A Way To Encourage Killers Leaving The Hook
When the Killer hooks someone, he gets a small boost to action-speed (Missed attack cooldowns, vaulting, breaking pallets, kicking gens, picking people up, hooking people) for 45 seconds. Let's say 5%. Numbers can be changed to be balanced.
Note: Movement, attacks that hit, and the attack animation itself ARE NOT BOOSTED. This is not meant to be an offensive boost!
If he hooks a second Survivor: The duration refreshes, and the boost goes up by 1%.
Reasoning:
This boost would be wasted if the Killer camps. So it encourages Killers to leave the hook; chase people, break pallets, kick gens, etc.

It’s an interesting idea but I don’t know how effective it would be. Killers who face camp aren’t necessarily doing it because it’s strategically sound so minor boosts to secondary effects probably wouldn’t deter them from guarding a hook.
The devs did mention in the chat last month they have a possible facecamp related modification in early testing so who knows, maybe that will pan out? 🤷♂️
It’s an idea but sort of like dugman said, most killers who facecamp or proxy camp aren’t doing it to be strategic. Killers can choose whether or not if they want to camp, from what I’ve seen it’s mostly out of spite. Hopefully the devs do something about it soon though.
Cool idea, but I feel like some straight up slowdown would work better, and could also encourage Killers to go after unique Survivors. Here's a rough idea.
Once the Killer has hooked Survivor, the next Generator kick within the next 40 seconds will regress the Generator by 5%. The percentage goes up by 5% every time the Killer hooks a different Survivor up to a max of 30%. The kick won't gain a 5% boost if the Killer hooks a Survivor they have previously hooked
Well, i would disagree. A lot of perks in the game are only beneficial if you leave the hook. For example, (ruin, sometimes good when camping), DMS, pop, devour all require you to not camp.
Running most good perks already reduce camping.
Action speed is nothing, instead, you should get MOVEMENT SPEED BUFF! 5% or even 10%, I'm sure it works!
Killers need some sort of map pressure basekit to recoup the time of securing the first down. Problem is if you run those perks then you don't have any chase perks and you suffer and can get looped for way longer.
