On the contrary. Any time I suggest a killer buff or killer perk change, shot down. So either the killer mains are sleeping while I make those posts, or this forum is actually mostly survivor sided.

I'm rank 4 getting grey rank teammates. This is ######### embarrassing, BHVR.

Step 1 When the game starts drop a pallet
Step 2, fast vault it a few times
Step 3 reset the pallet
Step 4 stand at the pallet and stun the killer when he comes
Challenge done
But they could respect the pallet and not get stunned. So to guarantee it, you have to waste the pallet by letting them hit you and then stunning them. Some killers you just can't afford to give that free health state. With instadown killers, you can't do it at all. And waiting for them to hit you to drop the pallet doesn't even work consistently anyway. Somehow killers are sometimes able to hit you, you drop the pallet, and they don't get stunned.

I think it's laughable that people think priority #1 should be nerfing Freddy, Deathslinger, Spirit, while Nurse is the most busted killer ever made.

I never said Freddy wasn’t an issue and I’m quite fine with them nerfing him
But look at nurse
96 ish percent move speed which shows how busted her power is that she needs such a huge handicap
One of if not the best mobility in the game depending on map
Ignores loops completely
Can slug extremely well especially with infectious
Garbage addons for the most part since they can’t change her power at all
Very buggy with multiple match ruining bugs present
And people think she’s fine?
Nurse is so unbalanced, she might as well be removed from the game. I'm thinking like a Freddy-level rework is the only way to fix her, because she is the least fun thing in the entire game.

You have good nurses, and insanely good nurses. Even against insanely good nurses you should have some matches where you get more than 12k points. On the regular good level nurses, you should have plenty of high scoring matches. Nurse is difficult to play against because you have to throw everything you know about chases out the window.
Because she takes no skill. She teleports straight to a survivor 2 times and they're a guaranteed down. Literally all there is is putting distance between you and her, which doesn't do much against any killer anyway.
-
You're right. A good Nurse can't be beaten, at least not by solos. You'd need a 4-man SWF.
-
I want this too.

When you have massive frame drops on the "press X to continue" screen, you know it's bad.

DBD is my game! You already know I'm gonna playing a lot of it! And maybe watch some movies or shows on the side.
-
I also believe slugging should be "proven".
-
I know whatchu mean. So many proxy campers. They won't leave hook. And on the killer side of this rank reset, some of these survivors are smurfing hardcore. Like, I refuse to believe that yellow ranks (green ranks before the reset) are capable of this kind of gen speed.
-
@HellDescent said:
Because people still buy them, so why not
Probably all the 4-man bully SWF streamer squads that wear bright, colorful, obnoxious clothing to tilt the killer even more.

@Mat_Sella said:
You had to of forced DS earlier in the match, if the player goes down in an area that you can still apply pressure to, might as well eat it and ensure they cant use it later while being around to pressure a gen/ remaining survivors in the area.
Of course it's not like this is a fun thing to do and against better survivors this is more unlikely to happen
There's also mori's, rancor, Devour Hope, Blood Warden in your situation. (again, not like this is practical, but still)
But sometimes taking a DS early for no reason is what puts you in these lose-lose situations at end game. You just don't do this. "I need to take this DS now so I don't have to worry about it later when I'm camping them." That's literally assuming early on that you're losing no matter what, and there's the real problem for killer players.
-
If you're gonna DC, it had better be after you're already on the 3rd hook and you're dying. Any time before that, you save the killer so much time having to pick you up and hook you. No, because of your selfish baby decision to DC prematurely, he gets a huge momentum lead and time lead on the other players.
-
Nurse because she has basically no counterplay. Once she sees you, guaranteed down. Doesn't matter how long it takes.

Not on your life. The change to keys hasn't been announced, and Object's has. I'd be surprised if we EVER get a key nerf.

They can take as long as they want with that killer as long as he's strong upon release.

Idk if u are being serious or sarcastic with that lol
It's not sarcasm. The sole purpose of 360s are to style on the killer, and maybe put it in your highlight compilation. If you successfully or unsuccessfully do it to a killer, they can see you're calling them a chump, so they're gonna take things up a notch.
-
It's got to be Blight. He just looks too cool and creepy.
-
Good idea, but it's not anti-killer enough to be a serious consideration.
-
@Gaffy said:
360's only work on bad killers, if I get 360'd I just say ok lmao down that person hook them and continue. I'm playing killer for actually learning how to loop, get BP and play the characters I like either because of their power or lore. Camping is useless and just admitting your too bad of a killer to play properly for your rank.
That doesn't translate to endgame. Instead of camping the person on the hook to secure one last kill, you'd just go to the corner of the map and let them get unhooked and escape? That may be showing honor or sportsmanship, but not skill. In fact, it's the opposite of playing smart, because why would you give up such an advantageous position? It's the survivors' faults that they're in that position anyway.
-
Maybe you should stop trying to bm him with 360s and he won't play like that. It's worth a try.
-
@Huge_Bush said:
He should be able to summon lightening that stuns the survivor for 10 seconds and removes one health state!
No, they should just bring back the rollback vaults. It looks funny, but the survivors would be pushed back mid-vault animation because they were shocked. It was not OP, it simply punished survivors for waiting til the last second to vault.
-
Doctor is a low tier killer in my opinion. He, like Myers, Huntress, Wraith, etc instantly become mid tier or S tier because people use their OP add-ons. With certain Doctor add-ons, you're constantly having to break out with lvl 3, you're constantly having backwards stuttering skill checks, you're constantly getting zapped when you touch another person. He becomes like Freddy at that point, where there's too much passive slowdown happening to the other players while he's off on a chase with someone else. With these strong add-ons and perks, his static blast has too much range and can be used too frequency, similar to Myers' lvl 3.
And yes, the shock feels quite delayed. You have to assume they're going to make it over the pallet or window, so plan you're route accordingly.
-
@Trashmaster said:
While literally everyone claims thst the doctor rework was a noticeable buff, I would say it was a nerf.
Play with your food used to be great on doc, but now using shock therapy takes a token even though it isn't even an attack.
Madness used to be stronger though it was also harder to get it up. Static blast always puts too many survivors to madness 3, allowing them to just drop down to madness 1 in a few seconds.
Well at least extending the shock range doesn't kill the charge speed, so that's cool I guess
Sounds like they need to buft PWYF. "Offensive actions" is way too broad for a perk description. Things that are not attacks should not make you lose a stack, like Doctor's shock, revving a chainsaw, spearing with Deathslinger, etc. It bet it makes you lose one for blinking or teleporting to a Hag trap too. It should only lose a stack on a down, or on a successful basic attack. It's stupid that misses cause you to lose a stack.

When he was released on the PTB his reveal zone was larger and it only took 1 second. He was basicly unplayble, being constantly revealed by survivors who hadn't even noticed him yet.
Its really not hard to reveal him now. You just have to aim your camera at the right place for 1.5 seconds.
He can expose you in less than that amount of time due to busted stalking add-ons. And still, it's not as simple or consistent as y'all say.

Because BHVR have said no so they aren't going to put it into the game.
They've gone back on their word plenty of times, sometimes for good reason. They used to say 2-window killer shack with no entity blocker, fast vaults from any angle, slow killer vaults, and no bloodlust was balanced and took skill. Seeing as all that has been fixed, I'd say their minds are able to change on a variety of subjects, including this one.
Not too long ago, they rushed out that UI update that nobody liked, and then fixed it up because people complained. And now we're complaining about it again. See how the devs saying "no" is not the end of the argument?

the trigger for it is pretty tiny, you need to aim the very center of your camera for it to work

I still don't know why it's so darn specific. The entire body of Ghost Face being on my screen should be enough.

I mean if people are struggling to count to three there really isn't much hope either way.
You're oversimplifying what are usually complex situations. You usually have hooked so many people as killer that you lose track, especially if you got hit by DS or you've had to slug, or anything more complicated than chasing someone, hooking them, rinse and repeat. But if it's as easy as counting to 3, isn't it just as easy to have the individual hook counter in the game? It's there for the survivors to see, so what's with the double standards?

Being downed like you would have been with ew3? Or getting instakilled? Which is worse? I hope you know which one.
But what kind of alternative is that?! In what world is getting instadowned a good thing? Yeah, I know which is better but ######### are those options, dude?! If the counterplay to something that instamoris is to get instadowned, don't you see the problem with this situation?
-
I'm assuming they've just given up on optimizing the PS4 version because the PS5 is out.
-
The safest bet is Spirit, although she takes a little practice. Legion's power is literally to injure people, and Deathslinger requires good aim.

isn it better to lose rank
No. Especially not with the rank rewards coming soon.

Yes, the game punishes killers all around. If they played bad, if they played good. Doesn't matter. With DBD, it's the killer's game to lose, even if the survivors don't win.

The Entity feeds off pain, suffering, despair, and other negative emotions. It wanted it a meal and you handed it three M&Ms. Of course it is displeased. You ended the game as fast as you could so all your emblems are garbage. MMR has nothing to do with it.
Next time play with your food a little bit better.
So that they can make a complete and undeserved comeback, which shouldn't have happened but we wanted to go easy on them and give them a chance so we could get adequate points? I know that's not gonna happen every time but it's certainly a possibility. It's a joke.

Imagine how rare are games where everyone had fun. I would love to see the statistics lol.
It doesn't even matter to the devs because they only see the kills and escapes. They don't analyze the story of the game, which is why they think 2 escape, 2 dead is balanced.

Know your locker locations.

Its so funny when a tombstone myers is chasing you with the tombstone piece so you just jump into the locker and they cant do anything and did all that increased stalk for nothing.
Except getting a free instadown from the locker.
-
@Kebek said:
Both tombstones can be hard countered by lockers besides all the other things you can do againt them. Knowing how they actually work helps a lot to counter them.
But there is zero indication of him having it or not. What if it's just a normal lvl 3 and you just gave him a free down from jumping in the locker?
-
@some_guy1 said:
you have to aim the center of your camera to reveal him, not just have your character stare at him
But the survivor is in the center of the camera.
-
@Mr_K said:
Someone theorized earlier today on an earier thread, they think only one survivor can activate the reveal at a time. If that is true, then the other survivor might of been the one revealing him.
It shouldn't work like that then. The revealing should stack when multiple survivors are looking at him. Just like flashlight blinds.

@Kirkylad said:
The devs have said it's something then don't want because it promotes tunneling in their opinion. Besides I've never had an issue remembering who's been hooked and how many times, it's pretty easy to keep track of.
Good for you, but for the rest of us idiots who can't remember every hook we've made in a match, we're in the dark. "What's that? I hooked everyone twice and now they're all at the gates? I must have just played bad." When really, situations like that are caused by survivors having access to individual hook counters but not the killer. Either let both sides have that information, or let neither of them.

Not necessarily, but you shouldn't have any advantages at all. Not in endgame. At that point, you failed at your objective, so why should you be able to win? That's the same reason why hatch should be removed.
Yes. Remove hatch.
