Does he make a video every time he gets gen rushed? No hate to Tru3, his content is enjoyable but he really does complain a lot.
Nice guy, but he complains about literally everything. I used to like him a lot, but the man even complains when he's playing Ruin, PGTW, instasaw Billy lol

@Leonardo1ita said:
Look at this video , seriously. Only 270 seconds to repair all the gens
The ruin was destroyed, so survivors even wasted some to do that.
How can killers win if each survivor to die on the hook needs 120 seconds ( so a lot of time in each fase to repair the gens and then go to save)??
And what happens if the survivors, instead of looping, just pull down all the super safe pallets that a lot of maps have? And this isn't even the max gen speed.
He played a killer that has no tool for map pressure. Basically suicide. Bad killers need map pressure tools to make up for fast gens. That and some map fixes.

I'm down for rebalancing both Keys and Moris. Giving either side the ability to end the game early just does not sit right with me.
Game times are short enough as is. I agree, being able to end the game so early very frequently doesn't sit right.

They’re both fine imo
Personally I find them really unhealthy. They're so unfun for both sides. I hate going into nearly every game just to get tunneled, camped and moried. Same with killer, I hate playing well and very frequently having someone escape through the hatch because of a key. They're both too frequent for the power they give.

Serious question, but why does someone like Myers or Ghostface bring NOED into the game when they can obviously instadown while stalking? What’s the point of it?
I honestly feel it's their insecurity about their ability to win. The ones who run NOED are commonly the ones who get run around for 5 gens.

It's funny they say that because Billy requires add-ons to be a top 3 killer.
Who here hasn't versed one Billy without instasaw or turning add-ons.
Billy's a good killer but kind of overrated. Good survivors that are good at timing pallet drops or using windows at right moments pretty much force Billy to M1.
Without thoughs add-ons his chainsaw is very easy to dodge.
Billy does not need addons to be a top 3 killer. Watch a good Billy play, and you'll see what he can do. Billy doesn't need Ruin or even addons to be very good.

Blood hunts are so yesterday, we need Auric Cell hunts bro. I'd not mind having an Auric Cell Hunt even if its just 1-2 hunts per year. Give us 5-10 auric cells per match or something like that during these hunts so we can collect and hoard them! We're not all rich here an can afford full sets of cosmetics, I"m sure the Devs could pull this off if they did it right.
I'd be fine with maybe 1 cell per match for 2 days. You know, as a way to give some of the people who are like 50 cells away from a new outfit but don't want to buy 500 more for $7 some cells.

I agree it will discourage and punish them, but with that you're just making the game a longer version if what it is, it wont stop them from camping completely
Oh I know. But as long as it discourages camping and punishes it, I think it's a good change.
-
@VCDiamondFinder said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/663239#Comment_663239
Okay, there are you're mostly right but that just hurts survivors more than make the game balanced for the killer, especially when the survivors end up in a 3 gen situation. While the killer does need to learn to end chases correctly if you applied that logic to every aspect of killers we wouldn't be asking is they needed a buff or a better tutorial or something, sorry to say nothing will prevent camping unless you add a stun or a way for the survivor to physically move or teleport the killer, on paper is sounds like a win-win but in practice is has holes, but like I said not a horrible idea
This idea will discourage and punish camping harder than it does now. Gives survivors more time to do stuff when a guy is hooked and being camped and allows them extra gen time with the additional 10 seconds.
-
@VCDiamondFinder said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/662993#Comment_662993
If you increase gen times you extend the game longer which can either be really good or really bad for killers, if you're a killer that has trouble with ending chases it will just extend it longer and make it not much more fun, or if a survivor crew 3-gens themselves and the killer is good at patrolling it become impossible to even get them done without a sacrifice or 2, or a barindead killer, it's not a bad idea I'm just not sure how well it would work out
What? You're giving the killer more time meaning he has more of a chance to get the survivors. There is no scenario where more game time doesn't benefit the killer. If anything, the killer needs to learn how to chase correctly. More hook time would be necessary to prevent camping and punish it. It as a whole improves the game for both sides.
-
@VCDiamondFinder said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/631312#Comment_631312
And how do you do that?
Increase gen times by 20 seconds, increase hook times by 30 seconds.

so now lets talk about gf addons.
not gonna lie every single of them is so boring , expect maybe crouch movement speed is okay,
to bring the best out of ghostface i need take cd addons ,
but why his purple and ultra addons are so bad ,,, it feels like it was all rushed ,
why the camera is even ultra rare addon , it should be green tier , the 2nd ultra rare addon is even worse because alreasdy his stalking speed form lean is fast ,
why devs drop making fun addons , spirit has prayers , michael has some changing game play , wraith can be silent , and ghostface has nothing new to him with addons
is there even a chance he will ever get look into his addons .
personally i think as ultra rare there should be addon ,
1) that you can never break him out but downside is that you can only stalk from lean
2) while using nightshroud ur almost invisible like wraith but you make tornado sounds like 1st version of ghostface
those addons would bring exciting gameplay while also adding some downsides to gf
rare addons could be
1 ) he has longer cd and he stalk slower but he can teleport to lockers , he get many downside for map pressure tool
2) for all match he can only be in crouch mode at 90 % speed but he is always in night shroud , this addon would have nice synergy with faster movement croutch speed.
Those are the addons i expect for new killers . this game has 3 year experience , and the addons get worse and worse , legion , freddy ( block addons ...) ;/
The first addon is broken as #########

Good evening everybody,
with this post I would like to finally find a fix for the situation where the camera on ps4 spins too slow to actually follow a survivor properly.
Before someone comes out with a stale "git gud" argument, I will preface that I play on both ps4 and pc, and on ps4 I sometimes play with a mouse with a piranha split fish controller.
Following a 360ing survivor with a mouse, on both ps4 and pc, is absolutely simple and I may wiff a blow every 30 when using a mouse.
The problem is that to use a mouse on ps4 I need a table and another controller to hear the sound as the piranha doesn't have an audio jack so when I play a quick match I end up playing with a regular controller.
On a regular controller, the speed of a survivor spin when 360ing is simply too fast for the controller to follow.
The counterplay not to wiff is simply to chase the survivor, get close enough for either a quick tap or wait for their spin and strike. You can accomplish this stopping your movement why they spin so you hit them regardless or even moonwalk and then hit.
These solutions work really well but they do require time everytime you are chasing a survivor. Each hit could take 0.3/0.5 seconds more than on pc and time is a commodity killers do not have.
I cannot see any solutions to this to either increase the camera sensitivity on console or decrease the speed of spin on console.
The difference between mouse and controller needs to be looked at please.
Regards
Wait half a ######### second it isn't that hard

Framerate. You have to time the hit before it reaches the mark or you won't get it. Consoles still seize when changes occur, such as when the EGC begins, you become Exposed, or you take a hit while running. Watching PC vids and playing on console there is a slight gap in making that vault or getting hit on the other side.
I mean, I hit them pretty consistently. With a bit of practice they become pretty easy even on Console. I just don't understand why people at my rank have so much trouble hitting them.

Pc - can't work through ruin better find it fast or else the rest of the team aren't gonna be able to cope
Ps4 - wait there's a ruin? We just popped three gens in this hags face
Jokes aside ik ruin is a strong perk but it's the most rng perk in the game imo. Random spawn point and random effectiveness depending on how often skillshecks come up. Then again pop goes the weasel is a fair alternative to ruin and maybe I should run that instead. Can't wait for surge
You basically lose the game on PS4 If Ruin is up for more than 5 minutes. Ruin skill checks seem to be extremely hard for console users to hit for some reason lol

How is it so hard to get WGLF stacks if it's as easy to get BBQ stacks as you claim? If it's so easy to get BBQ stacks, that means the killer is getting hooks and carrying Survivors.
Maybe stop AFKing gens and play a little more altruistic.
Or maybe I can't exactly beat my teammates who camp hooks to get the save. Red rank survivors are extremely altruistic and sometimes there are only so many hooks that I can get to. Or maybe it could possibly be that protection hits are extremely inconsistent and don't register half the time. I get 4 stacks of BBQ nearly every time I play killer. Can't say the same for WGLF. I don't see it being a bad thing to make WGLF stacks as easily obtainable as BBQ stacks.
-
@Catbucket said:
WGLF does need to be adjusted, but it SHOULDNT be as good as BBQ. BBQ needed an extra kick, because killers really dont have perk room to be messing around with stuff that doesnt provide direct benefit, while survivors certainly do.
Why shouldn't killers and survivors both have a perk to reduce the grind. I don't see why killers get an easy 4 stacks but survivors have to have a hard time to get the 4 stacks. There's no reason for them to not be equal.
-
@ZeroDivide said:
I'd guess one in six matches that I escape from the match without ever being hooked, thus denying at least 1 stack of bbq. And between first down dc's and other survivors being stealthy I expect killers on average dont get 4 bbq stacks a match.
But getting WGLF stacks is easy, just bodyblock someone on the way to the hook. And if enough people do it not only do multiple of you get stacks, but you deny the killer a hook.
I'd expect if they wanted to make WGLF stronger (which I dont think it needs) you would be asking for an addition like.. Unhooking with WGLF no longer provides the killer with a sound notification.
Its 10x harder to get 4 WGLF stacks than it is to get 4 BBQ stacks.

That's because too many survivors are just clueless how to run from Spirit. When I'm Spirit, this is how most survivors act:
1) Run in straight obvious lines.
2) Run directly to a pallet or window when it's pretty obvious I am phase walking after them. Then vault the window or drop the pallet, which I predict and catch them on the other side.
3) Do absolutely nothing to hide their scratch marks, they just run around without a care in the world then I follow them and catch them.
4) Try to do really stupid stuff, like vault a pallet into my face when I do the stand still mind game, or run away such that I still have complete line of sight on them.
5) Try to loop pallets when I can just outplay them with phase walk. Instead you should just drop the pallet and play around it. It's way more effective than trying to loop the pallet.
Fact is most survivors are just morons when it comes to Spirit. I can immediately tell who will be an easy catch when I chase them.
The survivors that waste my time or escape a chase don't do any of this stuff. They actually make the smart and optimal decisions. They actually understand they need to predict what I'm doing and be unpredictable. And it works.
Spirit is not infallible. She has weakness, but like Nurse those weaknesses are not the same as other killers. You can outplay a Spirit, it's not easy but you can do it.
"The stand still mindgame" lmao

Iron Will counters that second hit, but perk dependancy ain't perfect. I kinda just accept that she gets the second hit, if she managed to get the first. At some point, for every killer, you lost to a killers power. When Nurse sees you, when Billy is right behind you in a deadzone, when Spirit got you injured, when Huntress made you loop a low tile... Its more about preventing that. She has to work pretty hard for the first hit though, unless people can hear footsteps (which i cant with my headset).
Yeah, but at least with someone like Billy you can either be outplayed by their saw skills, or you can prevent them from being able to use the saw. I feel like Billy is the perfect killer because he's strong, but has counterplay. With Spirit, you basically just die if you're injured. And without a perk, there is literally nothing you can do about it. I feel like the only change needed is either no collision in phase, and maybe make tracking slightly more difficult when in phase, or just upping the values of phase (increased speed, maybe make cooldown a bit less, etc) but making the sound directional. I feel like it would just be nice to give her some actual reliable counter play aside from a specific perk. But, this should all happen once gen times are increased a little.

Maybe let Spirit work harder for the first hit. Since the second hit is free without Iron Will, get used to not get hit in the first palce, then she has no sound to follow and is a worse killer in the chase at 110%.
Its like reverse Wraith who gets a free first hit

Yes, that is where Spirit actually has some counter play. When you aren't injured. I'm saying that there should also be counterplay for when you do get injured. Because, like I said before, once you're hit there is nothing you can do but hope they're deaf.

Guessing routes, following scratchmarks, hearing footsteps, seeing grass moving is a different kind of skill. Unless you have allhearing headphones, there is a lot of guess involved too with pretty small margins for error without addons.
It depends on the survivor too though, some are good with stealth and mindgames, others are not. If you know what Spirit wants to do, you can fool her. I think she is fine, she is balancedly broken.
Hearing someone grunting and being able to use your ears isn't skill. It's literally just a guessing game where skill becomes irrelevant for both sides. If you play a Spirit without Iron Will, there is literally nothing you can do except hope the Spirit has dollar Store headphones and old man hearing.

His power hurts him more than it helps him. Tunneling is a part of the game, whether you like it or not. Legion, especially on console, is hard to use. People abuse the hell out of 360'ing on console because they know Killers play at 25 FPS and Survivors play at ~45. Everytime you activate FF the FPS drops even more, making EVEN harder to land the hit.
I mean, I personally don't find it too hard to hit people in Frenzy. Much better to have a penalty for missing than to be able to swing like a madman and have 15 chances to hit someone imo
-

I doubt that my opinion is unpopular and she is to 100% not wrong.
I had in my endgame chats many survivors that were happy to play against the Legion and I have see many Legion mains that were happy with the pre patch Legion.
And I highly assume that I have met in my endgame chats more survivors as we would find in the nerf threads here. Especially if we talk about the nerf threads in the steam forums, since some Legion haters have push there, their opinion with namechanging tactics.
Luckily for me, I could watch them, because everytime they changed their names, there names got also changed in old forum threads and I just needed to look then in a old thread, if I have a new forum member for me, or a name changer and let us say... Some have really try to push negative comments with the help of name changing nearly every day. I have even make with one of those guys a joke about that in the steam forums.
Besides the design of the pre patch Legion was nearly perfect. They have just 3 errors made. 2 have lead to exploits. 1 to op addons. All 3 of those things should not happen.
And sorry... If you were 1 of the survivors, that have found no counterplay against the pre patch Legion without addons, then you was just bad at it. It's a fact. Tutorial videos on YouTube show that there was counterplay.
Of course not against Legion's with op addons, but not every Legion has run around with those, so don't treat all of us, as would have everyone use them.
Besides. A character should make fun for the guy who is playing this character and did you really think it makes "fun", to be stunned just because you or a survivor has struggeld with a lag?
Did you think it makes fun to have a castrated special abilitie? Did you think all those drawbacks on frenzy make fun?
There is a reason why devs in other games usually do everything in their force, to build no drawbacks in, or to let drawbacks not look like drawbacks, because they make no fun for the guy who is playing their game.
The current Legion is not innotative and she makes no fun for people that have exactly look out for a killer like the pre patch Legion. Most of them have even join dbd just because of this killer.
"It turned chases into wait for power > use power > repeat- there was no skill involved, you didn't need to outplay the other person, you just ran out the clock until you got a guaranteed down."
This is exactly why pre patch Legion should and never will come back. No matter how many times you say it, there was no counter play. There was not a single thing you could do about his Frenzy. There was no skill involved, and it made it so even a bad player could down a superior survivor player in a predetermined amount of time.

Ok, this is just my opinion, I really believe, as this is a HORROR game, the game should base it's performance on the killers having a higher average than survivors, I play both sides, and do good on both, but yes, it feels like survivors ain't afraid of KILLERS, and that's contrary of what a surviving game should feel like.
I want to feel the wrath of being a killer, and I want to be afraid of being in a chase when being a survivor, but I'm afraid that, right now, the game makes me feel like a bully when I'm a survivor (quite fun though) and as a cat hunting a mouse (Tom and Jerry reference) when I'm killer (even when I usually get 4/4, t-baggers are the proof that a killer ain't someone to be afraid of)
This game just isn't scary after a certain point. I don't feel like any amount of power the killers have will change that.

Nope, this is often very common survivor excuse. There's only 1 killer and 4 survivors, Killers can only be in one place at once and they can only chase one survivor at a time. There's nothing he could of done better. It's why most people agree that 80% killers have no chance to win. This isn't even looping problem. There was hardly any looping in that game(We didn't even see killer shack side of the map), It's just that the game speed is too fast for killer and if you face semi-decent survivors whether in group or just randoms, you lose. it's just how it is. I always found it weird how killers need to use all these extremely optimized perks and add-on and yet when you play survivor, you can play with whatever you want and still win, even 1vs1 killer in some odd cases. When survivors using optimal stuff, they're more nuts then the power-role.
The guy used PGTW on a gen that had nobody and was barely even touched when he could have went back and used it on the gen that was 90% with 2 survivors on it. It cost him a gen and probably 1-2 more kills.
-
His biggest mistake was losing the 3 gen. He should have pressured them off it and used PGTW.
