Considering plenty of endgame perks killers have is generally focused on not allowing survivors to open gates, it would work.
It'd allow killers to guarantee a kill basically no matter what though.
-
It can be abused or whatever.
-
So they can safely secure a kill, there is no chance of losing by deliverance/bt/ds/dead hard.

Theres 2 sides of core gameplay.
Yeah, Abusing unintended aspect and break the game as much as possible, and playing normally.

Setting up a web of traps is like a good trapper on steroids.
But isn't it worse trapper because she can only hit survivors herself, and has to hit twice anyway?
-
SWF in general can be pretty toxic for literally everyone.
-
no u
-
How she can be S tier? by camping?
-
This is post of survivors who want to have shorter que time.
-
Actually any map needs much more hooks, but somehow they reduced hook count.

Ahhh yes, everything survivors do that you don't like is an exploit :)
Considering how boil over abuse was pretty much considered as exploit and about to get fixed, it doesn't work that way.
-
Locker save is pretty much exploit, lol
-
Considering how they worded like "I'm going to fix boil over" and not with DMS, it's fine.

Try picking Pig and doing it for at least 20 attempts, and see in how many of them the survivors do exactly what you described.
Already done that, Basically all for me, thanks.
Got bored and stopped doing so.

Only if you play against smart 4man.
Which is almost guaranteed in any decent MMR.

If you kill one survivor before the second gen is done, it's a guaranteed 4k already. So 1k with AFK strat -> 4k from all sources together. And getting at least 1k from beartraps is 1-(3/4)^4 = ~68%
So yeah, that's 68% of 4k for just standing still in the beginning we are talking about.
You won't kill one survivor before the second gen is done though, if you camp the box, survivors will 99 5 gens.
-
Aiming correctly is nothing when it's a trap anyway, it has to be correct.
-
4k in few hundreds, yes.
-
SBMM is working for survivors, not for killers.
Basically, opponent can have same power level, but not you.

They are terrified of losing so they tunnel at 5 gens against the most casual players
You have no idea how many people quit the game because of these sweaty losers
Survivors quitting is healthier for game as of now thanks to too many of them existing.

Soooo... do we need to nerf BBQ? Rofl.

They ALREADY do.
How does Trapper find anyone if they don't hit his traps?
Same for Myers and a long list of killers.
Then remove it, it's better for game.

I know. But I don't want to watch people play - I want to play myself.
Idk then, maybe play more hide-y? so you will be the last to die.

This. The current state is just awful. Everytime I want to have a chance to get 4k I just have to tunnel 1 or 2 people out (Legion stuff). Everytime I play fair and fun, I only end up with 2k or 3 if Im lucky and even then I have to sweat for that 3rd kill. Its not fun for me or the survivors and worst part is, I'm certain change isn't coming any time soon.
Imagine playing "fair and fun" in legion and getting kills at all.

I mean, I'd rather be playing the game than sitting there waiting for the game to end...
You can still spectate other players.

@Carrow said:
Some people just never mature emotionally. If they don't 4k every single game that they play they feel that their PP has decreased in size. And since tunneling is the most efficient and reliable way to 4k, it's a predictable end result. They don't care about chasing and having fun, for them, 4k is the only thing that brings fulfillment.
It's opposite, since all the survivors loves gen simulator and escaping at 3 minutes, if you don't tunnel out a person you have no chance to "chasing and having fun", it's literally the only option remaining to play for fun.
Without tunneling, you'll likely to get 5 gens done within sub two digit hit or so... I mean don't expect everyone to playing at low MMR, even if you are playing on extremely low MMR.

No. My preference, as I mostly play killer, would be for SWFs to not be able to communicate at all. But I know that's not possible, so I accept it.
But the game absolutely must know that I am not in a party. So as a solo survivor, it would be nice to see the Killer's perks after I die, so I can maybe learn a thing or two about how I lost...
I mean, Can't you just wait a bit?

I understand the utility of it, I'm just surprised that every single one did it. Normally, you can at least entice the occasional killer that way, but today Pigs are absolute sociopaths. We did break up and cranked out gens so there were 2 people getting out, but this trend is wild.
There is no reason to not tunnel anyway, even so if you bodyblocked every one of pigs.

Is that really possible? How long would it take to find your teammates? This game is still pretty highly populated, surely just randomly getting matched with friends is unlikely...
Of course, randos can always form a party, but not once have I ever had that happen to me...
Yes.
They will exploit anything possible to take advantage.
-
Real question is "how can killers NOT enjoy tunneling".

@Magicalclawz said:
This is a measure of your skill. Dont complain about add-ons cause you can bring just as strong add ons as well. Dont complain about perks either cause nothing is stopping you from bringing the strongest perks of your choice. All in all stop complaining about the game being either sided when it just comes down to your skill and strategy determining the outcome of the games you play.
Also what does playing like a "scum" mean there isnt a rule book or guidelines you have to abide by, you should play according to the strategy you have in mind. I need to remind and stress the fact that its a "GAME" not real life. You are not a scum for camping and tunneling nor are you a scum for blinding the killer or clicking the flashlight.
Use the "GAME" for its intended purpose "FUN" and stop taking things that happen in-game personally.ππππππ
Imagine not even reading things and being this salty.

@Carrow said:
That's interesting, I had 12 Pigs today, but not a single one camped any of the boxes. All of them tunneled the first survivor they found instead. And I do mean tunnel, even when all three of us bodyblocked, the pigs just went after the hooked survivor like someone was holding a gun to the player's head. And I do mean literally every single Pig today.
If you bodyblock, pig has more reason to tunnel because she can pressure all bodyblockers that way.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
The killer's first hook is where they begin to create momentum, with the game suddenly going from 3 survivors on objectives to 1 (1 hooked, 1 chased, 1 saving). In the early game, the primary goal of the survivors is to prevent this momentum from beginning to gather for as long as possible, while still leaving some resources for the team later so the momentum swing is less severe.
Preventing that first hook for as long as possible makes complete logical sense for a team intending to win. Just like hardcore tunneling 1 survivor ASAP makes complete logical sense for a killer intending to win.
Tragically the other side suffers, but that's just how the game is- whoever wants to win more and is willing to sacrifice the other side more is more likely to be the one to have fun + succeed.
I don't think it is, because the more survivors waste time with sabotaging killer, the more killer has to tunnel out survivors.
I like people try to save their teammate because it's literal free pressure.
-
game doesn't differentiate swf and non swf because survivors can lobby dodge till they match with friends.

Are you serious?
So you use THREE perks to create a very peculiar combo that can give you 30 more seconds against the particular situation of a facecamper that camps you from the first hook but only after you managed to unhook someone he decided for some reasons not to camp?
How many times this idea will come in clutch? You are lucky only because those perks are pretty good by themselves and can for sure be handy in many other different situations but you can't say that they are a countermeasure for fc.
It's clear they are countermeasure for fc, because that's the way BHVR does.
just like everything else, they will fix gameplay problem with perks for some reason.
-
Hide and seek is unfun, don't force killers to play that game.
-
It'd change the game, but in more exciting way for sure.

Partying in the basement is fun, that is correct way to deal with bubba.

Slugging a survivor and bleeding them out is the only thing I consider toxic as a killer. Of course this isn't counting BO or some exploits survivors are using .
That is prime example of non-toxic act.
-
If people gonna use "kill rate" as metrics bubba is definitely t1.

Well this is the difference between a good Nurse and everyone else, a good Nurse consistently lands hits and it takes a long time to get to that stage. Your average survivor is easy to down as they are predictable but once you start facing good ones Nurse becomes very difficult and most people stop playing her as you did.
But if you want to down survivors fast, Nurse is the best but there is no easy road with her.
I mean she is still easier than any other killers as any other killers literally doesn't have ability to hit survivors.
-
Don't play survivor so I can play survivor, period.
-
I'm not even sure if nurse is that fast, she HAS TO use one more blink against dead hard no matter what... basically dead hard will hard counter nurse without requiring any skills at all.
But then there is no one else actually viable so...
