Okay, since you and someone else did the joke now, does that mean the joke is supposed to be wrong?
I started up the game just to check out Self Care, and the Med-Kit bonus is only for yourself.
Never noticed. Interesting.
-
Self Care wouldn't be entirely useless if you brought a medkit for healing other survivors ;)
Edit: read too fast. The joke has already been made. I have dishonored my family.
-
Killers need to chill with repeatedly hitting you on a hook, mori spamming or forcing you to stay for the whole EGC.

I fought a 4 man DS/SWF team today, decided to just let them slug until they all got down and lost half of their bleedout timer.
Bleeding out takes 4 minutes so half is overkill.

IF is used to quickly snowball for a quick game.
You bring a Killer that can quickly down people like Billy/Nurse, bring Monitor for extra range (and because monitor is a good perk in general) and then go ham on them.
You down someone, IF procs and usually reveals at least one other Survivor, you down them too immediately and then it procs again telling you where the next target is and you go to down them too.
Infectious Fright Nurse is currently one of the builds people use when they want to utterly crush Survivors, since the Nurse can immediately be right ontop of them through walls after each down keeping an insane amount of pressure and momentum going very fast.
And of course if IF doesn't proc on a new Survivor then you just hook everyone you downed which is usually at least 2 Survivors right off the bat.
Additionally it's also useful in gimmiky builds such as dedicated slug builds, DD builds, large terror radius builds, ect. But that's less important for obvious reasons.
The only reason why I wouldn't use it on Spirit, Hag and Huntress is because of their small terror radius's.
Yup. I've seen rank 1-3 Hillbillies destroy with Infectious Fright.
I've noticed killer that can't quickly down, like Plague, will run IF and then just ignore anyone who screams. Like why even run the perk if that's what you're gonna do?
-
Same would go for killer btw, but their perks are tougher to categorize.
-
I don't think they should be made baseline, but ideally perks would be categorized in a point system. Like CoD you can equip 10 pts. Team aura perks would be 1 or 2 pts, killer aura revealing perks would be 2 or 3, exhaustion perks and DS would be 3 or 4, etc.
I know it's not gonna happen but it's my dream.
-
I prefer the current lighting.

I disagree entirely.
Fantastic counter point.
-
It's funny because some of you desperately want this to happen just so you can be right about something. You don't want things to work out, you want the narrative in your heads to continue.
-
"the amazing"
Come on, there's no need to glorify streamers. Let's not be ridiculous here.
-
Doesn't mean anything to me.
-
Everything is "toxic" and "bullying" on these forums. Good god, just play the game. Posting topics like these only fuels the very people who are trying to piss you off.

6 times this has happened, all yesterday....is there anyone else experiencing this? like as soon as you exit the gates, the killer dcs??? i dont get it....i mean yes some baby killers or baby dbd players will do it....but i mean can someone please explain it to me? why dc when everyone has left? and has anyone else experienced it?
Yup, it's been happening to me constantly lately. Ever since I hit red ranks again. It happened before then but not nearly as much. I lose everything every time, too.

Sounds about right from my end. I typically always ASSUME theres 4 DSes in play, and will often times check after the game to see how many I avoided eating. 2-3 is about right.
Regularly in red ranks I see 0 or only 1 survivor has DS equipped. And then the amount of times I see DS actually used is pretty low. Often killers slug out of precaution or just don't tunnel.

From my own experience and watching streamers, it's usually 2-3 DS per game.
That's absurd and nowhere near my experience.
-
I don't think they're similar at all.
-
Lol I love it and I'd totally watch it
-
Sorry but these suggestions are no good and would effectively make the perks useless. Not gonna happen. Every single one of these perks has already been nerfed. They are fine.
-
You don't jump, you just run. Killers are faster than survivors therefore they can make the gap.

Then you need to put a skull or something over everyones name in a group.
I am stick of going against 4 stack after 4 stack.
You might want to try a different game.
-
This is exactly like when new Freddy was released and everyone said his traps were useless and pallets should be basekit.
Learn to use them. Learn to stop with the kneejerk reactions.
-
Not sure why you would use Inner Strength and Second Wind together. Complete waste.

It doesn't matter if a killer knows you have dead hard. They can't stop you from using to clear a window.
Well, yes they can, it entirely depends on the circumstances. And fortunately for killers there aren't an infinite supply of windows all over the maps.
-
@The_Manlet said:
It's a free health state in every chase if the survivor knows how to use it. You use it to gain a small boost of speed to clear a pallet or window, keeping a chase going and potentially letting you get a surprise pallet stun that lets you run to the next tile. Or you use it to dodge a hit out in the open if the killer doesn't expect it, but that's a lesser use.
Why is everything called "free" on these forums? It's not free because you need the perk, you need to not be exhausted, you need to already be injured and you need to time it right/hope lag doesn't ######### you over. Not to mention it's usually only good once per trial against a killer that's paying attention.
-
I think the problem is nobody plays him.
-
It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
-
Personally I love when they get mad because they tunnel me while the rest of my team gets 3+ gens done.

No one had a problem with it back then. Now that it's become a norm it's a problem.
Did you poll the entire community? I'd love to see that data

Urban Immersion is a play on words about how people who run Urban Evasion and just crouch around the map hiding all game are super immersed. Immersed basically means someone is spending more time hiding than playing the game.
I meant devour soap and borrowed rhyme

Oh is devour soap because it looks like a piece of soap is in her mouth? I don't think to look at the icon haha

Any others you can think of?

Nah, the map is great

They're very fast for me. Have you tried exiting and starting over? Could be bugged.

Made sense to me. It is pretty crazy how big the game's gotten

@Peanits sorry, but you're wrong, dying light can get up to a maximum of 9 stacks, 3 survivors x 3 Hooks is a total of 9 stacks x 3% = 27%. You cannot get 11 stacks, because obsession doesn't count.
The obsession hooks count I'm pretty sure

It’s the rules to censor everyone’s name, I can see you’re new around here. Welcome!
It actually isn't. Only if you are shaming someone. Nice try though.
-
Also I like how you act as if you're proud of the way you play and yet you censor your username. Pretty telling
-
You're getting 18-21k in BP. When I play killer I call that a wasted match.

Why dismiss him like that though? Just be civil about it. My first thought seeing this post was "maybe its just dying light" unless i missed a comment i see no reason to talk like that.
His initial post was sarcastic and rude. And I know who he is. I'm not going to say anymore on the subject.

Funny, your first story doesn't line up with that claim.
You realize you're able to tell which perks others are using by the effects they have in game, correct?
Please troll someone else
-
@Tzeentchling9 said:
Couldn't possibly be that a perk that just got reworked, which everyone wants to try out, can randomly crash their game...
Actually I could tell all 4 perks they were using. It's cute how desperately you feel you need to defend a stranger simply because they were playing killer, though. 😂

Yesterday, I had this scenario happen multiple times: killer hooks someone, exit gate gets opened, survivor gets unhooked, killer finds out survivor is protected by Borrowed Time, killer immediately disconnects before anyone can escape.
I'd only ever had that happen like once before, but yesterday it happened multiple times.
Yeah killer DCs have definitely increased for me lately. Idk why. The only difference is that I played consistently enough to hit red ranks again the past couple of weeks.

@Tzeentchling9 said:
Probably not for a couple of weeks. If nothing else, we'll probably be waiting for the console versions to get validated.
Hotfixes can be pushed out very quickly on console, like within a day or two.
