They weren’t running Whispers
Maybe they saw a gen in progress and looked around to find a survivor. Maybe you're hiding in too predictable spots.
-
You should never start crawling before you're fully recovered. It is still on the survivors, but for different reasons than you're saying.
-
Whispers would beat out all of that.

Nobody cares about how hard of a time you are having with camping bud. If you don't want to hit the hooked survivor practice using your mouse better.
If you'd read anything I said or played the game for yourself, you should know it's not that simple. And yeah, I have been camping, which any sane person would do when the exits are powered and you have someone on hook. Not doing so would be giving them a free escape.
-
We CAN just go back to 2 protection hits instead of 3. Old Mettle was only as strong as it was because instaheals existed.

I don't know anyone who likes playing against Legion, Slinger or Clown so...Idk lmao. The survivors you're playing against are probably sick of these killers and just don't wanna play against them, they're played a lot. So this is what they do instead of DCing because that would give them a penalty.
I think it's the opposite. They know how low tier those killers are, so when they're getting beat by them, they get all entitled and DC.
-
That should be a thing already. I'm mad that Surge has a long cooldown, but honestly I'd keep it as a trade-off if it meant Surge would activate from any down, not just ones from a basic attack.
-
I think most of the issues for killer in this game have to do with the low fov. I'll probably make a post on it in the future. Survivors being unseeable if they crouch in front of you, it's just ridiculous.
-
I agree it should be a feature. I guess for now we have to rely on recorded matches and excel spreadsheets if we want that info.
-
That tile looks kind of cool. I'd like it back.
-
I agree that the clock should be rng like the Pig's jigsaw boxes, rather than the furthest possible one by default. He doesn't need to be slowed while placing snares at loops, but maybe they could just take a second to spawn in instead of being immediate.
-
2 pallets AND 2 windows at jungle gyms, pallet and window vacuuming, no bloodlust, no entity blocker? I don't know how survivors ever went down.
-
Just play the Darby Younger theme.
-
That's none of our business, now is it?

Relly?? because they mostly DC after I vault the fence. So that could be true, but why do they not just vault the fence too?
Because killers do it slower and by the time they catch you after having the window entity blocked and everything, they've lost the game because 4 gens have been done.

Where did I say I have a problem with Blight? I literally said he's the one thing that keeps me from believing the devs want to pummel Killers into the earth because he is just that strong. Like, stronger than Spirit strong—assuming neither Killer uses addons, at the very least.
I didn't know what you were trying to say in your comment. I thought you said he was weak.

Judging by the colossal meme that was this patch's Perk changes and the ongoing addition of new god loops and infinites via breakable walls, the only thing that stops me from disagreeing with you is the fact that Blight exists.
You got a problem with Blight? Play a different killer.

It's a bug BHVR looks into it.
Why can't they have small bugs every now and then? They're always game breaking and beyond belief!
-
I've been asking for this. There's no reason that ranked should be the only option, not this far into a game's lifetime.
-
Stay out of line of sight, wiggle when he's aiming at you, drop the pallet early when you're injured.
-
You have to down people quick and/or keep a tight leash on the gens. If that means forcing 2nd stage, tunneling or slugging, then do it.
-
I also disagree with the stealth playstyle. Chases are more skillful. Speaking of which, if a teammate is dead before you've been chased once, it's on you. Learn to tank a chase, even if you're not a stealth player. Because when you get the killer to hook everyone twice before anyone is dead, you win.

i rarely see any billies anymore. 1 in every 50 matches maybe? i used to see him regularly now he is clown/hag rarity. I'm not that sad he's pretty annoying with that silly scream everytime he does a charge. his chase musici is also hot garbage.
No, his chase music is incredible and him in his current state doesn't do it justice.
-
I don't care either way, even though I think there's better killer options out there. And we say Springtrap but it could be any one FNAF character.

They wanted killers to be less add on dependent?
That's not an excuse to make 2/3 of all killer add-ons garbage.

@DaKnight said:
I never liked playing him, and even less since his nerf. Good players will almost never be in a position to be sawed, and even if they are it can be a somewhat difficult skillshot (especially on blendettes). I never wanted to bother to learn how to curve, and from what I gather it's mostly dead now. He is reduced to an M1 killer at many loops, and any indoor map is just terrible for him.
I much prefer Leatherface since his buff. The Leatherface chainsaw is significantly more powerful than Billies if you can close the gap. All Billy has going for him these days is his really good terror radius music (that you don't even get to hear).
Plus you can just play Oni aka Billy but 3 times better.
That's what I said before, that good survivors will never be in a good position to be sawed, but I think that's map dependent. Blood Lodge or some place with 2 strong windows can be bad for him, but there's also many good maps especially if you have turn add-ons. Because you have to M1 sometimes, I bring Franklin's, and others bring Sloppy or even STBFL. But yeah Hillbilly's in need of some changes, because why would you ever play him over Leatherface?
-
He can make you exposed by staring at you, 99 you so that later he can just tap his stealth on for a second and expose you, and he can turn off his terror radius and red stain any time. Also his revealing effect is super inconsistent. Him and Meyers are the reason I have to run Spine Chill on every single survivor, and I don't like being locked into perk choices.

Christ almighty. Every other... no every 2 out of 3 games is this goddamned broken build. If the devs aren't going to fix it, how about you killers admit that it makes the game easy as goddamned hell and stop running it. I started equipping Small Game to hunt the totems down but it still doesn't help since the aura feature brings the killer to me and I end up getting stopped. Add Tinkerer or an Ebony Mori... this is just more freebie killer fun at survivor expense. When will you devs wake the F up.
It makes it easier, but not easy. Try killer without those perks. 5 gens in 5 minutes.

Get it!!! Cause killers complain about survivors DS and the devs made a killer where survivors complain about killers DS
How does a killer have DS?

@gatsby said:
The Devs wanted Survivors to have their own DS to complain about. Perfect balance.
I don't get it.

Toxic survivors are the most rage inducing killers to go against actually.

We need MMR.

For me, right now, I do it to hopefully complete this challenge I've been stuck on for days. Unhooking someone safely during the endgame collapse. Like that's going to happen.

Ungrateful.

To be fair it's not hard to hit rank 1. Git gud.
Troll reply.
-
If they want to make the most out of the extra bloodpoints, they'll not camp or tunnel or mori.

@Almo said:
From the perk text: "...success zones when repairing, healing and sabotaging..."
I'm pretty sure that answers the question.
Yeah, I got a bit lazy reading on that one. But it should work for more stuff or nobody will ever use it. I was gonna use it for DS because skill checks have always been laggy on console and I actually miss the DS skill check a lot.

On most of my games both are pretty uncommon due to the fear of DS. Proxy camping is kinda common tho, but imo it's a legit strat, so I don't bother too much.
You're lucky af then.

@Yords said:
I feel like many people exaggerate how horrible and common these two things are in the forums. Like seriously, almost every game to the point where you don't really want to play the game anymore? Yeah I find that hard to believe, but who knows? I might be wrong which is why I am posting this discussion. If possible, provide a possible reason as to why you were tunneled and/or camped.
I have been tunneled and camped pretty hardcore before for being considered "toxic" or just for literally no reason sometimes. However, it is usually 1/20 games for me. Usually if the killer tunnels me and I know that he/she will not stop I will use all the resources I need so that everyone else remaining can escape. If the killer camps, I stay on hook without struggling (because I have kindred) so that my team will know what is happening and they can finish the match and move on.
Not trying to start a war, just curious as to how common camping and tunneling are for you. Please include things like rank or playstyle such as being a rank 9-13 or tbagging a little bit (tbagging is ok IMO, just don't get upset with the consequences) along with flashlight saving.
It's like every other game is tunneling.
-
It's so bad. It makes him unplayable.

Guess we'll have to wait another year.

With the recent killers I agree but they did make one killer that was very unique that was PH but then we got rehashed powers
You're saying the Blight's not unique?
-
Y'all are so quick and desperate to say that new killer powers are a mix of old killer powers. But when you're in the devs position, I doubt your ideas would be any better.

It's not an oversight, it's intentional. Offerings are optional.
What?! The purpose of the offering is to spawn bonus hooks and gens, not to make those hooks unsabotageable. How is that intentional? That's a bug!

Every holiday event offering gets locked after the event is over. I haven't been able to use my BBQ invites in 3 years. Like bruh.
Yeah they need to do something about that. Even in custom matches there are offerings that are locked. I don't get it.
