Lol OK. Sometimes I had fun playing against an ebony mori. Doesn't mean it's not OP.
-
It takes away a perk for a bit.. This isn't rocket science
-
Thanks for the announcement.

The numbers listed on Prove Thyself are correct. It applies the 15% bonus repair speed after the 15% penalty so you end up losing a little bit on your individual repair speed.
0.85 c/s is your repair speed when working on a gen together with 1 other survivor. 0.85c/s * 1.15 = 0.9775 c/s.
Thank you!
-
I believe it's because it doesn't completely negate the co op repair debuff. It says 15% in game but the actual numbers are slightly different. I remember a dev or community manager saying this but idk when or the exact explanation.
-
There wasn't a bunch of hype for it there was a handful of people who clearly organized to come here and "campaign" for it.
And I say that because most of the people who would not stop talking about it, getting into arguments over it and creating unnecessary new discussions about it were new accounts.

what versions of DBD SE are these?
That's just the special edition for consoles. You can find the Silent Hill and Stranger Things bundles, too. Try searching for "Dead by daylight stranger things/silent hill" and they should come up
-
It's just a rage quit. That guy was pissed you beat him and he thinks he can take back some control by denying you a third hook. It's just an emotional reaction. Kind of a pathetic one at that.
-
2 minutes.
-
Patrol gens? There's so many ways to hide your aura lol
-
+1. At this point them not putting in load out slots is pretty lazy. I don't hate the new UI but I don't think it needed to be changed in the first place.
The only UI change I've always wanted is the ability to decide how our perks appear on the HUD. I always want my Spine Chill in the top slot so it's easiest to see. Idk why it has to be random. What is the purpose of that?
-
No.
-
I think if they switched the killer's hook counter with the character portraits that would be a nice change. More important information should be closer together.
-
Is this what you want?
-
Is it really unique to Resistance, though? Seems like a fairly standard HUD.
-
I can guarantee you most of the people you think you are "humiliating" either don't care or completely forget about it in minutes.
-
Idk but does this game really need more skill checks?? It's not some amazing mechanic that takes a lot of skill or makes the game more fun
-
I don't understand why something can't be a nice buff on its own. We don't need to talk about all the other things they could have done because this was not intended to be a Wraith rework patch. It's for Clown

Pretty sure that guy never said that 4man swf with those perks was fine. You're allowed to call a perk unfair without having to call out every single unfair perk in the game.
We should be able to add fine print to all of our posts detailing every opinion we have on every perk, add on, offering, killer, etc.
"Undying needed a nerf."
"Ya but what about.."
"Please read this 20 page document I have prepared."
-
But tbf I believe charms were mostly added to pad the battle passes out more.
-
It would be neat but it would take a lot of work especially at this point. And given that they've actually taken a bit of a step back, such as locked legendary outfits, I'm not sure that's a direction they want to take.
I wish, instead of charms, they had introduced accessories that worked with any or most outfits. Glasses, watches, necklaces, belt buckles, etc. Charms are kind of neat to collect but on survivor they're so small you barely notice them and on killer they're only on the hooks.
-
I've heard that it's unintended but I don't think I've ever seen a dev officially comment on it.

Y'all are so petty, I swear. All y'all do is make toxicity out to be a non-issue and say "Just don't get offended so easily". The first time or two someone is a jerk to us in this game, they get a pass because they're just a random jerk. When it's a daily occurrence, something is wrong. I'd say that evil is literally thriving if that it the case, and it is. People behaving like that is not acceptable, and while we can't stop them from doing it, we can't just pretend that it is normal. What you're telling the victims is "you're the problem". You just don't do that to someone.
Evil lol. Taunting in a video game is now evil, guys. You heard it here first.

You shouldn't be able to dead hard through trapper traps. Not just from a gameplay balance perspective but also a logical one you still stepped through it.
The Entity makes its own logic.

Taunting isn’t a mechanic built into DBD, survivors are the only ones able to taunt by manipulating the mechanics. Killers have no option.
I couldn’t care less, I play both sides, I just made a post quoting one of the devs!
If killers have no option then what's hitting on hook, nodding or shaking your head, or standing over a survivor as they bleed out?

Screaming at the Jack of Spades thingy holy ######### LMAO
Hahah thanks sometimes I'm funny
-
Cue the outrage!
This is gonna sound pretty wild but did you know in Apex Legends the devs hired actors to voice taunts you can use whenever you want in the game?! You can even equip a taunt to play when you kill someone else!!
Did you know in Clash Royale the devs created emotes of characters crying or raging or laughing?!
Taunting is a part of almost every online multi-player game ever made. Can't handle it? Play Solitaire. Though that smug look on the Jack of Spades' face might send you right over the edge
-
Some of you guys say the same things every single time there's a nerf of any kind. Just stop.
-
Yeah they just need to have new effects
-
I look forward to making sure you get no value out of Devour Hope :)

your logic makes zero sense.
If before this nerf, you lost Undying first you said you got no value out of it.
Now you are guaranteed to lose Undying first, but you call that value? Transferring stacks is practically irrelevant.. by the time you have 2-3 stacks of anything, the 2nd totem is likely to be gone
literally no sense
Yes, I misunderstood the first part. But if hexes never make it past 2 or 3 stacks, why would anyone ever run Devour Hope? You're exaggerating.
Let's not forget that 1. They've been buffing totem spawns in older maps, 2. They are better at hiding them in new maps and map reworks, 3. With the graphic update on totems, they are no much harder to spot, especially just in passing.

I guess I need to see it in action to get a proper grasp of it, because on paper I can't understand why giving survivors a sprint burst would be a plus to the Clown.
I don't think 10% extra speed is Sprint Burst.
-
I mean plenty of times I used Undying it was the first totem cleansed, giving me next to no value out of it. Now you are guaranteed value because it can transfer stacks. I think overall it's a net buff. I could see why some would see it as a nerf but the constant jump to "OMG THE DEVS JUST KILLED [blank]" with any change is seriously obnoxious.
Edited because I had a brain fart
-
I love the Wraith and Clown changes. We'll have to see with Trapper. Clown gets some more map pressure and Wraith gets to be stealthier.
I'm glad the situations where you're stuck in a trap forever are gone, but hopefully the decreased chances of getting out in 1 to 3 attempts are enough.
-
Yeah I'm a fan. I wish, while they gave Trapper traps a mini rework, they also had him start with 2 at base. Other than that, I'm quite happy with the changes
-
Huh? They said that the current ranks (red, purple, etc) will not determine matchmaking. They're literally only going to be for your reward in that month.
-

It’s all good, that’s the dev philosophy: nerf a killer into the ground until survivors don’t see them anymore.
Happened to Nurse, then Billy, then Pyramid Head... who’s next?
But don’t worry, they’ll revisit Nurse in a year to fix her dead zones on the old maps while she has more dead zones on the new maps!
All of those killers are still strong, though...

Kinda hard if they start to hide in some random corner of the map though
For 60 seconds? They're not doing gens then lol
-
@Hopesfall said:
I tried it for a while with Nurse, but never got any value out of Dragon's Grip.. they just become hyper immersed and the Exposed effect doesn't last long enough given the amount of cooldown it has. What is it.. 30 sec exposed with 80 sec cooldown? Dumb
It's 60 seconds. You should be able to get to a survivor with Nurse in 60 seconds lol
-
The ironic thing is that the complete opposite is true for many killer mains on this forum. They don't want a challenge, they want to be "the power role." They want the devs to make the game "scary again." I mean look at the dude in this thread who said the killer rate should be 75%. He wants to play a completely different game that has next to no challenge.
-
Honestly it would be a waste of the devs time. You really want this instead of bug fixes or new chapters?

You're right they don't... which is why kill rates are inflated
In my opinion
Can you elaborate on that? Why would they be inflated by excluding games with DCs?

@ZaKzan said:

and how many of those kills were because of stupid team mates? There's so many factors to account for here that just looking at killer performance isn't enough.
Did the individual survivor kill themselves on hook?
Did another survivor attempt a save in front of the killer's face?
Did the other survivor unhook then hide from the killer, forcing a tunnel?
Was the survivor any good at the game? How about their team mates?
Considering how easy it is to be carried to red ranks by other survivors and how easy it is to rank up, my guess is that at least half the kills in red ranks done by killers can be attributed to survivors that don't deserve to be in red ranks to begin with. Anecdotally, I can also see this in my games, some games I'll face a team of good survivors, some it only takes 1 or 2 bad players to snowball in my favor.
They have a very flawed system in place to determine skill, and because of this fundamental failure, any information extrapolated from such a system will be flawed and will not tell them anything meaningful, most especially considering player skill and what the top players are. It's the same reason why they said OoO was fine, because it doesn't necessarily give the individual survivor more survival rate, but they failed to mention the impact on the rest of the team. OoO is certainly a skill that will favor the team over the individual as it will get the killer's attention, and also encourages tunneling the OoO survivor.
Not really sure why you're directing this toward me, I was just correcting misinformation, not stating an opinion or analyzing statistics
-
I'm almost certain they've said the kill rate data they show us does not include DCs. I'm not sure why everyone is acting like it's fact that DCs are included.
-
None. If there was a bunny survivor (Bunny Feng doesn't count) I'd feel bad.
-
A killer that moves really fast has zero map pressure? You even say in your first sentence you basically only use Legion when doing a daily for them so.. why would you expect to be good with a killer you don't use?
-
I'll be dancing in the streets when they nerf the iri heads. It's long overdue.
-
Nah.
-
Does it really matter what the reason you were camped and tunneled is? There doesn't need to be a "legitimate" reason; it's a valid playstyle that the devs say is okay if that's what you want to do. I mean how long have you been playing this game at this point? 2-3+ years? If you haven't accepted that you will occasionally be tunneled and camped while playing DBD then I'm not sure this is the game for you.
