To be honest, I've seen people using noed even with ruin and undying. I already expect it in any game. But it's way easier to deal with than undying was at it was. I won't say I love noed, but if it's to choose between the perks, noed it is no doubt about it.

Whenever I see NOED from anyone higher rank the 14, I laugh at the killer for a good 15 minutes. I feel very bad for anyone that takes that perk after they learn how to play this game.

I only use NOED on gimmicky builds, like something that uses Fire Up + NOED + Blood Warden + Bitter Murmur

It's not that we cant get kills without NOED, it's just that we want easy games just like survivors want easy games.

Not sure what rank you're in but it won't do you any good in red ranks assuming the survivors aren't dumb. Any rank lower than that you'll prob have a field day

This isn't true at all. I've been in many red rank games where the survivors got decimated by NoEd.

This. I see NOED in most my red rank games that the killer wasn't running Ruin/Undying because most red rank survivors don't touch dull totems because "it wastes time."
Both of you need to realize that Perks are put into the game for that players benefit. We are all entitled to running whatever perks we want to help us fulfill our duties for said side. Stop with this nonsense.

This change won't make more killers bring NOED. It's the same way that NOED users didn't go down when Undying + Ruin became meta.
I've stopped using gen defense on Trapper entirely, except Corrupt. If there's zero point in defending the gens, and I can't get any use out of my gen regression perks, I'll just do without. NOED is looking awfully tempting to equip.
add Play with your Food 3 stacks to that
NOED is a great perk for beginnings. Survivors have multiple beginners perks as well and that is ok, but it is hilarious that anyone that plays as a killer and gets past purples ranks still has to rely on this. It is such a crutch perk I feel legitimate pity on any killer that users it on higher ranks as that is just sad. (the exception always when someone is just working on some stupid challenge that requires some dumb perk combo to complete)

Undying will still be active at the very start of the game so you have the WHOLE GAME to break ONE TOTEM and thus remove it's ability to work on noed.
If you can't break a single lit totem in any game at all; then you have a lot bigger problems than noed to worry about.
I've had a lot of luck with pop, oppression and corrupt. For the first part of the game if you use them it will regress all the gens that are not affected by corrupt; and later on when there are only a few gens left anyways it will affect them all with one kick.
Your 4th slot is still STBFL or w/e your main perk is.
Unlike ruin you can't cleanse oppression.
Don't get in a game with me. I always cleanse totems for the Hex Abuse over the months. Sometimes I get real cheeky and bring Small Game for those new maps.
I came to the realization that perks that require you to kick gens are bad. If someone is on the gen and you have to kick it before going after them, you're giving them a huge lead and they'll probably make it to a safe loop. That's why I only use stuff like Surge and Ruin to regress gens.
You're missing out; but if it works for you then go for it.
However it is not a 'bad' perk or perk combo; it's extremely effective you just have to know when and what you are doing with it. There are times to kick a gen and times to not.
Some of you guys say the same things every single time there's a nerf of any kind. Just stop.

No it's not, if survivors clean all totems that's enough time wasted for a good killer to kill them all.
If survivors just genrush, dont heal and do the Adrenaline play you should have enough time to kill at least 1 person before all gens get done and have all the others at least 2 hooks from dying, which is perfect for a NOED slug festival.
I like to see NOED as an insurence, I rather have It and not use It, than not having It and need It.
Against good survivors yes.
There will always be complains about Noed until they change it, then tunneling will become the new Noed.

The problem with NOED is, that the devs balance around kills.
So a killer who struggles, gets gen rushed and only gets some kills due to NOED will look perfectly fine in the stats.
NOED undying is, and always will be, a spicy combo. Massively underrated unless you have a squad who only do totems.

Honestly not sure. It’s one of my least used perks on Clown.
Never used the ruin + undying combo and not going to start using noed either just because undying was changed. Don't need to be carried by noed to red ranks.
You do realize DS and UB are in the game solely because of killers right? If you guys didn't tunnel, then we wouldnt have even needed the perks to begin with.

You and 95% of the rest of killers who still play this game. it's not gonna be anything we haven't seen before. If you wanna bring a perk to down and proxy camp 1 guy for 2 minutes at the end of the game while the rest of the survivors escape that's up to you.
Doesn't work much typically in my games. Probably because i'm there though. I'm almost always running Inner strength and I don't give noed users satisfaction if i can realistically help it. I'll stay just to cleanse it and save. But it shouldn't even surprise me it works for you considering how bad most survivors are and how they refuse to do totems unless its ruin..Oh well more power to you
