Tbh i dont think it would raise that much the toxicity, before it was added on pc, teabagging and head nodding were already a thing. Plus it's just random people insulting you, it's amusing.

I want it. Just so after a game I can legitimately ask what my teammates were thinking when they couldn't get 1 gen done in a 5 minute chase. PS4 is brutal sometimes.
It is not a priority. It's one of those, "Maybe, if there's a way to do it well, someday" sort of things. It's not planned to be adding any time soon. There are plenty of other things we would rather do first.
Its a bit tedious to type on a controller to begin with. By the time you finish your message, everyone would’ve already left.
Maybe default responses you can click with a button for like “good game” or “that was a close match”. Overall I don’t think it’s worth bothering with.

Those are plugins that are packaged with the Unreal Engine. This is also why VR popped up a while back. Sometimes when you update the engine, they slip back in. You can find those exact same strings of text, word for word, in loads of other Unreal games.
You can use a keyboard to type messages on Xbox.
That would be the greatest mistake ever.
So, you basically want an option implemented so childish people can talk sh** about you.
@doitagain_ You can plug in a keyboard to your PS4 and it works just like a normal keyboard, at least for typing. I do it on FF14 all the time.
