That's nowhere near on the same level as survivors who are just there to make killers as miserable as possible.
Prayer Beads are the most miserable thing in this game to face as survivor.

Also no; there should be no punishment for lobby dodging. Again: I should not HAVE to face a meme-squad or face punishment.
I guess it's okay for me to DC. I should not have to face a prayer Beads Spirit and have to face punishment for it.

Nobody's forcing you to do anything. It's just a piece of friendly advice based on my own experience with lobby dodging.
Bottom line is, the devs probably aren't going to punish anyone for dodging, so you can either try to prevent it by yourself, or you can play lobby simulator.
I know. I'm saying that there needs to be something done so I don't have to prevent it. I should be able to load into a lobby and get ready to play a game, not be dodged every time. Like I said, I shouldn't have to not bring in items just so I don't get dodged. This Is why I believe a small punishment for dodging is needed.

My SWF mate and I almost never get dodged. Try not bringing in items, that usually does the trick.
I don't see why I should be forced to not bring in my items just to play the game. I should be able to use them all I want without having to worry about getting dodged every time I load into a lobby. It amazes me people are still scared of flashlights in 2019. I really think there should be a minor penalty for dodging. Not as severe as DC'ing, but still a small punishment. The only time I think its acceptable is when pings are crappy. Maybe they could make it so you can back out if someone's ping is over a certain mark. Like 300.

Lobby dodging shouldn't even be considered punishable. Nobody is hurt, survivor lobbies take seconds to join, i can dodge for whatever reason, from me not wanting to sweat against swf after a bad day to pizza delivery guy ringing the bell.
Classic useless survivor mains request.
I wait 10 minutes as a survivor with my friends to play a game just to be dodged and forced to wait another 10 minutes because the killer was too much of a pussy to face me and my friends. I don't play this game to play lobby simulator. I've had days where I get dodged every other game for using a damn flashlight.

This is why she NEEDS to stay. People don't realize how good survivors have absolutely no counterplay aside from Nurse; so if it is in fact a nerf, survivors will 100% go back to being the main power role with no counterplay at all. (Spirit will be the only hope but then again she can still be looped sometimes.)
LMAO

They should revert Plague and Ghostface. Those were ######### changes. Hopefully with Nurse they will be smart and just rework her add ons and get rid of the omega blink build. And hopefully they’ll do a PTB and actually listen to feed back, but usually their PTBs are just about bug fixes and not actually about whether the content is good or not, so who knows. This is why I rarely play this game anymore, too much BS.
Ghostface changed were completely reasonable.

That could be argument, if not:
-Survivors dc to every killer and also in the same amount. Even I was a pre patch Legion main, I had play on a regular bases also Meyers and the Clown and sometimes Trapper, Nurse and the Huntress* and should I tell you something? On all killers I got my 1x/2x/3x/4x dcs.
-I will never support toxic behavior, as far I am aware of it. That means in case of dcing people... I don't care at all about them, or what they want. Would I have the choice, I would always do what toxic people annoy's most. If you have a problem with a game mechanic, killer, perk or what ever, - there are non toxic variants you can use to release your anger, like writing nerf threads and so on.
But let you not fool yourself now... In the game I have mostly only meet friendly survivors and that had also even end in friendly endgame chats between 01 min-30 min on a regular bases. So, because I had not often meet the toxic survivor type, I had not often come in a situation where I had really to annoy someone^^.**
*Trapper, Nurse and the Huntress mostly because of dailies.
**Besides the named dc's, of course. But as said before, I don't care at all about that playertype.
Legion was DC'd against so frequently. Far more than any other killer. There was a good reason for it too.

Could we just stay please at the topic?
Btw., for some people that could play their char good enough, there was counterplay and also fun while playing against him/her.
I will never understand why some people, just because they, or a group dislike something, think that then automatically every person on the planet also dislikes, what they dislike. Different people have different likes/dislikes, huh?
Edit: Sorry @ all, that I had just to say :|.
Hmm, for a killer with counter play, strange that there were DCs against him every game, right?

Jesus legit you only cry about trying to nerf killers. Have you ever hit rank one killer for more than a couple seasons? I only see you cry about how killers are way to strong lol
I mean, he's right. Because of Bloodlust, bad killers can now get easier, undeserved downs. The map itself is awesome, and the loops are too. But Bloodlust is just horrendous on it.

@Ember_Hunter said:
Here you go:
-3 second stun, at this point, I would rather be hit by a pallet in Feral Frenzy. 4 seconds discourages you from chasing and gives survivors enough distance to get to the 100th loop and t-bag you.
-Keep Deep Wound affected by terror radius, but mending is too weak anyway. It should have skillchecks. Also, it should have debuffs but make the mending timer longer to make the debuffs force the survivors to mend instead of pushing through gens.
-Feral Frenzy should last long enough so that you can sprint half the map distance without having to stab anyone. HillyBilly and Spirit can do this, so why not Legion?
-Feral Frenzy should also have a much shorter cooldown, I find Spirit to be more fun because her power cooldown is short and actually useful in chases.
-Increase the Feral Frenzy speed and vault distance, gosh it feels so slow and survivors can just vault one pallet to t-bag you and have so much distance already. (Again, good thing I killed that Kate and she DCed >:(
-Feral Frenzy should also be able to give you double break actions and double locker check speed, helps gen patrolling to be more efficient.
-Missed attacks should no longer deplete the power gauge completely, leave half of it.
-Can activate Feral Frenzy when at least 50% of the bar is full
-Keep normal attacks decreases power gauge and missed attack consequences, but only if Feral Frenzy can decrease the Power gauge once again. Or make it so that you have to hit all remaining survivors with Feral Frenzy once to be allowed to down the timer further with power, so it is skill based and gives extreme map pressure.
-See blood again in Feral Frenzy, it is way too easy to lose Legion players now that blood is gone.
-Keep 115% movement speed. This is a first step to make Legion fun to play with.
(Bonus: I recorded this match to try to show how underwhelming Legion is, but the Exit Gate glitch just had to happen, and I messed around in the middle and tried to play overweight Legion)
Sorry for Audio, and sorry if it is a requirement to censor names, I will remove video link if that is a rule.

I think 26-28K is a perfect game for survivors

As long as we talk about a Legion basekit - aka. a Legion without Addons, there was.
But... I have learn in this forums, to write no tutorials anymore, or to even start to search tutorial videos for someone, because it ended always in denying the tutorial texts, or even the videos and... I actually would like to spent my time for more as just getting denied.
So, then for some people the Legion had really no counterplay. Ok. And I don't mean that offensive. It's the same like with the Huntress: Not everyone can hit with her hatchets. It is just as it is.
Edit: Sorry... It is usually not my nature to let someone down on this way, but this forums are kind of exhausting what this matters.
What made basekit Legion more counterable than a Legion with no addons? There was no way to dodge a Legion using Frenzy. Addons or not. Pallets didn't matter, windows didn't matter, nothing mattered. He denied the two and only things survivors have to stop the killer in a chase. This is why survivors DC'd so frequently against him. Go ask any of the well known, good killer players in this game if Legion had counter play and be prepared to hear 1 answer from every one of them.

Slugging is a very useful tactic that helps create map pressure and thus allows you to have more time to kill them. But, you need to get a natural feel for it and learn when and when not to slug. If I were you, I'd definitely start slugging more at red ranks, because they're more efficient with generators.

Really? I've had very decent queue times for survivor lately. I've gotten into a lobby in under 2 minutes like every time.

I want it. Just so after a game I can legitimately ask what my teammates were thinking when they couldn't get 1 gen done in a 5 minute chase. PS4 is brutal sometimes.
-
GhostFace is a mid tier killer. He's not insanely good, but not bad. You should do fine with him if you use his power at the correct times and use it in chases
-
Billy is a very balanced killer. Only thing that needs touching is his Carburetor addon.
-
Literally all he has to do is either hide his screen, dodge the lobby, or bring in OP killer ######### to discourage them from sniping. He's the only one to blame for the fact that he gets sniped. Tru3 is so sensitive and gives them so much attention. Why do you think he gets sniped so often compared to other streamers?

@deadbyhitbox I must disagree... I've know several red ranks (you can count me in if you value purple ranks) qho use NOED for the thrill of the endgame, using NOED with Blood Warden is one the most satisfying things to do in DBD
Exactly why I said 9/10 people who use it are bad. The 1/10 to me uses it for builds and other stuff
-
@[Deleted User] said:
This is why I think it's ridiculous to say "Only bad killers run NOED". Survivors at red rank and purple ranks often come loaded with Adrenaline plus instaheals. It's such a ridiculous double standard. How often do we hear "Only bad survivors run Adrenaline and instaheals"? NOED is ultimately a personal choice and I can't blame any killer for using it. The stigma around it is so dumb.
Pretty much every bad killer runs NOED. Most use it because they fail to control and keep pressure consistently throughout the game. 9/10 killers who run NOED are bad at the game, I can guarantee you that. Insta Heals are for survivors who are not confident in their looping ability. Meaning they too are usually bad players. Also, there is nothing wrong with Adrenaline lol

Why would you nerf it in the first place

he is not fine , not only survivors break him out of stalk which could be fine if not for the long cd , this make him pretty much runnin m1 killer becauue you need wait ages for cd , if he gets 4 k on rank 1 that means you and your team is pretty bad ,
He's Myers tier. He's fine and needs no changes aside from the inconsistent revealing.

I am not impressed by the Freddy rework, so probably not the best example. Or Wraith. Or Trapper. Or Myers. Or Huntress. Or Billy I have more positive things to say about Doctor, Hag and Spirit, but with caveats.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oy7ZmFrsIE
Regarding Legion, I have looked on Youtube as @Talmeer suggested and the top video for 'dead by daylight playing against legion' is from 8 months ago, 318k views, by Monto. He directly challenges the idea that Legion is 'not under-powered', and he's sure Legion is(and probably still does after the changes). In his tutorial he uses what were standard meta perks for survivors at that time: BT, BL, SC and Adrenaline.
His 3 pointers:
- Do not stick together
- If he hits you and goes away, mend
- When he jumps over pallets, don't run, just jump back. Does not work on windows
I remember this from when Legion was released. More than half the time that third one works, because Legion's view is locked forwards until the animation finishes. If they attack to early, it's queued and they attack straight ahead of them as soon as they are off the pallet. If they attack late you could be too far back over the pallet for them to hit; they have to turn round first. The time-window for Legion to do this is very small and they land off the pallet slightly further than survivors do.
On actual windows it doesn't work because the interaction-zone for them is much smaller; Legion will be blocking it. Much of this was discussed by killers when Legion was released, but survivor-mains don't make a habit of going into killer threads to just listen.
Monto's video isn't just trying to demonstrate 'look at how I won'; winning really doesn't mean anything in a scenario that's meant to show specific facets of gameplay and the emergent dynamics of them. For weird people who do think the actual escape-kills matter, well anybody could just cherry-pick the examples where that did happen, but it's not very informative about specifics. I excuse him his e-peen swinging about his LEGACY SURVIVOR because he demonstrates and explains what he's talking about, he understands it.
I'm watching his later videos now to see if he changed his mind about Legion and if so, why.
You should be impressed by the Freddy rework. It brought a ######### tier killer to mid to high tier. Not an easy task. Secondly, Montos tip about vaulting behind them works on braindead killers who don't catch on to what survivors do. Watch any killer with a brain play Legion, and you will never see a survivor run behind them while they vault and make them fall for it consistently. There was no chase counter play. Any good player with experience can tell you this.

Edit: If you watch already the first 0:25 secounds of your linked video (exhilration...), you can already listen how this YouTuber wastes no time to rant about the Legion.
That's nice... For people that have already made their opinion.
But tell me how someone can learn something from that video, besides to jump also on the nerf train?
I will watch the rest of the video, but I bet already yet, that this YouTuber is not able to tell 1 time!, someone something about the counterplay for the Legion. All he will do is show video-material that proves his point (at least in his opinion).
Should I be wrong, I will edit this posting again.
Of course he already has made his opinion clear in the first 25 seconds. Isn't that the ######### point? This arguement by you makes literally 0 sense.
If you're telling me there isn't anything to learn from that video, you're completely ignoring anything against Legion in it. It's pretty crystal clear and I'm pretty sure a 3 year old could grasp the idea that Scott was putting there. The fact he had 0 counter play.
"I will watch the rest of the video, but I bet already yet, that this YouTuber is not able to tell 1 time!, someone something about the counterplay for the Legion. All he will do is show video-material that proves his point "
I have 0 idea what you're trying to say here. But, if you're trying to say he won't point out the counter play, the entire video went over your head. Because the entire video was to illustrate that he had no counter play.
-
@Talmeer said:
Yeah, I had know from those crying streamers/YouTubers before.
The point is, the most of them do it because their audience want it so and it doesn't help anyone.
Not the Legion players of course, but also not the survivors. If you always cry at the dbd devs in awaiting that they nerf your problematic killer X, you give yourself never the chance to grow with your character.
Imo, everyone should prefer to stick to the YouTubers that make tutorials videos, because they are really helping.
But the named counterplay from you was also pretty common in higher ranks, to the pre patch times. It had help survivors sometimes in certain situations. It was of course not the only avaible counterplay.
Yes, most of them make videos explaining in detail why the Legion was busted just to please their audience. Not like they wanted to make a video to show their displeasure for a killer that ruined the fun for almost everyone in the game. You clearly didn't watch a single video, otherwise you'd realize that he has no counterplay. I don't blame you though, you think pre patch Legion had counterplay, so that says all i really need to know about your knowledge of the game. The "counterplay I named" was a joke, because it actually isn't counterplay. You could pull it off maybe once or twice, but the guy could mindlessly swing and vault back to stop you from doing that. Like, there was literally nothing you could do. You keep saying he has counterplay, but not once have you actually provided me any evidence or elaborated on what his counterplay was. If you want to watch any video to show how little counterplay he had, watch this one:

We both know that I could nothing write, that would persuade you and that's why I am done with helping survivors in the forums.
Nobody can help someone, if he does not want to be helped.
If you really like to see the counterplay, search at YouTube. The tutorial videos are not hard to find. Knowing that because I searched them one time by myself.
As said before, the Legion had problems, but please try to not overstate it.
Nice, so I searched up some videos and what I found was that his "counter" was to juke behind him when he vaults. Man, what reliable and good counter play. I also found these videos.
