Nothing has changed because nothing has changed. The same stuff is driving matches years later. Same perks, same tactics. And any effort to shift that is met with online outrage. So people will keep being mad but they'll also stop any progress that could make change.

And yeah you're definitely not allowed to have fun. If you express that sentiment you are clearly low MMR, bad at the game, throwing, or lying. Misery very much loves company in this community. There are some people who never do anything but whine and the tribalism has been off the charts lately.

Oh lmao. So same as it was 6 years ago. Perfect.

Built to last is a better version of streetwise outside of SWF shenanigans.

Now to be fair, streetwise isn't exactly a great perk. But still.

Hex: Blood Favor is much weaker than it sounds. The timing is awful for the effect to the point of almost completely killing the perk.

Basically, it's an on-hit effect. Which means in order to trigger it at a pallet loop, you need to have already mindgamed the loop anyways. So by the time it can help you with the loop you no longer need it. And even if you still want the effect they just got a speed boost, which they should be using to get to another tile anyways. So it's never blocking a pallet that a Survivor would actually want to drop in the first place outside of very niche situations.

As for Dragons rage. While it's impossible for a perk like this to be bad with its numbers, it's still weaker than it looks.

Basically, it's comparable to MYC. The difference between the 2 perks are that Dragons Rage has a longer cooldown and is more avoidable but has a tracking effect, can be used at close range, and avoiding the effect gives you stall power.

Now those tradeoffs aren't awful by any means. But they are a very real tradeoff that shouldn't be underestimated. That Survivors can easily chose not to touch the gen for a bit while they practically HAVE to unhook a hooked Survivors eventually is a big deal. The effect needs to be 60 seconds because they aren't being chased the second the gen is tapped (unlike with a ghostface mark for example). So the Killer needs to have enough time to reach the Survivor and then still have time to chase them. Same reasoning as with MYC.

How Is Built To Last better? You may get few more uses out of an item but Streetwise also affects nearby Survivors, I'll take Streetwise over Built To Last imo. The rest you kinda explained things I didn't know, and glad you explained, and things I understand. But outside of SWF, people don't have to unhook Survivors, and unfortunately not all the time do they unhook them.

Well I can tell that you are obviously a survivor main so I'll tell you what I, as a killer main think about them. Undying is the only perk worth running since the other two can easily be countered. Ruin will be used with it the most because we can finally have it forlonger than 2 minutes. When survivors realize that ruin is in play they'll get rid of it pretty quickly. Other Hex perks won't work with it because they lose all tokens when destroyed and by the time when the killer manages to regain those tokens he'll lose it anyway because survivors destroyed the last totem already. No, the new perks aren't op and I'm happy that killers have a slight chance of also having fun while playing in the red ranks with all those toxic survivors.

    Killers have feelings too :(

Not really, I enjoy playing Killer and Survivor and spend a bunch of time on both sides. Undying can be used with plenty of Hex perks, NOED, Haunted Grounds (maybe), Ruin, Third Seal, Thrill. So its gonna be very useful. Blood Favour is gonna kill new players or people who aren't that good at loopong the killer, its not the greatest perk, but I can see it either being great or hated. Dragons Grip can be mixed with a couple different perks and becoming a pain, especially when you don't know if they are running it, on their own they aren't OP, but people seem to forget putting them in certain builds will almost 100% change the game. I assume you mean Survivors that gen rush, again, what do you expect? The main goal is to escape, you do gens to escape, is just the truth, you can't change it unless you add a different way to get the exit gates going. Since you wanna say I main Survivor let me say what we think, if you complain about us doing the only objective and using the only way we have to defend ourselves, then I am genuinely confused what you want Survivors to do.

Wait whats wrong with "Built to last"? That perk is pretty damn good. And while Desperate measures isn't insane its not a bad perk like an alternative to botany knowledge, which is used a lot. Though I will say Visionary (besides on indoor maps) is a newbie perk on a DLC char, thats pretty dumb.

And while Hex: undying has high potential, the others are a lot easier to counter. Dragons grip either repair the gen and then evade/loop/hide from the killer for the remaining duration for exposed, or dont touch the gen for 30 seconds after you find out that the killer has it. After those 30 seconds it will go on an 80 seconds cd before it can be used again. Hex: Blood Favor, litterally just run away from that tile after getting hit. You shouldnt loop the same area after geting hit, you should use it to gain distance.

Whats wrong with Build To Last? It works once perk trial, and only works if you use an item enough to deplete it, and on most items its almost useless (ie common medkits, some toolboxes, common flashlights) so I dont see many people using it unless they go into a game with a very nice item with good addons.

Desperate Measures is kinda like Botany and No One Left Behind mixed together, I see people using it for altruism builds but thats about it.

Visionary is useless unless you have a hard time finding gens, thats it.

    Hex: Undying I agree.

Hex: Blood Favour is gonna be a perk that is gonna frustrate newer players and add on another level of pallet looping, which I think is stupid since the only way to counter it is to not use pallets once you know the Killer has this and use only Windows. It just seems to me the Devs are trying to make the Killers happy by slowly making Survivors play a more stealthy gameplay, which is what made Friday The 13th such a bad game. Just my opinion though, so take it with a grain of salt.

And Dragons Grip I dont have much of a problem with, I just think the duration should be 45 seconds instead of 60, not everybody is great at running Killers around for a whole minute.

It might be me but it seems like you expect players to know where all the pallets on the map are or that kind of thing.

What I am stating, and it is a fact, that cleansing Totems is also an objective. I suggest that the DEV always assumed that they would be a higher priority, but the META proved otherwise. They are simply making sure that won't continue to be the case.

They aren't in the meta and being a big concern because besides perks they do nothing, if they added like more blood points or something for doing a totem then people would do it. But even with the group I play with nobody touches a totem, I can agree its a thing they should include more of a reason to do totems, but as it stands most people ignore them because they don't surve a purpose for opening then exit gates.

  • @Moundshroud said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1579935#Comment_1579935

Please do not put words in my mouth. It is rude and a cheap rhetorical trick. I, at no time, said the new Perks were weak. I said, it is too early for anyone to be saying they are OP. Until they are fully in play, in their final form, and we see a few months of their use, nobody really has any idea. What I suggested is that the DEV would not be creating Perks which heavily increase the need to do Bones, and directly impede the Gen-Rush unless they felt it was necessary. My own view is that the new Perks are quite effective at doing just that. Undying is one more way to ensure that high risk (and high yield) Hexes last a bit longer. Dragon Touch directly impedes the Gen-Rush. Combining Undying with things like Ruin and Thrill of the Hunt makes it almost imperative that people consider Bones as important as Generators. To say these new Perks will change the entire Meta is not an understatement. It will take the dedicated Players perhaps two weeks at most to unlock them for their other Killers. People need to start working doing Bones with more dedication "right now" and working out some alternative tactics to merely doing the Gen-Rush at maniac speed.

Rude? You said said I'm playing a broken record and came at me I play both sides and love playing both. You are just saying that perks shouldn't be considered a problem until people play with them for a few months, the purpose of the PTB is to fix any issues with those perks or maps or new Survivors/Killers, not fix them months down the road. And I agree the devs are doing this for a reason, I am saying its because people will never be happy with the Killers until they can 4K almost every game. Combining Thrill and Undying? With Killer who can cross the map quickly with make it difficult to do Hexs but will make rushing them a priority. You said people should focus on something other then gens, yet doing the gens are the only way to escape (besides hatch) and you think Survivors doing the objective is a bad thing? If anything you've made your point unclear to me, it sounds like you think Survivors shouldn't do gens right away to escape but instead give the Killer as much time as possible to get them. My point is not all 4 Survivors should escape every game, but not every Killer main needs to 4k, which I feel the Devs are gearing this new chapeter towards Killers getting stronger and people will still complain about Killers, and I mean both sides.

  • @NekoGamerX said:

don't think these perk going to change much tbh.

Really? I feel these perks can mix and match with most builds, we are probably gonna see these perks get used quite a bit for a while.

  • @Yamaoka said:

Which of his perks are concering and why? I really don't think I will ever use any of the Blight's perks to be honest.

And that perfectly fine, these perks seem like they are for certain players, but I say if you can get them you should try them out with other perks. If you go up to the first few comments you can see what issues I have, I dont think they are bad perks, I just feel they might need tweaking in some way eventually. If you would like I can explain each more in depth if you'd like.

  • @Moundshroud said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/186606/with-the-blight-coming-out-are-killers-too-strong

Give me a break. Blight isn't even OUT yet and you are playing this broken record? The reason Blight (and his Perks) are coming is because things have shifted in a measurable way toward Survivors. A good deal of this is the ever increasing use of the SWF and Gen-Rush. You have to remember that the DEV are privy to statistics that we are not. If they are designing these Perks, it is to address an issue. But at the very least, let's get those things out and in use before we call them OP.

1.) In case you haven't noticed he is supposed to come out next month, I made this as a way to discuss what people think since I don't talk to many people who have opsoing views and like hearing all opinions

2.) I don't know what you think developers do, not all the time do they add something is it because of an issues, sometimes its because of new, exciting content, or to try and make the player base happy. In this case I feel its because of the fan base thinking Killers will never be able to compete with survivors.

3.) They are in use right now, thats what the PTB is for, on paper they seem strong, thats what I said and will say. I get they aren't designed to 1 shot like most Killers want them too, but don't act like these are weak please.

  • @Waffleyumboy said:

Nah. Besides, can they ever be?

Uhhh yeah? Killers could end up getting 4ks every game and ruining the gameplay for survivors. Honestly I feel with the new 8 perks are 1 sided, but also the Killers new perks seem like a way to buff Killers without people complaining about Survivor perks being just as strong.

  • @SCP_FOR_DBD said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1577751#Comment_1577751

Thats true, Undying could be a real pain when paired with other perks. Dragons Grip is definitely good, especially with something like Pop or Overcharge, but I don't think its anything meta defining. I'm not sure about Blood Favor yet, I could see it being used to gain plenty of cheeky hits, but I could also see myself countering it by holding W as a Survivor. I think the fact its a hex with a cooldown will keep it back.

I Definitely don't think these perks will take over the meta, but it would tweak it, out of the 3 Blood Favour is definitely the weak one, with windows being a thing I can see Survivors having a chance, but in the open it could change loops. The cooldown is definitely nice and will keep it under the radar compared to NOED, Ruin, etc. Just looking at these perks make me think the Survivors could use a small touch up, but after looking at the new Survivor perks, I think they either ran out of ideas or are too worried about making the Killers perks the best they can considering the community outcry or balancing.

  • @SCP_FOR_DBD said:

Depends on the killer mate. I think Spirit and Freddy are too strong, but I'll never complain about Trapper and Clown. I don't think the perks are too strong either. Hex: Undying is good, not much wrong with it. Dragons Grip has a cooldown and requires you to kick the gen, its also worthless if the survivor is injured. Hex: Blood Favor has a cooldown and is a hex and there are rarely pallets you'd use in 16 meters.

I agree with Killers being in a good place, but Hex: Undying I can see being really strong if paired with something like Hex: NOED or Hex: Haunted Grounds, ect. I like Dragon's Grip so the Killers can have a better handle on the Gens and it could stop the Gen Rush, but I feel the 60 seconds if the Exposed Status is a bit extreme, and endgame could be a game changer with Hex: NOED, lastly Hex: Blood Favour seems like a very annoying perk, it may not seem like it but a lot of times when a Survivor is hit they are around palates and that could make Survivors life hell, and pairing that with Hex: Undying in my eyes could be a problem more than a few times. I just overall think the perks are a bit strong when paired with other strong perks and could change the game completely.

  • @Emeal said:

no. basically Killers have been saying this exact same sentence since forever, and now Killers are finally getting perks that challenge the meta and survivors are pissing their pants. Good. the meta must die!

What meta? And Killers will complain about not being strong enough until they can 4k in their sleep. At this point I feel the perks for Killers are way too targeted at taking away how the Survivors play the game, which isn't bad, but I feel if this line of Killer perks without having fair Survivor perks keeps up, the Killers will be way too strong.

Yeah, almost every time she phases, I just slowly walk away or retrack my scratch marks for an easy evade. Even without using iron will and playing in red ranks. She's overall never been the same since the last nerf.

Yeah? But overall her map presence is insane, being able to cross the map at an insane speed and see scratch marks, as well as being able to yoink people off gens at any given moment gives her a good amount of pressure, and with the right perks she can be unstoppable, she' rated S-tier or A-tier for a reason.

Streamers/youtubers in general only upload games where they win.

You can go and watch stream of anyone that mostly play killer at high rank and they in general tell you exactly what causes them to win. Usually being: Survivors are just lazy/not do gens.

Okay, you don't watch a lot of DBD do you? Honestly replying to you hurts my head, you don't make sense when you reply and then confuse people, they upload videos they think are entertaining, not only wins but okay bud

How would I fix it? I would make killers powerful enough to stand an even chance against a swf. Let the solos git gud like everyone else. BHVR, stop handing out participation trophies and let the new comers learn.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1184532#Comment_1184532

The problem with alternative objectives is the survivors can choose to ignore those. I've seen people waste zero time looking for totems unless they see DH. I've mostly seen competent survivors searching for chests when the gates are open. I've seen survivors repair gens injured just to get adren to pop. If the survivors decide to rush the gens, the gens get rushed. Except for pgtw not much else really slows down the gens. Ruin is garbage now, intervention only works in the beginning, surge is meh, thrilling tremors blocks gens "not" being worked on(sounds like it should have been the other way around) OC only works on newbs, lullaby is useless until you get 5 stacks and by then gens are either done or its cleansed.

The survivors hold all the power provided they know how to use it. Which is not what this game should be.

But what does that mean? You can't expect people to enjoy the game if you make all killers strong enough to 4k a talented, rank 1 SWF group, it makes the game boring and survivor mains won't play the game anymore unless they put 1000s of hours into the game or sacrifice their teammates

Who said swf? Its not a lie, Otzdarva played against 4 good players and he couldn't kill no one and the first hook was at 2 gens (I'm sure that, no matter who plays against 4 good players, the killer will lose). So pls stop being a cry baby survivor

Ss Noob3? Monto? Tyde? How do they get 4k's with meme builds at rank 1 one?

  • @ZaKzan said:

This game is so heavily survivor sided, you have to legitimately be delusional to see otherwise. It's not even an opinion. The devs even said it themselves. They balance the game for new survivors, people that get downed within 20 seconds of a killer finding them. Survivor perks cannot be countered by killers. There are enough pallets in each game to not even need to loop, you can run to a pallet, throw it early, then run to the next pallet and by the time 5 gens are done you will have pallets left over, this doesn't even take into account windows. A large portion of maps have an insane structure in the middle that is full of pallets / infinite windows. A good 50-60% of pallets in any map need to be broken, unless the survivor is stupid and just runs off without playing the tile.

Ideally, survivors should be about 1/4 of a killer in strength at their best. We see good survivors able to hold off good killers long enough for their teammates to do all the gens. Individually, survivors are quite close to the power of a killer, they're closer to 1/2 - 3/4 the power of a killer. You even see this reflected in SWF groups where they just dominate the killer, no matter how good the killer is.

If you are a survivor player and you cannot consistently run killers for 2-3 gens, that is actually a problem with you. You still need to develop more skill and knowledge of the game, the killer is not the power role in DBD, survivors are. There are two killers whose power levels are close to 4 times that of individual survivors, those two killers are spirit and billy. With the way the game is set up, a 4v1, you are not supposed to 1v1 the killer as a survivor, and the problem is that survivors are actually able to do this.

So what do you suggest they do to fix it?

  • @theArashi said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1183836#Comment_1183836

3 minutes?! What!? What kind of game are you playing where survivor take 3 minutes to finish a gen?! Can I get your lobbies?

Generator takes 80 seconds to finish without skillcheck or any other boosters. Most of the time survivor spawn within 12 m radius from the gen so they just run up to it and hold m1 so from the start to gens popping it should be around 90 seconds. Crossing the map can take up to 20-30 seconds depending on layout then usual chase starts.

I don't know if you are getting survivors that don't know how to loop or just wait at the pallet for an easy hits but I usually get survivor that loops pretty well and every time they get a bit of headstart by either bad mindgame or pallet drop or anything they go to other loop and essentially wasting even more time.

Keep in mind that I'm talking about survivors that are at least semi-decent at the game and not potatoes that should stay at yellow ranks forever as they always get destroyed regardless of what killer is being used.

I... I don't know how to respond to you when you ignore what I say and get whiney so I just won't respond to you anymore

It does require you to do something in at least 2 categories. If you get camped or genrush you probably won't pip. Other then that it's up to you.

I'm constantly running nonsensical builds with MoM or whatever challange requires me to and I'm somehow staying at red ranks. I think I'm at rank 2 and I'm pretty terrible at mindgames and in general I don't run exhaustion perks.

I think you're either not as god-like as you think you are or you're just focusing on these rare games when you get destroyed by the killer as survivor and completely ignore games when you lose playing as killer.

What? My guy I safety pip with one kill as killer most times, as survivor I get screwed by teammates because I can't talk to them or they aren't that good. As killer I only need to worry about downs and getting kills, even as legion I still get easy games or 1 survivor escapes. So I am confused, are you saying I am bad because I don't get a gold in every category

Lucky if you get hatch because I swear every killer has these locations memorized and Seems like they hook the last guy right next to it somehow every single time 😡

I feel that on a personal level, but I learned a bit from watching Noob3 and I play with another friend who is pretty good (but dosen't take the game seriously) and i goes alright

Thank you, i understand your opinion now. Because you are playing in green and purple (survivor solo queue not swf?) you feel that the game is pretty balanced.

You also mentioned that you played killer in brown ranks recently. You got a couple of 4ks and worked your way up a bit.

The reason many people, especially red rank players, are disagreeing with you is that the game is red ranks is basically the inverted version of brown ranks. Survivors dominate killers very often and only a few killers are able to vs an experienced swf team.

I feel I should mention, if I didn't, that because of matchmaking I have faced red and purple ranks lately at rank 17 and didn't have a single issue. and most of the time I play with one friend and that is it, or I play with a few friends who just started to help them out and teach them the game. I get people saying I don't have the right to complain since I haven't been at rank 1 every season, but I have faced red rank players before

Unless your a meta kiler the survivors can loop you for 3 gens easy. 3/5s of their objective is completed before the killer gets 1/12. If they got headsets you can chase someone else, 1 perosn is on a gen, 1 makes the save+heal then they both duo a gen. Match ends in 4 mins. If the survivors know what they are doing and are coordinated the killer is at a severe disadvantage.

So you're legit saying what I am already saying, if they are in a 4 stack and playing together then it's difficult, but what do you think would help fix it?

Now where did this teachable part come in? Because based off of that then nobody would be able to get the adept achievments for the killers as you need a merceless killer.

Heck I'm reading that statement as any buff idea is absurd or stupid in your eyes. People are allowed to express they're opinions as you are but I find this absurd and petty.

Hey I'm fine talking about what people think would balance they game, in their opinion, but so far nobody has suggested anything, they say killers need a buff and when I say I think they are wrong they try to prove a point and not suggest a way to buff them, if you take it as petty and absurd then go ahead my guy, I'm not saying anybody is stupid for having an opinion that is valid, but telling me that a killer should get 3k or 4k every game is absurd and stupid, and saying a killer should 4k with only their 3 teachable is stupid and absurd. But you make a point, I probably could've worded that better, that's my fault

Its piss easy? What? My guy I've had games where I do 2 gens and heal 2 teammates and I never see the killer and dont pip, I've had games where the killer is on me the entire game and dont pip, playing survivor requires you to save teammates, do gens and run the killer around and even then if you go down once you get a max of 1 pip

You also didnt read, you said by the time you cross the map to down a survivor 3 gens are done, personally never had that happen on survivor or killer. I suggested if you are having that issue you should get a survivor closer to you and if take you 3 minutes to get 1 survivor on his 1st hook you need to play Killer and get better

  • @EvilJoshy said:

I think the problem is it's not the killer's skill, it's the survivor's skill that determines the outcome. The game is designed to depend on one side making a mistake. If both the killer and survivor's play well, the survivors will win because there is 4 of them. No killer can pressure all 4 at the same time.

And how many times do you see 4 survivors hit all skill checks, evade the killer, and take no hits? Cause I've never seen that, unless you face a 4 stack SWF it's almost impossible to have 4 escape without the killer playing like a bot or missing every hit

(In this assymetrical game the norm is for one side to win the other must lose, with some exceptions) It just doesn't make sense to me, if killers would be 4k'ing every time I presume there would be more red rank killers than red rank survivors which certainly isn't the case.

I think he means its more Killer sided in most games, and it is but isnt, honestly I feel killers are strong, and some are kinda lacking that 1 perk or tweak to make them fun to play, I love playing Legion but I feel it's useless to use the power anymore besides to catch up to a survivor

On which rank are you playing if i may ask? I'm just curious, because the game is really balanced in any ranks except red and brown.

No problem, om Killer I've gotten to rank 10, and survivor I got to rank 8, most of the time I quit playing killer at that rank because I get bored, a few days ago I started playing Killer again and got a couple 4Ks in a row, but that was at rank 20-17, the weird part is sometimes I end up against purple and red ranks for some reason? Maybe it's a bug in matchmaking?

sadly some people wont stop complaning untill survivor will die when they look at them

That's how I feel most killer mains are, I feel if Killers get buff to the point where anybody can 3k or 4k at rank 1, that the game with die because it wont be fun to play survivor

The whole game needs a buff.

    How so?

The game is no where near to be like that. 4 good survivors can manage to all escape against a good (player) killer that is not Nurse or spirit, the only killer that possibly 4K is nurse, still hard tho. So pls stop saying that the weaker role doesn't need buffs

I feel you're comparing a good player to a 4 stack SWF, which is possible, but most times its duo and 2 solos, or 4 solos that dont play together and get down, it's usually 1 guy that does all if not most of the work, what il saying is that a good player would be able to stand up to a group of 4 randoms. To say no killer can 4k is a flat out lie

  • How so? Because I feel the game shouldn't have a killer 4K every game or 3K every game for it to be balanced? At this moment I think it needs but fixes and some map changes, and it's good

No add ons, teachable perks only bubba. Play him hows he's meant to be. Enjoy the match.

If you think killers need to be buffed to the point where they can 4K with only teachable and no addons then you're crazy my guy, if that were the case then you shouldn't be able to mix perks and have addons. Addons and other perks are meant to help you play better and improve, the teachable are supposed to give you some nice starting perks while you just start playing killer

You don't see the games imbalances at low ranks. At low ranks the survivors are complete potatoes and make killers look stronger than they are. Rank 1 is where you start to see the issues.

So are you saying the game should be balanced for rank 1 but 2-20 should be on their own? Because you act like being around rank 5-10 means nothing, I've faced rank 5 killers and survivors and had no issues killing the survivors, but trying to survive is a little difficult

  • @Brucecastro81 said:

Actually, every killer needs a nerf, mainly Legion and Haddonfield should be the only playabe map. Perfectly balanced.

    You're on crack

Oh sorry, mainly was talking about Gen speeds.

Give something else to do for survivors. Would also make the "not getting chased" part interesting!

Ohhh my bad, I like that idea but bot wure what could be a good way to have survivors do more then gens

Imagine that situation. You are clown and you start in the corner of a map like for example Temple of Purigation. You cross antire map to reach your first survivor.

Chase starts for a single survivor that left the gen that's done in 30-40% already. You chase him for let's say 40 seconds because they somehow ran out of loops. 3 gens pop and 1 other is almost half way done.

How to apply pressure from this point on? You can pop the gen nobody is working on or use it on other gens.

And don't try to say that I should just use other killers. Most don't have 1 shot ability or map traversing power.

If you cross the entire map to find 1 survivor you should work on being able to actually find one in under a minute, most if not all killer have a way to damage and stop/slow down loops, if you think killers need a buff because of a bad spawn and you're inability to find a survivor before 3 gents get popped then sorry to say no buff is gonna help, and I'm not saying okay a different killer, I play Legion so I feel it

Sure, Clown can stop looping. So can Freddy, who can teleport around the map and delay Survivors. So can Doctor, who can easily find hiding Survivors. So can Nurse, who makes walls irrelevant. So can Spirit, who can make any loop unsafe and mindgame Survivors. So can Hag/Trapper, and their traps are far more versatile than just for stopping loops. So can Deathslinger, and he's got a neat hat.

Many other Killers have anti-loop tools. Most of them either have better ones, or other tools on top of an anti-looping ability.

As for LF a "worse version of Billy" is kind of misplaced. He sacrifices all of the map pressure (which is the best part of Billy) for slightly "better" instant downing that takes longer to actually pull off. Against solid Survivors who know how to pressure gens, you cannot put up a fight as Leatherface. I can when playing Killers like Trapper, but not as Bubba.

Okay that's where I disagree, his strength is his chainsaw and perks, running BBQ makes the game that must harder, plus he has an insta down, what more do you want him to have? If you decrease the time after downing a survivor then you take out what I assume is a throwback to the movies, and make it almost impossible to save that survivor since his chainsaw can do major damage to survivors who play like a medic. Gen rushing can be delayed and almost stopped in some cases with the perks the killers have now, and with toolboxes being nerfed of makes rushing gens harder. Personally, playing against LF that knows what they are doing makes the match hard, he has good base perks, and a insta down, plus is decent speed. I just dont see how he needs a buff because people choose to play a killer that takes no skill and not LF

You should think harder, I can name two major candidates.

Clown is, well. Not in an ideal state. He can stop loops. That's... That's it.

Leatherface is good at instadowning and that's it.

All Killers can perform well under the right circumstances, because the basic M1 Killer setup can still wipe a Survivor team that makes too many mistakes, but some Killers very clearly require Survivors to make too many mistakes to perform well. LF and Clown make me think of Demogorgon, Freddy and Pig who make up for an eeeh ability with supplementary powers that help them get results, but LF and Clown are missing said supplementary powers.

Clown I can kinda see, but honestly him being able to stop looping for the most part is really good, again I feel his perks (besides bamboozled) need tweaking and his power as well, but nothing major that would break him, and talked about last post above this one

  • @Ghoste said:

Leatherface needs a buff. He's literally a worse Hillbilly. He even has mostly the same add-ons.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies were too awesome for Bubba to be so copy-pasted and boring.

I feel that, but honestly he probably needs just a speed buff or something minor, if played correctly he can be a worse version of the Billy but still be pretty strong

It's every map. You can't hear footsteps most of the time. Sometimes people who don't have iron will make no injured noises until they crouch. Sometimes people make injured noises, but it's blocked by the tiniest little wall. Scratch marks also seem more broken than before.

The sounds in DbD are the absolute most inconsistent and disorienting they've ever been. They're as broken as Warzone.

Now's not the time to be losing my ######### over this as the quarantine stuff is going on and all, but Jesus Christ. This is ridiculous, and all anyone ever wants to do is talk about generic balance issues and make bait threads. That's even more irritating honestly.

I guess so, I usually play with music on so it doesnt bother me as much, but I feel the devs should look into it

  • @Milo said:

    You're right.

    Survivors should get nerfed.

I dont agree, survivor requires teamwork or a good player who can loop the killer, most of the time playing solo or duo makes the game so hard against a good killer, I feel they are good
