  • They didn't fix any of the major issues in the patch.

  • I don't like how it works either. Again, problems caused by hatch being a thing.

  • I'm glad you asked. What's fun for me playing killer is going on multiple chases and feeling like you can* win. And that's why killer is so wack right now and not at all balanced. You can't go on multiple chases unless they're like 20 seconds tops, you have to dedicate 2-4 perks for gen defence, and most importantly you don't know how close or far you are from losing. You can have games with chill starts and then it's like a flip gets switched and the survivors suddenly wreck you, or the opposite where the start is super sweaty but the survivors decide to give up all their pressure. You can win the game at 5 hooks, or be on the verge of losing everyone at 8 hooks. Killers turn to slugging, tunneling, and forcing 2-hooks because the game often moves too fast otherwise. Of course, not every match feels like that, but you have to be prepared to play like that just in case. If you go in with a weak killer, don't use an optimal build, and/or aren't playing as serious, you're running the risk of being completely wrecked, which isn't fun because it feels like you did everything right and it still didn't matter. This is really why we need MMR so we actually know what to expect going into a match. Right now it's completely random who you get matched up against, instead of it always being people who are on your level of skill.

  • It is disappointing that such a game breaking thing, that isn't a perk or a built-in mechanic, still exists. An *item* causes this much frustration for one side. This is double standards of the highest order. Moris get instanerfed, keys tiptoe through the tulips.

  • Is that Lord Tony.

  • Why do y'all keep calling them gamehealth "chapters"? We have these things called patches.

  • What movie skin even? Most of his appearances look exactly the same. If they are gonna do that though, don't make the movie skin just be an HD version of his current look, and then leave original buyers of the chapter with a crappy outdated look. He deserves a bit of touching up just like Nurse and Doctor got.

  • It wouldn't be categorized as a chapter. It would be a lack of one. I'm not on the dev team but I have a hunch that they really can do 3-4 chapters and still do game health changes. They've done it before. The pandemic is not an excuse, because they're all working on computers to do their stuff anyway. But assuming all that logic gets ignored, then I'd be fine with 3 chapters a year in exchange for more frequent and comprehensive game health updates.

But again, they're not a small indie company anymore and they have a growing fanbase for their game. They should really just step things up. Invest more time in what I assume is their only job/project, or do some more hiring/replacing so that they have more people that want to get things done. "Work at your own pace" isn't working anymore. They need standards and deadlines.

  • I just know I'm not playing this game until they fix the freeze problems. I don't like losing just because the game is unoptimized.

  • Someone let me know that they were a 4-man team as they were queued against me, and then acted like I should've easily been able to 4k them with Pyramid Head who I don't play that much, even though I was only able to 1k them. "So bad, can't even win with one of the strongest killers in the game" they said, even though he sees no play in tournament 🤔. Also, it's like dude, 4-man SWF already gives you an insane advantage, and you're on a pre-remaster farm map. They have no self-awareness, these types of teams.

The devs said they can’t reliably reproduce the bug and actively asked the community to help them.

how is that acting like it doesn’t exist? They definitely acknowledged it and also fixed some instances of it..

Well it's clearly not that important to them because it hasn't been fixed yet. It occurs often enough, even if that's 1 in 25 games, that they should be able to recreate it on their own. Just have one of them play regular matches online. If someone on their team isn't able to play a regular amount to even find this bug, there's your problem. This could also be fixed by one of them simply looking into their code and being like, "Oh, that's not supposed to be like that."

There were no addons, is the thing. And, playing Billy myself, his chainsaw starts idling after his charge begins. It leaves me thinking Billy is undetectable after a second of sprinting with his chainsaw.

I do know that there's been several times where Leatherface is revving his chainsaw, either across the map or in chase, and it doesn't make any noise for some reason. I haven't seen Hillbilly do this though.

Oh please cry me a ######### river I tried and I stomped red rank swfs with only being rank 10 killer I belive I have also proof in one of my threads

If u as killer can't stomp bunch of solos with uncoordination, no abilitiy to communications etc etc ur doing something extremely wrong stop acting like playing killer is hard actually ppl here on forum act like it's impossible to play killer at all which isn't simply true confirmed by bunch of ppl takinh personal data of their matches plus official stats from devs

If you've played against actual good survivors you'd know how hard killer really is. That's all I gotta say.

  • I'm so sick of the bug. The devs act like it doesn't exist.

Nah that's just your mentality. And on top of it, you're trying to tell people what to do instead so you don't get your feelings hurt. Play the game out, ignore the 'toxicity' as you put it and move on. Been plenty of times I've seen teammates teabag or even teabag me as killer at EG and then we get to end-game chat and they end up commending the killer and being good sports. Don't take everything so personally, dear god.

I guess I'm just making up that they're being toxic when all 4 tbag as they leave on a game where I got gen rushed playing a killer I don't normally play, and got like 4 hooks the whole time. They know what they're doing, and they're punking you if you think their intentions are innocent.

  • He has 2 pink add-ons, one that makes his chainsaw sprint silent after a few seconds, and one that makes him undetectable after chainsaw sprinting a few seconds. Then there's also the super meme (green?) add-on that makes his terror radius lower when he's overheated. The killer could also be using a perk to be Undetectable.

  • It can be a substitute for Spine Chill or used in conjunction with it. That's the uses of the addon to me.

  • For right now, I can't see myself dropping the game. Right now I'm not playing, because the huge frame skips/freezes are unbearable. When it's fixed, I'll play again. I was playing it daily.

  • @DwarvenTavern said:

To be honest? Don't think I'd ever quit. Bhvr would have to be monsters in order for me to quit.

They're doing a pretty good job on that right now though.

  • @ShinobuSK said:

I spent way too much money on this to just quit now

    Sunk cost fallacy.

  • I have a friend that is literally like this, even though the roles are reversed. He gets mad at the killer simply for playing the game, and if the killer plays well he gets really mad at him. "Wow, you're so cool" and all of that, basically projecting this cheap, toxic personality onto the killer, when that's not the reality. Sometimes the other player is just playing the game. Remember that. Because if you act that way towards non-toxic players, what is your reaction towards actual toxic players?

  • It can be stressful as survivor if you're having to do everything for your team, essentially carrying the game, every time. And for killers, that's the feeling in every game because they are the only one on their side. To play to the best of your ability and to barely squeeze out a 'win' all the time is not fun, it's stressful.

It's obvious that soloQ is unbalanced and DEVs surely know it. If the official escape rate for SWF+Solo combined is 30%, then for soloQ only it's about 20%. How is that 50%/50% that DEVs promised us? They also promised us that they are gonna fix soloQ long time ago, but nothing really happened.

    It's about time.

And concerning weaker killers I agree too. But it's actually about all killers, a seal squad of 4-man SWF on comms can destroy any killer. SoloQ and Killers must be brought to the same level as SWF.

The reason escape rates are so low is because most solos are garbage, and most SWF are overly altruistic, causing the killer to get more kills.

  • @Adjatha said:

If your team is working on multiple generators, or capable of keeping the killer busy at a loop, the alerts are meaningless. The only time it's good is if the killer isn't busy, you're only working on one gen, and they're in a position to jump on it.

Like most Killer perks: Tinkerer can be easily negated if your whole team is doing the two things they have to do for a win - M1 on a generator and W on a loop.

This is what I'm saying. The killer can't pressure all gens at once so as long as y'all are pressuring 2 or more of them, the Tinkerers will mean nothing. This is just like people complaining about BBQ.

  • Yeah, and so is Spies and Whispers, right?

  • Flashlight clicking and tbagging is toxic. They're purposefully trying to annoy the killer and make them mad, because everybody knows that's what those motions are used for.

If you try to excuse this behavior and say, "It's just to get your attention." there's better ways of doing that, without being toxic. Run near the killer, body block for someone, make a noise while they're not in chase. Just use your brain instead of acting like these toxic things are the only way to get the killer's attention.

  • @van9684 said:

Most toxic behavior I see comes from killers. 99% of time.

If playing killer is toxic, then yes.

  • I don't do that. It's childish.

  • @Venzhas said:

Maybe I misread but i still didnt get The "infected" status

I know that the more he infects survs or kicks zombies, the more he gains power

Yup ure infected blue. Why you would use the vaccine ? If the Nemesiss power grows by contamination whats the survivors purpose to vaccine themselves and give him more power if theyre already infected once ? Does his power reducing when you use vaccines ?

Him whipping someone who wasn't infected already gives him more infection than hitting someone who is infected already. So what I do is save the vaccines for when he's already reached lvl 3, because then there's no downside to it.

I’ve read expert Blight players praise this add on. I don’t personally play Blight, but apparently (according to them) the ability to look all around whilst rushing is invaluable in planning their next Rush, and to keep track of a survivor.

Those guys must be trolling. Whether they are or not, they've pretty much cemented it as an add-on, because the devs will hear them praising it and think, "We'll just leave it as is" instead of replacing it with an actual usable green add-on.

  • This add-on is garbage. I can't believe it's a green, but at the same time I'm thankful for that because it means it will be rarer, because there's no way I'm using it.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

A survivor WILLINGLY taking themselves out of their team objective by kidnapping Victor is actually a MASSIVE boon to you as killer.

usually wrong if all 4 good loopers

you also forget about entering a locker and the sound cue of releasing victor and switching control

vigilant survivors will work on generators near a locker if possible and keep themselves healed so they can't be slugged and if you can't start a slugging spree with twins you can't camp and you can't snowball and you will eventually lose. the math doesn't work in favor of twins in such a situation

Victor should be auto destroyed if he’s already near a hook that Charlotte places a survivor

this idea is insane when i hear it from a twins player.

i don't know why you would even suggest this, maybe because your playstyle is chasing with charlotte, bodyblocking a loop, and transferring to victor mid-chase which is extremely inefficient, but you also mentioned using victor as a sentry to track survivors and ambush, so i can't really tell.

regardless, you're suggesting to obliterate the strongest aspect of twins, and without this camping power, they would drop to B or C tier.

thing with twins is they clap every solo and meh swf team (which is the majority), but encounter a coordinated good swf, you'll need to play as sweaty as possible. camping a slugged or hooked survivor included.

these are just my humble opinions from a twins main who has mained them since day 1 of PTB.

They were always C tier at best. You cannot afford to make a single mistake while playing this killer.

  • They're not that strong. The time you waste switching to and from Victor is insane, especially after he downs someone or gets kicked. You should have seen how they played before their undeserved nerfs, because even then they were garbage, and are now far worse. And you get robbed of hits all the time with Victor, especially at windows and pallets which you're supposed to be able to hit survivors over, but can't consistently do anymore because of the nerfs.

  • I don't know. There's a lot of things in the game like this that don't make any sense, to which the devs answer "we can't do it because (blank)". I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you wonder.

  • It's a legitimate idea. I guess I'm just not gifted in it, but apparently learning coding is "easy". So maybe the cosmetic team actually could help code with the coding team if they were taught. Judging by the frequency of the outfits we've gotten, they probably have a lot of spare time on their hands. It's feasible.

How fun do you think skill checks are with the constant freezing? What about being chased by a killer? Why do you think it's harder for you? Good god.

Yes, it is worse for the killer. Because the only time it's actually gonna hurt you when you're in chase. Killer is in chase all the time, survivors individually are in chase for like 1/4 of their match.

Come back to this post... look above the title.

    Unbelievable.

  • People unhooking others while Victor's on them has always been ######### up to me.

  • The truth has been revealed.

  • Inb4 people act like Trapper isn't garbage.

  • Because it's what we want to play. The playstyle, the role suits us better. It's definitely more challenging and skill intensive than survivor, even without the game being massively in the survivor's favor like it is now and probably always will be.

  • This game has been one crazy letdown after another for months now.

How does a 5 year old game with 600 members on the team manage to do such an abysmal job on these releases and updates? I’ve never built a game so I try and give the benefit of the doubt, but this is next level messing up. I’d expect this if the game just came out maybe but not now.

They need to be bought out.

    I mean.

Blight's now in contention for the third best killer in the game, jank nonwithstanding.

I wouldn't put him there on my list. Way too many problems, as I said. And I didn't even go into his counterplay that much.

  • So what, you wanna get him cancelled too?

  • He's garbage. Any other ranged killer is better. And if you believe he's the worst in the game like I do, any other killer is better.
