I don't care where I play, I just want to play as bubba against super good swf, Face camp one, rancor one and NWO one to secure three kills.
Very fitting end for games like this.

Well, you don't know it's NOED until you have one hooked and one on the ground often. But yeah, altruism happens.
Winning one chase doesn't help if the other three don't have DH. In my experience, all teammates don't have it. I just go after the others.

I think playing killer with 3 perks for most of the match "deserves" exposed survivors during EGC. But I wouldn't mind if the speed boost got removed.
You don't know DS or BT exists but killers respect them, it's survivor's fault if they intentionally ignore it.
and "if others are very bad at chase it doesn't matter" is meaningless when survivors can always choose to go for four tryhard squad with every meta perks possible.
-
Actual fix for old maps.

NOED is probably more variable. Could get a 4K or could do nothing because of it.
DH is probably more consistent on a person that uses it well. But one person having Dead Hard won't save the whole squad.
I don't think comparing a killer perk to a survivor one is very productive.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2817662#Comment_2817662
😂
NOED only works against weird teams intentionally ignoring NOED and trying to go save, DH can undo pretty much any chases consistently.

Just do bones again, it's that easy.

NOED is definitely not as strong as DH, you can't change my mind.

The thing is, that gens completed is a rather volatile stat that isn't shown in the post-game screen. If you forget to look at the bottom of your screen, you might not remember the gens done by the time you are ready to write the stuff down. I didn't track anything that needed to be done during the trial, either, as I knew that I would regularly forget to do so or mess up.
Seeing that the stats were really appreciated by a lot of people, I might go for 500 and see if a lot changes ^^ MAAAAYBE I could include gens done, but I am 40/60 about it.
It'd be interesting but I will definitely not recommend it, it takes so much effort for something that is not so much useful.
-
Next time, you could log generator speed too.
-
Boil over is best tunneling perk, one less BT/DS for survivors.

That's how most people play dbd. And that's the reason we need hit validation in first place
I'm 100% sure most people play in less than 40 pings, I can see their ping in the match.

Bro, that's so ######### laggy.

Nearly all god windows are gone after first use (breakable walls).
God loops are identical because of the pallet being consumable.
If you're having trouble with survivors tbagging you at safe loops, play a killer with consistent anti loop or stack chase perks.
Forced to break palette is literally a guaranteed win for survivors though.

They do practically nothing till next 3 months or so.

The average kill rate stats are useless. They take everything into account, from little Timmy who just got the game, to Hex: Virginity who played the game since beta non-stop and has over 12000 hours. Most players are around Timmy, somewhat higher, and people don't know how to counter tunneling and camping over there. We don't need the game to cater to the people who don't know how to play the game.
All of that is conjecture though.
And it also isn't a solid argument against any balance decisions derived from it. Balancing decisions must take into account the average match that occurs when an average player hits 'play'. Top-down balancing can have crippling impacts on the game outside of that narrow niche of players.
Average killer players are getting dunked on every two matches, it means survivors should be nerfed hard?

I never said that. She can be ranged but her ranged hits should be reasonable.
It's reasonable, you might have bad connection or something? it happens.

Why should players on other platforms get different treatment? Aren't we all playing the same game?
Actually, it's the results of people treated equally, even if platform itself is an hinderance, they will be tunneled if they play badly.
and, cs (esp switch) players tend to play badly, it's like a jinx.

both BT & DS is extremely simple as is, one literally gives you free escape because reasons, and one literally makes you invincible because reasons.
There CAN'T be more camping/tunneling perks as those two are the ultimate of all it is.

Yes. when you know killer is able to hit you because of experience and make a right move is fun. Random hits you can't predict because of many factors are not
I never know if im going to get hit or not by huntress. She's getting random hits she shouldn't and that's frustrating
There is no situation where killer gets a hit randomly, all their hits are caused by skill.

they totally can
Literally impossible, if it was possible there won't be a case for taking the game hostage by hiding in locker and walking around a few second.

Because unpredictable is unfun. Games supposed to be fun
But killers can't predict how survivors do things, so you think it should be fixed too?
-
I mean if a killer can't hit you no matter what as long as you are playing correctly, does he has to be human at all?
I think you should play PvE games if you want to counter and predict everything.

Except Pinhead.
His anti-loop is so weak it may as well not exist. His power is his Chain Hunt.
Nemesis and Slinger are definitely anti-loop chasers tho
Chain itself is strong enough to kill plenty of palettes, it's just so ######### hard to hit.
-
Definitely, this is why this game is so swingy... it's pretty much either of 4k or 4e, not much in between.
If you are winning, you have more moment and become less stoppable, while you are losing, you can't do anything and there is no way to crutch.
-
How about a simple perk that slows gen speed by 33%?
And latter is pretty much dead hard as it grants survivors at least three additional health state, which equate to one more hooks.
-
@SuzuKR said:
There's nothing wrong with safe loops if they're mindgameable. Unmindgameable safe loops are bad design.
I think there is plenty of 100% safe loop.

I called Nemesis as okay during the PTB. I seem to be right, also, he got ######### on Console.
I also called Pinhead as being weak on PTB. I was also right.
I did also call Deathslinger weak during PTB. Fat miss on that one.
And then all of them were chaser killer.

We never had a strong M1 killer, what do we expect.

They're not top tier or anything but the game isn't fun going against them. You also forgot about Twins, Pyramid Head, and Death slinger. It's just been nothing but anti loop killers and pretty much the only thing you can do against a killer is loop. If you get denied to play the game what's even the point?
There is pretty much no unloopable anti loop killer.
-
"killer que longer in day time" is not the case for me, I don't know how, probably because people in my region is pretty much all tryhard sweatfest.
-
If pig is actually try hard enough at least one survivor is guaranteed to die anyway.
-
It's perfectly working as intended KEKw

They already lost 99% of the Killers due to catering to Survivors.
Yet the second something Killer-beneficial comes along 'OMG! Survivors will quit! Stop catering to Killerz!'
I mean how it is "alive" when a game takes 15minutes to que up.

In my humble opinion, Sluzzy is the only one with no form of cognitive dissonance. They are the only person with the correct opinion. Everyone dismissing him is just a sign that they have no idea how DBD actually is.
Definitely, DbD is a game mere mortal can't understand.

I mean you can claim any point as "good point" as long as you agree with them.
-
I don't really get why people keep playing solo survivors if it's miserable as ######### and takes extremely long to que up, just play killer, it's not that hard right?
-
@GoshJosh said:
I don't understand your idea. When you say repairing no longer stops regression, you are just sitting on a generator repairing for zero progress? In exchange for aura blocking?
even ruin regression is 50% of repair speed, so a survivor can repair gen at 50% speed.
Normal regression is 25% of repair speed.

No what I believe is the reason for the player drops is the last year of just anti loop killers. I don't believe that MMR is the cause for players leaving because it's proven to be better than the last garbage ranking system. Also what makes a lot of sense is that the playerbase drops after every single October until around April and that's because it's a horror game where a ton of casual players just want to play a spooky game with their friends around Halloween time and then drop it, it happens every year. There are objectively more survivor players than killer players so it makes sense that there would be a sharper decrease in players because survivors are leaving, they're sick of not being able to play the game because of only new anti loop killers.
And we still have too many survivors that skews matchmaking, seems like survivors leaving is more or less healthier for the game.

4.4 is slow but it's not terribly slower than normal movement speed. A 4.4 killer can still catch up to you in relatively the same amount of time as a 4.6. As well as the fact that running in a straight line will kill you in seconds and dodging left to right makes you lose a pretty good amount of distance.
He is TERRIBLY slow with context of windows and palettes.

@JonahsTablet said:
The game is no longer about the "big bad killer" destroying the survivors which is fine, the only issue is that the gap between the best and worst killers is so wide that the game can't be enjoyed by many people who don't want to dedicate hundreds of hours to get ok at a character.
What's actually problematic is unbelievably big gap between best survivors and worst survivors, and latter is more of a majority.
It makes broken statistics like myer having more than 50% kill rates, hindering actual balancing of the game.

That's a valid point and I somewhat agree with it. What really annoys me is that the game truly was very survivor sided back in the day but people didn't seem to care as much. Yeah a lot of people complained as they should but killers have gotten a TON of stuff to help them out since then and it seems like the complaining has gotten even worse. I just wish more people realized how bad they really had it and how much progress has been made. I believe it's been over-corrected but if you don't think it's gone that far yet it very well might one day.
If complaint made game better, we should have more complaint, thoughts?
-
I wonder where people get an idea of "survivor que times bad so we need more survivors"...?

@gendoss said:

In that case any problems you have with killer is a skill issue. Sorry but I just know it's a skill issue and you can't actually complain about them. So I better not see you ever complain about any issues with killer.
No good killer players can actually have a chance with most killers in plenty of maps against good survivors team, hardly to call "skill issue".
-
It's an actual problem lmao
-
And I mean, what's the deal with losing survivors?
We have more than enough survivors already, I don't get why we have to care about losing survivors.
-
He isn't even ridiculous thanks to being 4.4, just hold shift+w and dodge the knife.
