Tunneling and camping are not reportable offenses.
AFKing and idling are.
Then problem is on AFKing and Idling, not the addon or camping the box.
You know pig can just stay near a box and walk around it, slash everyone who tries to solve their trap? it does same thing.

I made a thread about this earlier today saying it's unhealthy and should be changed only to be met with a bunch of angry comments from killers saying:
- Survivors complain about everything.
- It's not an exploit.
- I should stop "crying".
- It's a fair strategy.
The funniest part is I main killer but for some reason pointing out that ONE killer add-on has the potential to be abused makes me an evil survivor main who is out to demonize killers. The DbD forums are completely insufferable at times and honestly, it's like people around here WANT to drive the game into the ground.
And you labelled everyone disagreeing with you as "killer", it's pretty much same vein isn't it?
If this forum is "completely insufferable at times", you better not stay here for 2203 posts because this place will not change with whatever reasons.

I'd estimate about a third of the amount of reports you'll likely get
That's like people who report for tunnel/camp, I'm sure he won't get any effect from it...
And if he do, that's hella funny!

@NeaISOP said:

Good luck doing that in solo q.
And please dont call this a "strategy" This is called Exploiting a design error and unspormantlike conduct.
This is what in-game report says about it:
UNSPORTMANTLIKE: Report this player for purporsefully losing the game, not participating in or disconnecting from the game early to avoid defeat. Examples: AFKING, rage quitting, IDLING, and refusing to participate in normal gameplay.
EXPLOITING: ABUSING BUGS OR ERRORS IN DESIGN TO GAIN A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
- Advertising exploits
- Exploit bugs, errors in design, or undocumented features to gain access to what otherwise would not be available or to obtain a competitive advantage
We don't need to balance things around solo q anymore, game is meant to be played with SWF from now on thanks to the changes they gonna implement to make it so soloqs have same tools as SWF.

No they cannot.
BT? Who is saving you and giving you BT if the killer has NOED?
DS? The same. You have no DS if you are still on the hook.
NOED, if not found quickly and destroyed is one kill guaranteed even for the dumbest killer.
Deliverance, BT, DS.
Look how easy it is, have you played survivor ever?
-
Action speed is nothing, instead, you should get MOVEMENT SPEED BUFF! 5% or even 10%, I'm sure it works!
-
We definitely need more RNG, hatch exists so killers should have counterpart of it!
-
If you hook 5 times with 4 survivors remaining, 5 gens will be done 100% of time since every survivors can waste 180seconds of time safely with just shift+w and safe palette with dead hard each time.
game just doesn't work without tunneling/camping since it's fundamentally broken, you can't really fix it.

Why they should fight? TO get easily spotted by the killer?
Nah, if is fine the way it is rn.
Simply because it's not fair to act like team until they are about to lose, then when they start to lose suddenly they become "individual" and deserves winning even if they actually failed as a team.
-
@Zolfo16 said:

I am not. Those things are part of the game. YOU do not enjoy them because you can't manage them or you do not find funny to manage them.
Survivor should may able to act both as team and as individuals.
Then add more things to let survivors fight each other during trial itself, it's more fun that way.
-
@Zolfo16 said:

The survivors can complain about the same things:
"Killer shouldn't be able to kill me when 5 gens are completed, it is not fair, we did 5 gens and the killer catched me in the end because he was lucky finding me!"
No! Your target is escape and escape mean doing gens AND opening gate!
"But killerhad NWO! how can i escape if NWO reveal me AND block the exit? Basically i am dead!"
No! There are strategies that can alow you to minimize NWO, that still maintain some effectiveness because otherwise it would be useless to equip.
The same thing is, the target for the killer is to kill. And killing mean avoid people eescape throught gates AND hatch.
There are strategies about closing the hatch.
Slugging is one.
Keeping the last surv injured another one.
Knowing where he probably is another one.
Knowing the position of the hatch another one (not only with blueprints but also understanding where statistically it is more likely to spawn).
Well, if you ignore everything, then yes it is completely random!
But for a skilled player it is not, you may have a lot of control over it.
Well yes? I'm always on removing EGC, immediately evacuating all survivors on 5 gens done as anything after that is pretty much unhealthy and breeds toxicity when killers have no chance of winning.
It also removes skewing of kill rate and devs can ACTUALLY see how broken this game is.
Survivor shouldn't have a chance of winning when they are losing, killers shouldn't have a chance to get a kill when they are losing.
I won't waste time on EGC when there is 4 person alive anyway, the chance of getting a kill is practically zero.
-
@Zolfo16 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2790747#Comment_2790747
It is not. If you feel it this way and you do not want to conded the 4th kill run perks in order to avoid it. Like whispers. Like No way out.
With NWO if you find the hatch basically there is 0% chance for them.
You can use offering to know there hatch is going to spawn.
There are a lot of things you and survs can do, but you do not want to do them, you want to keep YOUR perks and avoid this obstacle withou using any perk!
Nothing works at all when RNG is in favor of them, because you can walk to them and they literally escapes before you reach them.
"if you find the hatch" is exactly the problem, offering is not that bad of a choice though.
-
@Zolfo16 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2790582#Comment_2790582
No it is not.
It is about hiding, it is about betrayal, it is about taking risks, it is about using strategy.
You can search for the hatch, yes but the kille will int it 60-65% of the time, you can also camp an exit and start doing it as soon as the killer closes the hatch, you can use your time to open the crates and search for a key, it is not simply "flipping a coin".
And unlike killers, a single survivor can win even when the team is losing, the kiler cannot, or the killer is winning or he is losing.
It is all about RNG and wasting killer's time.
It's either one of waste 4 minutes to get a 4k or stop doing so and allow survivors to get escape for free.
killer can't really counter "strategy" survivors use in hatch game, it's pretty much free escape in any situations.
And if RNG allows it, even the slugged one can throw themselves onto hatch spawned next to em, I've seen this plenty of times.
It's literally nothing but a pity escape, survivor is team and if they are losing they should lose.
-
Probably, lately there is unbelievable amount of flashlighters who failed to lightsave, to the point of I gave them free light save.

Get good, don't play weak killer, don't play meme build, don't try NOT to do camp/tunnel, take mori with you.
You can eventually catch those trash and do everything you can to make them mad, killers can : slug him for 3 minutes 59 seconds, close hatch in front of him, use any abilities and nod rapidly while doing so and eventually slash him on hook.

*every survivor

I wonder why people try to punish camping by doing whatevershittypunishment things? I'm pretty sure if it gets that fast I'm gonna be even more determined to camp because that is only way to kill.

Nah. Saboutage is terrible, and Scourge Hooks are in a very strong place right now. If survivors are good enough to work out which ones are Scourge Hooks then they deserve that as it's the only realistic counterplay to those perks.

Better? most addons of killers are usually same effect as trash tier perk or worse version of a decent perk, and if you use it it's practically same as sacrificing your stats for something like that.
And survivor Items tend to be like perks but better too, even more so than killers.

This really all depends on your region and time you play a specific role. Survivor is instant during the day, killer is instant at night - it's been that way for me for a very long time. I waited 15 minutes to get one stupid killer match in yesterday during my lunch break. Doesn't mean the game is dying, just means there are far more killers in the day than survivors and the opposite is true at night.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2790561#Comment_2790561
I'm not saying this isn't necessarily true, but survivors can throw soooo hard leading to a big snowball. I was playing a pig match just yesterday where I only barely got 1k at the time the exit gates was open (I think they meant to 99 but accidentally opened) - in either case they tried to save one of them clicky clicky boiz that taunted me all match who I had hooked right before the exit gates got opened. ended up with a 3k (one slug crawled out). All that to say is sometimes you think you are screwed and think you will lose a match, but things can snowball and escalate, it happens to me fairly often. I don't personally give up hope easily. But also, pig just needs nerfs too, so there's that. /s
at least in my region, it's always like that.
"game is dying" is pretty much based on matchmaking time in many games, so if it is consistent enough to get extremely long que at one side in any time of the day is enough to consider "dead".

There is a difference between "I am going to do gens because it is my only objective" and "I made a build specifically to get the killer to chase me and avoid going down, using flashlights and Dead Hard to be annoying while my teammates use their Prove Thyself and Brand New Parts on Toolboxes to ensure all gens get done in under four minutes".
You don't even need any perks to genrush, theoretically you can finish generators within 5 minutes without using any perks.

But if 3 gens are done and there are no hooks or 4 gens are done with 2 or less hooks or 5 gens done with 4 or less hooks the killer dies?
I do not a gree, some slow killers can recover from that situation and also some survivors can enjoy the hatch game.
I do not think it is fair to change the whole game because YOU do not like something.
You should equip perks in order to avoind the things you do not like.
You do not like being genrushed? Slowdown.
You do not like being in long chases? Chasing perks.
You do not like survivor that keep hiding? Individuation perks.
And so on...
unlike survivors, killers can deal with lower gen count/endgame with perks.
It's not I do not LIKE survivor hiding, I can keep others till they bleed out and just searching for whatever amount of time, it just feels like waste of time for everyone when they gonna likely to die anyway.
And oh yes some survivors would enjoy the hatch game, because that's literally free escape for doing nothing.
