Getting killed by rancor even though I didn’t get hooked once home feels like a robbery at times
Which is strange because Tombstone Myers does the same but nobody has a problem with it. 🤔

sluzzy 2.0
I wouldn't go there. One day someone's gonna call you Sluzzy just because they disagree with your opinion, and everyone's gonna bandwagon against you. That is if you actually formulate your own opinions instead of going around everyone's posts saying "wrong", "lol", "okay".

I think you solved your own problem by saying "Try to practice Nuse".
Nurse is the best killer in the game and she can destroy basically any survivor if you are good enough. When you practicing you are not going to be at that level and it's going to be a rough time for a while, just like practicing at any fighting game.
However the reward is being good at Nurse.
Playing Nurse is a morally gray thing to do if you ask me. She's nowhere near balanced for this game. All she has is a measily little learning curve and then she's just unbeatable. I would rather not play as her or against her over other killers.
-
That's one hell of an accusation!

@Kirkylad said:
The nerf is coming next week but you can't be surprised that if yourself and other killers are tunneling people off the hook most matches that a survivor isn't going to bring the perk to prevent them from having their match end quickly. That's like camping and then being mad at BT.
Who knows if it's really coming next week? Maybe they'll delay it. They're trying so very hard to stall for this nerf that should have happened years ago.

I play like that because I get toxic swf every game. It's the toxic circle of DBD. Don't care about anybody but yourself. Ruin their enjoyment before they ruin yours.
Yeah, they gen rush, tbag at god pallets, and run at you with DS. It makes you not want to play "fair".

@Beefmur said:
i mean what do you want everyone to say. I can tell you every game isn't like that but you're just going to argue. Take a break from the game, play killer or do something productive
Yeah. Play something else, like Civilization, right?
-
Never thought I'd see the day Twins is rated higher than Doctor.
-
Chance.
-
The other extreme needs to be addressed as well, like jumping into lockers when you clearly went for the nearby window, or teleporting backwards into animation to get the pallet stun on the killer.
-
I just don't understand why it has a cooldown. I think it should be more like Spine Chill and less like Premonition. It should be lit up when looking at something and dark when not. The version we have now is stupid because of the unnecessary cooldown.
-
It's one of the better reworked main buildings, except for the god loop upstairs.
-
Yes! Give us more fov, because the current one is garbage.

@Shroompy said:
I don't understand why this is becoming such a big deal now, this has been a thing for a VERY long time. But I'm assuming some streamer said it and now the parrots have come out to spread the word.
It's just stupid how much of the killer's time it wastes considering you're literally just holding forward. It makes us question fundamental aspects of the game like gen completion time and killer movement speed.
-
Is good.
-
Fake.
-
I'm surprised they haven't made Funkos already, considering every other franchise ever has buckled to this trend and made Funkos of their characters.

@danielmaster87 I feel better now that I know that I red rank this garbage killer.. I mean, I'm not as good with it as with Spirit or nurse, but still a red rank..
Trash survivors or crazy luck.

That’s where effective use of slugging and regression perks come into play
The problem is that slugging isn't fun for either side, and spamming gen defense perks should not be a prerequisite for winning matches.
-
I refuse to feed into this "let's make fun of Sluzzy" culture, because one day it's gonna be one of us who has the 'dumb' opinion.
-
Deathslinger I'd say.
-
Nope. Garbage killer. Garbage rework.
-
Just gotta push through the pain and hope for the best.

@Phasmamain said:
Once your very experienced with a certain killer you can end chases very fast as any killer using effective mind games
But not fast enough. Gen rush trumps quick chases.

Yes, that is the point.

You’ll see less DS too. Then survs will use bt and you will see posts asking for bt nerf (you can see it now). Then you’ll see less bt and more prove thyself and you’ll see post asking for nerfs (you can see them now too). Then survs will use resilience, better than prove Thyself) and you ask for Nerfs.
same will happen with dh and sb.
in fact you can also see posts asking for nerfs to hatch, tapping a gen, loop, running, ...
Except hatch is uncounterable, unless you want to have a survivor slugged for 3 minutes while the killer looks for the other one. Flawless endgame mechanic. Surely we can't do better /s.
-
@nicnc82 said:
And hopefully you will get smart survivors that will only give you 1 kill if that for facecamping and tunneling so you get less points. I'm a killer main. I don't let then bother me. And tbagging and bodyblocking isn't toxic lol.
Except tbagging is expressly used to be toxic.
-
Yeah I must be unlucky with him, because I hardly 4k with him and have to sweat with him despite him being "OP". This is Hillbilly getting nerfed all over again.
-
@Tsulan said:
The games felt more interesting with MMR on.
I don´t get why people got so mad about it. Now its back to sweat.
People who complain about MMR have no clue how it's even supposed to work. They're like "these matches are bad AT FIRST, so let's cancel the whole thing because we can't wait a few matches for the MMR system to play out". Give MMR a week or less and you'll have actually good matchmaking. Noobs with noobs and pros with pros. But no, let's throw a tantrum because we get rainbow ranks for a few matches, which we've been getting anyway, and kill the only system that will get us accurate low mmr vs low mmr and high mmr vs high mmr match statistics.
-
He's gonna be played solely for memes. That's the significance of him getting released with zero buffs since the ptb.
-
It's funny. I pretty much said the same. But people brought out the torches and pitchforks when I said it.
-
They're entitled.

@Phasmamain said:
Sometimes you’re gonna lose. If you want to play this game you have to accept that. You probably made multiple mistakes that cost you the win
No, sometimes you're gonna lose, and that is decided the moment you queued up with a certain team. No amount of food plays is gonna change that, you're literally hoping the survivors make a mistake, and if they don't you lose.
-
Nobody said it was toxic. It's just eye opening at how easy survivor is, by holding forward to buy your team 3 gens worth of time.
-
@GeneralV said:
Interesting fact: Wraith used to have add-ons which increased Lightburn resistance. The strongest, "Blind Warrior" - Spirit, granted full immunity to Lightburn. However, they were decommissioned.
I know. And I think that's case in point for why lightburn should probably not be a thing. The fact that they had to make add-ons that would reduce or create immunity to lightburn is just so dumb. I thought they said they wanted killers to not have extra disadvantages just because survivors had certain items, which is why they got rid of trap sabotaging. But then lightburn is still a thing, and flashlights destroying Hag's traps...
-
Because people were blinded by nostalgia, calling them bad looking, whether those people really thought that or not. It's just cool, I guess, to hate on new things, which is why we still don't have MMR. Oh, and also they wanted easy 360s back. Can't let console killers have it as easy as PC players, right?
-
@DeadByDedicated said:
I don’t think lightborn prevents you from being lightburned. Even if it did, it wouldn’t be worth a perk slot.
My mistake. In that case, it's an even worse perk than I thought.
-
@laKUKA said:
I would recommend that you spend more time in the game than complaining in the forum about a perk that only serves to earn a few extra points. Try training loops because if it bothers you that the killer finds you at the barbecue and takes you down. "It's because you play with a lot of stealth"
That's the problem with most survivors out there: they substitute stealth for looping skills when they should know both.
-
So y'all must have had it really hard when Pop was 60 seconds like it's supposed to be.
-
"Rank doesn't matter."
-
I can never abandon one meta perk: Spine Chill.

Apparently some do.

That's what I do anyway.

Nurse takes no skill?
Well,that's a new one
It took me all of 5 matches to get good with her, and I'm only limited in what I can do with her because I'm on console. She's S tier unlike all the other killers because she ignores loops, walls, and obstacles. She's underestimated just because of slow walk speed, fatigue, and a few measily bugs that aren't even intended features. Back in the day, with infinites, old instaheals, old BNP, etc she could keep up with all of that. 3-5 blink Nurse was broken beyond belief of course, but she didn't need that to win against any team. When she got nerfed, instead of her add-ons getting nerfed like it should have been, I was furious simply because she was one of the few killers that could do well against top % survivors. But now I see how right the devs were in slapping a blink cooldown on her. She's broken beyond belief even after that 'nerf'. No killer comes close to her level of power, and that's why I say she'd never ever be released as a new killer today.
-
Oni and Huntress are definitely B tier.
-
Just don't abuse it. Limit the experience to the toxic survivors, or the devs will hear the survivor cries and buff the dying state somehow.

It's just one of the many things the Devs haven't got round to updating yet, such as FOV tied to perks and not as an option in the menus, Trapper and Myers' powers, exhaustion add-ons, fog offerings, bloodlust etc. It's not there because of SWF groups, no matter how much you want to think the Devs are biased and against you.
They are biased towards SWF, and that means being biased killers. SWF has never and will never be nerfed.
-
Keys and hatch are just unfair shortcuts. The killer equivalent is old moris or slugging/1-hooking everyone. Not fun to play against.
-
First come first serve, so Blight.
