They're listed near the bottom here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/108852/ since nobody actually bothered to answer you while insulting you for asking.
Not a shadow nerf, just annoyingly hidden away.
I mean I assumed he wasn't referring to those because they are blatantly in the patch notes for all to see. Seems to me like maybe people should make an effort to find out the truth before spreading gossip of shadow nerfs.

Well, hold on for a second because he's just trying to see all has changed, and there's really nothing wrong with that in my opinion. He's not even complaining, just curious if there was anything that changed that we wasn't told about.
Anyways, the developers haven't done any shadow changes in while because it causes huge backlashes from the community, which is understandable. The developers are great people, and I can assure you that everything on the 3.4.0 Patch Notes has everything that was modified to The Oni. π
Also, I wouldn't believe everything you hear either because rumours can change over time.
I can tell someone, "Oni has a huge lunge range in Blood Fury" and by the time it reaches you, it could be modified to, "Oni lunge is really broken in Blood Fury" π
Sorry but I can't give him the benefit of the doubt. There's being critical of something and then there's having an agenda against something. IMO, SpaceCoconut fits the latter.

Signed. If they want to discourage lobby dodging then there are other ways to do it. I think every online game ever let's you see your teammates' ranks.

Having your on screen vision impaired indefinitely from just being hooked once in the basement IS game breaking.
You can avoid the basement very easily.
... Though I didn't think of how not being able to wiggle means the killer could basement hook you from anywhere on the map.
So yeah, that is a game breaking combo. I was incorrect.
-
These aren't game breaking.

whats the counter play to survivor spawning on top of Ruin with no way of stopping it??
Not relying on Ruin.

I agree, the devs did a great job.

It's much better now

Good thing I earned them all π

By few minutes he means 40 to an hour. Probably a bit longer for console.
-
π There, there, Peanits.. It'll be okay
-
It's called Schrodinger's Window. When vaulting a window survivors are both hit and not hit. Two parallel trials exist at the same time until the Entity decides which one you get.

It's not very likely. Having limited space for perks is by design. It forces you to pick what you want to specialize in rather than being a jack of all trades. You could give up one of the perks you're using to try out one of the others.
What if you're the jack of no trades? π
-
It matters to a degree. There's a world of difference between rank 20 and 1. Between 10 and 1? Sometimes there's a big difference but often it's because the player doesn't play enough to keep up with the rank reset every month.
But between rank 1/2 and 5/6? Not really too much of a difference, in my experience.

For that you can wait long because Sony doesnβt allow CrossPlay between Xbox and their own console (PS4). And they are never going to allow it, because they want to make money (friends have PS4, you have Xbox and buy PS4 because you want to play with them) π
Never huh? Cross play is active for COD, Fortnite and PUBG for starters. Probably more

I never said it was meta.
I'm not sure why you listed it with other meta and very strong perks then. Maybe a typo.

deliverance (because it is strong with decisive strike)
distortion was also popular (probably because of bbq meta but I don't see it used anymore)
Head On (a lot of people are using it to escape bad situations like basement and they are using it to troll the killer cuz it is fun π)
Mettle of man (but it was nerfed)
inner strength (why use self care which take 32 seconds to heal while you can heal in 8 seconds with inner strength)
I wouldn't say a single one of those is meta, personally. I never see Distortion or MoM, rarely see Head On and Deliverance. And Inner Strength is a good perk and new so can't say where it'll land in time.

"lol trash killer using noed"
<Survivor with DS, DH, Unbreakable and BT>
A lot of survivors are just hypocrites or are unfortunately incredibly biased. Nothing new, unfortunately, but gives a lot of decent/good survivors a real bad stereotype.
Unbreakable has now made it into the stereotypical tryhard survivor build? I must have missed the memo

Bloodwarden is a part of it but it certainly isn't the entire reason. Many survivors 99 the gates then run off back into the trial to mess with the killer, burn as much of their flashlight as possible, show that they can run around a safe pallet for as long as possible, and then instantly open the gate and leave when they're good and ready.
Blood Warden is not that threatening, and can be seen before even entering the gate which gives you plenty of heads up to avoid revealing yourself to the killer and you can just chill behind a rock for a minute.
EGC was designed to create pressure in the endgame in order to encourage survivors to leave as soon as possible, and you're lying to yourself if you think 99ing gates isn't at least partially motivated by circumventing that goal. It's like saying "oh us killers, yeah we ONLY slug for the 4k to protect against Left Behind!"
"Many survivors 99 the gates then run off back into the trial to mess with the killer, burn as much of their flashlight as possible, show that they can run around a safe pallet for as long as possible, and then instantly open the gate and leave when they're good and ready."
I guess I'll consider myself lucky because I've literally never had this happen to me, and never seen it happen as a survivor.
"Many" do this? Idk about that.

Since The Spirit's chapter, the devs don't want to make more meta perks for killers. It's obvious.
But I don't know why.
Which new survivor perks have made the meta?

I'm not even going to argue with you lmao. It's overpowered and everyone who's good at the game agreed that it was. That's why it's getting nerfed
If you have an opinion then own it. Don't act like you speak for everyone.
-
No.
-
Yup. This is it. There is where survivors have finally gone too far!
It's all over now.
-
Also to say having no blood pools for a match in exchange of a perk slot is insanely OP is absurd. It would be fairly strong but still only worth carrying in stealth specific builds. And stealth builds generally sacrifice things like DS, Adrenaline, BT.. aka meta perks.
-
Lucky Break should work for 60 seconds after every time you are injured. That way it's helpful when trying to evade the killer (especially with other stealth perks) but you can't just stay injured forever without tracking.
Maybe Blood Echo should have longer exhaustion values for those injured and shorter for those healthy (90 injured, 45 healthy). That way it encourages healing and is a legitimate punishment for staying injured. A good enough killer will keep injured survivors exhausted for most of the match.

Or someone doesn't actually understand the player base and realizes that the majority of the games population is at low ranks where you don't actually see what the games balance truly is.
π OK.
-
@Blueberry said:
Wait this isn't bait..you actually are saying BT needs a buff? You're serious?
BT is literally one of the top 3 best perks in the game and if anything it needs nerfs. It rewards bad plays and is unhealthy for the game. It is so highly abused.
Nearly 60 up votes at the time of my comment. I guess all 60 are in on the joke.
Or it's an indication of how out of touch you are with the realities of the game. π€·ββοΈ

I don't care about this add on but it got gutted. Of course you don't get it, cause you don't play spirit. Now it does more harm than good against SWF
Actually Spirit is my third most played killer. Keep making false assumptions about me though!

I wouldn't consider head shaking bm'ing either.
Sometimes it blatantly is, though.
-
Keep in mind that for console there is often a slight delay (~15 minutes) for the patch and then an hour or so delay for being able to purchase the chapter from the store. Likely due to Microsoft and Sony.
-
Also I'd like to point out that I, and plenty of others, tbag for many reasons besides BMing..
- to say thank you when a killer let's you go
- to say thank you after a survivor heals you
- to say sorry after you miss a skillcheck
- to say hello at the beginning of the match when you first see another survivor
- to say hook me to the killer when you're farming
I'm not saying people who incessantly spam tbagging, emotes and clicking just to be a dick don't exist. But there are plenty of times I tbag that I'm not trying to upset anyone, even if I do it to the killer. It might be hard to differentiate between the two sometimes, but if you start getting worked up at every single instance of tbagging, clicking or emoting then it might be time to take a deep breath.

most of the time I bm when I know death is near why not go out in a blaze of glory
Same lol. If the killer is about to down and hook me for the third time I do a couple quick tbags right before he hits me.

Game rules: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest ("edited November 28")
Relevant sections:
"THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT CONSIDERED BANNABLE OFFENSES - PLEASE DO NOT REPORT:
Β [...] Bodyblocking" (the ambiguous term that @thesuicidefox suggests be changed in the original post)
"GRIEFING: INTENTIONAL GAMEPLAY ABUSE:

In the current version of the rules it is not clear at all what bodyblocking means or that permanent bodyblocking falls under holding the game hostage.
EDIT: Added clarification
I don't think most people had trouble following along. More importantly, the people who this was directed to (BHVR), know exactly what @thesuicidefox is referring to. Stop derailing the thread with nitpicks and tone policing.
