Survivor Perk Idea

[Perk Name Here]: Repairing generators no longer stops regression. Your aura cannot be read while repairing a generator.

----

Between Barbecue & Chili and simply glancing at a gen from 40m away to check for regression sparks, it can be very easy for killers to "patrol" gens from a distance.

In exchange for repairing slower (by trying to repair through/against the regression), the survivor gets away with repairing it uninterrupted if the killer doesn't visually check all sides of the gen.

The perk won't need a shared perk icon, since other survivors will know you have it when they see sparks coming from a gen you're actively repairing.

  • I don't understand your idea. When you say repairing no longer stops regression, you are just sitting on a generator repairing for zero progress? In exchange for aura blocking?

even ruin regression is 50% of repair speed, so a survivor can repair gen at 50% speed.

Normal regression is 25% of repair speed.

Ok, that makes a little more sense - if that's what OP intended. But in DbD, either a generator is regressing or it is not. Not saying it can't be changed but sounds weird to picture a gen both being repaired and still regressing.
