I cross-played with a bunch of PS4 friends yesterday and they were super salty at the fact they couldn't 360 me because I play on PC.
Off topic I know but it's pretty hilarious tbh. 360s shouldn't even be a thing at this point, it's technically an exploit anyway.
Preach. It is an exploit, through and through. Fps plays a big part in them too. I can't play Doctor on console, because 360ers or not, the game will cause me to miss from fps drops. I literally won't play Doctor for that reason. Too many special little visuals that the console port can't handle.
-
The console has had fps problems since the time of the dinosaurs, but now it's much worse. If you're on a gen it's fine, aside from the classic laggy skill checks. But any amount of movement of your character, and you get abysmal fps drops. It's literally running at like 10 frames a ######### second. Now imagine that in loops. I'm surprised I still have the will to play.
-
They literally proved our point against them when they said that. So many killers complain about SWF. I wonder why?

Shadowborn is the perk to counter 360s.
No, because survivors can still run inside you if you're a chainsaw killer or Huntress and you can't hit them.

Its called unrelenting
That's doesn't solve aim dressing making you miss. It just gives you more attempts to not miss in a shorter amount of time.
-
It wouldn't be far fetched to add in something that adds a bigger hitbox to the killer attack, because we have chainsaw add-ons that do that. 360ing and aim dressing keeps getting swept under the rug and needs to be addressed.
-
It's an exploit. Same with DS granting immunity to traps for a second after getting off the killer's shoulder.
-
I know it's unacceptable for teammates to get you 2-hooked, but it isn't over when that happens. You just have to make less mistakes. You're screwing your team over by killing yourself on hook.
-
No, we're not turning it off again.
-
I think you should keep your DS if you miss it your first time. If console skill checks weren't so bad, I wouldn't be suggesting this at all. In fact, they might consider removing the skill check altogether, because why leave it to chance? Secondly, it shouldn't deactivate when you begin doing gens and stuff, but it should increase the speed at which the timer runs down. That's fair to me.
-
Boring killer, flawed design. I can play near perfect and not feed him any stalk, but he can still instadown me. He's a killer whose ability causes the higher level survivors on a team to be punished for randomly being queued up with weaker survivors. As much as I hate Ghost Face, he's better designed than Meyers because he doesn't instadown me from stalking somebody else.
-
It's too cheap for my taste. I don't care if I benefit from it, it shouldn't be in the game. Hatch already gives free escapes to the last person, and keys do the same but even earlier.
-
I agree. The result isn't worth the stress it took to get there.
-
The aura reading for Undying could be nerfed but otherwise I don't know how to nerf it without killing the perk.
-
It's fun to chase as killer. It's not fun for a chase to cost you 2 gens. It's annoying to have to mindgame survivors at almost every loop just to get them. Jungle gyms and TLs if played right, waste a guaranteed amount of the killer's time. There's no gameplay so to speak, just going through the motions.

I never take Iron Will off my roster. It just makes the game more fun as it opens up more possibilities for jukes that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Mind games are what makes the game fun to me.
Unfortunately for killer you just always have to take one of the 3 slow down perks (pop, surge, ruin). I say unfortunately because you are running one of them because you're basically forced to if you want a chance at winning against good survivors, not because you actually want to run them. Unlike my survivor choice where it's basically for fun, not necessity. You feel forced into more of your perks as killer.
I feel like as survivor I have no choice in my perks. As killer you can pick 1 gen regression and you're set for the rest. As survivor I have Spine Chill for stealth killers, DS for tunnelers, Unbreakable for sluggers, and Dead Hard for extending loops. I pretty much can't take any of those off, except maybe switching out Dead Hard for BT or Inner Strength.
-
I need Spine Chill as survivor. I hate stealth killers.
-
That's a straight up lie from them.

@NursesBootie said:
It's okay, but people using "Spine Chill" ruin it completely. And "Spine Chill" is meta.
Despite popular belief. "You don't need Spine Chill! Just look out for stealth killers!" Like it's that simple.
-
Some people just like being noobs.
-
Someone who does many chases rather than 1-hooking and 2-hooking everyone.

This is so stupid that it might as well be bait
That's your opinion.
-
Looks like we have the same feed.
-
Agreed. But they don't care. They're oblivious. If you tell them they caused you to die they'll just regurgitate "well I lived and you died so it's your fault". Real caveman mentality, right? But sorry to break it to you: everyone acts like that when confronted on their poor plays.

@HEX_MalusGrey said:
The "trick" is not to run throu his traces. Unless you unhook someone in the basement this is something that is very easy to avoid. Also getting caged is a lot better then being hooked. Chances are you get teleported to someone sitting on a gen who can immedietly unhook you. Avoiding his secondary is nothing i am particually good in myself, but since i also play PH i had a lot of situations where cornered survivors just dodged all of my attacks. Stay at a loop and bate is m2. Similar counterplay as with huntress.
But it's like playing against Hag: you need to crouch the whole way through to counterplay it. That's annoying and makes you waste time like crazy, so it's a lose-lose.
-
It goes against logic as well. If you're hit by a killer, you sprint burst away to another loop. You do that regardless of if you know the pallets nearby are gonna be blocked. It may seem like a powerful effect, but it really isn't.

Poor bait
You have to realize at some point, not everything you disagree with is a bait.

For YOU to beat or your team to beat?
My team of course. What do you think I am, rank 20?

By any chance are you on PS4 and play in a 4 man SWF? I got out of a match about 15 minutes ago where a green bunny Feng with a map ran straight towards me while tormented, failed to bait me with BT, got caged and called me a “homophobic fuckface” and a “tunneling #########” afterwards. If not, then this thread had some interesting timing (you’re also complaining about the cages).
Not me.

I really think if Legion should be given any additional mechanic, it should have to do with his multiple personalities. Hence the name "Legion".
-
I agree.
-
I get hit by those all the time. Sometimes I'll even stand back and still get hit. Just another thing in the survivors' favor.
-
Really? "Every" game?
-
Lerys has had fps problems ever since it got rebooted way back when.
-
Clown is definitely better because survivors can't disable your power. With Trapper, they can.
-
I think the hook spawns screw over killers more than they do survivors, especially with survivors being sacrificed on hooks destroying them permanently (which makes zero sense and needs to be changed). I'm tired of having to go to a further hook as opposed to a closer one because I might need it later. It's a stupid and unnecessary mechanic.

Why would deathslinger be dead?
Look at him. Looks can tell you a ton about if they're dead or not. He has these ghostly white eyes and in the trailer you can see him move his dislocated jaw back into place. If that's not undead, I don't know what is.
-
Console optimization. SWF-solo gap. Gen speed.
-
I disagree. Spirit always wins in green and purple ranks. But in red ranks, survivor teams are so insane on average that Spirit can barely keep up.
-
Yes it's toxic. But good on you, because until the devs encourage hooking rather than slugging (cough Pop nerf cough) it's only natural for killers to do this.
-
Probably Wraith, Hag, Freddy, and Deathslinger.

The only thing that can counter that a little bit is distortion. Honestly that perk needs a buff since killers run BBQ with hex undying which makes hex ruin the pain in the ass before they reworked it all over again! Hex Undying needs a nerf!
Yeah Distortion could start with 5 tokens and/or have a way to regain the tokens.
-
"Eheheh!"
-
They could do with nerfing his static blast, but otherwise there is nothing wrong with base kit Doctor.
-
Meyers, Ghost Face, and Spirit.
I don't like stealth killers, especially ones that instadown you just by staring at you, or in Meyer's case by staring at someone else. Spirit is annoying because you can't see her while she's phasing and she can fake it by standing still. Also, she's hard to see in just a regular chase because she phases in and out of reality for split seconds, making unmindgameable loops mindgameable just because of passive animations.
-
One where plenty of chases happened. Nobody was camped or tunneled to death. No mass slugging. Gens lasted longer than 6 minutes. No BM, moris, or keys.

Not at all, it's just that one could hold the game hostage for a much longer time whilst the other party (survivors) could do nothing about it.
Meanwhile, there's plenty a killer can do about a survivor clicking a flashlight such as hit them, plus it has no effect on gameplay or taking the game hostage.
Well the solution was simple to me: keep the bleed out timer going through the mori animation. The same could be done with 2nd-phase unhooking. If the timer reaches its end and you cancel the animation, the survivor dies.

Pffft. I dunno. I just know it has a chance to negate screaming. The only Jake perk I really care about these days is Iron Will because that perk decent!

Oh, yeah. I'm bad because my teammate fed a killer with an instant down.
They've also called me bad for pointing out that Billy running around RISK FREE was bad for the game. Overheat was added a few months later. But no. I'm the bad one, right?
It's good to see that I'm not the only one who goes against the mob mentality.
I don't like the overheat mechanic as is. It punishes him for using his power. The fact that there's add-ons to make the overheat less shows that it's a problem mechanic. It's supposed to stop people from holding it down indefinitely as they're trying to line up a curve or something. It ends up hurting you even when you simply chainsaw sprint once or twice and then try to down a survivor with it.

Honestly, the only change I want is for Freddy to have to work to put people to sleep. I hate the dreamworld and how you have to run across the map to wake up. Either make falling asleep something he has to work for, or let it be based on how long a Survivor is within his terror radius. Heck, I’ll settle for an extra alarm clock to be available on the map.
Spirit is annoying, but I can’t think of any changes that wouldn’t completely butcher her. My problem with her and all other high mobility Killers is their tendency to always tunnel or proxy camp hooks. To fix that, the devs would have to change the mechanics of the game. I’d go so far as to make Borrowed Time as a base-kit ability to discourage tunneling from the start of the match, but understand how it can break the game during endgame.
I also hate Killers who have abilities to see auras through walls, like Wraith and Michael, but that’s because I’m a stealth player and it completely counters me.
Freddy's clocks should not spawn on the opposite side of the map from you by default. I know it becomes a bit like Pig's rng boxes, but if the clock you need just spawns on a random one instead of cross-map, it will be way easier to wake up on average.
-
I've got ideas for a few killers.
For Legion, he's too basic and needs a secondary ability, having to do with the "Legion" concept of him. It would make him more fun to play and go against as opposed to mass-injure spam.
For Huntress, I think replacing some of her bad add-ons (like the locker aura one) and replacing them with hatchet recovery add-ons would be cool. Right now, Huntress can down way too quick at times, because a hit from her hatchet is like 8 stacks of STBFL. I think if she had more of a recovery at base after a successful hatchet hit, she'd be more fair. The recovery could be offset by the recovery add-ons I just mentioned.
For Doctor, his static blast is just too strong. Scale down the range, make it inflict less madness, or make the cooldown longer. Right now, static blast gives him too much slow down for free. Sometimes it seems like half the match you're breaking out of level 3 madness, especially with the pink add-on that shocks you just from touching another survivor. His regular shock could use some touching up because too many survivors are able to vault and drop pallets even after being shocked. Bring rollback vaulting back.
For Leatherface, honestly just make him cancel his chainsaw after downing 1 person. It's not fun for 3 people to go down in 10 seconds because of one use of a killer ability. Give him an add-on or 2 to allow him to keep going after downing a survivor.
