She won't get a change, fundamentally not possible to work with more nerfs.
-
Mostly just skins.

What.... it literally does matter, it explains why she has a low kill rate when she is an extremely strong killer. You can't just disregard an explanation and just run with statistics. You make no sense.
There is really no objective data that tells she is broken, when all the data shown is telling she is fine, the chances are she is fine.

She doesn't have a low kill rate because she's bad. She only had a low kill rate because people at low mmr, or people who don't know how to play her. At high mmr she is a beast and gets the highest kill rate, she only has a low rate overall because she's hard to pick up at first but once you know how to play her, kills come easily to her.
Doesn't matter, statistics is there.

If it's such an easy 4k why are you scared of them making something as simple as kindred basekit?
There is no fear in making kindred basekit, just feels stupid, pointless and kinda unfair.
Add it or not bad players gonna do bad but I don't like giving advantages to non-bad players.

Oh man, the classic "This has no counterplay" argument. If it's in the game, it means that it's OK as it is for now. Probably the thing she needs is an add-on pass but that's all. I don't think we'll see a rework of her any time soon considering that she has the lowest kill rate in the game.
Uh, if she has lowest kill rate we definitely needs a buff.
-
order of magnitude fun than usual DbD just because I can use whatever addon that looks interesting all the game.

Sounds like a killer main who is scared of not being able to stomp on solo players anymore. Where will your easy 4ks go?
Literally everywhere I go, no perks can really change up how they act, and easy 4k will always be there.

My first game of camping and tunneling was a succes! I camped them all in the basement and played the grab game, they barely got any points too!
Be careful, it gonna gets harder and harder as you keep doing, although that's also exciting.

Maybe, it will confirm a kill I guess? But its noed with 3 slowdown perks more sweaty? So you have more time to camp and tunnel early and mid game?
You can effectively ignore obsession as it'll instantly kill them at endgame.

Alright, I will give up on trying to be nice. I will be conservative and accept that this game is just about getting your kills. Not a game to have fun. Tunneling and camping with noed and 3 slowdown perks it is.
I'll recommend rancor too if that's the way.

So me walking around, respecting everyone who just got unhooked is them actually 'outsmarting' me? Or just me trying to give them a nice time because I know how boring it is to get tunneled every single game. Alright, I will just camp and tunnel everyone out now, let's see how they like it. I will show you some endgame screenshots
Yes, you've been outsmarted by their strategic emotional feeling.

What I am trying to say that some of her very popular addons are popular for a reason of course. Her range addons, recharge speed and maybe decrease of fatique all needs to go.
So you just pretend there is a reason which somehow justifies nerfing her without elaborating it?
-
@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
Her good addons need some spicy nerfs. I am sick of all Nurses I see run the same addons, usualy of course the purple range with fast recharge blinks. Balanced! Haha.
Specific addons used all times doesn't really mean it needs to be nerfed though.

No nurse is unbalanced and overpowered. she should get a good nerf in the future so bhvr has an easier time designing the rest of the game.
How tho

Wait, wait, hold on. Let me really activate the almonds about this video.
If you do good against her, nurse is balanced ggez.
If you don't, you clearly just don't know the right counterplay, skill issue.
Am I getting this right?
Yes? why the hell you want to nerf something you can deal with.
-
You mean "interactive" as in "no repairing match"? in which case yes I'm always try to make that.
-
Does "vicious cycle" even exists in this game which almost made that way
-
I say "what's wrong with survivor blood web"

I'm happy they're nerfing dead hard but people shouldn't just believe "Dead hard is gone the games are going to be so much easier now!". I don't think a lot of people realise how annoying 4 sprint burst survivors are.
I'm 100% sure 4 sb is order of magnitude easier than 4 dh.
-
Plot twist, it's all buff.

@CashelP14 said:

You do realise that after dead hard is nerfed the good survivors are just going to start using comp strats. Basically predrop most pallets and basically not loop at all.
Don't forget also that Sprint Burst will take it's place in the meta. You'll basically find a survivor, see them run away, take 10 seconds to catch up and then they'll predrop pallets and be extremely safe. Dead hard is annoying but with every big survivor nerf, they always find a way to work around it.
Yes, but even with workaround it will be much healthier and dev can find problem if it exists.
-
@Carrow said:
Yes, but I can't wait for all the salt when predropping because the new meta and killers start whining about how the game is pallet breaking simulator.
Huh? game is already pallet breaking simulator, what are you talking about?

It's not that Dead Hard is balanced, it's just the perception that it's some brainless automatic crutch.
There's plenty of good reasons to not like Dead Hard, man. You don't need to invent more.
Eh, it still works as brainless crutch as it can fix plenty "oh #########" situation with usage of one brain cells.

You're right, it is an unpopular opinion!
And a fact.
No basekit perks can fix up bad players.
-
She has countless counterplay that is only available on her and not other killers, I don't think having an opinion based on pure lie is the way to go.

If decisive strike is suppose to prevent tunnelling, why is there even a chance of if just not working even if you are tunnelled?
If it is not designed to prevent tunnelling, why did you need to make it disable when touching a generator or healing?
Maybe it is designed to make tunneling harder?
-
If that picture with you DCing is the reason you made this thread, I sincerely hope nurse will not get a nerf because she will not deserve such.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
It's funny you should call them bad when Dead Hard For Distance™ relies on them strategically routing correctly to a tile they know they can hit and then loop. DHFD isn't correcting a mistake, it's enabling a play they can make knowing they have Dead Hard, and there's a world of difference between the two.
Either way, calling strategical one additional life for no downside™ balanced is kinda meh.

I have to be honest the mental gymnastics here is absolutely insane, it's very rare if ever that I've been t-bagged by all 4 survivors in a single match. If t-bagging is akin to spitting in the face or putting the middle finger up it should be the same for everyone, no?
No.
-
Since there is only one ghost face, GF teabagging is 100% not offensive.
If there was four, it'll be bullying.
-
More or less not really an "intended feature", but then reducing killer hitboxes gonna tremendously help in looping.
-
Tbh this perk might as well be removed, it doesn't make game any interesting but rather plain kills an aspect.
-
Uh, Hold W meta WITH dh is much worse than SB tbh.
-
@SimplyPixelated06 said:
Nurse is definitely not fine. Every time I play against a decent nurse, the match turns out like this, and everyone is dead at 5 gens. She needs a nerf and everyone knows it.
It looks like survivors are on extremely low MMR and killer is on rather mid-high MMR.
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
If the kill rate skyrocket after DH nerf they will probably buff survivors in general who knows.
In my opinion it's basically required against both Nurse and Twins.
It's "required" for any killers if you try to get best result.
-
@DoritoHead said:
Saying a killer is balanced because many people aren't that good at them is about as good of a point as DH is balanced because some survivors use it into a wall.
More like saying survivor itself is balanced because most just aren't competent enough to play good, and it's actually the way how DbD is balanced.
-
For some reason BHVR thinks making a perk basekit is generally a bad idea.
-
Since locks are only available once for each lockers, it will be "OP" in current way of implementation, but then locks are negligible anyway so
-
Wut, I thought they stated it will NOT be capped...?

rude?

We're talking about a killer who covers the same distance as the survivor does in their 1st chain blink. Then only a matter of seconds to recover both charges. If you the nurse are failing to hit the survivor within blink range, and then you are doing something wrong. See the problem is the second blink. The first blink, yes you can reasonable dodge it, but the second? If the nurse knows where you are? No.. there is no way to dodge it.
Lets say hypothetically you do make an error and over shoot the teleport, I imagine you are punished heavily for it yes? Well not really. If the blink is obviously too long, she waits out the fatigue which also charges her blink at the same time. If its a fairly close and she tries but fails, she is so close to hit the survivor, she can generally get them without even waiting for the second charge.
So no.. assuming she can land her blinks, no she cannot be dodged. There isn't really many movements for a survivor to make against a nurse, its either keep going forward or double back. If you keep going forward she lands on top of you and hits you, and if you double back she auto corrects and doubles back herself.
You seem to have this idea that nurses will just mess up. But would hold that same attitude for survivors. DBD is balanced because of the assumption that survivors should make an error? Of course not, we know that with enough practice you can reach a point with little to no mistakes, killers are no different.
And if you are within the range of second blink, you are already close enough.
If they are close enough they will be killed, just like every other killers, what's the problem there?
Oh and yes, if survivors NEVER make mistake like knowing whatever killers gonna do, game is literally unbeatable and survivors are literally unkillable, it's just a fact.

Most Killer mains only play killer, and if they do play survivor they won’t face many Spirits. Even if they do, even less will actually take the time to apply that experience and use it to their advantage when playing the Spirit.
My point is, Spirit is one of those killers that you need to play against to get good at. I don’t think many people bother to do it though.
If your point is true, there will be plenty of spirit.

The only reason competitive players can beat a top Nurse is because of Gen-rushing.
I mean legitimately prioritising the gens and exiting and doing nothing else not just doing the objective.
Yes you technically can genrush the Nurse to prevent her from being able to apply proper pressure, but its because killers have access to tools like the nruse that the ability to gen rush needs to exist in the first place. Her existence is holding back the majority of killers because survivors need to be able beat her.
See originally the counter to nurse was a stealth playstyle. Slow careful, using the mist and larger maps to avoid her. Now stealth is no longer a realistic option for survivors, they lost the actual counter she was designed in mind to play with so now either the survivors genrush or they lose. If the nurse is being looped, then the killer is doing something wrong.
There is nothing to do beside gen rushing, competent killer = hook rushing and competent survivor = gen rushing, really nothing strange in that.
If survivors literally CAN NOT take even thirty seconds or so, then the survivor is doing something wrong, because it's literally not possible to predict every move survivors do.
-
"entity displeased" was salt on the wound.
-
If every nurse players running range addons, and if she is statistically not an outlier, the chances are her addons are actually fine.
-
...or, add taunts.

But what's stopping them from adding it as a universal perk?
And if that's not what you meant, I'll also ask; how is this not usable? It's literally just another statistic buff perk like Brutal Strength, Unrelenting, Save the Best for Last or Bamboozle. And if it's universal, newer Killer players would love it since it'd make pick-ups less punishing.
Really nothing, but then that's quite rare as the only things I can think of are demogorgon perks and that totem break perks.
and I meant "usable" as in "somewhat competent enough to be chosen over meta perks".
-
Wait... it does? I wish it's not an intended behavior...
-
Well there is really no reason to choose her now, her power is boring and not even *that* strong compared to good killers.
